no but he was my first ever obsession (besides big time rush) that I read fanfictions about and all that. I know this is super random but the day he died came and went and I feel like I needed to say something because I love him so much!! I was CRAZY like CRAZZZYYY over him and Keith it was unbelievable. Slash anuncia el LP de covers de blues repleto de estrellas 'Orgy of the Damned'

El LP de 12 pistas encuentra al guitarrista de Guns N' Roses dando su toque a una variedad de temas básicos del género y joyas menos conocidas, incluyendo "Cross Road Blues" de Robert Johnson, "Hoochie Coochie Man" de Willie Dixon (grabado por primera vez por Muddy Waters) y "Stormy Monday" de T-Bone Walker. Al igual que el álbum solista homónimo de Slash de 2010 , cada pista contará con un cantante diferente y la lista de invitados incluye a  Chris Robinson ,  Billy Gibbons , Iggy Pop , Paul Rodgers y más.

'Orgy of the Damned' continúa donde lo dejó el blues de Slash
La afinidad de toda la vida de Slash por el blues no es ningún secreto, pero el guitarrista sólo profundizó brevemente en el género a mediados de los 90 con Slash's Blues Ball, que estuvo de gira pero nunca lanzó música. Orgy of the Damned presenta al ex bajista de Blues Ball Johnny Griparic y al tecladista Teddy Andreadis junto con el recién contratado baterista Michael Jerome y el cantante y guitarrista Tash Neal.
La banda descartó canciones durante el ensayo e intuitivamente eligió la lista final de canciones antes de grabarlas en vivo en el estudio con el ex productor de GN'R y Slash's Snakepit, Mike Clink. La pista instrumental original "Metal Chestnut" concluye el álbum.
Hablando del sencillo principal del LP, Slash dijo en un comunicado: "'Killing Floor' es una de mis canciones favoritas de Howlin' Wolf, pero también uno de los riffs de blues icónicos que me excitaron cuando era un joven guitarrista. Siempre he "Quería cubrirlo de alguna manera y este disco era el vehículo perfecto. Pero tocarlo con esta banda y con Brian Johnson cantando, fue un logro que nunca hubiera imaginado en ese entonces, y mucho menos Steven Tyler proporcionando el arpa".
