No thoughts tonight, just dad Levi in my head.
You always wanted a spring baby. You thought it represents hope, new beginnings, and endless possibilities. But your baby came at mid autumn when the leaves were falling and the sky gray. It wasn't that you would love your baby any less just because of the season the baby was born in, but you had concerns about your baby surviving the winter.
Living in the outskirts of town closer to the military camp allowed Levi to sleep at home whenever he wasn't on night duty. However this had reduced the convenience of reaching for a doctor. Levi knew about your concerns and he assured you that there was less titan attacks in the winter and he would arrange with Erwin to have lesser night duties.
Before the winter came, you and Levi had been thrifting for warmer clothes, but it was hard to get infant sizes. You learnt to strap your baby onto your chest to keep warm together. Levi had the cadets carried more logs to the cabin. You sewn clothes together to make thicker blankets, socks and mittens.
When the cold harsh winter hit, you dressed your baby in 3-4 layers of clothings you sewn. You yourself was wearing 2-3 layers too. The jacket Levi took from the military was useful when you had to go out to fetch more logs, but it was too hot in the house. Seeing your baby's cheeks red with warmth and love, your worries reduced. Your baby was the exact replica of Levi. With his hair was dark as the night, his eyes gleaming silverish blue and his pointed little nose, you loved your baby so so much you felt like your heart could explode with love.
One evening without night duty, Levi came home to you. He gave you a quick kiss, played with baby for a moment, and hit the shower. Levi always showered before you during winter to make the bathroom warm. After a hot shower and feeling warm, you walked into the living room finding Levi alone and the crate empty.
"Levi? Where's baby?" You asked, a wet towel draped on your shoulders. Turning around, you saw a big bulge under Levi's oversized hoodie. Levi insisted on buying this oversized hoodie at the bazaar. You knew Levi did not wear oversized clothing but he refused to disclose what it was for. And now you knew.
You mirrored Levi's grin as you approached him. Levi was bouncing on his toes. He leaned in toward you, pulling at his collar. You saw your baby's sparkling huge eyes staring at you. A grin started to spread across his face when he saw yours. A sharp baby-ish giggled echoed through the room. Levi had strapped baby onto him and pulled the hoodie over them. Baby was safe and warm with Levi, grinning as he ate his little fist.
Levi started to hum and rub the baby's back, lifting his eyebrows and blinking his eyes to tease baby. Baby laughed again. You kissed the side of Levi's lips. You really loved watching Levi being a dad. He was never shy or embarrassed to learn about being a supporting partner during the pregnancy. You tried to stop him for strapping the baby onto him after his long day at work. You knew how it hurts your back, but Levi insisted because "you have been carrying baby for 9 months, i want to share this with you too".
With Levi sitting on the sofa and you on the carpeted floor, Levi was drying your hair with a towel by the fireplace. The cabin smelt like bonfire, tea and baby powder. Snow was falling quietly outside, and the night was dark.
But your cabin was warm and cozy. Your husband's fingers massaging your scalp as he dried your hair. Your baby babbling happily and Levi replying with "oh really?" "you like to eat your fingers, huh?" "you think so?".
Oh, you thought, what a wonderful life this is.

Unexpected - Part 2
Sorry for the delay everyone. Here's part 2! Hope you all like it :)
Summary: You work for an events company and end up being assigned as a talent handler for a 2 week long convention. Your co-worker ends up assigned to Glen Powell, but you catch his eye. Can you remain professional and keep him from knowing you're actually a pretty big fan of his?
This is my inspiration for the outfit he’s wearing :)
Part 2
It’s the middle of the week, and every day has been spent coordinating with Dylan O’Brien’s team to get every piece of his schedule nailed down. He only had one assistant in the office currently which made your job a bit easier. Savannah, on the other hand was sipping her lattes with her feet kicked up in the corner of your office while you took your meetings each day as Glen’s assistant sent everything over via email or text, to not fill her day up with Zoom meetings.
“This probably means he’s a control freak.” Savannah muses, chewing on the end of her pen as she notates an email from his team. “Look, we both have our work cut out for us. Have you opened your package yet from his team?” You ask, waving your mailer in front of her with a grin. You already knew she was going to want to swap one of the items.
“Wait, what? No! What did they send?” She grins, tearing open the envelope to pull out a large autographed headshot of Glen. Some pens, a lanyard and a handwritten note from his assistant come tumbling out with it. Savannah pouts, immediately shifting her eyes to the one you’re holding. “C’mon, don’t make me beg! Let me see it!” She’s giddy as she shakes your arm, and you giggle as you dramatically remove it from its sleeve. “Trade ya?” You wink at her, before you both search the hall for some empty frames and get Jim from IT to help the two of you hang them up in your offices.
As soon as he’s finished, Savannah comes tapping on your door. “Thanks for trading. Dylan is my man! I hope he’s nice, I don’t know how I’ll feel if he’s rude..” her voice trails off, and you pat her on the shoulder. “He’ll be great. Don’t stress it! You’ll do a great job keeping him on track.” She smiles at your reassurance. “Sooo, are you going to pack your Longhorn hat?”
You gasp at her, crumpling a nearby scrap of paper and throwing it at her. “Listen, that hat is my only one that’s black, it goes with everything, and…yes, it may or may not have only been bought because of Glen. BUT, of course it’s coming. You never know what Tennessee weather will bring!” You smirk at her before flipping off the lights in your office, following Savannah down the hallway to the parking deck.
----
“Wow, it really is beautiful here.” You mutter to yourself as you climb into the shuttle taking you from the airport to the event location. The sky seemed a richer hue of blue, and the large trees shaded the vehicles the entire trip. You allowed yourself to breathe as you stepped into the large auditorium building. All the months of hard work and planning had finally paid off. Seeing it with your own eyes was a real treat that you rarely got to enjoy with this job. Hundreds of staff members were busily setting up chairs, tables and last minute details together before the talent would arrive that evening. The welcome party was going to be a blast - glow sticks, a DJ, boujee appetizers and twinkling lights. It would be the perfect way to welcome the talent and allow everyone on location to get ready for the weeks ahead.
After doing your makeup and spraying some texture spray in your hair, you take one last look in the mirror of your little cabin and smile. You felt confident in your all black outfit. Black levi jeans, an off the shoulder black long sleeve with some gold jewelry and some hoops. Your hair was curled, and the leather boots were keeping your feet warm from the winter chill outside. You plop down on the edge of your bed and take in your home away from home. Everyone had their own little log cabin, it was basically a studio set up with a queen sized bed in the middle of the room, chandelier above it and of course a bathroom and lounger with a big window. It was charming and cozy, and you couldn’t imagine how much nicer the talent’s must be if this was how lovely yours was.
One last spritz of texture spray to your hair and you were out the door, jumping on your personal golf cart to ride down to the warehouse.
“Over here! Over here!” You hear a high pitched squeal from across the gravel as you put the golf cart in park. You swivel your head to the left to find Savannah fastly approaching, one hand waving you down, the other holding her skirt from dragging across the ground. “Finally, you’re here!” She wraps an arm around you in a tight hug. You giggle as you steady your balance, hugging her back. You knew she had to be so nervous to meet the talent, because you weren’t the type to get starstruck and your own heart was hammering in your chest.
“We’ve got this! We aren’t the only ones meeting them for the first time tonight. Just remember that! I’m sure Glen will be lovely. I promise I will try to nonchalantly get Dylan to meet you tonight too. Deal?” You both pinky promise before heading inside towards the loud music.
You squint your eyes at the glowing white orbs on each high top table, not a single chair in sight other than at the bar. The DJ had many of the guests up and dancing while others socialized amongst themselves. Everyone was dressed casually, probably changing minimally after their plane rides. You and the other workers were definitely dressed up a little more, which instantly put you at ease. Feeling more put together and confident, you lead Savannah to the sign in table. Glancing around as you wait in line, you watch the other girls and guys check over their packets, taking in who their responsibility will be for the next two weeks. Reading what their pick up and drop off schedule will be like, and all the other fast facts about their assigned celebrity; allergies, preferences, etc. As soon as your packet about Dylan is in your hands, you find an empty table and start reading over it. You nonchalantly do a sweep of the room, the different colored lights illuminating everyone’s faces. Some of your favorite actors are in this room, and you couldn’t believe it. After a few moments you spot Dylan at the bar, the lavender backdrop and blue lights behind the stools accentuating his all white outfit. He runs a hand through his shaggy brown hair, mid conversation with another actor you didn’t recognize. You quickly glance down at your paper, making notes with your pen. You get through about three pages before Savannah appears in front of you, slamming her lanyard down on the table. “Did you introduce yourself yet?” She whispers, rummaging around in her bag for her lipgloss. “No, I’m letting him finish his conversation first. How’s Glen?” You ask, smirking at her. “He’s a dream. He literally made a beeline for me through the crowd to introduce himself! I have to bring him his schedule, apparently no one had it in their rooms when they got here so that’s awkward. Strike one on us.” She bites her bottom lip. You feel your eyes widen. “What?! That was supposed to have been done days ago! The girls from scheduling said they had it under control..oh well. I guess it’s a nice ice breaker for us to approach them. Wait, did you say Glen came up to you? How’d he know you were his handler?” Savannah raises a hand to cover her mouth before moving around the table top to grasp your forearm. “Girl! You know how they sent us head shots of the talent? Apparently they received one of us too! Isn’t that wild?” She giggles, taking in your reaction. “So, that means Dylan already knows I’m here probably. Great..” You let your voice trail off before closing your folder and grabbing your lanyard to place around your neck.
“Let me go say hello, then!” You flash Savannah a nervous smile before heading to the bar, Dylan’s eyes immediately drifting from the man he’s talking to over to you. He places a hand on his shoulder and says what you assume to be a quick goodbye before turning on his heel toward you. “You’re the lucky lady who's stuck with me, yeah?” He grins, extending a hand to you. His brown eyes are friendly, twinkling beneath the lights dancing around the room. “I’m Dylan, so nice to meet you!” His handshake is firm, and you take note of how strong his cologne is. “I promise to get you everywhere on time these next few weeks. It’s great to meet you!” You return his smile, moving closer to him as a crowd of people brush past the two of you toward the buffet, the DJ announcing to everyone that dinner has been set out. Dylan leans down to your ear so you can hear him better. “I’m so stoked to be here, did you have a hand in all this?” He shouts above the music, gesturing around him to all the decor in the warehouse, fake pink and magenta flowers are strung up through the rafters, flameless candles were dispersed throughout the room, you were proud of the vibe in here for sure. It was kind of like a club but classier. “It took a village for sure, but I’m really happy with how it turned out! Oh, here’s your schedule by the way-” You continue to babble on to him about the whole event and the planning that went into it, and start going through Dylan’s schedule with him. He listens intently to you, his focus a hundred percent on what you’re showing him. Out of the corner of your eye, you catch Savannah pointing you out to Glen, his eyes peering at you from beneath his black Texas Longhorns ballcap before he looks away. You feel heat rush to your cheeks as you tear your gaze away from him. You and Dylan exchange some more info, and decide to meet out front by the golf carts in another hour or so. You meander towards the back of the space, your stomach growling at the sight of all the warm food placed ahead of you. Before you can grab a plate, you hear Savannah call your name, “Hey, wait up!” You spin around, her arm locking with yours to pull you away from the buffet line. “Where are we going?” You whine, turning your head back towards the food. “The food is that way! I’m starving.” Savannah shoots you a sympathetic smile as she continues to drag you through the crowd until she sits you down at a round table in the corner of the room. “Unfortunately, that food’s not for us.” She frowns, before leaving you to disappear behind a door and reappear moments later with two foil covered plates, two large water bottles under her arm. “Savannah…what’s on those plates.” You wearily question, grabbing it from her. You both count to three together before ripping the foil cover off, revealing a hamburger, bag of chips and the tiniest cup of fruit you’d ever seen. “Guess they had to cut corners to save money somehow.” You pout, pushing the plate away from you as you grab the bag of Lays.
“Here we chose the best menus each night for them, thinking we too would get to enjoy them, but no. We have to eat like kids.” Savannah complains as she bites into her burger. “What, lost your appetite?” She frowns at your plate. “I don’t eat burgers. Actually, I can’t eat red meat at all.” You reply, shrugging your shoulders. You slump back into your chair, disappointed that you’re missing out on the all you can eat sushi bar the talent is currently enjoying right now.
Savannah inhales her food as the two of you chat about your schedules for tomorrow, trying to find overlaps. Your conversation is cut short at the sound of a male voice in front of you. “Excuse me, sorry to interrupt but, do you ladies happen to know where the restrooms are?” You both snap your gaze upward to see Glen standing in front of your table, the only celebrity in a 300 foot distance. You take in his outfit- his cap you noticed earlier, his dark black jeans, crisp white t-shirt and grey cardigan that fits him perfectly. He’s extremely handsome in person, even more so than on screen. You open your mouth to speak, but you realize nothing is coming out of your mouth. You quickly wet your lips with your tongue, eyes deferring to Savannah, since he probably came over here to ask her. She is his handler for the weekend, after all. Savannah’s mid chew on the last piece of her burger, looking at you expectantly. “Oh, uh, they’re behind the DJ’s set up, there’s a little hallway back there with the bathrooms.” You meet his gaze again, his green eyes locked onto yours before they drop to the plate in front of you. The sides of his mouth tugs up into a smirk. “Not hungry?” He points to your untouched hamburger, his watch catching the light. You take a mental note of your stomach doing backflips over this accessory, as watches have always been kind of a thing for you. A turn on, if you will. You shake your head and laugh, admitting that you can’t eat it. “I’ll be out of commission if I eat that.” Glen’s playful expression turns to one of confusion, pointing over his shoulder to the extensive spread of food behind you. “You want to trade? I didn’t see that as an option. Where’d you find that?” Savannah giggles, waving her hands in front of her as she finally speaks. “No, no, the burgers are just for us little people. You guys get to enjoy the good stuff.” She winks at him, and you nudge her beneath the table. Not exactly the best way to put it…
Glen’s eyebrows furrow slightly, head tilting to the side. “That doesn’t seem fair. Tell you what, I’ll bring you back a plate of whatever you want if I can devour that burger on your plate.” He flashes you a grin, and you’re enthusiastically nodding before you can think twice about it. “Yes, please! I’ll literally take anything you can gr-” you begin, but Savannah cuts you off. “She loves sushi, Glen.” They exchange a smile as he points to her before wading through the crowd. You turn to your coworker, mouth open in disbelief. “Umm, is Glen Powell bringing me a plate of food right now?!” You let out a tiny squeal, hitting her on the knee. She props a hand on her cheek, “I know right? Isn’t he so nice? Where the heck is Dylan?” She responds, squeezing your shoulder. “It sucks we have to act like we don’t know them. Like, at all.” She huffs, crossing her arms across her chest. “He’s over by the dessert bar, why don’t you take a quick walk by? He won’t even notice! He’s quite the social butterfly tonight.” You wink at her encouragingly, and she actually stands from her chair. “You know what, you’re right. Be right back!” She’s giddy as she weaves through the crowd, and in her wake you see Glen reappear, a plate full of sushi in tow. He sticks out his tongue, clearly proud of his selection. “Here we go, I got a little bit of everything for ya.” He presents the plate to you dramatically, flicking his wrist to emulate a waiter as he drops it on the table. “You’ve outdone yourself.” You grin, placing a hand over your heart to match his energy. “And in return…” You reach for the plate, lifting the burger to his hands. He shakes his head, instantly grabbing the burger out of its sleeve and taking a huge bite out of it. “I’m Glen, by the way.” He mumbles, his mouth full. You swallow thickly, Savannah’s reminder echoing in your head as you introduce yourself, acting as casual as possible. You lift your chopsticks and dig into your food, not having realized that Glen’s attention is on you. The two of you continue to eat in silence, hunger clearly winning here. “Guess we were hungry.” You laugh, pushing your now empty plate away from you. Glen throws his head back with a chuckle, nodding in agreement. “Guess so. It was a long travel day.”
Suddenly, you remember why he approached your table in the first place - the bathroom. “Wait, did you ever find the restrooms?” Your tone has a hint of worry in it; what were you thinking, sending him off to get you a plate of food? You were sup[posed to be serving the talent, not the other way around. You suddenly felt embarrassed, nervously tucking a strand of hair behind your ear. Glen’s mouth turns into a soft smile, his expression playful again. “Oh, I knew where the bathrooms were.” His words hang in the air as you process his tone, taking in his facial expression. Was he..flirting with you? There was no way. You were delusional. Before you can respond, he stacks his empty plate on top of yours and slides them back toward him, leaning over the table a bit to make sure you can hear him. “Nice doin’ business with you.” He shoots you a quick wink before he tosses the plates into the trash can and disappears into the crowd. You’re aware of the cheesy grin on your face that you can’t wipe off, your teeth sinking into your bottom lip as you fidget with your bracelets. Savannah soon returns, waving you toward her. “C’mon, let’s get to our carts and wait for the boys! We have an early morning tomorrow.” ANd with that, you grab both of your bags and follow her to the gravel lot outside, the exchange with Glen replaying over and over in your mind.
Dylan strides up to your golf cart right on time, his eyes glazed over. “Man, that was fun! You guys killed that. I’m dead tired though.” He raises his hand for a high five, and you happily oblige before driving him to his personal cabin. Agreeing on a wakeup time, you wait for him to get inside before driving off.
You snuggle into bed that night replaying how amazing the event space looked, relieved that Dylan was kind and, so far, not a diva. You were looking forward to getting to know him a little better and look out for him the next few weeks. And then there was Glen…you had to try and downplay tonight’s interaction. He was just being nice, his parents clearly raised him right. That’s all it was. Did he seriously wink at you? Maybe you dreamed that part. Maybe he isn’t as nice as he seems, and just a charmer. He could have a girlfriend for all you know!
“I need help.” You mutter to yourself.
You shake your head and sigh; you were here to work. You needed to be professional and short with all of the guests here. End of story. You let yourself fall asleep to the sound of the wind blowing outside your cabin window.

WIP WEDNESDAY | The Honeymooner's | Steddie | Eddie's chaotic unreliable POV
It's just supposed to be a fun week away for the two friends, but when Eddie's guilt gets a hold of him and he learns if he and Steve were on their honeymoon Steve would save 30% on the room, well things get a little carried away.
---
Okay, so yes, Eddie is very excited and very appreciative of this little boy's week-long getaway that he and Steve planned and yes he can't wait to finally spend a few days without the gremlins gnawing on his ankles or demanding for a ride to the arcade. But… but he feels guilty, very very guilty. And why, you may ask. Well, Steve's paying for the whole thing, that's why. The guy insisted upon it, saying something about how Eddie's been working so hard on getting his GED and working at Thatcher Tire and helping Steve take care of their somehow combined 7 children. That he deserved it. That, "Don't worry man, you can get me back sometime if you're so worried about it."
Steve's a good friend like that. Always has been.
Eddie's not really sure how they happened, really it seems like some weird anomaly that they can even coexist in the same space let alone willingly spend the majority of their free time together, but they do. He supposes though, one particular gremlin is to blame for the colliding of their souls. Dustin Henderson specifically. At first Eddie was jealous then when he met Steve, well, then he was kinda infatuated and it's all been downhill from there. Eddie's in love now. Hopelessly, irrevocably in love. With his straight best friend. How cliche.
How fucking cliche.
Eddie huffs to himself and tries to avoid checking out Steve's ass in his way too tight Levi's as they enter the lobby of some too nice hotel in the middle of what he thinks to be some Indiana State Park. Truthfully, he doesn't remember where they are, slept the majority of the way here since they left after work and he's exhausted, but the place is nice. Cosy almost if it weren't for its vastness. Really it resembles what he'd imagine to be a lodge. A giant log cabin if you will. Somewhere he supposes Harrington Sr. probably stays for some fancy men's hunting trip or something. Looks like the type of place that'd be a resort in the winter. Large fireplaces, overstuffed leather furniture, mounts from what he assumes to be the owners hunting trips.
In all honesty it isn't what he expected, but it's still nice and well, he's not paying for it so he's not complaining.
God he doesn't even want to think about what the room cost Steve for the week.
"Checking in under Harrington," Steve's voice pulls Eddie from the fog of his thoughts as he checks in, a young giggling couple to their left doing the same.
Trying to not grimace at the sight of the love birds, Eddie too approaches the front desk, leans against its edge and watches Steve as he signs a piece of paper and hands over his ID and credit card to the receptionist or whatever the front desk lady is called, Chrissy, he assumes if the strawberry blondes name tag is anything to go by.
Idle and waiting to get to their room and sleep in until noon tomorrow, Eddie zones out, all too focused on Steve's profile as he talks. The only thing filtering through his brain is the crushing guilt of this weekend, Steve's sharp jaw and the couple next to him talking a little too loudly to ignore as they boast about their recent wedding to their receptionist, the poor young man looking far too exhausted to give a shit. But it's then that Eddie hears that same receptionist say to the couple, "With your honeymoon package, you'll be saving 30% on your stay with us. Here are your keys … -"
It's then too, that something occurs to Eddie and his mouth runs away from him as he more or less blurts out, "Oh congratulations, we're honeymooning too."
The couple squeals and congratulates them as they scurry off to their room and Eddie has all but two seconds to process what he's just done (tried to save Steve money in the dumbest way possible) before Chrissy is doing the same, saying to he and Steve, "Congratulations! Oh my goodness that's so exciting! Well, let me do something special for your little week away then. I'll upgrade you two to the Honeymooner's Package and Mr. and Mr. Harrington," the gal winks, "you'll receive a room upgrade, 30% off of your stay and free access to so many of our great amenities."
Red in the cheeks at the idea of being married to Steve Harrington, Eddie, for the first time in a long time is speechless. What has he done? They're going to have to act like a couple now or they'll get found out and kicked out. Fuck. What the fuc-
An arm slips around Eddie's waist and squeezes, his whole body going up in flames as he goes rigid.
"Thank you," Steve says, Eddie assumes to Chrissy as he momentarily blacks out and is solely held up by the muscular arm that wraps tighter around him, fingers on his waist that have never been there before.
What the fuck?
Then there's a kiss on his cheek and Eddie has never snapped so suddenly back to reality.
Steve's eyes find Eddie's almost immediately, somehow communicating at the same time, 'Are you okay?' and 'Man, you got us into this mess, act the part.'
He really did, didn't he?
Well…
Eddie leans into Steve more intentionally, trying to ignore the desperate flutter in his chest when Steve smiles and pulls him closer, his thumb gently caressing the thin fabric at Eddie's side while they wait for Chrissy to make the changes in the system and hand them their keys.
It's all so foreign, but really it's not. They're touchy, maybe in each other's space a bit too much, sometimes to the point that one of the kids or Robin feels the need to shout at them to get a room. But it's never this. It's never long lasting lingering touches that kinda make Eddie want to cry. It's never this intimate. It's normally teasing or comforting. Sitting in each other's lap just to be a pain in the ass or squeezes to the arm when they can tell the other is stressed out. Things like that. Never coupley shit. Never this.
"Honey?" Steve's voice comes as a whisper close to Eddie's ear, sweet like honey and teasing, there's a smirk on his lips, "Wanna go check out the room?"
Chrissy giggles after handing Steve the keys and disappears behind a door leaving just the two twenty-somethings alone in the lobby. Steve's arm is still around Eddie's waist.
Eddie blinks, nods like a fucking idiot and lets out a horrible, barely there gasp when Steve's hand leaves his body only to ghost down his arm and intertwine their fingers together, pulling him along.
It's not until they're in the closed elevator that their hands separate and Eddie's able to manage words again. "What the fuck did I just do?"
Steve snorts a laugh before he shrugs, leans against the wall next to Eddie and says simply, "Made our week away a lot more interesting, that's for sure."
All Eddie can manage is a groan, knocking his head against the wall to which Steve responds, "Well that and saved me a couple hundred bucks."
—------
Things only get worse once they get to their room. Not only did they get upgraded to the Honeymooner's Package, it appears they too got upgraded to a honeymoon suite.
Jesus H Christ
Steve's cackling at the door of the room, gaudy red carpet beneath his feet as Eddie shoulders past him to get a better look. And Christ alive, it's awful. So, so awful.
For starters there's only one bed. Heart shaped in all its glory beneath a mirrored ceiling with a basket of what looks to be condoms, lube and lotions stationed artfully in its centre.
Awful.
Than, there's the bathroom that's more or less a fucking fish bowl. From where he's standing, only a few feet further into the room than Steve, Eddie can see that those glass walls provide no privacy. NONE. What the ever loving fuck!? There's a huge tub and shower and nothing more than a thick pane of glass separating them from the rest of the room.
Aw-ful.
What has he gotten himself into?

Stitches // Levi x Reader
A top a snowy mountain lay a few small cabins, each designed for separate uses just like the ones back at training camp. Although the storm was raging on, morales were high as the cadets rambled on, each telling stories to pass time. Though their superiors were watching on, they didn't bother quieting the troupe down as they figured they needed to let them be kids in this cruel world.
"SASHA, quit eating all our rations! We don't have a whole lot! We're here for a few more days" screamed a decently tall boy. Even though he wasn't the tallest of the group, he still had some fire in him. Which is why he was currently in a wrestling match with the brunette. This wasn't the first time they had gotten in quarrels over her ravenous hunger.
"Forget it Connie. Just let her finish it." Another quipped up, a boy named Jean. His palm dragging across his face with a roll of his eyes.
This is how it typically went with the 104th trainee's. They'd get along for a few minutes before hell seemed to break loose. It was a wonder Shadis, or even Erwin wouldn't decide to just forget about all of them and find better listening teens. Was it the military or a damn daycare? Levi often wondered.
He stood among the logged walls of the cabin, watching each scene unfold with sharp steel eyes, no form of amusment to be seen. Why the hell did the commander decide it was a good idea for him to be watching over them? Something about 'building trust'? What a load of bullshit in his mind. He couldn't trust them to clean properly, nonetheless to free humanity. Not just that, they were too idiotic at times to see just how horrible their existence was- not in the way most would think. Maybe the tiniest part of him hated to see how hopeful they were, sure, some of them were there when the first wall fell, and they each had seen their fair share of things, but they weren't fully tainted just yet. They were teens, just babies. It killed him to know that within any moment their joyous sparks would be smothered out, the same way a fire extinguishes without oxygen.
Now Hange on the other hand seemed to be letting loose as well, encouraging some of the arguments between Jean and Eren. To which earned hard glares from the Ackermans.
"What if we... told stories..?" Squeaked out a an angelic voice, belonging to the name of Krista Lenz, which earned a loud obnoxious laugh from Ymir. "ARE YOU KIDDING ME? STORIES? My dear Krista, you really think we'd all sit around like children? Who's going to be the one reading it to us, nonetheless making up one on the spot seeing as we have no books in the vicinity?"
This earned the girl to have her face flush with red out of embarrassment. For someone who couldn't leave her alone, Ymir definitely wasn't the nicest at times.
"OH, I know! Levi! Why don't you get involved? Tell us a memory of yours, huh? At least make it this once, you mysterious hunk of meat!" Chortled Hange, her hand colliding into Levi's shoulder which made a loud smack that reviberated across the room causing everyone to stop dead in their tracks, faces filled with horror.
The wind blowing outside that caused the windows to occasionally shake was all that could be heard, as utter silence fell upon them, various gazes directing to the short Captain as they awaited to hear his booming voice or possibly to watch him beat the living shit out of the section commander for even laying a finger on him, but nothing. No one dared to make a move, until a soft sigh left his parted lips. "Very well." Shock soon became present, even from the mad scientist, although she was mainly joking around she didn't quite expect him to actually agree. Yet she definitely wasn't going to pass this opportunity down as she had never heard anything from the man before her. He was mysterious, closed off-
"If I share my background as a story, then I expect you all to tune up on your disgusting cleaning habits. Even you, shitty glasses."
Without any thoughts, feet scrambled causing the floors to creek, earning an even bigger sigh of annoyance from Levi.
"My tale starts with Y/n Gibbs."
"Squad Leader Gibbs?!"
Inquired Armin.
"Yes, now can all of you shut the fuck up and let me get this over with?" Levi grumbled with arms crossed, as he peered down at all the sitting cadets (and Hange) who all seemed to be way too excited.
God, he really was becoming some form of a father figure it would seem, not that he knew what that was really like. But that didn't matter, he knew you would be glad he'd be sharing this part of him, and he'd be sure to tell you when they all got back from the freezing mountain point.

summer character ref!
i realized i never made a character ref for my self insert/oc so here it is <3 she’s a part of the aot universe :3
more information about them under the read more, if you're interested! (it's long i am SORRY)
summary: born in the shiganshina district and part of the 104th cadet corps. they join the survey corps, and ultimately become a part of the special operations squad (squad levi). with a bit of naivety to them, they start off very hopeful for the future of paradis.
as she joins the survey corps, she is in charge of creating maps used for formations and battle strategies. there are also times where she helps in designing equipment, such as the executioner from hell (that large log device used to kill titans) and the new odm gear.
unfortunately, the pressure of dealing with titans on a regular basis, as well as the stressors from her personal life, start to plant a seed of uncertainty in her.
after sasha’s death, she loses a lot of meaningful connections with her friends. she begins to isolate herself and displays behaviors that are abnormal for her, such as excessive fear and panic.
additionally, she loses her ability to maintain a healthy day to day life. no one knows what’s going on- she’s met with resistance towards her “odd” behaviors.
it all becomes too much. since she's unable to “quit”, she runs away, living beyond the walls in a small cabin. she spends her days maintaining her land and learning how to become a fishmonger. her mental health improves slightly, but never really recovers.
occasionally they make trips into marley to sell their fish, forging documents that allow them into the nation. human interaction for them becomes far and few in between, usually only when they visit marley.
her visits to marley really open her eyes; seeing the worst of society. all the blame that’s put on her people, all the injustice, the misinformation.
at first, she takes a neutral stance on the rumbling. ultimately though, she realizes that the rumbling is inhumane and needs to be stopped, so she helps out in the end. she doesn’t fight directly, rather provides support on falco’s jaw titan with levi and gabi.
combat/skills: truthfully, she is not an expert in using her odm gear, being one of the lowest performing students in her cadet days. for some reason, she is unable to get the complexities of the odm gear down, but manages well enough not to get chomped up.
for summer, she is relied upon more for her ability to create diagrams and maps that the survey corps would use, mainly for battle tactics and navigation. she was in charge of making maps for different squads, spending long nights carefully curating each drawing.
personality: summer has an innate curiosity and unique appreciation for the world. she feels a deep connection to nature, the stars, and the moon. she can also be very creative and has a profound love for art, especially paintings and sculptures.
when it comes to interacting with others, she is very shy and withdrawn, opting to avoid individuals rather than approach them. unfortunately, she doesn’t trust easily, making it hard for her to form deep connections with others. nonetheless, she tries her best to be respectful and understanding.
she wants to be an optimist, but has had her hope taken many times, leading her to become increasingly pessimistic as time goes on. her world view can be very negative at times, especially during her visits to marley. but through it all, her love for the world never dissipates. to her, there is always something to find joy in.
appearance: her features are very round and soft. her eyes are an amber color, while her hair is an orange/redhead color. it’s styled to be in a wavy bob with bangs on the left side of her face.
summer is short in stature, no more than 5 feet tall. she has a very flat/emotionless expression most of the time, even when expressing intense emotion. she also has a hard time maintaining eye contact.
relationships: romantically involved with eren. they have known each other since they were children. as kids, they argued a lot, since summer and eren had similar personalities- the two of them being hotheads.
however, as they get older, their passion for the world brings them together. summer has a slight crush on eren during her cadet days, silently pining over him for years. after many awkward smiles and shy glances, eren drunkenly admits his feelings to summer at the party in marley, leading them to start dating.
while summer is living in the cabin, she doesn’t see eren much. when eren becomes a wanted man, he randomly surprises summer with visits that can last a few days. unfortunately he can’t stay for long, otherwise he risks the livelihood of both of them. the two of them simply appreciate the time they have together.
when eren starts the rumbling, they are still together, but summer completely disapproves of his actions, leaving their relationship in limbo (not that it’s that important at that point anyway.) she eventually decides she can’t let him go on with the rumbling and aids in his death.
best friends with sasha. they met in the 104th cadet corps, and instantly became friends after sasha’s potato mishap. sasha and summer’s personalities mesh together perfectly. they stay close friends until sasha’s death, which becomes one of the breaking points for summer.
friends with jean and connie. she’s not as close to them as she is with sasha, but she trusts them greatly and gets along with them very well. connie, sasha, and summer goof off a lot, while jean has to scramble to get everybody back on track. ultimately, the four of them have a solid bond.
aquaintances with mikasa and armin. despite interacting with them since she was a child, she doesn’t know them extremely well. but she gets along with them just fine. she appreciates the level of care they have for eren.
mentored by levi. the two of them have a unique level of trust with each other. levi is familiar with summer’s outbursts and panics, and is able to calm her down alot, especially during battle. summer deeply trusts levi and looks to him for advice and navigating through life. a few sarcastic remarks from levi is all summer needs to push herself forward, or see things from a new perspective.
likes: mystery, thinking deeply, art, the moon and stars.
dislikes: loud noises, being alone, mirrors, and eye contact.
#ok uhh i didnt expect to write that much but lol#also i changed her hair!! i felt like this was much more natural so :>#attack on titan#aot#shingeki no kyojin#snk#art.exe#ocs#self insert#star divider by saradika

If you haven't answered this for all or some of them yet: What is their Chapter 7 Dream? And how do they wake?
Related to this post! I'm only doing the students, because Rajesh isn't going to be there for that, and Aadesh is def getting ousted before Ch 7
Anyone who's been to the Airborne Afternoon will recognize the streets they find themselves in. Cherry Blossoms turn the gutters of every street pink with springtime. They'll find him and a Woman they've never met, but can assume who she is, chatting alongside him. He'll casually greet everyone come to save him, and introduce them all to his Mother.
With how simple and casual his dream is, the chance gets taken to equally give the revelation a similar treatment. "I know," he'll say. "Just...give me a few more moments to get it out of my system..."
For Eu, their dream is more or less what is shown in the start of Ch 7, which opens up the chapter to the rest.
Upon landing in Tidus' dream, one would find themselves...in the desert? The sound of metal hitting dirt can be heard a ways off; an excavation site. Venturing down down down at the direction of the other diggers, one will find Tidus, sweat-slick and slamming rock away. all around are lanterns, scrolls and miscellaneous findings from the dig along the way. With one last crumble of stone, something gives way under Tidus' strength. A hole, square and just big enough for him to fit through, reveals the discovery of a lifetime.
How he wakes is, funny enough, from being quizzed on human culture...and he gets things wrong.
The first thing noticed is the noise. And then the explosion of color. Center stage, Laz is crooning away with the latest in tech, but also with an acoustic guitar. Even a dream version of Idia is there.
His waking moment comes when Idia more or less puts himself on the loudspeaker to tell him outright; and to look at the Dream Version and ask himself 'is that really me?'
Finally free of the bonds that keep him and his family in guardian servitude, Levi can be found in the Coral Sea High Court. instead of enforcing order and guarding the Royals, he makes the laws and listens to the will of the People.
His waking moment will come when Azul crops up, he'll have to decide on letting others handle taking him in, or realize he's trained all his life to be the one to defend people, be their guardian.
Galen's dream has one land out in the woods. Log cabin, plenty of rations smoking and drying, with plenty of materials to make any number of things. interestingly enough, finding him shows he's finally shirked his gloves. He even offers the party a welcome handshake, as if it's been so long he forgot who anybody visiting him was.
The Party are going to have to stage an event where, over the course of a poker game started with a friendly, gloveless handshake, his opponent will be 'met' with a horrible case of luck, resulting in someone holding them up at weapon-point.

Phillip Henninger House Historic Site
5757 Broadview Rd.
Parma, OH
The Phillip Henninger House, an early settler's home, built in sandstone by Phillip Henninger for his family is a historical landmark in Parma, Ohio, located at 5757 Broadview Road (State Route 176). Located at the busy intersection of Snow Road and Broadview Road in Parma, the Henninger Homestead, the oldest house in Parma, is hard to miss. It stands out from all of the businesses in the area, not just because of its green lawn and neatly trimmed shrubbery, but because they don’t build houses like these anymore. The Henningers, Philip and his wife Sofia, immigrated from Germany to the United States in 1830. They settled in the newly incorporated township of Parma. First building a log cabin on their 100 acres of land along what is now Snow Road to the north, Broadview to the west, and Old Rockside Road to the south, they quickly had a number of children and outgrew their initial home.
In order to create a home big enough for himself, his wife, and their ten children, Philip began to quarry stone from his land, using it to build the two-story, Greek Revival style house in 1849. He built the home on the footprint of the original log cabin, keeping his 1830s barn intact as his tinsmith workshop. The main part of the house is constructed of sandstone blocks. The basement area, which also provides the foundation for the home, has blocks that are 30 inches thick. The remaining exterior of the home has 14-inch thick walls. All of the blocks were cut by hand, as evidenced by the toolmarks that remain visible. As expect of a family with a patriarch who played a role in local government and spent five years as a Township Trustee, the Henningers’ legacy is more than just a stone house. Philips son, Henry, was described as “one of the most prosperous farmers in Parma” at the time. He also spent 12 years working as a Justice of Peace.
Going one generation into the future, Philip Henninger’s grandson, William, opened the Henninger and Decker Hardware Store in 1906. He and his business partner ran the store, which was located at the intersection of Krather and Pearl Roads for decades. The store was well-known for its high quality merchandise, and even provided large steam pans, gutters, and other necessities to the builders of the Schaaf Road greenhouses. Members of the Henninger family lived in the house until 1988. The house sat empty for over a decade, despite a 1994 tax levy brought about by the city of Parma designed to save it. The levy failed, but those who saw the history of the house refused to give up. Thankfully, in 2001, it became part of a Quarry Creek Historic District, allowing it to be saved by the Trust for Public Land in 2003. It was listed with the National Register of Historic Places August 28, 2003. Today, the West Creek Conservancy owns the house, and is dedicated to preserving it for future generations.

Two Lonely People
a you shouldn’t be lifting things.” Eren scolded her, snatching the piles of wood from her hands, and shoving them haphazardly at Y/N, who happened to be standing behind him at the time. “ You’re still recovering.”
He was right, she was still recovering. But so was Y/N, who almost got bitten in half by a Titan, sacrificing herself to save Eren’s ass. She always sacrificed hersef for him, and it was a habit that none of the other cadets could quite understand, even after they found he could shift into a titan. She had been thrown from a horse and hit her head, been nearly squeezed to death and almost got stepped on. All to save Eren, who still either hadn’t acknowledged it or even noticed.
She was managing just fine, until Eren haphazardly bumped her, and rammed her elbows into her sided. Y/N, grunted and fell backwards landed on her but with a thud. She bit her lip, trying not to let out a pained squeal. The wood clattered to the floor, followed by Armin who dropped to his knees to help pick up the wood logs that Y/N managed to drop.
“ Careful Y/N, we’re running low on resources!” Armin chided her like a mother.
“ Right sorry.”
But a mother would notice that she was hurt, and noticed just how much pain she was in. Armin quickly stood up and placed the wood on the counter before chiding Mikasa, who seemed completely fine, for overworking herself.
It was nearing noon, in the little cabin that the brand new Levi Squad had found and made themselves a home. Eren spent most mornings training his titan form and caring for Mikasa, who was too busy caring for Eren to be cared for. There was a nearby stream and wood, that was so loud it made the world seem quiet. Hange and her squad were doing secret scouting missions, and Levi spent the better parts of his day in solitude, Y/N could only imagine brooding and thinking of profound things to get mad at.
It was nearing Lunch, which meant Levi would be coming back for his daily inspection, and the house was anything but clean. Even by Erens standards, and Eren was hounding people to keep cleaning.
Eren started to drag Mikasa back to her room so she could rest, and nearly tripped over Y/N, who couldn’t find it in her to stand up yet. There was a dull ache in her chest and a burning sensation in her stomach. His eyes fell down at her, he looked disgusted with the sight of her.
“ What are you doing?” he asked. His mouth formed into a thin line like he ran out of patience. “ Why are you on the floor?”
“ I-”
“ Mikasa has been pulling her weight and she probably broke her ribs. All you’ve been doing is sitting on your ass doing absolutely nothing with that pathetic look on your face, and I’m getting tired of looking at it.”
The door creaked open, and in came Sasha, Jean and Connie who were carrying food rations. Sasha more than her fair share, and her and Connie were arguing about it. Jean had been ignoring them for the last 3 minutes and didn’t plan on listening in now,
“Eren I-” she started to say. She would normally slap that smug look off his face, but she couldn’t find the energy to fight anymore.
“ Don’t “Eren” me. How about you get off your lazy ass, and clean like your actually worth something.”
The room was silent, even Connie and Sasha managed to stop arguing. Eren could command a room when he wanted to, and right now he was radiating a rage that made the air fall silent and his blood to run cold.
A hand went to Y/N’s mouth, but the sudden movement caused a shooting pain to stab her through her side and she gasped slightly. Eren looked down at her one last time and shook his head and scoffed, he turned on his heels and walked away. Armin trailing after him like an abandoned dog, calling after him.
Y/N sat there on a ground, unable to look up. He was right. She was worth absolutely nothing compared to Mikasa. Mikasa was beautiful in ever single was a person could be. Her hair was dark and beautiful and her eyes told a story that anyone would want to sit down and listen to.
Y/N eyes only held sadness and a deep longing to be wanted and loved the way she loved Eren. Y/N wanted the kind of loyalty she showed Armin. Eren was right, she was worth nothing, she would never be as pretty, or a skilled, and even if he noticed her, which he never did, he would never look at her the way she looked at Mikasa, and that made her feel like a broken teacup that nobody wanted.
Eren didn’t even notice, that was hurt. Y/N was sure that Mikasa did, but made no effort to extend her a helping hand, and Armin either didn’t care of didn’t notice, and she couldn’t tell what option would hurt more.
“ I am worth something.” she whispered quietly to herself, like it was a lie she was trying to convince herself of.
Everything hurt, her stomach hurt, and her chest felt like it was stepped on by a 16 meter titan, she couldn’t breathe and the room felt suffocating, she was suffocating.
She tried to get up before falling back down again, this time making no effort to how much pain she was in. She groaned loudly and clutched her stomach, and fell flat on her back. She started to cry, something she hadn’t let herself do in years.
Connie walked over to her, and fell to her knees, he tried to touch her hair but she pulled away.
“ Y/N.”
“ Just give me a second.” she spoke through ears, trying to wipe her tears. “ Just give me a second, and I can clean up.”
Connie remebered that she was hurt, and he wasn’t even there when she got thrown from the horse, and nearly stepped on. Connie was a friend could notice when something was wrong, and something was horribly wrong.
“ Y/N calm down.” Connie said again.
She was anything but calm, and was struggling to breathe properly and holding her stomach, hoping in all the commotion she hadn’t torn her stitches.
“ I’m worth something.” she whispered to herself over and over again, like she was trying to believe it herself.
The door snapped open so hard it bounced off the wall, followed by harsh footsteps from Captain Levi, who didn’t notice Y/N either, just walked over to the table and ran his fingers along the underside of it.
“ You call this clean?” he asked, he took another step forewards and tripped over Y/N, who heard Levi come in and clamped over her mouth to stop crying, which hardly worked, because all you could hear wear muffled groans.
“ What the hell-” he looked down, and saw Y/N, with a pathetic glint in her eye, trying her best not to spontaneously combust. ‘ What are you doing on the floor?”
“ I fell.” she whispered. “ I’m sorry.”
He looked at her made a small disapproving noise and motioned for Connie to help her get back up, and take her back to bed where she she should be lying down. Even the captain, who looked completely disinterested on a good day, knew that she was hurt, and made a effort to care for her. Something that her friend, Eren , who she considered a best friend didn’t. And that made her more upset then ever, she covered her face with her hands to stave off the embarrassment, but it was too late.
She was already bleeding, and was pretty sure she tore her stitches, and in a shit ton of pain, and wanted nothing more to be held. Connie whispered something about it all being okay, but Y/N couldn’t hear it over the sound of her own heartbeat, which was deafing.
Jean stopped Connie and nodded at him, and Connie pretended to sweep again to calm the Captain who looked less than amused at the mess in the kitchen.
“ I’m sorry.” Jean whispered. He pulled Y/N up by the arm and helped her stood up, her body felt like jello, and it became very clear that she had no intention of walking anywhere with anybody. “ I know it hurts, but it’ll all be over and a few minutes.”
He scooped her up from under her knees and carried her towards the back door. She grunted, Why was he taking her outside, she wanted nothing more than to crawl and bed and die. That was all she was worth after all.
“ I wanna go to bed.” she whined.
“ Just trust me will ya?” he asked sweetly.
Jean was a cocky boy and would do anything to prove that he was right or better than someone. Expecially Eren, who had a excissevley slapable face. He was a better man than Eren by a mile.
He carried her through the forest, to a small stream and loud waterfall. The sound made her want to cover her ears, but she quickly grew accustomed to it. She liked it, it was so loud that she couldn’t even hear her own thoughts. Jean sat her down on a rock by the stream and she stared at her reflection, so engulfed with the woman that she had grown into, she didn’t even notice Jean re-wrapping the bandage on her arm.
“ I think I tore my stitches.” she whispered.
“ You didn’t I checked.” he muttered.
They were so close he could hear her over the waterfall, and his nose was tickling her ear.
“ You were supposed to be taking it easy.” he said.
“ I wanted to be helpful.” she whimpered, she winced slightly.
“ Are you in pain?” he asked, knowing that she was in a world of pain, but asking in the vain hope that she wasn’t.
“ Am I worth something?” she asked.
“ I think so.” he said. He finished wrapping her bandages. “ I think so at least.”
“ I’ve done everything for him.” she stared at the sun, hoping it would blind her.” I’ve given up my entire life for him, ever since we were kids I’ve given up stuff just to make him happy and he doesn’t even care.”
“ I get it.” he laughs. “ Boy do I get it.”
Y/N snapped her head in his direction, and looked at him. What could he know anything about not being a choice at all. He knew nothing of betrayal and being ignored and he knows nothing about the gut wrenching feeling that the person you’ve built your life around hates you.
“ Mikasa.” he laughs.
“ The other woman.” Y/N replied. “ The other goddamn woman.”
“ I think I’ve loved her since the day that I’ve met her and I almost died for her and she is still obsessed with that self obsessed suicidal maniac who can’t dig his head out of his ass long enough to even notice what a great girl he has.” he stared at his refection and then looked away, he hated the way that she made him feel. Like a empty shell undeserving of love. “ Sorry, that was uncalled for.” Eren was alot of things, and a man in everyway Jean felt he wasn’t.
“ Why did you bring me here?” she asked. She became used to the sound of the waterfall echoing around her, and the sound quickly became soothing.
“ Its the best place to yell at god. And I felt like yelling.” He looked at the cloudless sky and there was nothing to block the blinding light of the sun. But he didn’t mind the fact that it blinded him, and he had alot to say at god.” Screw you god.” he whispered.
“ You call that a yell?”
He wanted to yell but didn’t have it in him anymore. He was so beat down and all his energy was drained from loving someone who took and took without so much as as a thankyou.
“ I have nothing to say to god.”
Y/N stared at her reflection and Jean stared at the empty forest. The yellow sun bounced off his head and made his face seem like he was glowing. His big brown eyes told Y/N he was a good guy if not hidden. But Y/N knew everything about hiding. She spent her whole life hiding.
Jean sighed loudly and forced himself to sit up straight.
“ Eren of all people has no right to determine your worth.” Jean spoke. “ Eren doesn’t deserve your love.” he whispered. Her expression turned into a wince at the word. “ You do love him right?”
“ I don’t even know what love means.” she replied. She stuck her hand in the chilled water, causing the surface to ripple slightly. “ Do you?”
“ I think love means loyalty, and sacrifice, and respect and trust.” he speaks. “ That’‘s what my mother told me.”
“ Mikasa doesn’t deserve your loyalty.” she whispered.
She jerked her hand out of the water. She hated the cold feeling on her fingertips and longed for warmth. Y/N didn’t think that she deserved to feel warm so she stuck her hand back in.
“Eren doesn’t deserve your trust.” Jean said back. He faced her and watched her expression turned into one of mourning, she bit her lip and sniffled.
“ I wish he did. God I he wish he did.” she muttered. She laughed to herself. “ To be honest I wouldn’t trust Eren to milk a cow if I handed him a bucket.”
Jean smiled a little bit. Eren was a piece of shit who didn’t deserve the attention of any girl let alone, one of the only people that he cared for in this miserable crappy world. On missions his mind would often wander to “ Why was he still fighting?” His father abandoned him when he was a child, and his mother was bound to die any day now, he was just waiting for the letter to know that she finally kicked the bucket. But he thought of his friends, the ones that would die for him, so he kept fighting, Because they deserved a better world to live in.
“ Mikasa is about as loyal to a paper bag to anyone except Eren, even Armin.” Y/N said. “ Don’t give her your loyalty she doesn't deserve it. She hasn’t earned it, not from you.”
“ I don’t deserve much.” he laughed.
She turned towards him and touched his thigh and squeezed it. He deserved the world if only he wanted to accept it.
“ You deserve a lot.” she whispered. He looked at her, his big brown eyes were so sweet it made her feel like she had to look away. The feeling of looking at anyone else but Eren made her chest feel on fire.
He took his finger and lifted her chin, and placed his lips on hers. She didn’t pull away and the feeling of him felt better than the feeling of being ignored and she didn’t mind it. Jean was warm and sweet and no matter how hard he tried to deny it painfully sensitive and empathetic.
Everything that she wanted, and everything that she needed.
He pulled away very suddenly as if he realized what he was doing or someone lit his hair on fire. The sun shone through the trees and spread warmth along the back of his neck.
“ I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have-” he turned away.
“ I think I trust you.” she cut him off.
He stopped slouching and sat upright. He turned and looked at her, the idea of anyone but Mikasa felt completely forgin to him, he never even considered it an option.
“ I respect you.” he said. He grabbed her hand that was still placed on his thigh and squeezed it. It was cold bu he didn’t care. “ And I trust you.”
He took his other hand and stroked the side of her face, his hands felt warm and welcoming and she wanted nothing more than to be welcomed.
“What does this mean?” he asked.
“ I’m willing to figure it out.” she whispered. “ I don’t mind... the feeling of this.” she added. She looked foreward into the empty abyss of the pond.
So there they sat, holding hands, desperately hoping that someone would love them the way that they loved other people, not realizing that they weren’t accepting the love that was right next to them all along.

You snuggled under the blankets on the sofa before looking outside at the snow coming down. "Pretty."
Levi walked over with a tray. "It is, isn't it?"
You gazed at Levi and felt your cheeks burning at how handsome he looked in his turtleneck jumper. "Handsome."
Levi looked down at you. "Thank you." He placed the tray on the coffee table. "You're beautiful as always." He sat down and handed out the hot chocolate with the works. "Here you go."
You hugged the cup with your hands. "Mm, warm."
Levi snuggled closer to you. He wrapped an arm around you and found himself smiling when you wrapped the blanket around him. Levi gripped your thigh and hummed happily as he sipped his hot chocolate. He hummed a laugh when you kissed his neck.
He looked over at you. "Do you want to watch a movie?"
You picked up the remote and searched for something to watch. "I'm thinking of a nice classic movie." You searched through a few things and finally settled on a movie. "This okay?"
Levi kissed the side of your head. "Perfect, thank you."
You snuggled close to Levi as you enjoyed the movie. When you'd finished with your drink Levi placed it on the coffee table. He wrapped his arms around you and held you tightly against him. He kissed your forehead a few times.
Levi shifted on the sofa and leaned against the arm. He pulled you to lie in his arms and put the blanket over you. He played with your hair and hummed a little song to you as you watched the movie. He stopped watching the movie and instead looked down at you and admired your beauty.
You looked up at Levi and smiled softly at him. "Do you want a kiss?"
He blushed. "How did you know?"
"I can tell by the way you look at me." You leaned up and kissed him softly. "Love you."
He purred at you. "Love you too."
You showered his face in kisses making him hum in happiness. "You're so sweet."
Levi squeezed you tightly. "So many kisses."
"You like them."
He blushed. "I do."
You shifted up his body and kissed him. "You're so sweet."
He hugged you tightly and sighed happily. He closed his eyes and massaged his fingers in your hair. "I could fall asleep like this."
You snuggled against his chest. "Me too."
Levi smiled softly. "This is truly perfect."
You moaned. "It is."
"I can't wait to get married to you."
You kissed his chest. "I can't either."

Hello lovey! I’ve got a ✨MOOD BOARD✨ request (and it’s not Jake 👀)
Professor Jonathan Levy x reader (I’m thinking sugar daddy/ dom vibes but also domesticated? Idk if this will make any sense) Jonathan and reader having rented out a lovely log cabin middle of nowhere but it’s captivating! reader is requesting a very soft domestic day full of sweet soft sex, baking yummy sweets, baths, him reading to her, and nostalgic blanket forts by their fireplace 💕
“Beautiful, isn’t it?”
The scenery is more than beautiful; you silently think to yourself. Gorgeous, calming, peaceful, tranquil, serene... no word in the English language was quite enough to describe it.
Just like there isn’t a word to describe how happy Jonathan has made you by surprising you with a long weekend away from reality.
“I can’t believe we’re staying at this place for the next couple of days,” you reply, gesturing to the rustic cabin behind you. “It’s beautiful, baby. I love it— I love you.”
With a heartwarming smile, Jonathan wraps an around your waist, his graying beard tickling you as he presses a soft kiss to your warm lips. He pulls away shortly after, slightly out of breath, but his hold on you remains firm. “How about we celebrate our little getaway back inside, hmm?”
You’re eager to nod in agreement. Although you wanted to enjoy a glass of wine out on the deck, savoring the crispness of the open air, there’d be time to do all of that and more later. You don’t like to keep Jonathan waiting.

Mine Forever
Summary: Petra has a question for Levi.
Pairing: Levi Ackerman x Petra Ral | Rivetra
Notes: This is for Rei's "Happy Birthday Levi" event
Taglist: @lunar-rainclouds @captain-natey @1wholeheartedly-nii @levi-supreme
“I’ll admit,” Levi remarked thoughtfully, her watchful eyes following the snowfall beyond the window, “coming here wasn’t a bad call.”
Beyond the windows, the pines were blanketed by thick snow and the sky shone pink in the late afternoon sunset. The sounds of the wind were dying down at last and the thick logs of the cabin walls kept most of the chill out. Any that made it inside was swallowed up by the flames that danced in the fireplace. A small mirror occupied the centre of the mantlepiece, reflecting the image of the couple on the sofa, arms wrapped around each other’s shoulders, hands rubbing at each other’s chests.
Petra smiled, leaning her face into her lover’s temple, nosing Levi’s silky, dark hair. “Told you we’d be warm enough,” she murmured, kissing her cheek. “And your paperwork will keep until Wednesday.”
“I’m not thinking about that,” Levi answered, lifting her hand from Petra’s heart to move some stray ginger hairs away from her face.
“You’re always thinking about that,” Petra teased, her hand taking hold of her girlfriend’s wrist and bringing it to her lips.
A smirk played on Levi’s lips as she nudged Petra’s chin with her fingers. “Not right now,” she whispered, her hand cupping Petra’s cheek as she leaned in to kiss her lips. It was a short kiss, leaving a warm, sweet tingle once it was over, their noses still bumping gently.
Between the warmth of the fire and Levi’s touch, Petra’s face had flushed beautifully. So Levi kissed her again, deeper and longer. She felt her lover melt into this kiss, leaning into Levi’s chest and tilting her head up, allowing Levi to cup her cheek more fully, her thumb brushing her jaw.
It had taken a great deal of persuasion to get the captain to agree to actually use some of her leave especially during the winter. It was just enough time away for a break; a couple of days in the heart of Wall Rose’s countryside. Away from “shitty crowds”, Levi had commented with quiet approval when she and Petra had arrived and set their horses up in the stable next door. Now, a couple of hours had passed and the aches from long hours of riding had disappeared along with winter’s chill.
Petra’s hands explored her girlfriend’s shoulders, rubbing out any remaining tension from them while they kissed. Levi relaxed into her arms, making her insides flush with pride that she could do this, make her captain feel good.
They broke away from the kiss to breathe and Levi nuzzled Petra’s cheek, her breath blowing hot against it. “You’re so beautiful,” she told her, pressing her lips there. “So gorgeous,” she added along with another kiss.
Trembling under her touch, Petra’s hands moved to rub at Levi’s waist as her lips found her lover’s again, briefly. “You’re the exquisite one,” she argued between kisses.
Levi shook her head gently as she pulled back an inch or so. “You’re not gonna win this debate,” she assured Petra, kissing her over and over, leaning forward, chest pressing Petra down until she lay beneath her, limbs entwined. Pale fingers skimmed down Petra’s side and thigh, making the younger woman sigh into the kisses. The glow from the fire transformed the smaller woman’s hair into gold. Levi stared at her in captivated adoration for many seconds, causing Petra’s smile to turn bashful.
“Captain.”
Levi blinked and moved in for another kiss, this time deepening it.
Petra’s arms wrapped around her, as love flooded through her all over again, hitting her chest like a pillow; soft but it still took her breath away. The fading light of sunset framed Levi like heavenly rays and Petra’s breath caught in her throat. Words, usually her friend, failed to come and so she reached up to cup her lover’s face.
She was so lucky, Petra knew well enough, to have these days with Levi, to hold her like this. To be wrapped up in their own world for a while. A haven away from the cruelty of the world. There were so many reasons to be afraid, to be cautious of pursuing happiness when you were a Scout and your life was in significantly more peril. But that only made it all the more important to do what you wanted, while you could.
I can’t wait.
All her thoughts of the perfect setting, the ideal time and the best build up, vanished from Petra’s mind as she gazed up lovingly at her captain, her lover, her friend.
“I love you,” she breathed, stroking the shadows under Levi’s eyes. “I love you, captain.”
Levi’s eyes carried a myriad of emotions as she gazed down at Petra who could read the same uncertainty, amazement, love and disbelief that radiated from them. They lingered there for just a moment before she lowered her forehead to Petra’s, her eyes closing. “Love you too,” she breathed. “Fuck, I love you.” Her hands rubbed up and down Petra’s sides as she leaned in for yet another ,kiss which Petra happily returned.
“Marry me then,” Petra whispered.
Everything stilled at once. The flames seemed to freeze; silence fell over the room except for the thumping of Petra’s increasingly nervous heart.
Above her, Levi’s eyes were rounder than she’d ever seen them. The blue in the grey was particularly prominent in the firelight and her jaw had dropped just a little. Petra might even have called her adorable if she wasn’t so invested in the raven-haired woman’s response.
The silence continued and anxiety crept into Petra’s chest. Her brain tried to force it down. It’s a big question. Give her time.
“Are you serious?” Levi whispered. “You really want that with me?” The confusion was painted so vividly on her face that Petra’s heart hurt to see it.
Is it really so unthinkable that I should love you and want to make this commitment to you?
“Yes,” Petra cupped her girlfriend’s face, fingers caressing them, holding her gaze as her own filled with all the love, the adoration and patience that she could summon. “Yes,” she said with more emphasis. “Why wouldn’t I? I love you. I’ve always wanted to marry someone I love and… Captain, that’s you.”
Levi watched her face thoughtfully, pursing her lips. Her cheeks grew pinker but it was difficult to tell if the warmth there was down to her blushing or the heat of the fire. “I didn’t- I haven’t really- I’ve never cared about all that official shit. It’s really just a fancy document.”
It took some serious effort for Petra to bite back her disappointment. So that’s a no? She doesn’t believe in marriage then? Even though there was always the possibility that Levi might refuse, Petra had allowed herself that dangerous emotion, had let it bloom inside her and lead her imagination lead her off down mesmerizing trails full of images of their wedding: saying their vows, kissing Levi for the first time and retiring into each other’s arms that night. But those images were fading now.
“You can say no,” Petra whispered, shame filling her cheeks and, regrettably, her voice. “It was just an idea.”
“No.” Levi’s hand moved to cup Petra’s cheek and Petra’s chest sank at once as she lowered her forehead to Petra’s, their noses bumping gently. Levi’s face contorted into a painful grimace. “No! That’s not-” she bowed her head a little. “I’m not saying no to that. I’m-” She released an annoyed huff. “I just never thought anyone would want that with me. I’m not exactly marriage material.”
Petra’s chest unclenched and some of the tension that had swept through her muscles began to ease off. She continued to stroke her captain’s cheek. “What is marriage material?” she whispered, lip shifting into a tiny smile. “Do you love me?”
Levi’s lips touched hers without hesitation. “I do love you. More than anything. This isn’t about- never doubt that, please.” Petra could hear some anxiety there.
“I don’t. I just think maybe you’re over-thinking what marriage material means. All I need is for you to love me and for us to look after each other.” Petra moved one hand to cup the back of Levi’s neck. “That’s literally all I want from you.”
“It’s really that simple to you?”
“Yeah. But I know marriage isn’t something everyone wants,” Petra told her. Levi’s insistence that this wasn’t a rejection hadn’t completely settled the growing feeling in Petra’s chest; that she was beginning to wish that she’d just left the whole matter alone now. That she hadn’t potentially ruined their little break. “So please don’t feel-”
“It’s not— I don’t feel obliged,” Levi assured her with another kiss. “I love you. I just want you to be sure. That you want me for that long.”
“Levi… I want you forever,” Petra promised, arms looping around her neck. “Just you.” Propping herself up on her elbows, she met her lover in a kiss.
Levi returned it, drawing it out with a gentle increase of pressure, her hands moving to squeeze Petra’s waist. “Ask me again,” she murmured.
Petra bit her lip with a smile, her hands returning to cup Levi’s cheeks. She took a deep breath and pecked her lover’s lips. “Marry me,” she whispered then kissed her again. “Marry me.” Another kiss. “Marry me.” This time she giggled quietly into the kiss. “Marry me.”
A smile began to spread over Levi’s face between the kisses and multiple proposals. Petra swore she heard a small huff of laughter before her lover finally answered.
“Yes.”

One Last Time
Levi Ackerman x Reader
Labels: Romance, angst, drama, mentions of suicide, blood, children involvement, pregnancy and death.
Warning: Some manga spoilers. Change of storyline for adaptive purposes.
Song of choice: Saturn by Sleeping at Last
As the sun went down so did his body, sitting down on the log with a perfect view to a hidden lake between enclosed tall trees. Rising up from the mountain, the moon made its way into the night sky.
Levi couldn’t stop himself to stare at the moon. He couldn’t stop breathing the air, feeling it hit his lungs with small fights. He couldn’t stop from repeating the same images in his head.
His squads death made him realize that death was always near. He knew that no matter how much he ran away from it, it was always going to catch up to him.
Mike’s death shook him slightly. He knew this man for his whole years of being in the Scouts, and consider him someone close to him.
Erwin’s death threw him in a verge of loosing himself, almost to the point of ending things. And yet... he found himself weak to the thought. He couldn’t do it, it was someone else’s job to kill him and end his agony. Even when Hange stood there with him and helped him realize that he wasn’t that alone, her sudden sacrifice pushed him into an unknown feeling.
And so he sat there, amaze by the scenery; amazed by the simple thought that he was still... living.
Without a care in the world, Levi closed his eyes and emerge into the swing of the wind. Hitting him softly on the face and pushing his hair back, he indulge in a new feeling he couldn’t describe before.
He was delighted.
He was enlighten.
Yet, he hated that. Everybody else died, leaving him alone to understand himself and hate himself at the same time. All he wanted was... for them to come back. Since Isabel and Farlan, Levi learned the hard way that life isn’t the way he thought it would be. Kenny’s death was another punch in his face. His mother's death since the beginning made him this solitary person filled with problems.
Levi wasn’t normal.
Two pair of hands took him by surprise, but not enough to act defensive. He already knew this hands.
She pressed her face on Levi’s head, her body slightly pushing to his back. Her hands collared on his neck, embracing him thoroughly to her own content.
“What are you doing, Captain?” Her voice swayed Levi’s ears, the melody in her voice making him subtle and nostalgic.
“I have never stopped myself to watch this place, Captain.” He mumbled, almost too low for her to understand, but she did. Levi felt her jaw tense and knew she was smiling.
“It’s beautiful, isn’t it? This is what we fight for, Levi. For this place, this scenery, for the wind, for the people, for the oceans, for the animals, for us.” She let go of Levi to sit beside him, looking at him.
Levi finally got rid of his bandages, half of his face with a scar that marked a battle in transition; his left eye was hidden over a patch. She wanted so much to contain herself from touching his face once again. One after the other, every time she saw him like this, her hands immediately moved to touch his face. Levi doesn’t care much, but at the beginning he prohibited her to do so.
“Can I...?” The whisper made Levi look down, slowly nodding, not wanting to show her that he needed her to touch him.
Her fingertips rolled on his skin and scars, slowly, and carefully, she continue the path from the chin to his forehead. She stopped the movement once she reached his eye patch, looking at him for confirmation. He didn’t say anything, still staring at the ground in front of him, how the grass moved with the wind.
“I love your eyes, Levi.” She smiled at him, continuing her path, her fingers sinking inside his hair.
He finally let go of a sigh, looking up at her with the most saddest eyes, the color of his eyes slowly fainting by the light of the moon.
“If you die...” He started, stopping her movements. She frowned her eyebrows, looking back at him with fierce.
“Don’t say that. I’m not going to die. I’m not planning on doing so. My plan is to finish this war with Eren and those idiots, and then... we’ll retire in a cabin in the woods. We’ll have lots of kids. I’m still young, I can have at least 7 kids. Don’t you think?” She chuckled, Levi loving so much her action.
When was the last time he felt so affected by the emotions of another person? She had him wrapped on her fingers and yet he couldn’t do anything about that. He didn’t know the feelings he was going through. He didn’t understood what this new emotion was.
Was it really love like the books in the library described?
Was it the love Hange so furiously told him about when they stayed up almost all night drinking with Erwin and Mike?
Was love the past arrangement Erwin had with Nile’s wife?
Or was it that anxious feeling of seeing someone for the first time and noticing how beautiful they were?
He couldn’t decipher anything even if they were together. He was confused with all those emotions flowing into him. From the beginning, in his childhood, he never got to experience love and affection. Farlan and Isabel gave him affection, that friendship, and he learned from that. From Erwin he went through companionship, same with his squad, Hange and Mike. He understood those feelings; he already battled those and lost. Levi knew death, despair, loneliness, sadness; he knew all of those and yet he never once understood love.
She changed those thoughts so easily it scared him.
“You would look so beautiful holding our baby...” Her smile made Levi weak to the knees. How couldn’t he have fallen for her? “My plan is for us to be together until we are old and we decay with time. I want this to be over so we can be happy. What do you think?”
“...” Levi couldn’t say anything. If something he learned from all those years of loneliness and misery, it was to never dream too much. He wanted to live in the present because every time he thought things were alright something ended up wrong.
“Levi?” She looked so worried for him, letting her knees touch the grass in front of Levi.
His hands immediately hold her elbows, not wanting her to get on her knees and get her pants dirty just for him. Yet, she didn’t cared, only pushing away his hands a little bit to not make him feel bad.
“Talk to me, Ackerman.” Her voice soothes him. How many times has he loved hearing her call his name or just say anything in general?
He didn’t wanted to admit it, but having her near him, breathing, laughing, talking, whispering, singing... made him sleep so good for the first time. He finally let go of the worries in her arms and slowly pacified his urges of ending thing. Whenever he could sleep with her, he felt like the world didn’t needed to end just yet. Sleeping with her seemed like the only medicine he needed for days full of regret.
Either way, with those thoughts in his head while he stared down at the girl he profoundly fell for, he couldn’t let himself be like her.
Levi was the opposite of her. Down to earth, cold, and with secrets nobody needed to know. She was an open book, imaginative and lovable. He just didn’t wanted her to feel bad for saying words that could hurt her.
“This is real life, Captain. We are in a fragile situation right now in where we don’t know if tomorrow we will be alive. We live our lives to the fullest imagining that at some point we will stop and notice we fought so hard for our freedom.” Levi’s eyes connects with her, noticing how the light faded a little bit. “I can’t live in a fantasy... not when everything around me is based in reality. You are the one thing,” He stopped for a few seconds, his finger grabbing onto some of her locks. “I can’t loose.”
“You’re in bad luck, Levi, ‘cause I’m going into battle tomorrow and I promise you I will live. I won’t die yet. I can’t leave you alone.” Suddenly she pressed her forehead softly against Levi’s forehead, both of their noses slightly kissing. She closed her eyes and Levi admired her fractions.
He liked her so much.
She was the only reason why he hasn’t indulge into the darkness and end his life right there.
His fingers pressed her locks behind her ear, some of the hair covering his face and hers. She giggled at the humble actions of the man she loved with all her life. He continues to push her hair behind her ears, slowly passing his fingertips on her earlobe.
“Don’t die on me, brat. Keep fighting.” His whisper made her eyes crystallize. She felt the feelings behind those words. He wanted her to continue living even if he didn’t made it through another day.
She shook her head, the hairs from behind her ear falling back on her face as she pulled away from him.
Her hands locked onto his, pressing them on her chest tightly, a little careful of Levi’s bandage hand missing two of his fingers.
“No. Don’t YOU die on me, Levi. I want you to live and fulfill my wish with me. I want you to wake up tomorrow ready to battle and do everything it takes to come back into my arms. Many will die; death is inevitable, yet I’ll be here always. I want you to survive because you deserve to. I know how much you await death. You’ve been waiting for so long to feel it. The grass on your fingers, the blood gushing out of your mouth and the pain. But, Levi, I assure you, nothing is better than living the moment. Nothing will be better than this moment. You and me... finally together. I won’t let you die, Levi. We will have each other’s back. But you will survive even if it means me saving you over and over. I won’t let you fall into a darkness you won’t ever go out. I’ll light up your path every time you see it darken. I’ll keep the light up every time the wind tries to blow it. I’ll be here for you... until death do us apart.” Her eyes quickly tried to gush out the feelings, but the feelings were already dripping down her face.
Levi couldn’t stop himself anymore. He grabbed her cheek, pulled her up a little to be at the same height as him and pushed his lips against hers.
Her lips danced slowly on his, taking almost all the control of the kiss. Even if they were together for so long, Levi didn’t know a lot of things couple usually did. He didn’t know how to kiss, how to compliment, how to touch, how to love. Yet, she didn’t care for those small details. Being near her lover solely made her live happily.
Their lips continued to stick together, Levi wanting so hard to not let go. Maybe he didn’t wanted to let go because he wanted to love the moment like she told him to do; or maybe he felt the need to kiss her one last time just in case something bad happened.
Her hands touched Levi’s cheek, rubbing her fingertips on his cheek. He felt the cold round of tears pressing on his face, sticking them.
Breaking the kiss with a subtle movement, Levi gazed at her up and down, taking a mental picture of his lover for future references. For when the battle came, he could keep calm and fight dedicating his heart.
“Don’t cry, idiot.” He rolled her tear off her face with his right thumb. She nodded quickly, wiping her face with her long sleeve shirt.
“Promise me, Levi... we will fulfill my dream? Just promise me that.” His hand pressing on her cheek, she shoved it even closer to her.
He couldn’t promise that. He just couldn’t. Levi didn’t know if he was going to survive. The situation was getting dangerous and if everything went south, he would have to sacrifice himself to save the others. He needed to give them a future, Levi already fought enough, lived enough.
But now he had her... Now he was supposed to live to keep her by his side. He needed to survive. Yet, he just couldn’t say that to her. He wasn’t very good with words. Showing actions and taking actions was his forte.
The moon shined on them once again, the lighting in his eyes finally shinning again, the back of her head being lightened by the moon as well.
He wanted to live for her.
“I promise.” He mumbled, watching her shriek and throw herself on him, almost pushing both of them back into the ground.
She flowered him with kisses all over his face, being extremely careful of his eye and scar.
“I love you, Levi. Thank you. I’ll keep you safe.” Those words brought him so much joy. An emotion he hasn’t felt at all in his life, yet he was purely in love with this woman and he was going to make her happy.
“Me too, Captain.”
————————————
“Papa, papa, papa!” A little kid, around 6 years old with short dark hair and beautiful grey eyes threw himself at Levi. He catches him almost in midair and makes him sit on his arm and waist.
“What is it, Teo? I’ve told you to not interrupt me while I’m working.” The little kid shrugs his shoulders and purposely hides his face on Levi’s chest.
Levi noticed by the corner of his eye the little girl standing near the door, half of her face looking at him and the kid.
“Alora doesn’t want to play with me and I feel lonely.” His voice makes Levi tremble gently. Who would have thought that the Captain of the Survey Corps was going to be swayed by the adorable side of his older child?
“Alora, come here.” He turns around to the door, the little girl holding onto a dark teddy bear that hanged on her right hand and kept being swept on the floor.
She walked in with her face looking down on the floor. Alora couldn’t lie about it, she was almost scared of her father. He was always so quiet and cold; while she was the opposite. She was curious, a shining sun wherever she went, and a beautiful, intelligent little girl. With only 4 years old she already knew how to do basic math (something her mother continuously felt proud of and mentioned every time).
Levi looked down on her and gently squatted down with Teo on his arms, leading him to stand up on the floor.
Pressing his hand on Alora’s black, long soft hair that fell until her lower back and was tightly put in a ponytail, he smiled at her. Alora looked at her father and smiled back, loving those moments with him.
“Alora, would you like to play with your brother for a little while? Papa has some work to do, but once I’m done I’ll play with both of you. Anything that you want, I’ll play it.” He kept smiling, watching the kids as they celebrated that their dad was finally going to give them some attention. “Go play, kids.”
The kids rushed through the door, running into their rooms to play and have fun with each other.
Letting out a small sigh, Levi got up and sat down on his chair again. He still couldn’t believe he was a father of two children that made his life a whole heaven and a living hell as well.
A knock on the door caught him slightly by surprise, turning his attention towards now the person standing at the door.
He stared up and down at his wife, and how the dress made her look so irresistibly gorgeous.
She smiled at him and entered the room without invitation. Holding on her back for support, or for pain, she finally stood next to him. A hand pressed on Levi’s left shoulder, making Levi close his eyes and sigh again, loving so much her touch.
“You must be exhausted, Levi. Are you sure you can’t just finish this later? I could really use a massage, you know.” She leaned down a little bit, rubbing her nose on his cheek and ear.
“I have to finish today. I’ll be done soon.” Sighing once again, he let go of his desire to stop working and just let her shower him in affection and love.
“You’re so tense, dear.” Her hands touched his shoulders and made pressure on her hands to make him feel at ease. Levi’s head fell back a little bit, seeing his wife enjoying giving him all the love and attention he needed.
“Go do something else, brat. You’re always trying to make me feel good. I’m fine.” Levi pushed his body upwards, breaking the contact of her hands on his shoulders. She chuckled, understanding that Levi didn’t wanted to feel vulnerable at the state of tension he was in.
“Alright, Captain.” She makes the old salute, making Levi tremble at the sight. Even so, she continues to smile, leaning down on him to kiss him on the lips real quick.
“Tsk... idiot.” As soon as he said that, his body lay back at the chair, resting himself on it as he watched his wife walk away with a smile.
As soon as he heard his wife say dinner was ready, his body immediately got up and walked to the living room, seeing how the kids ran to the table. Getting from behind Alora, he helped her get on the chair. Giving her a short smile, Levi sat down at his respective chair, not having any other option than watching his wife put the plates and utensils at the table.
Levi always loved watching his wife do housework. He was a clean freak, and noticing how she always tried her best to keep everything tidy up and clean, made him love her even more. It wasn’t rude or anything, Levi helped a lot in the chores, helping whenever he wasn’t doing his own work.
“You’re slacking off, Levi.” She smiled, putting down the utensils next to his plate. He looked up at her, and her eyes shined to him. God, he could loose himself with just a stare.
“I’m tired.” He said with a sigh, resting on the chair.
“You could finish up quickly, papa.” Teo’s small voice makes Levi smile. His ear rings to that voice and he just enjoy his son’s voice.
“Yes, papa. You have to play with us.” Alora smiles while her mother pours some food on her plate.
“I know, kids.” His wife presses her thumbs to Levi’s nape, slowly rubbing it.
“Papa will be busy, but I’m sure he’ll take some time to play with you, kids. Right, darling?” Levi lets his neck fall back a little bit and looks up at her staring into his eyes. A faint blush covers his cheeks and he tries his best to hide it, yet she already notices.
“Yeah.” Mumbles, staring down at the food that was being served.
After they finished eating, Levi went back to his studio, trying as fast as he could to finish his work.
With a loud sigh, he finally finished doing all the things he had to do. He got up the chair, stretched his back and walked over to the room in where the kids were playing.
Standing on the entrance of the room, Levi let his back touch the wall and just decided to stare for a little bit at the kids giggling and playing.
He never had a childhood like that. All he knew while growing up was self defense. He knew how to stab, how to kill, how to defend himself. Levi didn’t know what other feelings were. The emotions he was feeling right now while watching his daughter show him her doll and his son the little train he got for his birthday, he didn’t know what that was called.
Knowing well enough how to battle an enemy, Levi never thought he would have to be fighting himself over and over in the future. He thought, maybe, after marrying her and starting a new life he would stop all those thoughts. And he did stop those thoughts. The birth of Teo brought into his life a whole new meaning that he didn’t know he needed so much.
Levi found love.
“Papa, papa! Come! Play with us.” The little girl’s voice shook him out of his thoughts. Looking up and down at her, he smiled, walking over to them and joining their small party.
Levi tucked both kids into bed. He wore them out enough for them to be knocked down cold into a huge sleep. Sliding the blanket over Teo and Alora, Levi kissed their small little forehead. If Erwin saw him right now he would have been surprised at the sight of weakness Levi was showing. “What would he say about this?”, Levi thought while staring down at the little girl holding tight her small bear. Nevertheless, Levi didn’t care. All he cared about were those kids and his wife. Erwin was long gone and he knew that if he saw that, Erwin would have been so proud of him. Levi found exactly what Erwin wanted for him, and what he wanted as well. No thoughts would change his mind on what his ex-Commander and best friend would have thought in that situation. Erwin would have been happy.
Turning off the light, Levi closed the door to the room and walked over to the room he shared with his wife.
And there she was, looking over at the door in wait for her husband. She smiled, opening her arms so she could get Levi next to her.
“Tsk. You’re a needy brat.” He crossed his arms, but still walked up to her. She grabs his hand and detangle them from his chest. Bringing him close to her, making him sit down on the bed, she gently pressed his hand on her belly.
Levi felt a knock, a kick, that startled him a lot. A life was in there. His next child was there. Levi finally understood that feeling. He felt it when Teo came the first time and when Alora also came. The feeling of being alive.
“It keeps kicking. It’s so funny.” She whispers near Levi’s shoulder, letting her head fall on his shoulder.
“He wants to kill you. I’ll kill him if he comes out like the other two. Disorganized and dirty.” His comment makes her laugh and Levi has no other option than to enjoy it. He wanted to record that in his mind forever. Her voice and her laugh.
“You silly... They are only like that because you let them be. I remember when I was a Captain and every time I saw you, you were scolding the cadets for leaving dirt everywhere.” She makes him remember, and he just snickers. He really was a strict Captain. And still, he always got the job done.
“I lived so long in dirty and dark places... I didn’t wanted HQ to be the same.” After he finishes talking, he feels another kick, letting go of a small smile.
“The HQ was bland. It was colorless. It reek of death and broken dreams. I didn’t like that so much.” She closes her eyes and rubs Levi’s hand over her belly.
“We didn’t have time to be thinking of colors. We were always living in a die or live situation.” She nods on his shoulder.
“I agree.”
“We should head to bed.” Levi mumbles again, not wanting to take his hand away from her belly or the warmth of her hand on his.
“Mhmm... let’s stay like this for a little while more. I missed your scent.” Her whisper makes Levi shiver, yet he only lets a small grunt come out of his throat, responding to her.
The small shallow breaths she was taking, the thumb rubbing on his hand, her hair falling on his shoulder and her thighs pressing on him made Levi so renewed. At the end of the day, all the tiredness faded away when she was there with him.
He knew she had her eyes closed, she was just resting on his shoulder. Yet, he wanted to look at her, kiss her, hold her, do everything he could think of even if she had a belly growing up. She has done so much for him and continues to do so by loving him every single day of their lives.
Levi slowly pulled his hand away from her belly and her, but now press it on her cheek. She opened her eyes and leaned back from his shoulder, now staring at him with bags under her eyes.
She was fucking stunning even when she was tired.
Letting his fingers roam from her cheek to her ear, pushing the hair to the back of her neck and ear; Levi cut the distance between each other and kisses her. Slowly, shaking and almost afraid of being too aggressive even if he wasn’t. Her hand found Levi’s shirt and gripped it. He pressed his other hand on her cheek and hold her face steady for him to kiss her better. Licking on her lip slowly, he went back and devoured her lips once again, showing off his dominating side.
Hearing her small moan, he let go of her. Staring deeply into her eyes, the small faint blush on her cheeks made him smirk. He loved making her flustered.
Slowly, but surely, Levi pressed his nose against her nose and gave her a lovely Eskimo kiss.
“I love you, Captain.” She said first, leaving him speechless once again like always.
He stared at her up and down, watching her completely. She always had this effect on him. Not for nothing they were married. Even so, Levi couldn’t be so easily frank like her. He loved her, but saying it was so difficult for him. Yet, when seeing her eyes shine the same way it did when they kissed for the first time, Levi couldn’t let her be disappointed on himself. He loved this woman with all of his life.
The woman who saved his life.
“I love you, too, (Y/N).”
————————————
“I’M NOT LEAVING HIM BEHIND, JEAN!!!!” The small faint voices of a girl during a silent world, were being simply shouted against the noise.
“We have to leave. We need to help Armin and Mikasa. If you stay here, we’ll be loosing you too, Captain. Please, reason with me here. We already lost Connie and Reiner is seriously injured. We need you.” Jean tried his best to reason with the girl who fearlessly continued to cry and shout at the tall man.
“NO!!! I CAN’T LEAVE HIM!!” She cries out, her tears falling in Jean’s arms and onto the floor.
“I understand, Captain. But Captain Levi wouldn’t want you to stay here and do nothing. We must continue to fulfill his wish and save the world. Please...” He couldn’t hold her anymore. She kept screaming while trying to push Jean away so she could hold her lover’s body on her arms. “CAPTAIN, GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER!!”
He let go of her and she fell on her knees, scrapping them against the rocks and sand. Yet, it didn’t hurt. Her body was numb to the exterior damage. She just couldn’t react to any of that. All she could do was cry and cry and keep crying.
Her body crawled closed to her lover’s body and she grabbed his bloody hand.
When did that happened? How did it happened? Where was she? How did she let that happen?
She kept questioning herself over and over again into the smallest details. Levi’s death was upon her and she couldn’t help but blame herself.
Levi’s soulless body was laying on the ground, his left arm missing and his left leg. He was not coming back from this one and she knew it. After everything she promised. After everything she tried to do to keep him safe, she failed every and each of those promises.
“Wake up, Levi... Yo-You... you promised... You pro-promised we were going to live. You promised ME you were going to live. You promised, you promised, you promised... YOU PROMISED!!!” Her shouts could be heard all over the quiet ambient. Jean let some tears fall down as well, his head falling forward to not be seen weak.
She grabbed Levi’s body and got him close to her, pushing his face near her and sobbing. Tears falling down on Levi’s face, almost washing away the dirt and the blood. She just couldn’t believe that was happening. Levi was actually dead, his body resting on her arms.
“You promised... we were going to have kids... and live happy in a little house on the woods! We were going to raise our children the way they never raised us. Please... please... Levi, please, I love you. Don’t go... don’t leave me!”
The sound of her sobbing suddenly were muffled by extremely loud crashing sounds.
Jean looked over to where the sound came and his eyes became plates. He quickly grabbed her arm and pulled her forcefully, making her shriek and cry harder.
“Captain, Armin is in trouble. We need you. I know it hurts. I know you and Levi had dreams. But right now, if you don’t stand and get your shit together, everything that Captain Levi fought for will be for nothing! DEDICATE YOUR HEART!” Her red face and covered with tears, dust and blood suddenly came to a halt.
Levi wouldn’t wanted her to be like this and not in that moment. She gazed at Levi’s body on the floor one last time, got closed to it, kneeled down and after crying out her last tears, she gave him a farewell kiss.
She wiped her tears off and got up, her face drastically changing to pure anger.
“Let’s save humanity, Jean. DEDICATE YOUR HEART, SOLDIER!!”
