livvv omg idk if you're into yandere at all but the image of samu in an orange jumpsuit immediately manifested the idea of going to see yan!osamu in prison after turning him in/calling the cops after he went too far w something (maybe catching him in the act of bugging/tracking your car and the cars of friends, keeping surveillance, etc) and he's just Manspreading, the suit doing nothing to degrade his broad frame (why does he look HOTTER) and blandly smiling lookin placid but there is murder in his eyes bc the security guard touched your shoulder when he escorted you into the room. he knew you'd come to see him. you know he'll get out eventually (too soon for anyone's taste). and this is just pleasantries to ease your mind. sorry im unwell

Currently thinking about the fact that the doors in Star Trek are automatic and because Vulcans are an alien species they might have had their own way of locking doors so they might never have encountered things like keys, skeleton keys, and elaborate locks

chants of sennaar is a fun game if youre good at guessing what the devs were thinking
#if one of the words you guess kinda make sense but is wrong then your ass is not getting that page filled in#also they made some game designs that i disagree with#actually im gonna talk about it right now in the tags#i will only be talking about the tutorial puzzle room so no spoilers#well i will be spoiling this puzzle but whatev#theres a lever and a closed door and a note next to it that says 'up = closed door. down = open door.'#the goal of this level is to figure out what the words say because its in a made up language with words represented by symbols#So naturally#you flip the lever and realize that doing so opens the door and then you can assume what the symbols mean#OH WAIT#YOU LOOK BACK AT THE LEVER AND ITS GONE BACK TO THE UP POSITION#AND THE DOOR IS STILL OPEN#so that really messes up how youre supposed to figure out the words?? like how do you know the down position is open what if someone had fl#flipped it before so down meant close because they closed it by pulling the lever down#IT JUST DOESNT MAKE ANY SENSE!!!!#THEN AFTER THAT they force you to fill out the pages to get the words locked in#they dont let you proceed until you do so#so. Naturally#you assume that whenever the pages show up youre supposed to be able to figure it out at that point#which is like saying youre supposed to fill out a crewmates name on the Obra Dinn as soon as their face gets unblurred#in other words its only there because you got the smallest of hints. you are at the earliest possible point that you can figure it out on#UNREASONABLE BUT THATS WHAT IT TEACHES YOU#all in all it doesnt feel like the game was playtested by other people#plus the movement is too slow

#probably my favorite american wild life#they are such smart problem solvers!#the little catch crate that we have works cause you go in the cage#and then you walk over this little piece of metal angled up#so that when youre weight goes down on the metal#it moves a lever and shuts the gate trapping the animal inside#so the little washbear i caught noticed alllll of that#and spent the majority of time held captive trying to dig and pack as much dirt/mud as they could under that lever to try to push it up#i mean the cage is still designed in such a way that they were locked in there#but just the mere fact that little dude was like#it all happened when this went down#so i need this to be up#really shows you that the problem solver is inside there#they were so cranky at first#but they were just looking up at me with those big eyes by the end#i let them go in a forrest preserve close#but not too close by#ughhhhhhhh#so fucking adorable#i love wash bears
