Happy Star Wars Day! May 25th & Happy Memorial Day!

Leia and Chewie were there for every Life Day celebration when Ben Solo and Poe Dameron were younglings. Even if Han and Luke were too busy, it was still their favorite holiday. Ben’s mother would always sing a beautiful song, and Poe would sing along...

Much like Life Day, as the Princes says, “this day is yours”. A celebration worthy of a Life Day orb and the classic Life Day robes.  May 25th, decades of Disney Star Wars days, Star Wars Celebrations, and joy across the Galaxy. Thank you Star Wars for the generations of love.

//On Memorial Day we remember our loved ones. Mr. Peter Mayhew, a candle light ceremony in your honor. Thank you for your service,  good boy. We will miss you, Chewie. We love you. “If your father was here, he would ground you.” based on her beautiful last jedi promo outfit. not to mention the newly released last jedi behind the scenes which are RIDICULOUSly intense. we nerfs dont deserve it!!

one of my favorite carrie moments is from chicago comic con 2016 where she says “My son is hitler, I couldn’t date anyone! Could you imagine? On match-space.com. Say what you’re like: Well, my son is hitler (laughs) and I smoke, how about you?” (x) she’s so adorable.

two weeks ago, carrie’s awesome brother todd fisher did a touching tour of her house where he showed off a painting that they had bought for her (x)...

“she collected what she called ‘ugly children’. if carrie were here, she would name that child, we’re asking you guys. you name it. i want to know.”

well, the little guy has brown hair and brown eyes... i vote that he be dubbed little ben fisher solo! sorry, ben. it’s nothing personal.

thank you todd for including us in the fun, and thank you for opening up your world to us. it’s very healing and wonderful to sometimes still feel so close to someone we all loved and lost. thank you for keeping her force with us... you’re our space prince, todd! 

our beloved galactic princess, your perfect soul is missed so much in this part of the galaxy. im so happy to know that you did you until the end. you’ll always be royalty to us. thank you honoring us with your presence. shine on, silver girl, shine on. we’re sailing right behind...

space mothers know that growing younglings need lots of snacks on Rebellion picnics and pathfinder hikes. ben likes to jump around like a jedi in training and quickly gets really hungry and really cranky on family outings...

the first star wars movie I ever saw was Return of the Jedi. It’s perfect, it stands alone, and one of the best scenes in all of star wars is wicket saving leia from the endor forest. “trouble is, i dont know where here is” <3 she looks so gorgeous and soulful and she’s so sweet and so motherly ... space moms are the best, and they always remember to bring you a snack.

Carrie forever in Our Hearts <3 every beautiful sunset is dedicated to you! eternally grateful to you mr. Todd Fisher for the remembrance bracelets from her memorial service. they’ve been so healing and wonderful. thank the Force you are with us! Remember Her Always.

Ben has been through a series of face scrapes in his life. We can tell in the trailer for The Last Jedi that the cut he got at the end of The Force Awakens must have ~healed fully~. And the new scar must be from falling in the shower-- like his grandfather before him  #ForgiveRianJohnson #scargate

Poe Dameron’s Flight Log contains a beautiful letter from Leia to Poe Dameron after the passing of his mother. Abridged, It reads:

Dear Kes and Poe,

I learned recently of the passing of your wife and mother. I can only imagine your grief, and offer my sincerest condolences. Shara Bey was a woman like no other. Then there was her brilliant piloting during the Battle of Endor. Did you know she escorted my brother, Luke, to safety in that flight? It was as if she’d flown one of those fighters since birth. She was our leader up there, guiding us through a mission that, if not for her, would have killed us all. She refused to admit that any mission could be the end.

As long as the stars shine, Shara Bey will be remembered.
