I miss her so much, DARLING! I decided to experiment a bit on her wardrobe and I forgot her bellybutton piercing. Anyways, she's doing her beeest and decided to do something about her and Macaque's eyebrow. He has three while Duzhe only two. They have very beautiful bushy eyebrow. I wanted more active expressions and movement so I did many references.

Well I just found the saddest screenshot of season 5....

I never noticed Macaque on the left.

He's literally surrounded by both his Monkey Mentors in his absolute worst moment.

As much as they fight, they come together for him. I don't care that Mk is in his 20s; compared to Macaque and Wukong, and in their eyes, he's a baby monkey who's traumatized beyond belief.

Like going into a parent's room after a nightmare.

Look at him.

Something I’ve seen a couple times is Macaque and Azure having kind of a rivalry because they both like Wukong.

Alternative: Macaque had a one sided rivalry with Azure because Azure honestly kinda respected Macaque for being so close to Wukong and keeping him safe.

I like the idea that Azure respected that he had competition for Wukong’s affection while Macaque HATED the idea that someone else liked Wukong.

Wukong, having Litteraly no knowledge on someone liking him romantically, was probably hella confused why Macaque did NOT like Azure for seemingly no reason.

My own personal take on why Macaque fur isn’t usually white despite being, well, a macaque. And since MK also owns his shadow powers weeeeelll… Also MK is much more towards the blonde than the white since he still took from Wukong fur color.
