I can't believe it's finally finished! After 8 months of work I am glad to present you, ladies and gentleman my 17th century men's costume. It's made out of satin and trimmed with lace, which was sewn on by hand. The wig was also styled by me.

La comédie musicale Le Roi Soleil fête son retour en France.

Emmanuel, with his gorgeous voice, as Louis XIV, my beloved. what a beautiful performance. it was such a pleasant surprise when I was at Mylene Farmer's concert in Bercy & then I saw a familiar face and couldn't register it for a couple of seconds. until, finally, I realised that it was him & left my place in the first row and followed him while he smiled and waved. yeah, that was a lot. even remembering this makes me smile so much. he was quite a sweet sunshine & i couldn't believe my luck.

then Christophe as Philippe, my other love, comes out on stage. god, I nearly went to his concert in France in, what, 2013? 2014? was sad for quite a while that it didn't happen 'cause his album that year was a perfection. every single song on Je veux du bonheur was p e r f e c t. i adore his voice.

and Ça Marche? perfect in every way. the fact that they engages Louis in this? yeah, I was a bit obsessed with the royal brothers back in the day & the idea of it still makes me happy. i can even imagine watching this live. that must have been an experience & I'm sad they, after all, didn't relieve it the way they did with MLOR with their concert version. i'd pay to watch LRS live without a blink of an eye (because really, the quality of recording this musical? is a crime against humanity.)

the chemistry Emmanuel and Christophe have in this, the amount of jokes that went into this. i love it. i love it so much. Louis trying to hug his brother while his brother is being Like That. sunshines.

Donc là vous me dites qu'en mars je vais pouvoir entendre Cécilia et Damien chanter "Aimer" et qu'en décembre je vais pouvoir voir Emmanuel reprendre son rôle dans le Roi Soleil et l'entendre chanter "Être à la hauteur" et "je fais de toi mon essentiel" ??!!!!!!!
