Souji had been staring at his new bracelet all day with a giddy expression. Anything he got from Mika made him blush all over in bliss, but this one... calling him wife... it was enough to send him over the moon...

Lazuli must've noticed it, too, and any other time he would've been happy to hand it over so she could see... he almost did...

"A-ah.. um..." He shied away some, holding it to his chest. "I uh.... perhaps that's not..." There were things Lazuli did not need to see, nor want to. The inner message was definitely one of them.

I'm already pretty tired of the character Geb😅 Now I'm happy with his physique and his look, but here's the jaw… It should be heavy to emphasize his severity, but because of the beard and such a jaw shape, instead of an Egyptian, he looks more like a Chechen😬 Is not what I wanted. If I can't find another jaw shape that suits me, then I think this will be the final version. I need to come up with at least some concept that suits me, given the added influence of Geb on Seth in the script.

Geb will need more for some episodes and scenes than I originally planned, for example, for flashbacks to reveal the past Seth. So his previous design was no good at all. Outwardly, he should be a match for a powerful opponent Set. However, according to the original myth, the less powerful Horus was somehow able to win against Seth, but this will be at the expense of his other qualities, which Seth will not have.

According to the idea, Seth will take away by force, or rather in a fair fight, from Geb the power over the main city of Egypt, which will explain how the ambitious Geb voluntarily gave up power and how Seth ended up there. However, this fight is more likely to be needed to complete Seth's psychological confrontation with his father, Geb, than really to explain who and how came to power.

In the case of Geb, a small concept with ambrosia was invented. It is Geb, as the first of the gods of the "flora" (Osiris will be next), who will grow a plant whose fruits will cancel aging. This will work for both gods and humans-it will explain how Lilith was able to live with demons for so many centuries. By the way, it is because of these fruits that demons will penetrate into Eden after being exiled. No one wants to grow old, and the creator of the exiles certainly did not take care that they owned the seeds of these fruits. In the original Egyptian myth, there is no ambrosia, the gods aged, for a very long time, but they still aged. At the oldest of the gods, Ra, with old age, the skin began to turn into silver, bones into gold, and hair into lapis lazuli.

In my concept of history, it is problematic to implement this. I still can't decide whether to come up with a scientific or at least some evolutionary explanation for the powers of gods/angels and their longevity, or leave it as an assumption without explanation - a myth. But then one of the additions to the plot - the pairing of the divine - disappears, because in fact the gods will be omnipotent. In addition, due to the omnipotence of the characters, there will be no framework for their abilities, without these boundaries, although they will be more consistent with the myth, it will be very difficult to explain why they did so and not otherwise. If you start asking logical questions in the myth itself, the conditions of the world and the set characters of the characters will already collapse.

I'll take Milton's "Paradise Lost" as an example. According to his setting, angels, like Lucifer, could take on any shape. After his exile, Lucifer somehow inexplicably changed in appearance and his light darkened. Despite the poetic description of Lucifer's train of thought after his exile by the author, I will sum up the essence of his words - he whined that no one would recognize him as a glorified seraphim, since he was disfigured in appearance. Reading it, I wanted to say: "Man, you can take on your former appearance whenever you want!"🤦‍♀️ That's why I made angels in my setting almost like people, the only difference is in longevity, artificial "creation" and the presence of elemental force. The rest of the needs are the same.

Mikhail wanted to catch the Östsun duo before the teams gathered for the Hunt. Outside the castle walls so his cousins could join as well. Once the three had gotten their attention, the prince produced a thermos of a bitter-smelling concoction, with Dmitri holding the mugs.

"It's not the same. Since we don't have access to the same flora as Östsun. But we had our cooks and medicine makers come up with something that should at least act similarly to your kingdom's soup."

It was awful. It was so awful. Such a strong bitter taste that even Lazuli twitched a bit when she downed hers. Mikhail had to take a moment to compose himself as the taste lingered in the back of his throat.

"... My father also wanted to participate in this ritual before the Hunt ... I will understand completely if you wish to refrain when the time comes..."

"Prince Mikhail." A smile was already warming the prince's face as the other approached with his own entourage, and yet the smell that wafted from the thermos had it freezing in place. It was, while a bit different, familiar enough to turn the male's stomach. Styrka...that accursed soup?! Here?! How?! He'd thought he had managed to escape that misery here so far from his homeland. He had no idea how his cousin and her family downed the awful concoction the way they did before each hunt. 'Bracing' his ass, they were lucky it didn't kill them!

Could he find a way to bow out? He wasn't a Knight, so technically it wasn't his tradition to abide by. But Prince Mikhail had brought enough mugs for them all to drink. Gods...

"Such a kindness, Prince Mikhail!" Leo reached out to take hold of a mug and rather skillfully avoided the urge to retch as the scent wafted closer from the action. Gods.

Annali's smile was a great deal more genuine, he bet.

"You honor us with this." His cousin held her own mug up and tossed it back in one go. She didn't even shudder, show off.

He liked to think he did admirably in masking his revulsion as the bitter, grassy concoction slid down his throat. The only thing it had going for it was that it was hot. But at least it was done with. "Oh, well--"

"While we customarily only partake of the soup once, we would be honored to share our custom with Navka again."

With his mind in as much of a haze as it was, Pythius didn't even think about who else might be at the house-- namely Kyrie or Lazuli. When his daughter surprises him in her excitable hurrying toward him, it takes everything he has to resist the panicked urge he has to leap away from her. Instead stepping aside with his hands up to signal for her to stop.

"Oh! You don't want to hug me right now, Princess, I'm all dirty! And I think I'm getting sick, so I don't want you to catch it. Where's your mama, mm? I have to go to uncle Rem or uncle Aster to see if I need medicine, so I have to tell her first. Do you want to go get her for me?"

He had to get them out of Hell as quickly as possible, Had to get himself away from them even sooner. In all honesty, he'd have left Lazuli a note, if he wasn't worried about leaving some trace of this damned Corruption behind on it. The details of the symptoms had been fairly extensive, after all, and with his head as twisted up as it was at the moment? Remembering everything about what he could and couldn't pass this on to felt like an even more monumental task than it typically would have.

How the Demon Prince wished that he could have greeted Lazuli with the smile that she deserved. That would have been so much better than the look of sheer panic and dismay that he met her with, instead.

"Take Kyrie, and teleport both of you to the castle. I need you to tell my siblings that...that I think I might have been Corrupted. After that, stay out of Hell for a while. I know it's sudden, but I can't let either of you--"

If Pythius thought he was struggling before though, that was nothing compared to the sudden, violent burst of pain that he was hit with as he tried to explain. One that actually managed to pull a cry of pain from him, and would have brought him to his knees, if not for the wall that he was able to throw himself back on for support. His hand quickly coming up to cover his mouth in case another shout threatened to leave him. "...Hurry, Lazuli. Please."

There was a sigh of relief as her shoulders relaxed. He didn't kick her out. "That I can provide," she said with a still nervous smile. Walking over as Kyrie nuzzled against his neck. She took his free hand, giving it her best attempt at a reassuring squeeze. "The Corruption's reached you guys too, huh?"

With Kyrie in his arms and Lazuli's hand in his own, it was... well, Cecil didn't really feel better, but it still helped. It grounded him.

"...Yeah. I guess I was a little too optimistic to think that it wouldn't reach us, but... I don't know. Wishful thinking can be dangerous, I guess." A light laugh, before he sighs. "...It's Cari. He caught it when he went to Astra'alca, and didn't notice until he'd already infected his soulmates, too. He was quick enough to realize and lock all of them in his tower."

He looks to Lazuli, then. "You know how the gravity of a problem never hits you, until it happens closer to home? I never even entertained the thought of any of this happening to my kids... now that it's happening to Cari, I'm at a loss."

Lapis Lazuli: What is their favorite memory?

This man has way too many favorite memories to count and some depend on the storyline and who he interacts with (aka roleplay partner specific memories.) From the adoption of his children, to his first dates, and then there was when he met the Mario Rabbids. To make him pick just one would be very difficult for him!

The Captain Laserhawk Rayman doesn't have very many memories of his past. A lot of his childhood ones are but a blur. The favorite memory he holds onto depends on who he interacts with.

There's the day he adopted @pktearsoftazmily's Lucas into his family. He never expected to become a father and it's one of his fondest memories.

There is also the day where he met @rayheroism's Rayman. While it was a rocky meeting, it was one of his best memories. He's genuinely happy to welcome a twin into his family, and nothing makes him smile more than to see him and Raymona interacting together.

He can never forget the day he met @gorgonacorali's Naida. He has no idea how he ever managed to be so lucky.

And of course, despite everything that happened during that time, Valentines Day with @badxsshottiexllie's Ellie and New Years Eve. He intends to try to recreate the valentines day date someday without the emotional outbursts, and now that she's revealed her name as Ellie and not Rose.

Murfy's fondest memory was Raymona's graduation day from the Magic Academy. He still remembers how happy she looked when she recieved her diploma. He took a picture of the two together, posing with her diploma on display. It's one of the very few times Murfy wore an actual suit and tie to an event.

For the Captain Laserhawk version of Murfy? It's got to be the day he first met Floyd. He was visiting the United of Eden for the first time and was captivated by the lion while he was on stage. Floyd would gravitate towards his table and began to flirt with the greenbottle. The two would grab a drink or two after his performances and they spent hours just talking about everything. Murfy knew right away that he had found his soulmate that day. They've been together for a few years now.

Raymona's fondest memory was the half a year she spent over in Rayman's homeland. The time she and Rayman spent together as children is something she will never forget.

Though she also will never forget the day Rayman introduced her to @pktearsoftazmily's Lucas. The day she was introduced to the boy that would become her son.

She will never forget when @pktearsoftazmily 's Lucas first called her his mother.

And she will always remember when @rayheroism's Rayman saved her life from Hoyt, she will always remember the day he rescued her from someone that would do so much harm to her and her brother. The day she knew who she wanted to be with in life.

Floyd shares the same favorite memory as Murfy. The day they first met. The day he met the love of his life. His Cuddle Bug.

Grute's favorite memory was the day he proposed to Minnie. While they are not officially married yet, he is Minnie's fiancé. They plan to wed when they find a patch of land that will welcome them both. He does not want Minnie to live the rest of her life in the Knaaren underground, and Minnie's been disowned by her wealthy family when she announced her engagement to Grute.

Grute took Minnie to the grove where they had their first date. He had white flowers decorating the entire grove. He had her enagement ring resting right in the center of a white rose. He pulled out all the stops to make that day special, and he intends to make their wedding day the biggest celebration the glade has ever seen, since Knaarens marry for life and the ceremonies tend to be big and expensive.

Yes, you’d be blue, but you’d have free will— no lamp or anything like that— for the most post. You travel where you want, when you want. You had hobbies, interests. It’s just that you do have to grant wishes. It’s part of the whole “genie” thing. Ridiculous, I know. For a while, you tried not granting wishes, but it quickly became apparent as to why you had to. It was a dark time. So you make it work. You have fun with it. Mostly, you can be found need on shores, near bodies of water. And living forever has its perks. In ancient Greece, you stumped Hermes—though, he wasn’t that bright anyways— literally. After a bad wish, you turned him into a tree for bit after you saw him chasing dryads. In 16th century France, Descartes almost bested you (but not quite). And in today’s time? It’s a bit less fun, because everyone usually wishes for the same thing. But on occasions, you’ll wander into a random town— usually a small one— and ask the first person you see what they would wish for if they could have anything. Even predictability can be fun sometimes. The guy wishing he had a fast car to impress his friends? Granted. He is now one of the fastest cars on the market. You changed him back after a year. No harm, no foul. The woman who wished to win the lottery? Clearly she’d never read of The Lottery by Shirley Jackson. But you had. And so on. However, it was this, surprisingly that made you appeal to modern mortals. They began to seek you out as a way to “test their wits” against you. So for years you offered a deal. Three guileless wishes to the first mortal that could best you. You became a sort of legend, which was hard in 21st century. And in truth, it was good fun. Of course, no one ever did best you, but you never expected them to. After a millennia or so, you have up your corporeal form, something genies rarely did, opting to become myth and legend. The other option I got from this is a sort of dark genie. You have no name, no one form. Or, at least, if you had either of these things, the mortals didn’t know. In the early days, you dwelled in a cave, made of lapis lazuli and clear quartz. There was a town nearby and as small towns do, a rumor began. Apparently one that encouraged thrill seekers and those seeking wealth to ransack your dwellings. It was widely known that no one ever made it back. Illusions were your specialty. Once someone crossed the threshold of the cave, they found themselves ensconced in an illusion depicting their greatest desires. And the illusions you cast depended entirely on the character of the one who had ventured in. If they were pure of heart, they saw their desires and dreams exactly as they had always imagined them. But if not… And in truth, they rarely were good at heart. Not many “pure of heart” go wandering into caves that promise riches at the cost of “never returning”. Actually, sometimes you returned them to their town, though usually a decade or two had slipped by before you realised they had been there. (After all, you had better things to do then pay attention to dazed mortals.) Other times, they grew old there, trapped in illusion. please let me know how or if this resonates, as much as your comfortable with. i value all feedback, long or short.
