Eyes, much the colour of their hair shifted from side to side before finally and decidedly settling on Freyja's fair visage. A slow borne smile grew on her pallid lips even as she stood still, like a child caught five steps from mayhem.

It had been too long. Even the name, the ken, felt foreign to her ears. Granddaughter. Not even the claim. Dóttursdóttir minn. She sighed silently, a small bead of guilt growing in her chest as she hesitantly stepped forward.

"And are you not glad of this?" She replied, thinking on her feet, "If there was enough woe to foretell my coming, would you not have been displeased with me?" She lifted her chin, proud and mischievous as she finally reached Freyja's feet, still smiling as she looked up at the older goddess. Like a child who knew they were about to get their way. She softened her voice as she earnestly added, "I missed you, amma."

For a long moment, the Queen of the Vanir silently appraised the younger Goddess with something close to affection in her gaze - something which became even more apparent when she finally spoke.

"I was not expecting to see you, granddaughter."

brooooooo I just got to the part of P5r where akechi is trying to infiltrate the phantom thieves and bro is not subtle at all. Shows up at your house like "man, i think the phantom thieves and i might have similar goals!" while having the most kicked-puppy expresssion on his face. Hindsight is 20/20 and all that but hoooooly shiiiit is he laying it on thiiick

Hey! Hi! Love your theories, absolutely. So on point and in character, wow. Anyways, so do you think the new chapter cover page with all the kiddos flying and Norman and Emma holding Phil's hands, do you think that that could be some foreshadowing? Like either Norman goes and gets Phil where Emma left off, or they later work together to get him back? (Also sidenote, they holding his hands like they're his parents is so so precious~ so cute, omg)

This spread is very obviously a

KOINOBORI FLAG FAMILY DISPLAY

Now, understanding how the koinobori works, it's interesting to note that the position of the father is filled by Norman who is sailing at the highest elevation.

The second position, of mother is filled by Emma.

(At first glance it may look like Phil is above her, but Emma's hand is on top of his hand, so technically she is above).

Below the two of them are the children's positions, filled by Phil, Ray, Lani and Thoma (although Ray is kind of acting like an uncle, taking care of Lani and Thoma).

Looking at the way how there are countless interconnected flags below them, I think the underlying message is that they have a huge family with countless kids who Norman and Emma are trying to take care of as a father and mother.

Pretty nice news for the noremma ship if you ask me 😉.

The way that Emma is trying to draw in Mujika, I think shows that Emma is trying to include her in the family. Mujika looks surprised.

I hope that this is foreshadowing towards Mujika's acceptance as part of the family. 😊

Now, lastly, I don't want to sound smug, buuuut isn't it nice for my deep sea Atlantis theory that just as we cross the Seven Walls, we get the spread of these fishes wishes to reach a dragon sailing across the sky... you know the phrase...
