I usually headcanon most non-canon ships I like as childfree partially out of contrarianism (I hate when people ASSUME two people will have kids just because they’re in love) and partially because I don’t want kids and this is my house and I am here mainly to project onto fictional characters
But lawlu? Ohhhh they’re having kids. They’re HAVING kids. Law might not know it yet but they WILL be having multiple children
#cuz like here are my thoughts:#-Luffy was MADE to be a dad there’s no way he doesn’t want to be a dad he’d love it so much#-I think Law is probably conflicted about the idea of having kids bc he has. poor self-image and stuff and thinks he’d be a terrible father#plus just general trauma over him losing his parents and sister and then getting a new father figure and then losing THAT guy too#but Luffy is just like ‘You’re not gonna mess up our kids accidentally because I won’t let you. And you won’t die and leave them all alone#because I won’t let you.’#and Law is like well. both of those promises seem pretty unrealistic. and Luffy is like but you believe me anyway. and Law is like yeah.#ALSO:#Law: obviously not NOW but like when is the timeline for. WHEN do you want kids#Luffy: uhhh I dunno. HEY SHANKS! How old were you when we met?#Shanks: Uhhh like 25? I think 25#Luffy: Ok! Torao we’re gonna start having kids when I’m 25 ok?#Law: *is used to Luffy making decisions in questionable ways so he just accepts it*

Hello, I wanted to ask you if I could make a headcanon of the One Piece characters if they were the parents of the female reader and how they would treat their son-in-law when you bring him home, if they would interrogate him or not, if you could put Shanks and Mihawk that would be great, thank you

context warning: cussing
Luffy:
“ WELCOME TO THE FAMILLYYYYY!!!!!!!! “ he said loudly, eeeehhhh he MIGHT scare him away 💔 but your dad trusts him! (Maybe) he will give him the ultimate father-son time together! He really likes your decision on your husbanddd he’ll probably say to you “ aahhhh you chose a good one y/n! If he hurts you, I will kick his ass “ 💞 but overall he’s friendly and not really extremely protective at all, of course he wants the best for you! But he we’ll share very embarrassing stories of when you were little 😬 “ SHISHISHI did you know that Y/n was drinking milk, and someone—- I think usopp— made a joke, and she spit EVERYWHERE!! SHISHISHISHI!!! “ ” DAD “
(The ultimate test to see if this guy is the one if he shares his food with him)
Zoro:
oh… girl if you bring ANYONE who is related to Sanji it’s over for you and him 😭🙏 he will NOT be impressed no matter who he is, that man is going have to do some MAJORRRRRR things for him to even CONSIDER accepting him to the family. He will give him the most NASSTTTIESSSTTT looks, glares, side eyes, just overall being a dick 😭 he will question him like he’s a damn cop, asking him questions not even he knows the answer too. At some point you’re going have to beg him to be nicer Lmaoo. “ So.. this .. is THE guy you’re going for y/n..? REALLY?? Are you 100% SURE about.. uhm whatever THAT is.. “ but at the end of the day, he will accept him to the family after he realizes how happy you are with him 💞
Sanji: uhm. Eh. Eeeeehhhhhhh… okay! He’s a bit.. skeptical with it- BUT he just wants the best for you!!!! He wants to see his daughter that he loves and cares sosososoaos much to be happy with a man! He would obviously be nice, and tell stories when you were little, he would NON STOP talk about you too him “ oh yes yes.. did you know y/n LOVES chocolate cupcakes? I used to bake her those all the time! “ he says, almost proud of himself. When sanji approves of him, he is of course nice to him! Treats him like a son he never had.

I really love that we got this scene.
It's quiet, something we don't ever see with Kid. This is the first time we've gotten to really see the Victoria, and it's a widescreen format that I don't recall ever seeing for the series before. Also, Kid's not smiling here. He's contemplative. I feel like this shows he's thinking about his decision. And honestly I think it shows that he understands the consequences if he loses. He's not stupid, he knows just how much damage even Shanks' crew is capable of. But he also knows he was able to blast an Emperor to kingdom come, albeit with help from Law.
The way he runs his hand along the wood. Because he knows there's a chance it's the last time, but it's also one he's willing to take. And realistically, what option does he truly have? They're nearing the final stretch of the New World. There are still four Emperors. One is Luffy, and he isn't going to fight him now. Not until the end. One is Buggy. Why would he care about that guy? That leaves Blackbeard and Shanks.
Blackbeard, the man who did the impossible and obtained two Devil Fruits. And Shanks, a demon to be sure, but one with no DF powers. Between the two, he seems the smarter option. That, and the man's here before him at the legendary island of Elbaf. He could sail on by and not make any fuss, but for what? If he really wants to find the One Piece, then he's going to have to fight the other Emperors for it, there's no question about it. And it's Elbaf. Like hell he'd pass up the chance to see such a legendary place.
So why not use this moment, when he's got distance between them and a weapon he knows is capable of destruction despite it? When would an opportunity like this appear again? Even if he decided to sneak on by, their next meeting would be inevitable, and would likely be in an even less favorable setting. Maybe the other Emperors would be there as well, or the enemy crews. Here, it's just him. And as for Shanks' ultimatum, what the hell kind of pirate would he be to accept it? They both know the answer. Kid will never give even an inch without a fight.
So yeah, he knew the stakes. And he knew his own strength.

One piece 30 day challenge : Day 7 Marines or Pirates ? Who are the bad guys ?
REVOLUTIONARIES !
Ahem, this wasn’t the question hihi It depends from where you’re looking at this question. But...I would say MARINES.
WARNING : A bit controversial.
No I am not influenced by my love for Koby
I swear I have my reasons. >o< Well, let’s look at my point of view in more details.
You could either base your opinion on the Marines and Pirates that are shown in One Piece universe or you could try to take more distance and try to “imagine” the story being written from a neutral focalisation or another character’s point of view.
✖ The importance of POV : One piece follows the Straw hats, who are “good” pirates, so it’s natural to feel more empathy towards the pirates. The reader/watcher always relates and feels compassion towards the protagonists, even if they are “criminals”. Some other Pirates are shown in a badass way (like kid Pirates, Red hair pirates, etc) so it’s really hard to put things into perspective, because we don’t get to see the “bad” things that they do. (The killing civilians parts, etc...) So, we have a very biased point of view on pirates.
✖ What is a pirate ?
noun. /ˈpaɪrət/ /ˈpaɪrət/ (especially in the past) a person on a ship who attacks other ships at sea in order to steal from them.
One of the characterization traits of a pirate are to steal, rob etc. A lot of the Pirates in One piece are like that ! (Like, Alvidia let’s say) however, we follow the adventure of “good” (?) pirates. Also, we don’t get a lot of brutality and horrible moments of Pirates being terrible to innocents because it doesn’t serve the plot.
But I assume that most pirates are like this in One piece. This is the reason why someone like Isshou is in the Marine. This is why Garp is in the Marine. These pirates make people’s lives living hell.
✖ Let’s take an example : Kid who kills innocent civilians. (Because I love Kid!!) What we see is good hot Kid, his quirky personnality, his badass character design, etc. So it’s only natural to love this kind of pirates ! We get mostly the good.
✖ Blackbeard is a good exemple of this. Blackbeard is hated. But really ? Why is he hated ? He is just being a pirate. Pirates kill and steal, that’s the meaning of the world. I think that this also shows how character design plays a big role in our appreciation of the character. Edit: actually, I think a lot of people hate him for being sneaky, killing Ace and betraying WB. So my exemple was a bit hasty, lol.
✖ Are strawhats good ? : To get to his goal, Luffy is not letting anyone stop him. His motive is freedom and isn’t “heroic” and he does state it ! I think that Luffy is just a good pirate, someone that has a good heart but that he doesn’t have a strong sense of morality. His motive is selfish and personal. Same for let’s say, Nami, who is a perfect example as she used to steal for a living. (Of course, she had her reasons, this is not the topic, I am not antagonizing any character here ! I LOVE MY STRAWHATS please don’t hate me, okay ?)
✖ What is good and evil ? What is “Justice” ? This is one of the main themes of One Piece. This is the reason behind the justice crisis of characters like : Smoker, Tashigi, Garp, Koby. This is what One piece teaches us.
Justice is subjective. You can’t fight in the name of justice. There will be always people that are victim to injustice. Law is not personnalized to every singular case (and that sucks). This is why the marine couldn’t accept to recognize they were helped by the strawhats. This is why Smoker spared Luffy. He is still a criminal, but he did something good.
✖ One piece shows us different ways to see justice ; from the dogmatic way that Rob Lucci represents, from the rigid application of justice that Akainu embodies, the “justice” of Celestial dragons that is linked to aristocracy, the justice of the oppressed represented by the revolutionaries...Etc...
✖ A case example : Doffy being a visionnaire like always and speaking gold : (giving us his vision of justice)
“Pirates are evil? The Marines are righteous? These terms have always changed throughout the course of history! Kids who have never seen peace and kids who have never seen war have different values! Those who stand at the top determine what's wrong and what's right! This very place is neutral ground! Justice will prevail, you say? But of course it will! Whoever wins this war becomes justice!”
✖ Oda’s take : I remember that part (I forgot) when Luffy said that it’s up to people to decide wether they are good or bad. And this is for me the ZIST of One piece. Oda doesn’t give answers, but he pushes the reader to think for themselves. He doesn’t say this is bad and this is good. It’s up to us to “chose” a camp and honestly, I don’t think it’s about chosing...It’s more about accepting that life isn’t white or black but a lot of gray zones. Good and Evil are social constructs. Humans write in law what is good and bad but it’s such a biiig field. This is the problem with vague concepts.
✖ WHY WOULD I STILL CHOOSE MARINES ? I know. The problem with Marines are that they work under a corrupt government. They are “people who spill water on hands” as we like to say in my beautiful dialect which means people that have little or no say in higher decisions.
✖ HOWEVER I generally (and it’s personal) prefer something more...”framed” ? I think that If I was in One Piece Universe I’d be a marine like Koby, or Isshou. I look up to Isshou a lot. I would be working for the marine and using my position to try to limit inhumanity and limit “absolute justice”.
The more I think about it, the more I think marines aren’t better. When I think about Buster Call, genocide of Ohara, not doing sh*t against slavery...Ugh...Well. I came up to say I preferred Marines, but I think I would JOIN marines if I had the choice, but that I prefer neither. (Of course in the P.O.V of the Show, I have more empathy for Pirates, and therefore, I love my Kid pirates !)
REVOLUTIONARIES.

The development of Law’s relationship with Zoro - Part 5: Zou, The Kindred Spirits (The Last Moments Before War)
<<Part I: Before Meeting>> <<Part II: Sabaody Archipelago, The First Meeting>> <<Part III: Punk Hazard: The Alliance (A)__(B)>> <<Part IV: Dressrosa, The Breaking Point (The Plan Failed)__ (Saving Law)__(Protecting Law)__ (Birdcage, Pica and Doflamingo)__ (Aftermath)>> <<Part V: Zou, The Kindred Spirits (Traveling Together)__(Searching for Nakama)__ (Reunion)__ (Ninja-Pirate-Mink-Samurai Alliance)__(The Last Moments before War)>>
After Jack’s attack, Zonesha required medical attention (chapter 822). Anime extended that by showing how various members of the alliance worked together to help the injured elephant and even included a scene between Zoro (who again was lost) and Law asking him about his awful sense of direction.

This scene is funny on many levels, because:
anime didn’t show Law to be involved in any task like making bandages or preparing medicine or, like Zoro, cutting the wood
which means either he wandered and just saw Zoro or went after him on purpose
the “you walked on your own, Zoro-ya” implies he was aware Zoro at some point disappeared which supports possibility Law searched him on his own
and thought Zoro’s sense of direction was ridiculously terrible which clearly made Pirate Hunter embarrassed.
At least we know Law paid attention to Zoro in the Dressrosa arc, when he twice got lost on different occasions.
Then the whole interaction was related to Law invading Zoro’s personal space. Either it was his “revenge” for victory party on Dressrosa or he simply felt that comfortable around the other man. Whatever Law’s reason was, once Carrot and Luffy showed up out of nowhere, Law stepped back. Not too far away, but the distance between him and Pirate Hunter was more casual.

Luffy and Carrot made fun of “stray swordsman”. Zoro retorted he will simply carry the wood into the right place and did not take kindly to Law’s comment about waste of time and that he may be lost again. Whatever Zoro wanted to say, Trafalgar without warning used shambles to send the other man into the right place. With wood. That fell from the sky with Zoro and almost killed some poor Minks. Zoro called Law “that bastard” but overall it didn’t change anything between them.

That makes episode 775 one of the most direct interactions between these two Supernovas. Involving violating personal space, commenting on someone's flaw and a bit of arguing.
Once the Zunesha’s wound was dressed, the alliance split in four groups:
The rescue mission for Sanji was carried by Luffy, Nami, Chopper and Brook, Pekom and Pedro. Heart Pirates (represented by Law) and remaining Straw Hats (represented by Zoro) were going to Wano as Kinemon’s group.
While saying goodbye to Luffy’s team, Law and Zoro stayed far away from each other but close to their respective crewmembers. Then Luffy grabbed his people and simply jumped into an abyss, shocking and/or scaring his companions, samurais, minks and Law alike (chapter 822).
Law definitely still wasn’t used to such a way of transport. And maybe seeing Luffy doing it again brought the not so happy memories of a similar jump on Dressrosa. In contrast Zor’s group was pretty much relaxed watching their companions fall down from such height.
And so, the Zou arc ended.
Luffy’s group headed to Big Mom’s territory while Zoro’s group with samurais and Heart pirates will soon travel to Wano cramped in Law’s submarine.
Zou arc is set up for the upcoming fight against Kaido and Big Mom. One one hand, chapters 803 - 822 provided details and pieces of history needed for better understanding of the alliance situation and what will wait for them in future. On another, there were a few days of needed rest for characters during which the similarity between Law and Zoro could be seen. Both have marks of “dark characters” with specific sense of humor and/or logic. Both are cool-headed and while analyzing their situations often emotionless, if not to say clinical or even heartless. In dangerous situations they aren’t prone to panic or showing worries. Both have low tolerance for idiots (unless said idiots were their crewmembers). Both are introverted, quiet people who don’t talk much but observe their surroundings. Often keep some tangible distance from the large group and seem to like their own personal space. At the same time, through the arc Law could be seen in close range to Zoro - sometimes with little to no personal space between them. They may not talk much about personal matters and don’t hang like Luffy and Usopp do, but they definitely feel comfortable enough to stick so often close to each other and share observations.
Zoro, as one of the quietest Straw Hats and less prone to being emotional (like crying after dying painted dragon) was still the safest person to stay around for Law. They understood each other without need of many words, had similar reactions to danger or shocking news and people saying idiotic things (Bartolomeo and Luffy) while not showing their own emotions - even when ninja picked their interest immediately. Which is why Zou arc was titled by me as “The Kindred Spirits” because finally manga presented their interactions in more detailed way and it is hard to miss how often those two decided to stay around the other, even if there wasn’t anything to talk about.
If I have to sum up the Zou arc in relation to the development of Law’s relationship with Zoro in one sentence, I think “Law hanging out with a fellow introvert when there are so many noisy extroverted people around” would do the work.
Here comes additional thoughts and details worth to consider:
↪ In theory, as non captain, Zoro is below Luffy and Law. Straw Hat and Surgeon of the Death are de facto leaders of alliance. But once Luffy went his way, Zoro led Straw Hat group (similar like Sanji led the separated part of crew to Zou). During that time, he and Law were on equal footing in the sense of leadership skills. Interestingly, the narrator called their group as “team Zoro”, totally ignoring Law’s status as captain or potential leader. Later on, when alliance split in four groups, the graphic illustrating the division showed Trafalgar and Zoro as equal leaders representing their respective crews while both were put into Kinemon’s team.

↪ Thinking more about “team Zoro”, there is a possibility that Law temporary accepted Zoro’s leadership:
- it is clear he hates when people order him around (what was seen on Sabaody Archipelago with Eustass Kid) and Luffy, every time Straw Hats makes a decision ignoring Law’s opinion or outright ignoring him.
- Nami mentioned in Dressrosa Law was a lot like Luffy - giving orders to others without caring what they think. At the same time on Zou he did not boss anyone from Straw Hats. All major matters (not waiting for samurais and finding Bepo) were decided by Zoro. Everyone was allowed to express their concerns - what Robin and Usopp did - but once Roronoa made the final decision, no one questioned his judgment of the situation. Not even Law who, as captain himself, should be on equal ground.
- Law said “we should head straight for [Bepo] if we want accurate intel” which sounded like a suggestion of best action instead of giving order. This adds to the impression Law was truly compliant through their journey into the unknown place.
- Considering that Zoro did not try to order Law around (like Kid) and listened to his observations and suggestions (unlike Luffy sometimes), there wasn’t any reason for conflict or power struggles between those two Supernovas. Trafalgar was treated well by Zoro and the group who asked about his opinion and respected him in the general sense of the word.
↪ There is also the matter of Carrot’s attack. Zoro took on himself to fight the unknown enemy and Law did not protest.
- Once again, Sabaody Archipelago showed Law did not take kindly to insinuation he needed protection of others when Kid insisted on fighting marines alone.
- During Dressrosa, he didn’t fight unless he had to; to save as much energy as possible in case of a facing Doflamingo. We learned then that though Ope Ope no Mi was a powerful devil fruit, using its powers consumed a lot of energy.
- It is hard to judge how much time Law needed to fully renew his strength but after three days of rest on Dressrosa and one week of journey, from the group that arrived to Zou, Law seemed to still be recovering from injuries. What the bandages on his arm implies. Not even Luffy or Usopp had any visible injury signs after so much time.
- In all fairness, Zoro was the only one person in the group who wasn’t really damaged during the previous battle. The fight with Doflamingo left Luffy sleeping for three days after, Law and Usopp were mercilessly beaten down at some point, Franky had a manly fight against Senor Pink that left him injured and exhausted, Robin was hurt while protecting Rebecca from Diamente’s attack.
- Now, considering that Law could be not fully healed - and if that was true, Law and Zoro should be very aware of such a problem - letting Roronoa to deal personally with the danger makes sense. On one hand Zoro is always first to fight an enemy, because he likes fighting. On another, protecting others is his natural reflex. But in contrast to Kid, Zoro doesn’t make a big deal of that; he doesn’t ask for gratitude nor make fun of those who rely on him for being weak. The same as in Dressrosa, Law’s inability to fight at full capability was acknowledged but didn’t treat as personal weakness. Zoro simply protected the group because it is what he always does - put himself between danger and other people.
- Which could explain why Law didn’t protest and let the other Supernova deal with the enemy instead of proving his battle superiority or something like that. Law allowed himself to be protected - maybe because of injuries or because of trust in Zoro. Maybe for both of those reasons.
↪ During the joint trip to meet Raizo, Law always stayed at the end of the group, just after Zoro. Anime made it especially look like Trafalgar kept quite a large space between himself and Pirate Hunter, even though for most of time he didn’t mind staying close to the man. This actually made me think about author’s notes included in volume 76:
“This famous Japanese saying that can be taken as even sexist. "A wife must always walk three steps behind her husband."
This saying comes from ancient Japanese samurai culture. Let's say we were one of those samurai who constantly carried around those dangerous Japanese swords, not knowing when we'd need to pull them out and fight- if that were the case, would we really make our loved ones walk right next to us? Those "3 steps" are equivalent to the distance we must make to keep our ladies safe!! If you're a man, say this. "Take 3 steps back and follow me!!!" Take 3 steps back from volume 79, and this is "Volume 76"!!” [translation according to one piece wiki]
Putting aside the context of wife, the “safe distance” from someone who is carrying katanas actually could explain the change in range between Zoro and Law. When the group went to and came back from the hidden place, everyone was walking in line, one person after another. Since Law was a swordsman himself, he may follow some unspoken safety rules, like not going too close to armed swordmaster. Also, maybe he prefered to keep a distance between Zoro’s cursed sword and his own? The cursed blades like to cause problems and some, like Kitetsu, are bloodthirsty. So in general, the distance kept then most likely was less about liking or disliking each other and maybe about some rules of safety understandable to swordsmen?
↪ This seems to be more anime-thing, but Law addressed Roronoa as Zoro-ya. In the previous arc, most male Straw Hat pirates get their own nicknames (nose-ya for Usopp, Black Leg-ya for Sanji, Straw Hat-ya for Luffy). Law is on a first-name basis with Zoro. On the other hand, Roronoa used Luffy’s nickname Traffy..
↪ The interest in ninja is another thing they have in common albeit for different reasons. Law was mainly interested in clone jutsu which fits his medical skills - he can manipulate someone’s body while a ninja may multiply himself. Zoro’s interest was focused mainly on weapons and ninja’s endurance to pain/injury, because of course he wanted to see how strong the shinobi was.
↪ Law seems to not be a fan of partying, at least not in a big and noisy group. I’m not sure if we ever saw him actually drinking alcohol (don’t remember that personally) and who knows, he may not be fond of that too. This time Zoro didn’t drink with Law, so either he respected Trafalgar’s wish to be left alone or simply knew that Law was surrounded by his own crew, thus didn’t need his company. Last time, Law was a lonely Heart pirate between Straw Hats and the new Straw Hat Grand Fleet, now his own crew for sure wanted to spend some time with a long no see captain.
That is all for now for Zou arc. The alliance had a chance to relax and rest a bit before facing Kaido. With the help of new friends, Zoro and Law headed to land of samurais now occupied by one of Yonko. How their relationship will work under new level of pressure will verify the next part - Wano arc.

Trafalgar Law x female! Strawhat! reader
1.8k words
Warnings : abusive mother, shaming, end FLUFF
Story : (Y/N) is worried to land on this new island. Trafalgar Law is decided to know why.
The day started as any other day when you’re friend with Monkey D Luffy ; noisy and joyful. The Strawhats along with their allies the Hearts were peacefully sailing to their next destination.
It was Luffy, and Luffy alone, who made the choice to follow the direction indicated by the third log pose needle ; Law tried blaming the young boy for not asking him but Luffy just casually apologised like everytime.
Truth be told, Trafalgar Law was not the only one trying to argue with him. You, as the third woman Strawhat, contested his decision. It surprised everyone. You were normally the first to follow your captain in his overjoy about discovering a new island. But at that moment, your eyes displayed worry.
As you didn’t give the reason to your refusal to join this place, the two crews kept sailing that way. If Luffy and the others - as well as some men of the Heart - promised to keep you safe from whatever was worrying you, your concern didn’t fade. And the surgeon of death didn’t miss it despite his silence.
By the end of the second day, the land was ahead. As soon as the ship and the submarine reached the shore, Luffy was on the soil and quickly followed by everyone else. They had free time to behave and do whatever they wanted the moment they didn’t attract the marine’s attention.
“Aren’t you coming, (Y/N)-ya ?”
Trafalgar Law looked up from the quay to the railing of the Thousand Sunny on which you were leaning.
“Doesn’t sound like a good idea to me.”
Your (color) eyes were wandering through the folks on the quay behind Trafalgar as if you were looking or waiting for something or someone. Anything you obviously didn’t want to see.
“I really am curious what is scaring the fearless and reckless woman you are.” “I’m neither fearless or reckless. And that’s something nobody could protect me of.” “Give me a chance.”
Your eyes fell on the black haired man at the confidence in his last words, but not only that, because he was indirectly saying he would protect you.
You felt your cheeks warming and hoped you didn’t turn red. He had a power over you you loved and hated at the same time. In general, you were mainly grateful he was the allie and friend of your captain. Falling in love overtime with an enemy would have been troubling.
“What are you going to do ?” “Have a drink.”
His answer wasn’t one you wanted to hear according to the grimace on your face. Yet, you surprisingly jumped down right next to him with the agility you showed in fight.
“You better be an awesome bodyguard.”
He eyed you with a sly smile as you started walking to the streets of the city for a bar.
*
“And so that’s how I met and joined Luffy’s crew.” “I guess Mugiwara-ya is that kind of people that can gather people around him.” “He is with no doubt. We made so many friends thanks to his constant need to help everyone.” “To Mugiwara-ya.” “To Luffy.”
You lifted your glass along with Trafalgar’s one and made them cling together before taking down a full swallow of it.
You’ve been drinking for the past hour, talking about your first respective years of piracy. Thanks to him no alcohol was needed for you to calm your nerves.
The both of you were so focused on each other, as if the sound of the people around couldn’t reach you anymore, that it took you a few seconds to realize the bar had turned silent.
You didn’t have enough time to fully turn around that a hand came slamming your cheek forcefully before you could even see who it was. Not that you needed to watch to know who it was ; your eyes were already teary - not because of the pain - you had been hurt more than that - but because of the shame.
Trafalgar stood up of his sit the moment the slap resonated through the room. He grabbed the woman’s wrist but hadn’t had time to speak she started yelling your way.
“Matt told me he saw you at the docks but I didn’t believe him ! I didn’t believe you have enough guts to show your face here again !”
The furious woman tryied coming closer to you but Trafalgar’s firm grip prevented it. However it didn’t stop her shouts.
“What did you do that the Strawhat accepted you on his ship ? Are you sleeping with him ? With all of his crew ?”
She looked up at the surgeon who’s tighten his grip on her. Her dull eyes quickly fell back on your figure ; her voice was lower but not less accusing. “Him too ?”
For the first time since her arrival, you raised your head and, with your teeth clenched, glared deadly at the woman who gave you birth. It didn’t plead her.
“Six years you left to come back a damn pirate and that’s how you’re looking at me !” She screamed louder than ever.
She was in such a fury Trafalgar couldn’t stop her from kicking in your stool making it fall over and you too. Your whole body collided hard, your head first to meet the floor, and it would have been worst if the Heart hadn’t force your mother to step back and miss her kick to your ribcage.
Despite the pain, you stood up and eager yourself to the exit with the unstoppable shout of your mother still coming your way.
You were about to pass the door that the familiar blue circle passed you and you heard his voice. Shambles. All was left of you and the devil fruit user two little rocks on the floor of the bar.
“(Y/N)-ya... are you ok ?”
Trafalgar had brought you out of the city, away from the people ; you were only surrounded by trees. You knew where you were since you grew up running on the soil and in the forests of this land.
You held a hand to your face and swept off your cheek of the one tear you couldn’t help to fall. Then you turned to him.
“I’m ok. I had stronger opponents.” You chuckled nervously. “That’s not what I mean.” “I know.” You shook your head. “I know.” You repeated lower.
Trafalgar didn’t know what to do. He wasn’t used to this kind of situation and was terribly bad at dealing with it. Luckily from him you were conscious of it.
“I think you already guess it was my mother. I think it’s safe to say we didn’t get along pretty well.” You paused and thought about how to explain it but the Heart made it easier by questioning.
“You told me earlier you left your island to join Luffy two years ago but... your mother, she said you left six years ago ?” “Yeah I... I left this place when I was 17. Joined Luffy when I was 21.”
You paused... again but eventually sighed. If anyone should know about your past, Trafalgar Law was a good choice ; you trusted him after all.
“My mother had always been abusive. Morally abusive. She’s been shaming me and my brother for... as long as I can remember I guess. But one year before I left she hit me for the first time. I thought it would be just one time. I thought she was just angrier than usual or that I had done something that really angered her but” “But she did it again.” You nodded. “What about your father ? Didn’t he stop her ?”
You shook your head negatively.
“He was the first one she started abuse. Then it was my big brother, the Matt she talked about. And so me. They fear her more than I do and never talk back. Everyone is scared of her here. You saw it yourself at the bar, how nobody dared moving to stop her.” “You would have let her beat you if I wasn’t there ?” “Yes ? What should I do ? Hit her ?” “Flee.” “That’s what I did six years ago, look where I am today.”
You hadn’t notice but during your talking, you’d walk closer, just a meter away from each other. You watched as he got his hat off and ran his hand through his hair, visibly embarrassed.
“In the end, I failed at the chance you gave me. I wasn’t an awesome bodyguard.”
If he was discomforted by his own statement, the kiss you brought to his cheek didn’t help ease his heart. The small but sincere smile you showed was reassuring.
“You were a good bodyguard. I even may request your services for the following days.” “... It would be my pleasure, (Y/N)-ya.”
Instead of getting back with Trafalgar’s shambles ability, you insisted on walking. Under the trees, then on the sand of the beach surrounding the whole island, you led the way. And when you got close enough to the docks, you could see light and hear music meaning everybody was already feasting on the Sunny’s deck.
If you seemed eager to join them and forget what happened even only for the night, while Trafalgar was not. He only wanted this alone time to continue. You had just grabbed the ladder to the deck that his voice called you back to him.
“(Y/N)-ya ?” “Yes ?”
But he had nothing to tell you, nothing to keep you to him. So when he thought he had no time left and that you would leave him, panic took over him. He barely controled himself when his hands grabbed your waist, pulled you to him and leaned to kiss your lips. Your hands that rested on his chest under the surprise closed slowly on the cloth of his slightly opened shirt as you relaxed.
There were smooth - his lips on yours - and fuller than what you imagined. It gave you thrills all over your body and down your tummy how he made them slide on yours and slightly open to bit down on your lower one. The small gasp it made you did surprised the both of you and you broke the kiss.
You looked into each other’s eyes, your both faces burning from the excitement you felt kissing. But the sudden overwhelming feeling was not the only one you shared at the moment.
“You... wanna get to the party ?” He asked unsure. “No.” “Wanna go to a quieter place ?”
You nodded more vigorously than you wanted to, as your eyes kept going on between his eyes and his lips. The both of you only wanted to kiss each other again. It was the need you shared.

Thank you! I suck at requests but I hope this is okay? So maybe Reader is actually in the straw hat's crew but she and Law are dating, so when this alliance with Luffy happens Reader is so happy because she's going to spend time with Law? And like Luffy is always around saying stuff like "remeber she's my nakama!" And law is a bit childish like "she's my girlfriend though"? It's okay if you change it or if you don't want to write! Thank you so much again! You're writing is amazing 💕
So sorry for the delay! I was suddenly swamped with school work and my computer crash, what a mess ;-;
ohhhh!!! this is so cute! I changed it a ting, but hope you still like it! Thank you so much love!♡ ♡♡

Story beneath the cut ♡
After years of candidly speakingabout his dreams, he set out with his newly formed crew. Having no reservationsabout coming along, he pushed back at the last moment.
“W-What do you mean that I can’tcome?”
“It’s going to be dangerous, I saidno.” Law repeated with an unwavering stern expression as he continued toprepare for his departure. Uncharacteristically haphazardly tossing necessitiesaround, he rushed as not to make his decision anymore painful that it alreadywas.
You began to chuckle, initiallycalling his bluff as he couldn’t be serious. To leave you behind, no he simplycouldn’t do such a thing; yet the coldness in his advert gaze rattled yourcalm.
“P-Please tell me that you’rekidding, come on, L-Law?” You tried once more, tugging on his long sleevewishing for any second word. Simply refusing to, your grip loosened allowinghim to slip from your grasp to continue upon his desired path.
Despite his adamant word for you toremain safe at home, you knew that you needed to go out to sea. No matter therisk, you took the first opportunity. Jumping onto the Straw hat’s ship, youjoined the eccentric man’s crew being welcomed with open arms.
Keeping the once tight-lippedsecret from Law, it spilled the moment in which you saw hm. After weeks ofsilence on his end, his presence was an unexpected surprise.
On the frozen island of Punk Hazard,he kept his composure until they very end. Matching eyes, his presenceparalyzed as he stomped up to you ignoring all around.
Unable to read his blankexpression, you were unsure about what he would say. A harsh scolding and ademand to return home to wait for him? Anything was possible in the moment. Youheld your breath continuing to run through a list of possibilities ultimatelyreceiving the unexpected.
Caught in a tight embrace, he heldyou in a fiery hold. Losing his hands in your flowing hair, he hid his changingexpression in between. “[Name]-ya, I missed you.”
Initially taken a back from hisrather soft approach, flood of negative flew right past you. The gasp frozen inyour throat, slowly melted to his warmth.
Simply wishing for his call, hisphysical being was only to be dreamed of. Quickly balling your fists behind hisback, you grasped a handful of his coat refusing to let go.
“Law…”
“Ouch! Just this once!” After joyfilled tears, he crushed the tender moment with a flick to the forehead. Wincing to the sudden pain, you tried to suppressthe uncalled-for attack.
The scolding punishment oncethought to have been successfully avoided, he unfortunately didn’t forget about.
“[Name]-ya,” he softly called, ignoring your pained mutterings, as he reached for your hand covering yourforehead.
“N-No Law!” You tried dodging his ever-persistenthand surely seeking more torture. “It really hurts, I’m being ser—” you pausedas he gently captured your hand lifting it to lay a soft kiss upon your injuredskin.
Giving a light rub, he offered asilent apology for the pain; despite you being the one to defy his orders hedidn’t wish for it to continue.
Your features dusted in a lightrose to his affection warmly placed. Taking his rouge hand in yours, you laidyour own upon his inked skin. Foreboding words etched, he could be quite kindwhen he wished.
Hiding his face amongst thecollection of feathers around his neck, he held your hand tightly. Squeezing,he was grateful for your rather clean acceptance.
Spending time undercover, hesuddenly went silent not wishing for blow his cover in anyway. Yet guilt gnawedas he continued to have you wait for him in the dark.
“Law? Law?” You looked up at him, growing concerned about his rapidly sinking expression.
Lost in thought, he nervously bithis lip holding back the words. Yet before he could ever be given theopportunity to speak, a creeping voice quickly approached.
“Shishishi!” Luffy suddenly wedgedhimself in between breaking your contact. Caring none for personal space, hedropped an extended arm bringing you both close to him. “Remember that [Name]is our nakama now,” he continued to chuckle beginning his annoyance for thestern man.
Out of all the things that he wildcaptain had said and done before, this one topped. Pinching a specificallytender nerve, Law broke away swiftly taking you into his arms. “She’s mygirlfriend though,” his frown deepened as he attempted to hold back the angerbubbling. A rather bold declaration left in his wake.
Carrying you away from the teasinglooks and calls to bring you back, he brought you to a more secluded area awayfrom the noise. Finding refuge upon deck, he set you down to lean against therailing taking a deep sigh from the disturbance.
Never one for such a public display, you looked towards his sudden childish behavior. “So, I’m still yourgirlfriend?”
He turned to the sudden questioningcatching him off guard. Although he had heard your laughter following, he sawthe question honestly posted in your eyes. With no softness in his voice toreassure, he gave a snicker, “Don’t be stupid.”
You shook your head, to expect alove filled gesture might have been too much. You continued to laugh nudginghim slightly, “Oh, Law come on! Just say it once more!” Taking the opportunityto tease, you continued attempting to get him to speak. Tight-lipped, a slightgrin was enough to speak.
“Don’t push it,” he exhaled with amenial laugh once again breaking his tightly wound attitude.
“Worth a try,” you shrugged as you leanedupon his arm. Taking advantage of the time allowed, your smile raised to havinghim close.
“I’m glad for this alliance.”
Unable to as joyfully agree tomatch your tone, he remained quiet. Silence persisting, he broke the heavy airwith a sigh to the word.
“Oh, come on,” you huffed gentlyswatting his chest to his attitude. “They’re a little much at times but you’lllearn to love them, promise.”
“What…” Law paused, taking note of thelook in your eyes as you highly spoke about the rambunctious bunch. Simplyappearing as an annoyance to him, they took on another meaning to you.
He snorted, rejecting the notionfor caring for another much more for a rival. “What have they done to you?[Name]-ya?”
“What do you mean?” You questionedhis rhetorical with a chuckle as you caressed his rather cold cheek.
“Torao! [Name]!” Luffy reappearedrushing over with the crew following suit. “Give us back our nakama Torao!” Heprotested from a far noting Law’s figure hoarding you to himself once more.
Jumping to an immediate defense,Law placed his sheathed sword before you jolting back your kindly waving hand.Fiercely shielding you from any touch, he wouldn’t allow despite call for thetemporary affiliation.
“Law,” you softly spoke slowlypushing down his unnecessary line of defense. “Don’t worry about it,” You triedto smile before it quickly dropped from the sudden grasp.
Suddenly plucked from your place,Luffy rushed away carrying you above his head. Chanting of said ‘victory’ withChopper and a love swooning Sanji, he played along with Law’s childish behavioreasily beating him.
Hitting his last stable nerve, Lawstepped forward ready to destroy all whom dared to take you from him. Yet hehesitated at the last moment.
Deeply conflicted from your truesmile being risen from this group, he stepped back before he could steal yourhappiness once again.
“Law?” You searched for the manhaving suddenly disappeared without a trace. After begging to be put down, you notedLaw’s missing presence. Surely off sulking, it wasn’t the time to leave himalone.
“[Name]-ya,” Law appeared suddenlywrapping his arms around you.
Jolting back from an honest fright, you took a moment to regain your breathing. “O-Oh, Law, don’t scare me likethat.” You nervously chuckled shaking off the fear.
“We’ve been looking for you, dinneris rea—”
“After this is done, you’re comingwith me.”
“W-What?” You turned back, hissudden words more striking than the scare. Looking up at him through the flurryof feathers that he wore, his expression refusing to pick up.
“You’re my girlfriend, you’re not staying with this crew anymore.” Hesqueezed upon your body tighter as he spoke. Selfishness take high priority, you had no other choice.
“And if I refuse?”
Clenching his teeth, he took in asharp breath. Adding onto his day of frustration, he unwound once more to yourlaughter.
Wishing to sail by his side fromthe very beginning, he was finally agreeing to bring you along. Waiting for theday, it strained from the attachment to the Straw hats. Difficult decisionscrossed for a moment before reaching the obvious answer.
Despite wishing to jump straightinto his arms, a little taste of his own silent medicine wouldn’t kill him. “Itsounds like the captain is wanting us back, we shouldn’t keep him waiting.” Youpaused changing the subject, picking up on Luffy demanding for everyone to jointhe feast.
Law grumbled to your use of ‘captain’towards another effectively pushing him away. Too late? He tried to not let go evenas you worked your way out.
Breaking from his grasp, your teasingended with a giggle and kiss to his forehead. The genuine concern melting hissteel eyes, it pained to keep up the joke for much longer.
“I’m not sure how Luffy is going totake it but let’s enjoy this while we’re here okay? Captain.”

Could I have a continuation of the scenario with Kagome at Punk Hazard?
Sequel to —> SCENARIO 742
“Can’t believe your plan…is beyond to what other pirates are thinking, and now you are planning to ask Luffy-kun to create an alliance with you…,” her eyes narrowed on the black coat keeping the cold away that had sneaked into the factory, “what are you planning, Law?”
Stopping his escort of the straw-hat member, the Shichibukai looked over his shoulder to see her facial expression seeking for answers. Was she seriously thinking of reading him?
He adjusted his hold on his long sword over his shoulder before focus returned to the hall leading to the outside of the factory. “I have my reasons.”
“And what are those?”
Law sighed; the first time he had met the girl she was just as talkative, and if not questionable. If they did not hurry, Ceasar was going to become suspicious of him as he was given the task to take her to the cells and lock her up with the other straw hat members they had captured.
“That isn’t any of your business, woman.” Continuing his way into the hall, Law blinked as he found himself now staring at the girl.
Having come to block his path, Kagome’s glare tightened. “It is my business, Law. My captain’s safety is a priority to the other crew members, and I think you forget, I am one of those crew members.” Law was not really someone to feel threatened about, but that was before knowing he had become a Shichibukai. Working for the World Government, Navy, and wanting to ask for an alliance out of Luffy? That all sounded too fishy. Not to mention-
“-you plan to go against Doflamingo and Kaido?”
Law’s eyes narrowed upon hearing the names roll of her tongue.
“You do realize what you are proposing, not only for yourself, but for Luffy?” It came to her as a surprise when Law told her during her escorting if she knew where Luffy was exactly and what his plans were. She questioned it and Law proposed the alliance to not only put an end to Ceasar’s reign on Punk Hazard, but also put an end to Doflamingo and one of the Yonko. He was asking for war against two of the strongest pirates in the New World!
“Woman, don’t lecture me on what I already know.” Law scoffed as he walked around her.
“Do you really know?” She turned around; he stopped. “You might have come up with a plan, but this plan probably includes us, am I right?”
“This is a decision that your captain will make, not you.” Looking over his shoulder he noticed her pink glow growing over her palm. Eyes narrowed on her glow; the rumors were true?
“If I sense you as a threat to Luffy and the Straw Hats, I won’t hesitate to fight you here.”
Tilting his chin up, Law slowly turned to face the girl. “That glow isn’t from a fruit, is it.”
Kagome caught the statement. She was aware of the rumors that were spreading, and now it was becoming dangerous for a Shichibukai to know about her identity and where she came from.
Especially when she knew the one after her was working with Doflamingo.
“The Navy is searching for you, and you also have Doflamingo’s people coming, woman.” Law’s eyes narrowed, “your hopes of escaping them are slim, but my plan is to take Doflamingo down and Kaido. You are aware what needs to be done for your sake?”
And he was right. If she wanted to escape Doflamingo and Naraku’s clutches, then the only way to be free was to face them. She sighed under her breath as she broke the eye contact.
It also did not help that Luffy was bound to accept Law’s alliance without question so really, she was going to face Doflamingo no matter what.
“So what is it gonna be?” Law asked, brow rising. “I doubt you want to be a damsel in distress.”
“Shut it.” She stomped past him, “don’t act all mighty because you are one of the Shichibukai.” Quickly pointing a finger at him, the glow reappeared at the tip. “There is a reason why Doflamingo is after me and that is because a Shichibukai sees me as a threat, so you better watch it.”
A smirk played on Law’s lips. A threat, huh? So she was the last priestess of her land escaping the demon reign that took over.
And the only one who could put an end to them. It was worth having her on his side, for now.
