May we raise children who love the unloved things – the dandelion, the worms & spiderlings. Children who sense the rose needs the thorn & run into rainswept days the same way they turn towards sun…

And when they’re grown & someone has to speak for those who have no voice may they draw upon that wilder bond, those days of tending tender things and be the ones.

SWAN GAZEBO was painted while I was creating images for HOME INTERIORS during 1995-2001. The image sold over 50,000 prints across the US. This is the original Painting, done with oils on canvas. The scene was inspired by Calloway Gardens in Georgia, a popular garden with Azaleas, that bloom profusely along a walking trail. It is known for  gardens, golf and as a Family resort. My family took a vacation there for a week and had an amazing time. In the Spring, and summer, many birds are attracted to the area and the swan with her babies were there too. Another piece for collectors of my early work. Today I am known for Creating large Florida Landscapes and Oceans along with many tropical birds and plants.
