November 5, 2022
I drove down to Seattle to stay the night with my friend Tara (who now lives in a gorgeous apartment downtown) after work the night before. I had an early morning flight on Thursday to visit my friends Lauren and Eli, in the San Jose, California area. I slept a few hours at Tara’s, after chatting for a few hours. That morning, I woke up just before 5am, washed my face and changed, then Tara and Kye (Tara was dog sitting a dog with a broken or hurt leg) walked me to the parking garage where I had parked my car overnight. That was really kind of them! So thankful that Tara let me stay over, because I’m a lot less anxious when I’m closer to the airport.
I drove from Seattle to SeaTac and dropped my car off at Masterpark. I took a shuttle to the airport, and went through TSA precheck, through the Clear line, so I was done with security within minutes. I love that perk! I was flying with Delta, so I spent the morning before my flight in the swanky Delta lounge. I had a really yummy breakfast and mimosa, and did my makeup. Also, I think a waiter was flirting with me? That was strange, hahah.
My flight was from 8:45 to about 10:45. I spent the flight listening to music, snoozing, and blogging.
Lauren picked me up at the San Jose airport, which was so nice! You all might remember Lauren and Eli from when I visited them In Rochester, New York, in May 2021–my first trip “post” Covid. Lauren and Eli live about 30 minutes from San Jose, in a town called Sunnyvale. Eli works for Texes Instruments and Lauren is a long term substitute middle school teacher. They moved from Rochester to Sunnyvale in the late summer/fall of 2022. It was really nice to see Lauren when she picked me up! Went don’t talk or text all the time, but she is a great friend! Whenever we are together, it feels like no time has passed at all, we just fall right into place.
Lauren drove us to Sunnyvale, where we stopped at Trader Joe’s. She needed to get some grocery shopping done for her and Eli, and we added on a few fun things for my stay as well. From Trader Joe’s we went back to their apartment. It was a very cute (but expensive—they do live in Silicon Valley, after all) one bedroom apartment, which is on the top floor of a two story townhouse style building.
We spent the rest of the day catching up! Lauren wasn’t drinking at the moment, but I had a few drinks with Eli when he got home from work. Lauren did take some edibles (the are legal, you know!), and we had a great afternoon and evening. We had some bagels with cream cheese and lox (smoked salmon) for lunch and some chili with toppings that they had made earlier for dinner. It was nice to hang out with Eli, too! He’s a great guy and I love Eli and Lauren together.
Lauren and Eli didn’t have wifi or streaming subscriptions, but they did have a laptop we could watch things on. We used my phone for a hot spot, and Mom’s Disney+ account and started a show they wanted to watch, Moon Knight. Ingvar and I had already watched it and enjoyed it, so I was happy to watch it again!
All three of us were tired, since it was the end of the week. They had a really nice air mattress set up in the living room for me with a ton of pillows and blankets. We took turns getting ready for bed in their bathroom, which is off their bedroom. It was like that in their place in Rochester, too. We said goodnight, and we were looking forward to the next day, because we had a fun day planned! :]

Tumblr media
New York was a magical blur, full of food, movie scenes, strolling and busy days! The main reason we came to our bucket list city (can’t believe we haven’t already!), was to get the 1 jab vaccine - making it easier to continue travelling East and to get into the UK later down the line.
After another(!) full on, stressful flight (we almost missed our connecting leg, after a self transfer and delays), we landed in La Guardia airport on Sunday evening. Our hotel, The Belnord, was a couple of streets back from Central Park on Broadway (Upper West Side). After Archie had a Maccys in its birthplace, we got an early night, ready for a packed next few days.
Tumblr media
The priority on our first morning was getting the vaccine. New York have various pop ups scattered around the city, with the 1 jab Johnson & Johnson available to everyone including tourists. After we received our card, we headed for our first New York bagel at Absolute Bagels. We could write a separate blog all about the food we ate so after everyday we’ll write all the delicious things we ate and where from.
Tumblr media
Times Square was a box ticked on the first day, even though in the daytime, we were yet to see it at night, the lights still looked fab. One thing we’ve noticed in this short time is how lovely New Yorkers are. Always met with a smile, help and jokes. We then checked out central station. Unfortunately by 4pm onwards, we became REALLY ill after the vaccine, had a fever and chilled in our hotel room for the rest of the evening.
Food/drink highlights from our first day:
- breakfast at Absolute Bagels. Archie had a lox and cream cheese on sesame and Courtney had a cream cheese on plain. Both untoasted. There was a huge queue when we arrived, always a good sign.
- Before lunch, we stumbled across a couple Irish guys drinking DRAUGHT Guinness in a bar and after 6.5 months, Archie was so excited to finally have one.
- Our first pizza slices were at Joe’s Pizza, world famous and amazing.
Tumblr media
LUCKILY, we woke up feeling great. So got out early to tick some more things off the list. We had cookies for breakfast and strolled in Central Park, visiting Strawberry Fields and rowing on the lake. Thanks for the present, Lauren!
We then went to Ground Zero, which was emotional before walking around Greenwich Village. The Friend’s apartment and Carries Apartment from SATC had many onlookers, and after visiting Stonewall we went to walk the High Line, with views of the city.
Tumblr media
Making up for our time ill last night, we headed to the oldest Irish bar in NY. McSorley’s. With the menu consisting of only dark and light beer, sawdust laid on the floor and many parts of the furniture being original from 1854 - it was a cosy and amazing place. With a recommendation from the server, we headed to Swift, another Irish bar around the corner and spent the early hours chatting to the locals and bevvin!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Food/drink highlights from our second day:
- breakfast was a cookie review for the top rated in NY, one from Jacques and the other from Levain’s. Levains was definitely our favourite, chunkier and more gooey
- A NY hot dog from a stand in Central Park
- Small takeout Indian roti
- Shared pizza pie from John’s on Bleeker Street - hands down the best pizza we’ve both ever had
- Magnolia bakery for a cupcake
- McSorleys and Swift for a pub vibe
The third day, feeling a LITTLE hungover but much more to see, we got the subway to Wall St for a bagel at Leo’s then the Staten Island Ferry to see the Statue of Liberty. The ferry was free and easy, the statue was much smaller than we expected! After, we walked along to river under the Brooklyn Bridge before getting some Indian/Jewish lunch in East Village.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We had tickets to see the Knicks at Madison Square Gardens! Thanks Piff and Beez!! After meeting Archie’s friend from school, we headed for the game. What an experience. We loved every minute of it!
Food/drink highlights from our third day:
- hangover bagel at Leo’s. Courtney had a toasted butter on sesame, Archie had a sesame bagel with cream cheese
- Archie’s much awaited-for pastrami on rye from Katz. A popular, old school diner in the Jewish quarter. Where the famous scene from Harry met Sally was filmed
- Courtney ate at a recommend Indian deli, Punjabi Deli for a cheap and delicious takeaway! Curry and samosa meal deals
- Taco Bell! It really just hits the spot of the convenience, price and taste spot
- Junior’s for a late night cheesecake in Times Square
Tumblr media
On our last day, we headed to the airport (after the best salad we’ve had at Chop’d) and wait for our next destination on this lucky, wonderful trip - Istanbul!
We’ve absolutely loved NY, as we knew we would and can’t wait to come back. I’m sure you can never do it all but next time, we will spend the time at museums, shows, exploring Brooklyn and eat our body weight in food again.

it is an unfortunate fact of genetics that my father and i are at our best at funerals. tragedy begets a sort of watery sentimentality that we are prone to in everyday life; it is a relief to have a capital-e Excuse. but grief, like joy, must always be tempered; in his eulogy for his sister, he says fuck twice and only i laugh, too loudly and too tall not to be noticed. later we mumble our way through the kaddish and i hold lauren’s hand while the chains are unlatched and bobcat rumbles up to finish the job. even later, i eat an unforgivable amount of lox and pretend not to hear questions about politics. in a photo on the memento table, my parents in 1995 are flushed and grinning and in love, his body leaned comfortably over hers. in 2020 they sit at the same round banquet table but with one empty chair positioned between them. i watch from across the room the way a child perched on the stairs at a party would, understanding that to get caught is to spoil the scene. that evening i will confess to lauren that i wish i had stolen the photo as some sort of proof or talisman, but before i can figure out which, we are landing & the cab line at jfk is mercifully short & we eat ice cream in bed & promise to love each other forever, or as well and as long as we can.

Because Internet was reviewed in Science Magazine, Real Simple, Booklist, and Library Journal, in addition to last month’s reviews. Here’s what Science Magazine says about it:
A compelling narrative rich with examples from her own online activities, a healthy dose of humor, and plenty of cat memes… the breadth of topics covered—from conversation analysis to meme culture to the development of texting as we now know it—makes this book useful, engaging, and enjoyable.
I did book-related threads about expanding the linguistics bookshelf and the public lending right and how you can order a book you’re excited about from your local public or academic library.
Because Internet is out on July 23rd! That’s just over a week away! Preorders all count towards a book’s first week sales, and the first week is the best chance that a book has of getting on any kind of bestseller list, so if you’re planning on getting it, I’d greatly appreciate if you got it now!
I’m also having a book launch party in Montreal on July 31 — if you’re in the Montreal area, I hope to see you there! You can get free tickets here via Eventbrite.
My latest article for Wired was about the Archive of Our Own and how fans are better than tech at organizing information online. (Plus: a delightful coda.) Excerpt:
On AO3, users can put in whatever tags they want. (Autocomplete is there to help, but they don’t have to use it.) Then behind the scenes, human volunteers look up any new tags that no one else has used before and match them with any applicable existing tags, a process known as tag wrangling.
Wrangling means that you don’t need to know whether the most popular tag for your new fanfic featuring Sherlock Holmes and John Watson is Johnlock or Sherwatson or John/Sherlock or Sherlock/John or Holmes/Watson or anything else. And you definitely don’t need to tag your fic with all of them just in case. Instead, you pick whichever one you like, the tag wranglers do their work behind the scenes, and readers looking for any of these synonyms will still be able to find you.
This month’s main episode of Lingthusiasm was about why spelling is hard — but also hard to change (with a great tweet about the French circonflexe accent and English) and the bonus episode was North, left, or towards the sea — direction words with Alice Gaby (plus a thread about direction words).
I read the first two Murderbot Diaries novellas and livetweeted my linguistic thoughts about them. I also read This Is How You Lose The Time War, which I was not able to livetweet yet since it was still an advance copy, but it was excellent and I strongly recommend it.
I’m featured in Lauren Gawne’s Linguistics Jobs series at Superlinguo, talking about how I became an internet linguist.
Selected tweets:
Nicknames that I have for my pet wugs (there are two of them)
A collaborative linguistics rewrite of Bohemian Rhapsody
Internet laughter in Korean
Bullet comments
I managed to find a linguistic angle to a major Canadian sporting event
It’s only a…sparkling meme: linguistics, memes, wugs
Straw poll on voice memos in texting apps
Alternative uses of the № symbol?
A 138-page pdf about language museums around the world
Selected blog posts:
An analysis of the meaning behind different kinds of screenshots
Bohemian Rhapsody but linguistics
Things that should happen in a sci fi story with a universal translator
Lox: the English word that hasn’t changed in sound or meaning in 8000 years
Bridging the internet’s digital language divide
A step-by-step guide to drawing syntax trees, with gifs
Early reviews for Because Internet
Are your teens secretly texting about languages using ISO-639-3 codes?
This month’s featured image is the first finished copy of Because Internet, which was sent to me in the mail! It looks like a real book! (Just hanging out on one of our Lingthusiasm esoteric symbols scarves, which matches it perfectly.) Front and back photos, because I can’t resist.
My newsletter for June 2019: First finished copy of #BecauseInternet, plus fandom tags on Wired Because Internet was reviewed in Science Magazine, Real Simple, Booklist, and Library Journal…

What sorts of food, if any, have you suddenly taken a liking to that you used to dislike?Conversely, which do you not like that you used to like? I'm curious as I only recently found out I like spinach after years of thinking I hated it. Or like a colleague of mine hated red onions... tried some for the first time in years and now eat a them often. Oh and lastly... ever played Dungeons and Dragons? I had a look through your Tumblr and couldn't see anything suggesting either way.
Liking: I don't know if any of these count as sudden but I eat a lot of raw or undercooked fish, lox, oysters, clams, very pink pork, bloody steak, mustard, funky cheeses, mix up all the cocktails, occasionally enjoy mushrooms (my most loathed of all foods), cook with wine, and I know I'm overlooking some things because they're commonplace for me these days. I think it's normal for one's palate to change over time as your horizons are broadened. Even if I dislike something one place I will try it again later, just to see. For example I don't like uni. I say that only having had it once, but very uniy and I don't know what could be done to improve its jizz of the ocean flavor and rotten avocado texture, but there it is. I'll eat it at some point again, once a menu description proves to tempting for me to resist. It will not be plain, but will need to be flavored, perhaps adorning the top of a sushi roll and thus will be masked by other flavors and textures. We'll see! I like spinach but I can see how some people would not. Recently I discovered how good Swiss Chard can be. I need to work more of that into my diet.
Dislike: I don't eat imitation crab. That was the only kind we ever had growing up and I would eat it whenever I could in many different preparations. But now? Nope. Meyhem Lauren sums it up best "I don't preach violence. But if anyone gives you imitation crab meat, immediately harm them." I get annoyed at sushi restaurants a lot. And keep that shitty little fish cake off my ramen! I also don't eat instant mashed potatoes, store-bought ramen, chicken nuggets, frozen meals, corned beef, boxed scalloped potatoes, pancake syrup ie fake maple, canned tuna, Country Time lemonade, margarine, mixed meat ie maybe pork or maybe raccoon anus hot dogs, or pre-ground pepper anymore. Those were all considered staples, and I enjoyed them. But once you've had the good stuff you can't go back to the crap.
And I’ve never played D&D. I kind of want to but I don’t have the time or friends circle.
Thanks for interesting ask! It’s been a crazy week and I needed this. 💖💖💖

Neural network-generated roller derby names
Or, this neural network is terrible at puns.
There’s a contact roller skate sport called roller derby where participants tend to use pseudonyms when they play. There are online databases of derby names so players can make sure their chosen name hasn’t been taken. Derby names are often mock-violent and/or sexy, but their most distinguishing feature is that most are based on puns. (The Wikipedia page has examples with the puns excruciatingly explained)
I learned all this when Lauren Barmore (aka Z Machine) sent me the full dataset of names from twoevils.org and derbyrollcall.com. She was one of several people who suggested I train a neural network on derby names. As with craft beers, coming up with a unique but clever name has become a challenge (there were more than 66k in the dataset she sent me), and she wondered if a neural network would be able to help generate new names.
The neural networks I train learn by example, and are good at mimicking the sounds and rhythms and common words of their input datasets (here, I used textgenrnn). With the derby names, it was the best at the “violence” category, although it sometimes forgot about the “playful” part.
Blood-Slug Shady Bruise Miss Carnage Darth Death Spank Bomb Vicious Killer Lil Hunter Fun Stabs Pain Pain The Danger Boom Storm Princess Damage Shredda Gore Fatal Strike Gore Storm Bruise Bruiser Rage Hatchet Battle of Bop Destroyer Smash JoJo The Murder Zog Mangler Bonnie Skullmall Princess Morgue Hey Pain Bear Rage Danger Boom Box The Fight Eye Command Screaming Boom Chaos
Most of the time, I couldn’t tell what category it was going for. At least these names aren’t taken.
The Comma Rude Professor Lox O'Horror Mayhem Chicken Triple Cookie Snow Warn Badger Bambi Eat-A-Skate Moon Mage Bruised Toast Show Cat Emma Sand Chaos Hubbles Lil Panter Duck Chains Shell Piper Secret Booty Cat Hand Stomps Scream Ass Ele Strawberry Pusher Butter Mack Dash Rumble Floobie Sauce Bang Whip Short Maim Shellbull Damage Bunny Farm Slayer Pug Mile Peach Atom Bog Quad It The Skater Slurrs. Buggg The Fusty Eyes Flubblestrack Nurfie Boops of Jenni Morgunn Grace Shrimp
It also generated some horrible names I would not recommend. (Unless, perhaps, you are a bombardier beetle.) These are the printable ones.
Butty Destroy Anus Attack Booty Butter Colon Boom Skillz Bud Crack Hell Poo Drop Nightmare Lump
You’ll notice I have not gotten to the largest category of derby names: the puns. It turns out this neural network does not understand puns AT ALL, and it’s incredibly painful when it tries.
Kim Stroyer Mary Splockings Ikra B. Up Aana Dastrophe Burning Sweet C. Bang Lucious Ally Mo Alotiboot Cheesella Anita WreckPIED Miss A. It Menace Ace 'N' Hardy Pan De Lucious Pitty Tea N. Little Shota Monster Dizard Danky Maul Frankin De Fight Silence Stroye La Vandastrophe Harry Stabble Sugar & Stranger Slamm-Tonic
It’s positively weird. They’re pun-shaped objects that contain no actual puns. Occasionally one of its puns alllmost works and I think that’s somehow even worse.
Prince Slam Lot Booty Count Dawn Pain Ferri Punchlime Boot Skateer The Sweet Roll Bone Damned Killer Strongulate
It also tried to do the “sexy” category, but it was pretty bad at it. From what I can tell, text-generating neural networks do not understand what humans find sexy. Again, these are the printable ones.
Body Sparkly Death Hot Sporty Darth Sugar Sanderwear Rotten Sassy Booty-Slammer Big Mighty Danger Sass Dirty Scream!
For the UNprintable ones, as well as a huge list of >500 unsorted derby names (most of which are terrible not-puns), become a supporter of AI Weirdness.

Episode 153 : Audio Visuals
"Seasoning drippin' off of my style, I dress tastefully..."
- Meyhem Lauren
It's Feburary once again, and so we dig into the catalogues of J Dilla, Big Pun, and Big L as we mark the anniversaries of their passings. Alongside those gems. we have some excellent brand new releases and some rarities from the vaults. You should definitely have some tunes to add to your shopping list after listening to this one!

Playlist/Notes
Semi Six : It's On
I would have called this the brand new single, but Semi Six dropped another straight after this with the quickness! Just heavy business from this Detroit booth incinerator, with the hook and the sample incorporated into it coming from Biggie's classic "Who Shot Ya?" Tuamie, who did the production on the recent "Assorted Fries" EP, comes with the heat again - a modern boom-bap sound with some nice extra touches. And you know that "LOX vs Dipset" line he spit is facts!
Jay Dee : Dreamy
Here we have the more chilled side to the late Jay Dee's style, taken from his "Vintage" EP - which is now available on Bandcamp, and an essential for those who appreciate this kind of vibe.
Big Pun : That's How We Roll
Apologies for the sound quality - I know it's pretty rough! This is a white label I picked up from somewhere, and while it shares the same lyrics as the track of the same name from the "Endangered Species" album, the beat is completely different. I'm not going to mention the sample, but you probably recognise it, and I can only imagine that they couldn't clear the sample. Anyway, I definitely prefer this version, and I've always found it interesting how an MC as rugged and raw as Pun could sound absolutely at home on such relatively gentle instrumentals.
De La Soul : Goes With The Word
One of the landmark Dilla beats was the monster he delivered for De La Soul's "Stakes Is High", and so they'll always be tightly associated; had he lived, I'm sure they'd have produced many more classics. Sadly, it wasn't to be, but De La remix their "D.A.I.S.Y" as "Da Inner Sound Of Yancey" on this mixtape, combining re-interpretations of their own lyrics with J Dilla beats from the vaults. In this case, the beat entitled "Don't Say A Word" is repurposed underneath a version of De La's "Potholes In My Lawn".
Devin Morrison : No
As well as being a great artist in his own right, Onra clearly knows how to spot talent, signing the Orlando native Devin Morrison to his own label and then letting him do his thing on the way to the release of the 2019 "Bussin'" album. This is the lead single, and is pretty much impossible not to like! Somewhat reminiscent of what is often called neo-soul, this definitely isn't stuck in the past and and Devin's production and tastefully-processed vocals sound up to date with a classic feel. Just dopeness.
J Dilla ft. Amp Fiddler : Let's Pray Together
You're not imagining things if you think you recognise the beat - this was previously used by Common on "Dooinit", but it gets a welcome re-airing on this track from the "Rebirth Of Detroit" album. Amp Fiddler is a Detroit legend who preceded J Dilla, and in fact mentored him and gave him his first MPC!
[Tall Black Guy] Essa : The Middle Man (Remix Instrumental)
It's been a long while since I played the vocal version of this track on the podcast, so I thought I'd break out Tall Black Guy's instrumental. The vinyl is sold out I believe, but you can still buy this excellent single in digital form.
Big L : Casualties Of A Dice Game (9th Wonder Remix)
People in the know tell us that we were yet to see Big L reach the height of his powers before he was tragically taken from the world. That's quite something when you hear the skill level he'd already attained, as demonstrated here on one of his classic street storytelling rhymes. You might know the lyrics from his posthumously released "The Big Picture", but on "The DITC Remix Project" the tense Ron Browz beat is removed in favour of an instrumental by 9th Wonder with a kind of mournful feel - both versions are appropriate, given how the story ends.
Waajeed ft. Invincible : The Place Where We Dwell
This is an interesting record, with the original "The Place Where We Dwell" as recorded by Gang Starr to big up their home of Brooklyn being reinterpreted with a Detroit-based remake. There are some sonic similarities, as Waajeed works the same base sample, but puts his own twist on it. Invincible does their adopted home proud with her bars - as Guru was with Brooklyn, Invincible was a transplant to Detroit. Solid cut from "The War LP".
A Tribe Called Quest : Same Ol' Thing
This is a Tribe cut that might have passed you by - an Ummah production (you'll hear the J Dilla in it) which didn't appear on any Tribe records until "Hits, Rarities & Remixes" but was a highlight of the "Men In Black" soundtrack. The bump and low end is immaculate, and concentrating the beat in that range leaves plenty of space for Q-Tip's comparatively higher tone to cut through as he goes solo on the mic.
Black Moon ft. Tek : Roll Wit Me
As I say on the voiceover, I'd recommend giving "Rise Of Da Moon" album a listen if you haven't already if you're a fan of the golden 90s. Banging boom-bap for the 21st century...they have it! Buckshot and Tek on the mic give you that consistent BCC connection on the mic, and Da Beatminerz are sounding as solid as ever.
J Dilla : Dillatronic 09
I would love to have heard MCs tearing up some of these beats, but they were just offcuts to J Dilla in his time. In contrast to "Dreamy" as heard earlier, this is the grimy and electronic side to his style, which you can hear more of on the "Dillatronic" collection - most of the tracks are very short, but still interesting to hear.
Meyhem Lauren & Harry Fraud : Steamed Monkfish (Remix)
The "Glass 2.0" project was a worthy follow-up to the first project from the Queens MC/amateur chef/fashion collector, and this standout track made my pick for the "Groovement 10" a little while back. Meyhem is always one for a good food reference or a completely off-the-wall intro (as heard here) or adlib, and the rhymes are always top-notch. This remix (both versions were produced by Harry Fraud) definitely outdoes the original in my opinion, with an elegant ruggedness playing the banging drums off against generous helpings of strings.
Kaytranada ft. BADBADNOTGOOD : Weight Off
Even though I predominantly play instrumentals on the podcast as beds between segments, I was enjoying a listen to this and thought it would be a nice one to hear breathe! If you haven't already got the "99.9%" album, you're missing out - Kaytranada is an excellent producer/composer, and this collab with Toronto's BADBADNOTGOOD is just one example.
Curren$y & Harry Fraud : Seven Seas (Miami Nights Mix)
We head to the "Bonus Footage" EP for more of Curren$y's patented rhyme style in combination with the production of recurring collaborator Harry Fraud.  The low boom adds some gravity to the gliding synths and skittering hi-hat pattern, which is a similar construction to the original from "The OutRunners" but with different sounds - you'll get where I'm coming from if you listen to both back-to-back.
Benny The Butcher ft. J Cole : Johnny P's Caddy
I think this is an absolutely outstanding track, and it's a new release I put my money down on immediately even though I'll likely buy the upcoming "Tana Talk 4" as well. Alchemist supplies a brooding instrumental as Benny puts his lifetime in between the paper's lines (RIP Prodigy) on the opening verse, before J Cole - who might not strike you as an obvious choice of guest star - kills it on the second. As I often insist - those who say no good new Hip-Hop is coming out nowadays simply isn't paying attention.
[Harry Fraud] Eddie B : Nike Slogans (Instrumental)
The "The Johnny Utah Story" project by Eddie B and Harry Fraud is one we've visited a few times, and the fact that it came with all the instrumentals as well is great for the DJs among us! I needed something with just a touch of darkness to lead into the final track, and this one fit the bill...
Method Man ft. Iron Mic : Last 2 Minutes
The only appropriate place to play this track is at the very end! An absolutely fire new single by Method Man alongside the battle rapper Iron Mic, if this is indicative of the quality of the upcoming "Meth Lab 3 : The Rehab" then it'll be a must-purchase! The rhymes are razor-sharp and the production fits like a glove, courtesy of Chris Wellz and Genius On The Beat. Definitely nothing to play after this!
Please remember to support the artists you like! The purpose of putting the podcast out and providing the full tracklist is to try and give some light, so do use the songs on each episode as a starting point to search out more material. If you have Spotify in your country it's a great way to explore, but otherwise there's always Youtube and the like. Seeing your favourite artists live is the best way to put money in their pockets, and buy the vinyl/CDs/downloads of the stuff you like the most!
Check out this episode!

I had some troubles with Moana and Pochahontas face claims. Most of the Moana facelclaims are filipino and Pochahontas face claims are part native american.
