Udit Narayan - Bholi Si Surat 1997
Dil To Pagal Hai (The Heart Is Crazy) is a 1997 Indian Hindi-language musical romance film directed by Yash Chopra. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Karisma Kapoor and Akshay Kumar. It was the third film to feature Shah Rukh Khan opposite Madhuri Dixit, with two more to come, including the international hit Devdas (2002).
Made on a budget of ₹90 million (US$2.48 million), which includes print and advertising costs, Dil To Pagal Hai grossed over ₹710 million (US$19.55 million) worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing film of the year. (But tbh, personally I think it's only watchable because of its soundtrack.)
The soundtrack of Dil To Pagal Hai includes 10 songs. The songs for the film were composed by Uttam Singh, while the lyrics were written by Anand Bakshi. Most of the songs were sung by Lata Mangeshkar and Udit Narayan. The music was a major hit among the audience, with the album becoming the best-selling Bollywood soundtrack of the year and second-most of the 1990s decade, with 12.5 million soundtrack album sales. In 2008, Chopra launched an unreleased song from the soundtrack, titled "Chanda Ki Chandni (Kitni Hai Bekarar Yeh)" sung by Lata Mangeshkar & Kumar Sanu.
"Bholi Si Surat" received a total of 71% yes votes!

While we’re I’llJustWaitHereThen.mp3 for Act Two of The Winchesters -or rather thee reboot, which should be known for the extra high bar it’s gained this year- I’d like us to round off 2023 considering a song choice from the finale I haven’t seen discussed, but illuminates Dean’s path going forward.
The moment Dean, Jack, Bobby, and Baby disappear, “One of These Things First” by Nick Drake plays. For the curious, Nick Drake is ingrained in the cultural consciousness as a precursor to the likes of Kurt Cobain and Elliott Smith for his musical talent, melancholic lyrics drawn from a troubled life, and (at 26, one year too young for the original 27 Club of Jimi Janis Jim Morrison) untimely tragic death.
Such allusions seem all too pertinent to our not-so-Mystery Man who’d also sooner burn out than fade away, huh? But first and foremost, “One of These Things First” here evokes the multiverse reveal - playing over scenes of Lata helping restore Ada’s soul and Mary and Samuel parting. The characters could be any number of things, but as Mary says of her possible alternate selves, “I’m gonna make my own”; with the meta knowledge that Dean is “picking the music” non-diegetically, this track’s relevance to his own life (and death) becomes apparent.
I could have been a sailor, could have been a cook A real live lover, could have been a book
From the start we see well-chosen lyrics for thee episode of Dean “Hello Sailor” Winchester; it goes without saying, here and in the series’ deafeningly loud negative space, how Dean’s desire to be “a real live lover” drives his search for happy endings in this Supernatural Romance. Genius.com notes that “a book” in Nick Drake’s metaphor means “someone who spent their time gaining knowledge about the world”; leaving them his own book, evidently a record of Supernatural’s main events and likely intended as a setup for revelations about his postseries shenanigans, Dean becomes their absent guide opposite John’s original series role through his journal.
I could have been a signpost, could have been a clock As simple as a kettle, steady as a rock
Following lyrics about metaphorical objects also evoke Dean’s role as a guide - but given his view that “I think I did” find a model for his found family’s happiness in them, it goes both ways (and so does he).
I could be here and now I would be, I should be, but how?
These last few lyrics played in the episode call to mind the final undying core of Dean’s self-doubt: his inability to move on, like so many restless spirits parallel him. Dean’s sensation that he is not “here and now,” being unstuck in time and lamenting that he’s “already dead,” highlights his distance from the lead characters and their sense of closure - as does his use of the James Hetfield alias as a false name, dodging the central question of Who You Are. For all his heroism, Dean’s role as the central mystery never fully solved implicates him as the haunting force derailing another story into his own as much as any reality-warping trauma parasites.
Minding all these exhortations to mind the gap, it’s absolutely relevant that the episode omits a second verse centering on romantic longings. (It wouldn’t be the first time - “So on your woman and your child/You release your bitterness,” anyone?)
I could have been your pillar, could have been your door I could have stayed beside you, could have stayed for more I could have been your statue, could have been your friend A whole long lifetime could have been the end
Mary and Samuel’s exchange (“Be safe out there” “I love you too, kiddo”) continues the theme of Just Saying It before any goodbye - acknowledging you can say “I love you” without saying it and be understood. But apropos of everything, the romantic pair never exchanges what they promise they will on reuniting - at once begging the same question as Dean’s aborted love confession(s) to Cas (indicting the heteronormative double standard that makes the answer “obvious” here) and keeping their promise of no goodbyes, meaning “Ramble On” with its tale of a romantic reunion can only refer to one yet to come.
So with Dean left to learn that death is no goodbye for him either, The Winchesters reaffirms Supernatural’s humanistic heart: the conviction that -whether for great artists we romanticize or fictional characters representing our values- we need not mythologize and bemoan death as “robbing” the world of someone’s promise at the expense of affirming the intrinsically worthy human life as they are now and forever (we will all live forever no matter how dead we may sometimes seem to be). A life cut tragically short was still a life worth living, and its legacy one worth carrying on. And I can think of no truth more apt from the series cut short at 13 traxx we will nevertheless replay and remix and resonate with for years to come.
As we ramble on to future installments, I reiterate: “If you had the chance to do it all over again, would you?” “I followed my heart. I don’t think that’s ever a mistake.”
#consider this my ''sleep well'' to the other coolest queer show I know#just heard Ramble On ONCE AGAIN on the car radio the universe is tryna tell me something!#the winchesters#it's underrated due for a reboot#supernatural#spn#dean winchester#destiel#spn meta#spnwin 1.13#mine

Sol de México 🕷️
in which Miguel doesn't know the sun of Mexico
w/c: 1.4K
pairing: uneducated!miguel x latine!reader
tags: fluff!!! miguel doesn't know luismi, uncultured, sm spanish w somewhat accurate translations (got lazy for the rest of the song oops), you try to convince him to listen, he does, loves his music omg
notes: I incorporated luismi bc miguel is an old man he would fucking LOVE boleros!!! also wrote easy money I before and after I went to his concert💅🏼
I was chilling in the cafeteria jamming out to Luis Miguel's discography when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I take one side of my headphones off and look up to see Miguel. "What's up?"
"I need you for this mission." He says and I nod standing up.
I grab the other end of my headphone and leave it wrapped around my neck as I hear the beautiful tune of Luismi's version of Sabor a Mi. My eyes lit up as I can still slightly hear it considering I had the volume high, who cares if I lose my hearing so young?
Miguel starts walking and I follow suit, mouthing along the lyrics to the romantic bolero. "Tanto tiempo disfrutamos de este amor. Nuestras almas se acercaron, tanto así" (For so long we have enjoyed this love. Our souls have gotten close enough)
Then I start humming the lyrics while we walk to the front of HQ. "Que yo guardo tu sabor. Pero tú llevas también. Sabor a mí" (That I now keep your taste, but you also keep. The taste of me)
Miguel side eyes me making me quickly shut up and he just shakes his head, "who are you listening to?"
I raise an eyebrow then smile, "Luismi!" I answer excitedly.
He just shrugs and I gasp, "No lo conoces?!?" (You don't know him?!?)
He shakes his head making my mouth nearly fall to the floor, "Como es posible- como- no lo conoces porque vives abajo de una roca o nomás no existía en tu universo?" I ask and he stops, giving me a glare making me bite my lip to refrain from laughing. (How is that possible? Do you not know him because you live under a rock or because he doesn't exist in your universe?)
"Nunca he escuchado ese nombre- como dijiste- Luismi? Que tipo de nombre es ese?" He snorts and I smack his shoulder as if he just said the most offensive thing imaginable. (I haven't heard that name- how'd you say- Luismi? What type of name is that?)
"Luis Miguel, guarda tus palabras cabron ese hombre es el sol de Mexico." I say pointing a finger at him as he starts walking again. (Be careful with your words bitch that man is the sun of Mexico)
"Pues no en mi Mexico." He mutters and I roll my eyes. (Well not in my Mexico)
"Voy a cambiar eso." I say and grin, quickly following him as he opens up a portal. (I'll change that)
"Oye Escorpión, tu conoces al sol de México?" I ask as I swing behind Scorpion and quickly web up his long ass tail. (Hey scorpion, do you know the sun of Mexico?)
"Is now really a good time to ask that-" Miguel chimes in webbing up the rest of his body as he raises an eyebrow.
"Luismi?" He asks and I laugh.
"Exacto." I say and look over at Miguel who rolled his eyes. (Exactly)
I created a portal as Miguel dragged Scorpion through it and we walked through the portal for a bit before walking through the other portal that led to where we keep the anomalies. "Almost too easy." I say and grin as Scorpion scoffs from the floor.
"No menti pero no te ofendas hiciste lo más que podías." I say making him groan and mutter swears at me. (I didn't lie, but don't get offended you did the most you could do)
Miguel hands him off to a few of the spiders who put him in a force field like cage and we walk back. "You're something else." He mutters making me grin.
"We already caught his ass and won't ever see him again it'll be fineeee." I say letting out a chuckle while he shakes his head.
"Eres algo más." He repeats and I laugh. (You're something else)
"Now let me put you on with some Luismi songs-"
"No-"
"Como que no-" (what do you mean no-)
"Que no-"
"Porque?!?" (Why?!?)
"Ya me diste lata con todo de tu mentado 'Luismi'-" he says and waves me off. (you've annoyed me with everything about your mentioned)
"No me ofendas O'Hara." I snarl making sure to enunciate his last name in Spanish. (Don't offend me)
"It's O-Hair-a-"
"Me valeee- si se escucha como Guadalajara así lo voy a decir." I snap back realizing I'm sounding like my tias back home, oh god. (I don't care- if it sounds like Guadalajara that's how I'm going to say it)
"Con el pinche nopalote en la frente y quieres que diga O'hara- por favor Miguel." I tease saying his last name like he wants me to and he just sighs. (With the fucking cactus on your forehead and you want me to say O'Hara- please. this only makes sense if you've heard it, it's like being able to tell someone is Mexican bc of your forehead)
"Y tu nombre se escucha súper más mejor completamente en español." I say and shrug as we finally made our way back to the cafeteria. (And your name sounds so much better completely in Spanish)
"Why do I put up with you-"
"Because you can't help but need to speak to another fellow hispanic spider! It's okay Miguel, I know I make you feel like home-"
"No exageres-" (don't exaggerate)
"I wasn't it was simply the truth." I say and fight back a smirk.
He chuckles and takes a seat at a table motioning for me to sit, I do and look up at him. He looks right back at me and we end up doing a little staring competition until he speaks up, "give me two recommendations-"
"La media vuelta y sabor a mi- espera no, hasta que me olvides- no- la bikina- pero la incondicional-" I blurt out then unsure of which ones I wanted him to listen to. (these are song names and I recommend them all<3)
"Nomas dos-" (only two-)
"La media vuelta y hasta que me olvides." I say and nod.
He sighs and pulls out his phone quickly writing something down. "You're gonna love them I promise!" I say and smile.
"Which one was the one you sang earlier?" He asks making my cheeks burn realizing I sang in front of him. Que vergüenza. (how embarrassing.)
"Uh it was sabor a mi. It's technically not his song, it's a Mexican bolero but I just love his version." I explain and he nods.
"Alright I'll report back to you soon and see if I like them-" he says but I had to interrupt.
"You will."
"Yeah yeah- and we'll see if he has good reason to be named 'el sol de México'" he says making me snort.
"Hold on this man isn't even Mexican-" Miguel says making me burst out laughing.
"Do not tell me you googled him-"
"I had to know more- and I did end up liking the songs so I wanted to see what he looked like and where he was from only to learn he was born in Puerto Rico-"
"Listen-"
"He isn't even Mexican-"
"His music is! And he grew up there so he counts as a Mexican!" I say and he just gives me a deadpan look.
"I'm serious- and he literally loves the culture, country, and music. That's where his heart belongs." I say and bite my lip trying hard to not laugh because of the look he was giving me.
"'Sol de México' my ass." He scolds making me clasp my hands over my mouth.
I was sitting on a chair in Miguel's desk, writing up a report while singing along to Sabor a Mi again. It was just so pretty and romantic, the melody was addicting to my ears and I felt a warm fuzzy feeling whenever I listened to it.
"Pasarán más de mil años, muchos más. Yo no sé si tenga amor la eternidad. Pero allá, tal como aquí. En la boca llevarás. Sabor a mí." I sing along and stop writing because I was getting into it.
I breathe in then continue, "No pretendo ser tu dueño. No soy nada yo no tengo vanidad. De mi vida doy lo bueno. Soy tan pobre, ¿qué otra cosa puedo dar?"
Then I hear Miguel walking towards me and singing? "Pasarán más de mil años, muchos más. Yo no sé si tenga amor la eternidad. Pero allá, tal como aquí en la boca llevarás, sabor a mí."
I turn to face him, mouth and eyes wide open making him chuckle, "me gusto mucho esa canción." He says and shrugs. (I really liked that song)
"Esta bonita verdad?" I ask and he nods. (It's pretty right?)
"Tan bonita." He says giving me a warm smile. (So pretty)
"Tal ves si es el sol de México...." He mumbles making me grin.

Hello my government assigned mcyt Halloween @mcyt-halloween person @ravagerrush >:DDDD I come to you, humbly, with a playlist! It is double life Pearl themed!! Yayy we love to see it! I tried to arrange something with a wide variety of music, so that maybe some of it is to your liking or maybe you'll find some new stuff you'll like!
The cover of the Playlist is an, unfortunetly reused, but still my, fanart of double life pearl. (At first I wanted to make you a very nice double life pearl themed fanart, but my laptop exploded and it does not turn on anymore lol so I hope a playlist will be fine with you too )
So here's a link to the Playlist, I hope you enjoy it and I greatly reccomend listening to it in order because the Playlist is split into 3 main themes: part 1 (very short) the begining of the season, it's about the whole themes of double life and life series, part 2 double life pearl when she's on green and yellow life! This is a part where I tried to choose songs with themes of abandonment or unrequited love, being an outcast or disliked. And part 3, the longest and my favourite one, is about Pearl on red life! Many more violent, or wolf themed songs, loneliness and anger and revenge!!!
And if you'd like to go into depth of each or most songs here is a short list of what means what, how did I interpret the songs to fit the theme:
Part1:
1. Rule#1 - Magic - Fish in a birdcage
2. Everybody falls in love - *repeat repeat
3. Cavalry - Shayfer James
4.Saddam - AlicebanD
Those three songs are the introduction to Double life as a theme! The last one is somewhat a transition song theme wise, because though to me it's also about life series and how it is, it has some more lyrics that focus on Pearl
Part 2:
5. Here I am - The Crane Wives
Direct song about how Pearl got abandoned by Scott and wasn't able to team up with anyone else
6. The taste of cockroach - MARETU
It's a song about bullying and exclusion of some individuals. I do reccomend reading the translated lyrics (also the song is just really good I love it)
7.Where's Casey - Alec Holowka
8. Worms - AlicebanD
9. Jagna - L. U. C, Rebel Babel Film Orchestra
I think this one fits only if you've seen the movie 'Chłopi' from last year or if you've read the book that has the same title. Its a story about a girl who gets hated and exiled and excluded from the rest of the village. They say she's a bad omen too. And also it's a very beautiful track from the movie!
10. Duvet - boa
11. Fire with Fire - AlicebanD
12. I don't smoke - Mitski
All three songs are related to the relationship between Pearl and Scott
13. Usotsuki - matsushita
Though it's a love song, about unrequited feelings, I added it cause first and foremost it's a banger. And also to me it fits
14. Shoujo - Zetsubo-P
I think this one really fits how Pearl purposefully hurt herself and Scott
15. The well - The Crane Wives
Being bound to soulmates and dragging each other down by sharing health
16. Koniec lata - L.U.C
Another 'Chłopi' ost. Though this one is the end song! It has a lot of themes with nature and freedom. Running away. Change and new good things that will come back when spring comes again
17. Sin eater - Penelope Scott
Do I just really like the 'soul has never taken any damage' line? Yup. But also not being good enough.
18. 電気予報 (Denki Yohou) - inabakumori
Welp
It's a song about catching pokemon but if you get more into it It could also be about toxic relationships and wanting to have someone who doesn't want to be yours.
19. It gets better - AlicebanD
Part 3:
20. 超暗黒幻想 - kiichi
This one I just really like and I think it has this ominous sound that it fits as a marker for turning red
21. Left behind - Dagames
Okay, i know, fnaf song in dl Pearl playlist? What the heck! But don't worry, there's a second one lol. So yeah left behind, pretty self explanatory
22. Dear dictator - Saint Motel
People fearing you when you're red, yeah thas all
23. I'm gonna win - Rob Cantor
24. Everything's dead - The Dead Brothers
This whole song is very red life coded
25. формалин - Fleur
This one's also a very vaguely red life coded. Read the lyrics cause they're good
26. Камень - Fleur
Read lyrics. It's about being unstoppable and unbreakable
27. Red with love - Pom pom squad
Red life pearl going craaazy
28. Butcher vanity - Vane lily
Being blood hungry red life yayy
29. 原風景その3 - kiichi
30. [I Love You] - kiichi
Those two songs are a pack deal. They give the best effect when listening to one after the other.
31. Spiracle - Flower Face
Red life bloodlust combined with the soulmates theme of double life
32. Message lost - Ferry
33. Wolf - AlicebanD
34. Pełnia - Vołosi
So the last song and this one and the next one also have wolf themes and sound good. This one's title translates to full moon
35. The wolf - The Crane wives
36. Laplace's Angel - Will Wood
Hurt people? Hurt people!
37. Why I hate you - Iroharingo
Title says it all! Also it's a banger
38. How to crush a diamond - megurimeguru
Fitting for red life
39. Hell - Sumia
40. The mangle - Skyfixing, Nicole Gene
Yayy second fanf song. This time it's a red life going on a rampage kind of song. Revenge!!! And also the friends that are mentioned in the song are the wolves in Pearls case
41. Take me to war - The Crane Wives
42. Red River - AlicebanD
43. Cop car - Mitski
She will never die frfr
44. Born before - MARETU
having nothing to lose anymore
45. Love love nightmare - kiichi
The finalee at last! Read lyrics cause they fit real good
46. Homunculus - Trickle, Tikaal
This has very nice lyrics. Which to me fit the whole being reborn in future life series thing. It just fits life series as a whole yayy
And that's all! I hope you're not disappointed with the Playlist or it's length ':3
