i'd like to bring your attention to this poll, there's currently 1% difference between charles' and fernando's overtake on checo so if you liked what charles did, go vote for him before the poll closes on 30th november please <3

here are some stats about charles' overtake if you want reasons why to vote for him:

his hard tyres were 5 laps older

his tyres were rewarmed after a cooling period behind a safety car, whereas checo's newer ones were warmed under tyre blankets up until his late stop under a SC

he studied checo's driving style and noticed a small mistake in the last corner a few laps before the end followed by checo being very cautious in said corner

he didn't try to overtake checo in that corner so he wouldn't show his cards and checo wouldn't expect it on the last lap

he barely held onto DRS to recharge his batteries and used recuperation to be ready for the attack and thanks to that he created a speed 30 kmph faster than checo

despite that, he braked 10 meters later coming into the turn

the force used to step onto the brake pedal was worth 7G (estimated average is 5G)

he prepared everything for the very last corner of the very fast lap, because he had the confidence he could overtake and make it stick till the finish line
