coleaders klance who have each others back whilst arguing til they're blue in the face. a dignitary from a planet watching keith and lance argue and lance says something and runs away before keith can rebut it which leaves him scowling. the dignitary seeing this as their way in with the black paladin and saddling up to him and complaining about lance. keith doing a complete 180, his eyes going yellow and his skin slowly shifting purple as he glares at the alien and the alien panics and is just like "haha sike hes actually really cool and amazing and i would do anything he asks ahahahaplsdontkillmehaha"
a dignitary finding out keith is galran and seeing klance argue so he goes to lance, the red paladin and second in line should anything happen to the black paladin, and insulting keith's heritage and implying that should lance stage a coup then he'd have whatever planet the random alien is from in his corner. lance pasting on a wide, faux smile and "soothing" the aliens fears/concerns about keith being galran by saying that if their planet doesnt want a galran to save them then voltron wont force them to join the coalition and they can fight the empire themselves. the alien freaking bc hello??? their planet against the might of the galran empire?? they'd be crushed!! and the alien is just like "i meant no offense im so sorry pls dont leave us for dead"

When she's not running around as Ninja or Summoner , Arsay's next choice is the lance. Being bestowed a source of draconic power by Midgardsormr moments before his slumber, and knowing how to channel the powers of Bahamut with dreadwyrm trance, Arsay's power as a Dragoon rivals that of even the former Azure Dragoon. With that said, she'd much rather use her polearm to hunt monsters.

new predicament in my hgss playthrough: peep lance's team real quick for me
oops all flying types. oops all hard-hitters too. levels go pretty hard as well
now peep my daffy pals:
besides the glaring lack of effective STAB in my best men (sushi and maple) everyone is fragile as shit in some key ways and none is a good fit for the opening gyarados for that matter. i have 0 ideas as to how to get through this league hee hoo
#soda offers you a can#thorazine does get some pretty good moves by lv 45 which is my target level atm#but a lot of those a bug moves and lance is basically a bird catcher#sledge has no special defense and the only fully-physical fella on lance's party has thunder fang#maple only knows dual screens and grass STAB so he's not gonna see much action here#sushi's got aerial ace and strength besides fighting STAB. also swarm instead of guts. hee hoo#unburied has technician double hit which kinda bangs but her purpose is to be an agility baton passer#she's fragile. she doesn't hit hard enough to make up for the damage intake#scythe is also fragile with a lacking damage output. there's also a lot of electric/ice moves on lance's fellas#uhhh yeap. yup. this is probably gonna be a sucky time for ya boy

#woke up from my joy induced nap and HAD to post this.#probably only like 3 people even know what im talking about but. god. god god god god god god god.#im going to make a wings of fire au and its going to be epic and all of you are going to love it.#my one hangup is that bigwings is a mudwing thing and shiro would be a nightwing or maybe a skywing. but whatever#i thought about how clay was told he was a monster from birth bc he tried to smash the other eggs#but then he finds out that that was his instinctual urge to help them hatch brcause he was their bigwings.#and then i thought about shiro and well here we are. im ILL#keith would totally be a sandwing like#desert and fire dragon aside he would LOVE having a stabby tail he could stab with#hunk could be a mudwing. i still think im gonna give the bigwings thing to shiro but maybe hunk can also have a bit of it as a treat#idk im half asleep this au is only partially formed from the ether of my subconscious rn#lance seawing obviously#and pidge would probably be a rainwing#SEE IM COOKING#alternatively keith could maybe be a skywing with too much fire..........#no i think sandwing fits him better but i AM packing that thought away to consider in greater detail when im more awake#winter speaks#voltron#wof au#<- might be something. i dunno. we shall see.

thinking about that ford blood angel thing i made
#body horror#gore#blood#the gore and body horror is for what i'm about to say in the tags#reason why i was thinking about fucked up blood angel ford:#the first time i drew him his head was the same but the rest of his body was meat and bones and organs#(and i didn't remember this until now- but the wings were actually made of blood. this is not consistent with the next tags)#i thought. well why would his head remain untouched but his body wouldn't?#and then it hit me. the worst possible thing ever. the most disgusting thing ever#the wings are made up of the skin that's missing from the rest of his body#they aren't like actual wings- they're the intact flesh that was torn away to make a sort of two-part cloak#they resemble wings somewhat because of the fact that they fan out on either side of him#he can still use them to fly#another detail about this blood angel ford i don't think i ever mentioned- his weapon is a solidified shard of his own blood#whenever it upgrades it gets more durable and longer#so it goes from like. somewhat brittle dagger so you can't hit things too hard lest it break#to long lance that you can use to stab god in the face#anyway. sorry for bringing up blood angel ford. i'm sorry to him too for bringing him into existence
