Hello all! Strangely, although I’m sad to lose my job of twenty-five years, I know there are tons of opportunities for me. This is what I’ve been waiting for: the universe to tell me IT’S TIME. After months of job searching, retraining, and earning his Class A commercial driver’s license—a supposedly high-demand qualification—he finally found a job that seemed like a good fit. He was informed that the company was laying off employees due to financial hardship from political trade issues.

This last week has been really difficult. I was #laidoff from my long time career at #SouthwestAirlines with basically no contact from my coworkers. I've spent the last week updating my cv, website, and job accounts and have put in 150 or so applications. Any tech job hunting tips are appreciated ❤️

NGL if tumblr does go under, I'm screwed in saving everything bc I tried to download my entire 13 year archive and the .zip file was going to take DAYS to download.

So, I think my plan is to just... save some text posts from my tags (e.g all the E3 events, the various live blogs, my Year in Reviews. I think all my old gifs are still on my hard drive so i don't really care about that.

I'll make another post of places (very few) that you can still reach me (again, if this all goes down in the coming....weeks? months? years? idk)

Tw numbers yap

Around 73 hours into my liquid fast/special restrict. Almost broke it earlier but I figure I can last at least until the morning, if not through most of work tomorrow too.

I always start feeling good on day 2-3 of LR/fasts but my body starts being uncooperative day 3-4 almost religiously. Starts with a bit of the dizzies, then either auditory or visual impairment, sometimes nausea/migraines

Still terrified for my work meeting in 8 hours :/

Idk worst that can happen is I get fired but that is already lowkey anticipated. I want to be laidoff with the masses at the end of summer and get a severance, I do not want to be fired for not meeting ridiculous goals.

Sorry for constant work rant.. intake today was probably around 300-400 with all my beverages and applesauces and oats

Been weighing around 128 all week but my period is finally ending so hopefully I can lose these last couple pounds asap

What is this tournament about?

I'm not sure how nice I trust a person to be if continuing to support a project that laidoff all the workers they didn't pay is part of being nice. Exploiting people isn't nice.

So lemme get this straight. You’re mad at Quackity’s management for not paying workers, and then when Quackity finds out and fires those managers and sets out his general plans to downsize, slow down, and gradually reincorporate the rest -

[a pretty structured and well-thought-out plan for having the server down for less than a WEEK](likely because if he’s paying everyone who was working, he can’t afford to pay every last one right this minute)

- now you’re mad because he’s trying to do it the right way, which by the way is a MASSIVE amount of work, for a server where he doesn’t stream much and doesn’t receive direct income from, directly after he’s admitted that he’s been struggling in his personal life and apologized profusely live at like fucking 3am the moment he found out?

(like, this isn’t a server like hypixel. The CC’s aren’t paying for ranks or memberships or anything.).

And then, to cap it off - you’ve decided that this is somehow something I am responsible for in some way? Like I need to be clear: I am Some Guy On The Internet. I’m not a socials manager for Quackity, I don’t pay Quackity jackshit because I’m poor as hell, nor do I watch his streams because I’ve only got the money for the one subscription.

I am watching a streamer play with his new friends as a way to relax because work yesterday left me unable to do fucking housework, my guy, who told you you’re an asshole because you decided to send a poorly timed ask to harsh the nice mood I was enjoying, which you knew I was enjoying, because I was liveblogging.
