It was bound to happen. I ended up making a not-entirely-a-fankid-really between Hunter and Smoker. I named him Foster as in foster kid following the creative naming system in the ladyverse.

Foster is Hunter’s distant relative she’s never met, a second cousin once removed sort of thing. His parents have fallen on financial hardships and need a place for him to stay for like a year while they get their shit together. What made his parents decide on the two less than approachable queer ladies without a single maternal bone in their body? -shrugs- but Hunter likely owes something to this relative and feels like housing their kid for a bit will make things even lol.

In this AU Hunter and Smoker are probably married and living together in a slightly bigger apartment, but I imagine they keep their relationship to themselves (in Smoker’s case) or inner circle (Hunter). Smoker is a bit less uptight having become used to Hunter’s constant presence, but there’s still a bunch of unspoken rules that Foster has to learn upon living with them.

Thankfully he’s more the quiet, observant type so he won’t disrupt Smoker much other than with his presence.

They definitely don’t see him as a son and he definitely doesn’t see them as parental figures, just stranged aunts he’s stuck with while he’s feels resentful of his circumstances, but I like thinking of them getting to a point where they get along lol. Then the zombie apocalypse hits and they’re stuck with each other for realsies.

Honestly it was all just an excuse to turn him down and have Scriabin call Edgar his “landlord” haha; I was feeling nostalgic and went back to reread some old YuGiOh fics and had been so long away that I forgot that was a term used in the fandom to refer to the bodies of people the various Yamis would take over hehe ♪ It felt very fitting!

Handplates re/reading doodles!! Hghgh!!! The theses of these stories of codependent relationships cut me to my very core I’ll have you know 💕 I managed to avoid falling down the rabbit hole of Handplates!Vargas but I was this close, lemme tell you. The subtle shift in phrasing changes so much ;; I love them dearly

A kind-of leftover WOY style Scriabin, since I made his hair all pointy in my first doodles - the WOY style is quite soft and round! He looks very silly hehe

Another song that is, yes, unironically in my Vargas playlist. This is a Nny song to me and you can pry it from my cold dead correct hands. That beautiful facial hair ♪

More Handplates/Vargas, this time obviously inspired by my holiday request 💕💖💞 I honestly rather like how calm Gaster seems whenever he’s in Edgar’s vicinity, he is a fairly unassuming human haha. Is it because he doesn’t laugh very often? Oh no that’s sad actually haha

I’m not done with Blank Slate Ch. 4 just yet - hopefully soon! - but this lineup stands out to me especially since I made it while rereading Handplates. Specifically after Gaster is pulled out of the Void - Gaster having to face the people he loves who have no memory of him really spoke to me in a Blank Slate way - the scenario of being able to completely start over and have never done anything to hurt your loved ones, at the expense of never having done anything to them, as far as they’re concerned, ah! It hurts so beautifully!! That’s one of the central themes I’m chasing so it was so cool to see in that context! Very inspiring ♥

I actually went and skimmed the SQUEE! comics to get a better grasp on the Casils, I’d forgotten basically everything haha. It seemed in keeping that if they could barely keep track of the one Todd, they wouldn’t bother even differentiating between two :’) Taking Todd shifts to better share the load

At least they have each other! More helpful than a stuffed bear who eats trauma? On par at least?

I also happened to catch this screenshot of the Todds gossiping about their shadow-dad, though I’m not sure who had seen him :0 By now I have found an adoption memory-loss prevention mod - thank goodness :D - but it wasn’t installed at the time! :0 Blue Todd is the Todd who’d already been the Vargases’ kid, Red Todd is newly-adopted Todd :)

In which the offscreen is me lol, I was so blown away by how much more advanced the Sims 2 was from the Sims 1 ♥ Scriabin doesn’t need a box with a program in it, he has the absolute funnest toy in the world already!

And isn’t that the most important part ♪

Scriabin immediately makes himself and hooks up with every Sim he can, Edgar uncomfortable and totally not watching a~ny of the animations hehe ♪ Honestly though, the thought of Scriabin being genuinely excited to virtually get it on with any-and-every delights me haha

Obviously Scriabin would be a long Furby lol, this exchange can be summarized to “Scriabin no D:” “Scriabin yes >:D”

I did briefly lose my mind over how the Furbish word for “I/me/my/mine” is all the same - linguistically it makes sense, self-possessive, but in this, in their context ♥

Based on that one Wojak format - looks into the camera like “Yes. I am in your head. Insanity tracks” pfft

I hadn’t drawn any of them in like a month and then all of a sudden- I was 1000% not expecting to be hit with such a huge wave of inspiration but gosh and dang did this line of thought light me up. The implication! The jealousy! Wow that’s a lot all at once I wasn’t expecting ♥ Somehow these two never ended up on my shipping chart, dynamics I swear haha ✨

Can we get a full rant about the Paris special?

You're probably going to get more out of me once it fully airs but for now just.

The evil characters motivations just kinda suck for comparing them to the originals. Which again: I don't want to do because I hate the 'oh this other person had the same trauma and handled it better' thing, but when it's the same character going through the same trauma it's bullshit.

Shadybug's reason for being evil sucks because it's literally just 'she didn't meet Alya' which is supposed to be part of the Derision Retcon of how awful Chloé was even though it doesn't match with anything we saw in Season 1-3 but I can ignore that because it commits a worse crime: Letting us know that if Marinette didn't meet Alya that exact day, she would've gone full murderous villain before the day was over. Like literally Alya is the only thing different, which means even Canon!Mari is just one bad day from snapping and killing everyone.

Claw Noir makes no goddamn sense because Canon!Adrien was able to healthily handle his mother's 'death' even having Canon!Gabriel as his abusive neglectful bastard of a father. How is it that a version of Adrien that had a genuinely good father end up handling his mother's 'death' so poorly that he's down to kill whoever gets in the way as a coping mechanism?

All of this might be rendered unnecessary anyway with the fact that they're working for whatever 'Supreme' that's actually the Big Bad and might be forcing them into this? I need more info on that before I give a verdict.

I thought Hesperia being 'Good' would be the hardest sell considering Season 4 and 5's insistence that his evil plans have been 15-ish years in the making(despite the finale's insistence that he's only 'evil' because he misses Emilie) especially since clearly said plans are still in place as Alt!Adrien exists and Emilie 'died' meaning they got the Peacock. But other than the above plothole of somehow Good!Gabriel let Adrien end up as Claw Noire, he seems fine.

There's a lot of missed opportunities where they're trying to show alternate universes but only focusing on a single one. Like again: give us an Into the Ladyverse. We appearently see them for a few seconds during a Scooby-Doo Chase Scene™ which is the biggest slap in the face.

Other than the fact that this entire special on a base premise shouldn't be possible due to all other episodes insisting that there is only One True Timeline and that if anything somehow diverges, Bunnyx will come and make sure everything goes exactly as she remembers it.

We have yet another round of mass murdering terrorist supervillains who are validated because 'oh they were sad' so it's okay that they committed horrific crimes that they don't feel any remorse for outside of a 'let me just say, from the bottom of my heart: my bad.' but they're now redeemed with no consequences. And I wouldn't even care /that/ much because like a little hypocritical coming from an MLP fan if it weren't for the fact that 1.) they feel no remorse whatsoever and 2.) we have the narrative constantly beating us over the head about how none of this applies to the one abused teenage girl who's acting out because of trauma despite not going full supervillain on her own terms just being a jerk to her classmates.

Miraculous World Paris Headcanon

The Supreme in the world Shadybug and Claw Noir come from is Master Fu in the Ladybug universe.

Marinette and Adrien both received their Miraculous from Master Fu. As he himself admitted, he was not the official Guardian, but faute de mieux controlled access to all the pieces he didn’t lose, the ones Gabriel Agreste would later claim. The Supreme controls access to the Miraculous in the Shadyverse, except those its Gabriel analog stole. The Order of the Guardians probably wouldn’t have given them to someone like the Supreme willingly, suggesting the Supreme stole or otherwise appropriated them and is not the legitimate holder.

Both Master Fu and the Supreme face opposition from a rogue holder of the Butterfly Miraculous. They both risk deploying the especially powerful Ladybug and Cat Miraculous to holders unaware of each other’s identities, with one or both holders coincidentally developing a crush on the other.

Everyone in the Ladyverse apparently has a match in the Shadyverse, so Master Fu best complements the Supreme within this inverted and perverted alternate dimension.

Imagine a younger Fu who destroyed the temple not accidentally but on purpose, resentful of being taken from his home and forced into grueling training at the temple. Then suppose this alternate Fu used the Miraculous and their abilities to take over the world, either by old-fashioned conquest or using the Wish to create a reality in which he already ruled.

When confronted with the existence of Shadybug and Claw Noir, Marinette and Adrien both consider the different tracks their lives could have taken, and they help their Shadyverse counterparts realize they still have a choice to save the world and themselves. Perhaps the Shadyverse itself results from a choice, where one person with great power and potential used it for evil instead of good.

It's the ladyversary again and it has now been 15 years since they started running around! I can't believe it's been that long, time is an illusion. I haven't drawn them actually fighting zombies in ages, now that I think about it. Inspired by current events as you could probably guess.

Gave Hunter and Smoker their L4D2 outfits for fun, I almost never draw them in them. Zombies stole her shoes!!
