New Arknights event has a fantastic mechanic that I really love involving water pumps and cleaning up the blight left by enemies, as well as a boss that is honestly one of the easier ones recently released (in the normal difficulty encounter at least). Being able to straight up tank it and keep it from moving is a godsend compared to all the hoops we had to jump through with some of the other recent or rerun bosses. If anything, I wonder if the challenge will be lacking for veteran players even moving into the EX and S stages later this month.

As for my pulls, bad news but also good news. The bad news is my limited operator luck seems to have run out for now, as I'm not interested in pouring more resources into this banner with two limited Rainbow Six banners coming up in the next couple months and Wis'adel just after that. The good news, however, is that I finally got Ines as a random 6-star, along with Zuo Le who is actually really fun to use. Oh, also very pretty Highmore dress because Highmore is a pretty jellyfish lady who needs pretty outfits.

As for the story... I kinda skipped it for now, I'll just have to go check that out later or watch a recap afterward. The Sui stuff hasn't really interested me too much in the past, but the farming element does make me think I might be interested this time. Then again, I also really need to check out that fanmovie for Lonetrail sometime.

Minor note, on the first day of this event, I currently have a max of 330 pulls with all my current resources, after doing 106 non-free pulls on the current banner, so if I don't get Shu in the 13 free pulls I have left, I'll just have to accept it because I really want to make sure I have 300 for Wis'adel.

Elysium Fields victims if they were regular people in another universe 👀

Lucrezia Capecchi: Of course, just an average high school sophomore who really loves to draw and she won so many art contests at her school. She excels a lot in every subjects but Math is her weakness. Aside from being a regular student, she's also a student athlete too and she plays volleyball. (She plays as a libero) she's very introverted but she's a very sweet girl and she likes helping people. She dreams of studying in Harvard University but if she doesn't manage to enter there, she would just study somewhere in Italy after graduating high school.

Philomena Highmore: she peaked in high school 👀 (kidding) she's a freshman in Columbia University studying Sociology. She's smart but sometimes she's lazy and likes to go out with her friends. But despite all of this, she still manage to do her studies very well and she's also part of a student council something like that. And she's popular and rich too.

Jack Goodwin: Currently a college senior and studying in Columbia University as well. (Same school as Philomena) He's a Computer Science major and he's also popular with the ladies too. (Cuz he fine) and he also works part-time in Rockley's candy store. He's so good at it that Rockley even made him "Employee of the Month."

Georgina Upperton: She's a billionaire. A very rich CEO and she's old money rich as well. But before becoming a CEO, she was a former runway model too and she studied at Oxford. She's very smart and she just likes to spend her time alone in her office. (Or in her house.)

Theo Vergeer: Idk that much about this guy. But yeah I can see him as an Art professor in a university and he draws very well too.

George Buchanan: I can see this guy as a News Anchor. And before he goes on set he spends too much time on perfecting his looks in order to look more presentable on live TV. He graduated in University of Pennsylvania with a degree in journalism.

Season 4 is absolutely the best out of all 8 games hands down. Season 1 is great don't get me wrong, especially because of nathan and grace, but season 4 just has that edge over every season. The character design is quite literally amazing, especially characters like lady highmore and giuliettas outfits. Each district flowed nicely to something bigger and while the districts were very different in some aspects, it didn't feel confusing and out of place like pacific bay does. It also has so many heart wrenching moments, the middle of s4 (no spoilers) was so sad as well as the end whereas no other game apart from the beginning of s5 made me actually feel upset for the characters. No other game gave me that effect. I feel like it's the only game I could really and truly get into and I will certainly be replaying it for the story! The avatar items are so cool too and the pets. Motp on top ily!!

The CIFT Hall of Fame

Welcome, one and all, to the Hall of Fame. As the CIFT is a relatively new company, there is still much that can and will be added to this area as time goes on. But, if you will please step this way, I can talk you through the figures who are here.

First and foremost, we have the Head of R&D, Markus Baal. The painting depicts a man formed of strings upon strings of entwined binary code wearing a white lab coat accented with gold detailing. Markus first joined the CIFT after teleporting here from his home fountain of [REDACTED] to escape the [REDACTED] of the dark fountain. It was almost like destiny brought him into our loving arms, and he has since lead his department on a path towards true progress.

Next to him is of course the Advanced Security Overseer, or Aso for short. A humanoid security camera wearing a neat black suit with silver detailing is shown in this painting, faint red light shining from his lens. Aso is the byproduct of the former head of security, [REDACTED], being augmented to serve his duties in a more efficient manner. These changes have caused him to forget his previous existence, and he now serves the Founder in a manner which is much more to His glorious ambition.

Up next we have Amanda Highmore, our head of the Communications department here on site. The painting depicts a stern looking woman who, shockingly, is actually a human. The sole Lightner on the board of directors has a tight bun held behind her head, and in her arm rests a very content looking Tasque. Ms. Highmore joined the board after rising through the ranks from the bottom, starting as just a worker in the mailroom. Isn’t that something? Just goes to show that everyone at the CIFT has the potential to surpass expectations.

This next member is unlike the others as they were not appointed onto the board. Everyone, this is Unit 000001. A cold metallic face that bears no expression other than pure stoicism stares through this painting. All over their artificial body are engravings and inscriptions of different CIFT motives. A sigil of an eye is engraved on their forehead, while the words “Science: God of All” is inscribed on their chest. This brave Unit was the first to face the unknown darkness of the worlds beyond and successfully report data back to us. Sadly, they are no longer with us, as after completing 66 excursions, their signal has disappeared entirely and has yet to come up again. Masks depicting this Unit’s stoic face are given to each new Unit to remind this generation of vessels who they have to live up to.

And right over here, we have the glorious Founder himself. The brilliant mind who caused us to turn our then blind eyes towards the worlds that we could rule, and gave us the machines to do it. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, this is Heinrich Cane. The painting depicts a man who does not exist, with a face hidden behind a black box. He wears flesh that does not exist upon a Darkner body that does not exist. Heinrich Cane never has, and never will exist. There is only the machine. The Founder was once the scientific advisor to the Queen of long past, but upon her merciless slaughter at the hands of the Lightner, [REDACTED], he took over and provided the remaining Darkners with hope, and a future. A future that’s quickly coming closer and closer to reality.

This concludes this brief tour of the Hall of Fame, but it may be revisited at a later date once the amount of names on the walls has expanded. On behalf of the CIFT, we thank you all for joining us today, and we hope you have a regular day.
