One-Pot Vegetable Pie
Have excess vegetables lying around the fridge and don’t want to know what to do? No worries. Save it for the pie. It isn’t any normal pie. It's a scrumptious vegan shepherd’s pie. A comforting pie that is made with vegetables layered with a thick and rich gravy, topped with mashed potatoes, and baked till golden brown. It is an easy, fuss-free recipe that is a favourite of many. In this blog, let’s see how to make this delicious pie along with refined sunflower oil manufacturers.
Ingredients:
Finely chopped onion - 1
Peeled and diced carrot - 2
Chopped red and yellow bell peppers - 1 each
Chopped button mushrooms
Homemade tomato puree
Oil 2 tbsp
Finely chopped garlic cloves - 4
Salted butter
Boiled, peeled and mashed potatoes - 4
White wine vinegar - 1 tbsp
Finely chopped thyme leaves - 1 tsp
For taste - salt and pepper
Hot milk - 1 cup
Method:
Before we begin, first wash and clean all the vegetables. Then chop all the vegetables as mentioned and arrange them in separate bowls.
In a heavy-bottom pan, heat oil on medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the chopped onion, and garlic and sauté them for a couple of minutes. It must become soft and translucent.
Once it is soft, add the chopped carrot, bell peppers, mushrooms, and thyme and sauté them for 5 minutes. As it's soft and leaves some oil, add the chopped mushroom and sauté for another minute.
Add the vinegar and tomato puree. As you stir, the veggies start releasing the liquid and start looking saucy. Continue to stir until the veggies are coated with the tomatoes.
Add salt and pepper according to your preference, and add the vegetable stock. Cook it at a simmer for 15 minutes, and the liquid will evaporate, but it must be saucy.
Now mash the boiled potatoes and incorporate milk until it's smooth and has no lumpy consistency. On the other side, preheat the oven to 190 °C.
In a rectangular baking dish, spread the sauteed vegetables evenly using a ladle.
Above it, use a piping bag or drop dollops to spread the mashed potatoes.
Now bake it in a preheated oven for 20 minutes until the potato turns golden brown.
Remove it from the oven.
The delicious Shepherd’s Pie is ready to be served.

How to make magnesia brick
Magnesia Brick Manufacturing Process:
The manufacturing process of magnesia brick includes the following steps:
1. Break and smash:
Crushing is the process of processing large pieces of material into ideal particle size materials.
2. Ingredients (weighing):
The raw materials are prepared in a predetermined proportion and mixed in a strong sand mixer. The order of feeding is magnesia aggregate – carbon fiber – binder – carbon raw material.
3. Mixing:
Mix thoroughly to get perfect coating. Add mixture made in step (B) and remix the batch intensively. Now add powder Resin (item 9), then Hexamine (item 10) and mix once again.
4. Molding:
Use a molding machine to make the mixture into bricks.
5. Drying:
Use a drying oven to dry the bricks for several hours.
6. Firing:
Fire the bricks in a kiln at temperatures of 1550 to 1600 degrees Celsius.
7.Finishing:
The final step is to grind and polish the bricks to get the desired shape and size.
Types of magnesia brick:
Magnesia bricks can be divided into two categories: sintered magnesia bricks (also known as fired magnesia bricks) and chemically combined magnesia bricks (also known as unburned magnesia bricks). Magnesia bricks with high purity and firing temperature are called direct-bonded magnesia bricks due to the direct contact of periclase grains; Bricks made of fused magnesia as raw materials are called fused re-bonded magnesia bricks.
Uses of Magnesia Bricks:
Magnesia bricks are used in steelmaking furnaces, electric furnace bottom and wall, and high temperature tunnel kiln. Magnesia bricks are also used as heat storage room lattice bricks in glass kilns.
Magnesia brick is used for permanent layers in steel making converters, AOD furnaces, and more. Magnesia brick is also used to line steel ladles and Basic Oxygen Furnaces (BOFs). Magnesia bricks can be used in a variety of applications, depending on the type of brick being used. Common uses include furnaces, ladles, secondary refining vessels, and cement and glass making kilns.
Magnesia Brick for sale
The most important steps need to be considered to avoid or reduce the possibility of magnesia bricks hydration are:
1). Magnesia bricks must be transported in a container to protect the material against moisture.
2). Magnesia bricks should be stored inside storage rooms where it is dry, free of frost, ventilated, and with a temperature between 10°C and 30°C. Note that magnesia bricks storage underneath a tarpaulin cover outside is not sufficient.
3). Bricks may not be stored for more than four weeks prior to installation and preheating.
4). Lining should be protected against moisture during installation and preheating.

When a particular coarseness of stucco sand is reached
MOULD OR SHELL BUILDINGThis is the process where the ceramic shell is built around the wax trees / assemblies. The most economical and popular process is the dip process. This process is extremely versatile and offers very accurate control of the shell properties. The dip process; The wax tree is invested with ceramic coatings, layer by layer, until a sufficiently thick mould is formed. The wax tree is first dipped in ceramic slurry and dry sand is sprinkled (‘ stuccoed ‘) on it. A number of such coats (slurry plus sand) are applied until the desired thickness is achieved. The dipping procedure; The step by step shell building procedure is as follows1. Dip the wax tree into the primary ceramic slurry.2. Stucco with fine sand.3. Dry this coat in controlled conditions of temperature and humidity.4. When dry, wet this tree in the primary backup ceramic slurry.5. Stucco with slightly coarser sand and dry under same conditions.6. Repeat this procedure using progressively coarser sands until the required thickness is reached.
7. When a particular coarseness of stucco sand is reached, secondary backup slurry is used.8. The number of dips varies from 8 to 12 depending on the size and shape of the casting.Properties of Shell / Mould materials:(a) The material should have refractory properties.(b) It should be thermally stable i.e. dimension changes on heating should be minimal.(c) Chemical compatibility with other mould materials and metal to be cast is important.(d) It should resist hot deformation, i.e. the material should not become soft, at molten metal temperatures, and deform.(e) Low cost and easy availability of consistent quality material is also important. Some of the ceramic materials used are(a) Silica (SiO2)(b) Zircon (ZrSiO2)(c) Zirconia (ZrO2) etc….SHELL DEWAXING:Dewaxing is the process where the wax patterns are melted out. This leaves behind the monolithic ceramic shell having cavities of the exact shape and dimensions of the wax patterns. This is also the most delicate step in the entire investment casting process. The dewaxing methods:1. Flash heating: the shells are placed in a furnace that is preheated to a high temperature. This sudden exposure to heat enables proper dewaxing of the shells.2. Steam autoclave dewaxing: here the shells are placed in a steam autoclave. The vessel is closed and super heated steam, at high pressure, is let into it. This causes very efficient dewaxing. Steam dewaxing is the Wholesale fully automatic plastic bottle stretch blow moulding machines Manufacturers most efficient method of dewaxing as almost no shell cracking is noticed here.3. Boiling water/wax dewaxing: the shells are simply immersed into a bath of boiling water or wax.The wax inside the shells is thus melted out. There are a number of disadvantages associated with this method.
The only advantage being the low capital investment involved.SHELL PRE-HEATINGThe shell after dewaxing is preheated. This is done to develop the high temperature bond of the shell. The preheating is usually done in a box type electrical furnace or in a directly fired oil / gas furnace. It may be noted that the shells are poured when still hot. This is done to prevent thermal shock and minimise casting defects.METAL CASTINGThere is no limitation to what metal can be cast in the investment casting process. Components in non-ferrous metals are cast regularly along with regular steel, stainless steel, cast iron, etc…. Components in titanium alloys are also investment cast. Gold ornaments are also investment cast forming an independent industry on its own. Hence, metal or metallurgy is no limitation here. Conventional casting methods like, ladle pouring or furnace pouring, are used for casting metal into the investment casting shells. Vacuum melting-casting techniques are used only where metallurgy specifications require such care. The gravity pouring method is found to be adequate for all other casting needs.

The report "Waste Heat Recovery System Market by End-Use Industry (Petroleum Refining, Metal Production, Cement and Textile) - Global Forecasts to 2021
The market size of waste heat recovery system (WHRS) was USD 44.14 Billion in 2015, and is projected to reach USD 65.87 Billion by 2021, at a CAGR of 6.90%. Rising energy & electricity prices coupled with stringent government regulations & incentives are expected to drive the market in the future.
Petroleum refining
WHRSs are widely used in petroleum refining processes such as distillation (fractionation), thermal cracking, catalytic, and treatment. The thermal effectiveness of these energy-intensive processes is crucial to the petroleum refining industry and, hence, highly energy efficient WHRS are used for such applications. Many exothermic reactions occur in the refineries that also produce waste heat. Some modern refineries have highly integrated systems that recover heat from one process to use in other processes. However, still many refineries and their operations release high-temperature waste heat, but lack efficient WHRS to recover it for different applications. The growing oil & gas industries in the Asia-Pacific region, and increasing oil production in the Middle East & Africa is driving the demand of WHRS in petroleum refining industry globally.
Chemical
WHRS have been successfully used in the chemical industry for processes such as industrial gases, alkalis and chlorine, cyclic crudes, and intermediates, including ethylene, propylene, benzene/toluene, plastics materials, synthetic rubber, synthetic organic fibers, and agricultural chemicals. High efficiency, operational productivity, and utilization of specialized and customized equipment have made WHRS an important component in chemical production processes. Therefore, growth in the chemical industry is one of the driving factors of the global WHRS market.
Metal Production
Heavy metals manufacturing and refining involves many high-temperature processes from which waste heat can be recovered. Heavy metal foundries commonly recover clean gaseous streams. However, recovering waste heat from heavily contaminated exhaust gas sources such as coke ovens, blast furnaces, basic oxygen furnaces, and electric arc furnaces continue to present a challenge for economical functioning of WHRS. Other sources of waste heat include melting furnace exhaust, ladle preheating, core baking, pouring, shot blasting, castings cooling, heat treating, and quenching. The heat recovered from these sources is used in steam and electricity generation in and is further used as fuel in other processes. This helps the low revenue generating metal industry to boost its energy efficiency, and hence reduce operating costs. The demand of WHRS is increasing in metal production segment, as the metal industry is growing heavily in all the regions.

Portokalopita is a typical Greek dessert made of phyllo, oranges (Portokàli means orange) and syrup. There are various recipes for portokalopita. I propose the one with whole oranges in which the peel of the fruit is also used.
Orange peel has antimicrobial and antibacterial properties, containing high percentages of Vitamin C, is an indispensable aid for the immune system. Also is suitable against acidity, cholesterol and bacterial plaque in the mouth, helping digestion and intestinal transit. It is an excellent ally for those who have to fight cholesterol, as it helps to clean the arteries and counteracts the formation of clots, promoting cardiovascular health.
As it will be used the whole fruit, it is essential that it is organic and not treated with any type of pesticide.
Ingredients:
For the syrup
700 g granulated sugar
500 g water
juice of 3 oranges
For the orange pie
2 whole organic oranges
450 g phyllo dough sheet
250 g granulated sugar
250 g seed oil
250 g milk
vanilla
3 eggs
(Some butter and flour for the pan)
To serve: chocolate or stracciatella ice cream
Method:
Spread the phyllo sheets onto your working surface. Let them dry for 2 – 3 hours.
Meanwhile prepare the syrup. In a pot, add the sugar, water, orange juice and transfer over medium heat. As soon as it comes to a boil, remove from the heat and set aside to cool.
Preheat the oven to 180ο C (356 F).
With your hands, crumble the phyllo sheets until they broken up into small pieces. Place them into a large bowl.

The use of aluminum-magnesium-carbon bricks on LRF
When MgO-C bricks are used for refining ladle furnaces and ladles, they are mainly used in headroom and slag lines. According to the operating conditions, the refractory materials used in these parts must have high temperature resistance, thermal shock resistance, and resistance to mechanical corrosion caused by slag erosion.
So in the past, these parts used magnesia-chromium refractory materials, but considering that chromium pollutes the environment, its consumption has been reduced, and now magnesia-carbon bricks are used.
Since the magnesia-carbon bricks in the new ladle will be severely damaged during the preheating process, the loose decarburized layer can reach 30-60mm thick. This layer is washed away during the injection of molten steel, bringing the magnesia grains into the slag.
Obviously, preventing the carbon in the magnesia carbon bricks from being burned out during preheating is one of the important steps to improve the service life of the magnesia carbon bricks at the ladle clearance and slag line.?
Its technical measures, in addition to compounding the composite antioxidant into the magnesia carbon brick, the key is to cover the surface of the magnesia carbon brick with an alkali-containing low-melting glass phase liquid after lining, so as to protect the ladle magnesia carbon brick. Carbon is not burned off during the preheating process of the ladle.
We Changxing Refractory Material Co.,LTD is professional manufacturer and supplier of refractory materials for more than 30 years. Our high quality ladle magnesia carbon bricks are good sold to many countries say South Africa, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, etc. Shall any interests, welcome to contact us. Classic Waffle Recipe
Who doesn’t like to wake up to a stack of filling fluffy waffles in the morning?! Tucking into a plate of these classic homemade waffles has to be one of the best ways to get the day started. If you’re craving crispy fluffilicious (totally a word…!) waffles, this classic recipe will definitely hit the spot!
These delicious waffles are soft and fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside – absolute perfection! I love to serve this breakfast and brunch staple at the weekends with my homemade raspberry jam or my homemade brown sugar syrup!
Classic Waffle Recipe
Everyone needs a good waffle recipe in their kitchen toolkit and trust me when I say this is the BEST one around, I’ve been making it for years and it never fails to make an impression. This is the one my Mom used when we were kids as well, it’s a classic!
What’s the Difference Between Traditional Waffles and Belgian Waffles?
The biggest difference between these two types of waffles is the size. Belgian waffles tend to be a lot bigger and deeper than the classic variety, and they’re also cooked using yeast in the batter for an even crispier and lighter crust OR they have egg whites beaten into them for the fluffiness. However, many people use baking powder instead of yeast for Belgian waffles and it works just as well when you use those egg whites. It’s totally up to you (and what you have in the pantry!
What to Serve on Waffles
I love to serve these waffles as a sweet treat with some syrup, sliced fruit, powdered sugar, and a little whipped cream if I’m going all out! Those little pockets are perfect for filling up! But they’re also a great savory dish served with some scrambled eggs and bacon!
Need Some Yummy Ideas for Toppings?
You can totally keep it simple with butter and maple syrup, but if you’re feeling adventurous there are SO many different toppings that can make these waffles even more amazing. Your own special combination of fresh and cooked fruits, jams, melted chocolate, and even peanut butter can all can transform your classic waffles into a special family treat.
How to Store and Reheat Your Waffles
If you have some leftovers you want to keep for later, they’ll last for 3-4 days in the refrigerator. But if you want them to last longer it’s best to freeze them in freezer bags where they‘ll last for a few weeks.
When you want to reheat them, it’s better to use the oven so that they stay crispy. Heat them at 250 F and they’ll be ready in 10 minutes
Happy cooking!
Love,
Karlynn

What is the difference between clay bricks and high alumina bricks
Clay bricks and high alumina bricks are common refractory bricks. As the industry insiders, most of the clay bricks and high alumina bricks are distinguished from the appearance, but this is only one-sided. So, what is the difference between clay brick and high alumina brick? Today we will come to know about it, and provide reference for purchasing clay brick or high alumina brick.
I、 Clay brick
1.Definition of clay bricks
Clay brick is an aluminum silicate refractory product with Al2O3 content of about 30%-48%. It is made of refractory clay or kaolin and clay clinker combined with clay, formed by semi dry or plastic molding and baking at 1250-1420℃.The finished clay bricks are not very dense in appearance, the color is pale yellow and brown, sometimes even dark brown, and sometimes there are brown and black mottled, dark brown indicates that the iron oxide content is high, light yellow and yellow are normal color. The refractories of clay bricks are generally at 1580 -1750 ℃and the softening temperature at 1250 C -1450℃.
2. Characteristics of clay brick:
(1) strong plasticity.
(2) good stability of thermal shock.
(3) good volume stability of high temperature .
(4) strong ability to resist acid slag.
3.Application of clay bricks: clay bricks are used to masonry heating furnace and heat treatment furnace, flue, flat furnace storage lattice brick and bottom of regenerator wall, inner lining of air pipe and gas pipeline, dust remover of iron smelting furnace, lining of flue gas, dry belt of rotary kiln and preheating belt, and it also the general refractory material apply to boiler, lime kiln and glass kiln and ceramic kiln .
5.Clay brick price
Clay brick production process is simple, the scope of application is wide, its price is also more economical, the price of clay brick is about 1000 RMB, the concrete clay brick price can contact the clay brick manufacturer.
II、 high alumina brick
III、 Definition of high alumina brick
High alumina brick is an aluminum or alumina product with more than 48% Al2O3 content. It is made from natural bauxite as raw material, including bauxite, Bobby stone, kaolinite and so on. Adding soft or semi soft clay as binder in high alumina clinker and mixing, then forming, drying, and finally burning. The firing of high alumina brick is more compact and the color is more white or yellowed. The refractoriness of high alumina brick is about 1770℃, and the softening temperature of load is 1420 -1550℃.
2.Characteristics of high alumina brick
(1) high softening temperature of load
(2) good thermal shock resistance.
(3) strong corrosion resistance, alkali resistance and slag resistance.
3.Application of high alumina brick
Masonry blast furnaces, hot blast stoves, ladles, lining of rotary kilns and other metallurgical furnaces, high alumina bricks can also be used as lattice bricks on hot blast stoves, stacking regenerators.
5.High alumina brick price
High alumina brick is the commonly used kiln lining brick, high aluminum brick with big difference because of the aluminum content, index, performance and so on are different, the ordinary high aluminum brick price is generally about 4000 RMB, the concrete high aluminum brick price please contact the high alumina brick manufacturer.
The above is the introduction of clay brick and high alumina brick from the definition, appearance, characteristics, uses, indicators, prices and so on.
(1) the Al2O3 content of clay brick is low, and the Al2O3 content of high alumina brick is high. Although both contain Al2O3, their properties and uses are different.
(2) in appearance, clay brick and high alumina brick are also very different, so generally distinguish clay brick and high alumina brick are using the surface view method.
(3) the refractories of clay bricks are generally at 1580 -1750℃, and the softening temperature of the load is 1250 C -1450℃. The refractoriness of high alumina brick is about 1770℃, and the softening temperature of load is 1420 -1550℃. The refractories and load softening temperatures of clay bricks and high alumina bricks are all close, but the environment used by them is differ somewhat.
(4) from the characteristic point of view, it is the national standard refractory brick, the clay brick and the high alumina brick have different properties, and the slag corrosion resistance is good, especially for the acid slag, and the thermal shock stability is also good.
(5) from the index point of view, the compressive strength of high alumina brick is higher than that of clay brick, and the impact resistance of high alumina brick is better than that of clay brick.
(6) finally, we distinguish from the price of the refractory brick, the high alumina brick is higher than the clay brick because of the high Al2O3 content, so the clay brick can be satisfied with the kiln with high alumina brick.
This is the difference between the clay brick and the high alumina brick. When you choose and buy, you must know what parts of the kiln are applicable to the kiln, and what effect can be achieved after use, then ask the staff of firebrick manufacturer to know the index of the firebrick, and then choose the products you want, and hope the above opinion will help to you. It is helpful to choose clay firebrick or high alumina firebrick. Welcome customers to rewell to visit and exchange with.
