Oh my goodness the last chapter of Evergreen 🥺 I cannot get enough of your writing and the last chapter was so beautifully written. I’ve read it twice now and the way you depict grief is done so well. I remember sarah at first thinking it was maybe cute he was dating when they had the phone call and he was cooking, but then actually seeing her dad with someone else completely shaking her is so valid. It reminds me of the way people say grief comes in waves and sometimes they’re steady and you’re staying afloat and other times they’re 100 feet tall and crashing around you giving you no room to breathe. Then seems like reader is going through something similar where she’s starting to feel guilt about moving on. I can’t wait to see how it progresses, I’m so excited to read more next week!
