we watch so many nature documentaries that we've got nicknames for particular creatures. whenever a show introduces a colugo me and the guy will joyfully start chanting IT'S THE BAG!! IT'S THE BAG!!....we hoot at each other when there's gibbons. if there's weevils we say ohhh yess it's Weevil Time babey. i point at any and all limp wristed primate and say "thats me". every time sir david attenborough says shit like "im being winched 90 meters up a tree" i repeat what he said but in a tom scott voice. i dont remember the point of this post but i really love watching these things with my partner and i love having inside jokes with him about fish behaviors abd shorebird migrations.
