The main characters of my fairy AU, which is the adaptation of the Hidden AU and its collaboration story, Journey to Harmony are made by me and @georgi-girl. Each of the seven fairy tribes and subtribes has wings and antennae based on different insects or the wings are based on their elements (the country tribe as earth fairies have leaf or flower petal or fruit slice-shaped wings, the techno tribe as water fairies have fin-like wings, etc.) and the pop trolls as fairies are more of butterfly fairies while Cooper is a moth fairy, just like his parents and his tribe and Queen Rose and her tribe, the platinum trolls are dragonfly fairies. Their outfits are based on the fashion from the Middle Ages, though the fairies' clothes are made out of natural materials, such as leaves and flower petals.

The new Platinum leader and the fairy queen of the fairy kingdom, Queen Rosetta a.k.a Rose has dragonfly wings and antennae just like the members of her court, which is known for the use of light magic. She wears roses and rose petals in her outfits because the flowers match her personality and the rose symbolizes royalty, romance, love, beauty, and courage.

Queen Poppy, the older twin of King Peppy's twin daughters and one of Queen Celestia's wards has the antennae that she, Queen Celestia, and the members of the Snack Pack share because they came from the same court. During the group's search for the Pop court, Poppy acts as a trusted best friend for Queen Rose to rely on in lending a helping hand or wing because they have been inseparable at most times, especially during lessons. She shares with her boyfriend, Branch. Her wings are based on the king swallowtail and her outfits have camellias and their petals as skirts because the flower symbolizes beauty, grace, elegance, love, longevity, happiness, and good fortune,

Branch, on the other hand, is still the cautious and protective but talented butterfly. His skills in survival and protectiveness towards his friends allowed him to join the knights and earn his title as a sir. He and his brothers have the same monarch butterfly wings and his outfits were made of Mexican sage petals and leaves. The sage plant symbolizes bravery, esteem, domestic virtue, longevity, thoughtfulness, good health, and wisdom.

DJ Suki is a music-savvy fairy herself since fairies are known to be musically inclined and she was trained to be a troubadour ever since Queen Celestia took in the Snack Pack after they were separated from the pop fairies during their escape from the giants (the bergens). Sporting red lacewing butterfly wings and wearing clothes with lotus petals, I kinda match her with lotus flowers because they symbolize transcendence, purity, rebirth, and strength.

Cooper is the only moth fairy in the group and is known to work in the castle bakery with Legsly. He was aware that he had a different antennae shape and that his wings were based on a rosy maple moth but what he didn't know was that he was born a fairy prince. His outfits are made of morning glories, which match him perfectly because the flowers symbolize eternal love, rebirth, resilience, life, and unyielding love.

Smidge is a skilled flyer and fighter in her group and she is one of the transgender members. She is the strongest because she trained with the knights alongside Branch but, she tends to be more of a berserker. Her wings are based on an orange sulphur butterfly and her outfits are made out of red dahlias, which symbolize strength, power, perseverance, and prosperity.

Biggie is a big butterfly with a heart of gold. As an animal tamer and the caretaker of the Snack Pack, he takes care of them and keeps them safe with his bow and arrows but he owns a pet fox, whom he names Mr. Dinkles. He has blue morpho butterfly wings and his outfit is made out of pansy flower petals and leaves because it matches his gentle personality and the pansy symbolizes love, loyalty, honesty, devotion, sympathy, and care.

Guy Diamond is a transgender male but he is considered the most beautiful fairy. Sporting glitter on his pink-tipped satyr butterfly wings, he can emit fairy dust from his wake when flying. Queen Rose uses it for potions while Fuzzbert uses the dust for healing. As a new dad to the newborn baby Tiny Diamond, he tries his best to be a good example to his son. His outfits are made out of amaryllis lily petals, which match him because the flower symbolizes pride, strength, determination, beauty, and love.

Satin and Chenille, the fashion twins still love fashion designing and making clothes but their outfits are known among the younger generation of the nobility, the elite, and the wealthy class. They have matching purple emperor wings, cherry blossom outfits, and ponytails that face each other like a mirror, but the sleeves, personalities, and colors set them apart. Cherry blossoms match them because of their traits and the flower symbolizes beauty, passion, love, courage, rebirth, renewal, new beginnings, and the start of spring.

Fuzzbert, though mute, is a skilled healer among his teammates, which comes in handy because of the difficulty of their quest. Using his knowledge of potions and spells to cure his fellow fairies and help anyone in need. His wings are based on a species of a swallowtail butterfly and his outfits are made of sweet pea leaves, which symbolize blissful pleasure, good wishes, kindness, gratitude, and friendship.

Legsly works at the castle bakery with Cooper but she is mainly the most outgoing among the teammates. As a baker, she has a "happy-go-lucky" attitude with a liking for any "good things" and her cooking talent impresses both her friends and guests alike. Her dress is made out of the leaves and the flower of the daffodil, which symbolizes rebirth, new beginnings, hope, joy, and good luck.

I have been working on a new au for one of my favorite games of all time. The au is called

The basic idea of this au is to see how much I can change undertale's world while still keeping the bare essentials of what undertale as a story is. This au is still in work in progress, so the only things I have really made so far are the designs for some of the characters. Which I will show off to you now!

The first design is the main character of Overhaul-Tale Frisk!

I haven't really thought of his character at all yet , but then he is an innocent child who likes long sleeves.

So I'll be moving on to the character.

Next up Flowey!

They are a very violent individual, still a soulless being like the original Flowey. Flowey, as a character, didn't change in my au at all, so we will also be skipping him and going to the next character.

Next up is the brother of Toriel himself, Tauriel. (Still thinking on a name, this one is just a place holder.)

This guy is the first big change in my au. Instead of meeting Toriel, the caretaker of the Ruins, you instead meet her brother, the former advisor of the king now defender of humans Tauriel (again still a placeholder name)

Now you might be asking, "Where is Toriel then?" Well, let me tell you!

Now that we got that out of the way, let's get to our next character

Napstablook!

(If you're wondering, I used a Spin the Wheel app to decide the characters' gender.)

Other than being the opposite gender she is rather the same as the Orignal Napstablook, so let's move on.

Next up, Sans!

Sans like Napstablook also had a genderswap, but unlike my version of Napstablook, there are some differences between her and her original counterpart other than gender.

Number one, Overhaul Sans perfers barbecue sauce over ketchup.

Number two, she is slightly taller than the original sans by 2 inches.

Number three, she has slightly better stats than the original. Hers are 1 att and 2 def.

She still has 1 hp, tho

number four, she has slightly stronger magic, but she has a little less of a grip on it, unlike the original.

Finally, number five, she is a daddy's girl (due to what you want with this information)

Now, I have covered most of everything for this version of sans. Let's now go to the next character

Next up, Papyrus!

She is similar to her original counterparts, but what makes her different is

Number one she is a way better cook the Papyrus because unlike the cannon one she actually had a nack for cooking at a young age instead of someone trying to use cooking as a distraction from being a royal guardsman

Number two, she is still very nice, almost as nice as the cannon papyrus, but she can tend to get more easily frustrated than the cannon papyrus and will swear on occasion is frustrated enough.

Number three, she tends to make a lot more puns than her Orignal counterpart. And she definitely knows what she's doing.

Number four, unlike the original papyrus, she actually likes the annoying dog and keeps it as a stray pet (She still has her pet rock, too)

Finally, number five, she tends to fly up in the air a lot more often than the original papyrus.

Now that we covered all about papyrus, I think I will call it a day for now. Tomorrow, I will share more characters, but I am too tired to keep rambling on. I hope you find my au interesting so far. I'll be back tomorrow with more to share

[Y/N] -> Childhood best friend of Minho. Good friends with Chan, Felix, and Seungmin. Has been in one situationship, but otherwise no other relationships. Begins to crush on her classmate, Jeon Jungkook, which leads to her begging for Minho to be her wingman.

Lee Minho -> Childhood best friend of [Y/N]. Dance major. Best friends with Jisung, Hyunjin, and Felix. Never supported her situationship, but was there for her regardless. Stays the sarcastic, teasing best friend while being a caretaker to her but starts to become more possessive as she looks at other guys.

Bang Chan -> Big brother figure and good friends with [Y/N]. Once used to like her with unreciprocated feelings, but worked better as friends. Have been close since. Basically her therapist friend.

Seo Changbin -> TBA

Hwang Hyungjin -> TBA

Han Jisung -> Same friend group as Chan and Changbin due to mutual musical interests. Best friends with Minho. His own therapist friend.

Lee Felix -> TBA

Kim Seungmin -> Close friends with [Y/N], Chan, and Felix. Has been showing more interest lately... (More info TBA)

Yang Jeongin -> Younger brother figure to [Y/N], though he does often try to get her attention.

Jeon Jungkook -> Best friends with Taehyung. Classmate and eventual friend of [Y/N] who ends up taking the same lower division general education classes as her.

Kim Taehyung -> Best friends with Jungkook.

Avatar: Way of Water Oc

Note - Hi Luvs, so if you’ve seen my earlier post you know I’ll be introducing a new character. They will have nothing to do with Alue’k and her story’s as it is a completely separate reality. (Will be made clear in the M-List)

Alue’k fics will continue as normal with the 7th part of Drown coming out soon. She is my main priority as I love writing for her and she is one of my favourite Avatar Oc’s. Her fics (as well as Eeks) will take priority over the others, so don’t panic.🥰

Summary: Introducing Wings, his interest and personality.

Introducing Wings

Aiden “Wings” Chacon is the son of Trudy Chacon - He was just under a year old when the Na’vi went to war with humans. (final battle in Avatar 2009)

He was nicknamed “Wings” because of his fascination with his mothers plane when he was a baby

The death of his mother left him without a caretaker and due to his age he couldn’t be sent back to earth.

His father is unknown as Trudy never shared that information, so that left our poor baby boy all alone.

Jake new about the boy as he has lived with them in the shuttle on the hallelujah mountains.

Jake would hold the little guy as he wield about, the little guy being a common guest on his video logs.

During the final battle Aiden was left in the care of Na’vi mothers as they cared for the children.

Once they found Trudy, the only thing left of her charred body was her dog tags.

Jake felt bad for the kid, he had no family and no one to watch over him - In the months that Jake had spent with Trudy, Grace and Norm they had really became his family so it only felt right if he payed that forward.

Neytiri was not on board at the beginning … and rightfully so humans destroyed her home, her sacred places, killed her father and many of her people.

However when she looked into the little ones big brown eyes the only thing that came to her mind was the woman that sacrificed herself to help save her home, her people.

Neytiri couldn’t turn the child away especially after he all but snuggled into her arms and cooed at her

It still took her time to adjust but that was acceptable after all she had gone through.

So “Wings” grew up in the care of Jake and Neytiri

He was given his moms dog tags and wears them around his neck proudly.

Wings in almost a year older than Neteyam however is still treated as the younger brother, Neteyam and Lo’ak referring to him as “little big brother”

Wings is Tuks favourite brother. He always makes time for her and is always up to lend a helping hand when she wants to learn new hunting skills.

One thing about Wing, he is a storm - He is spontaneous, loud and dangerous.

He fiercely protective and would do anything in his power to protect his family.

Wings suffers from body dysmorphia, he struggles with not looking like his siblings or parents often finding his appearance week and chubby.

He is close with Spider however there is a little bit of resentment for how openly accepted Wings was into the Sully family when Spider has to fight tooth and nail just to be recognised as something other than a demon or a stray.

Wings holds nothing to Spider except from brotherly love and overall playfulness. 

Neteyam and Lo’ak are his brothers they will make that abundantly clear to anyone who needs it, same with Tuk and Kiri - Wings ain’t about to let anyone fuck with his sisters.

Tuk looks up to Wings, loves to cuddle with him and play with his hair.

Wings enjoys annoying Kiri, it’s all in good fun.

He’s just a normal teenager, living happily with his family … that is until an old enemy reappears from the dead.

The same enemy who killed his mother.

Sadboi's Incredibly Strange Multifandom Adventure - Chapter 19: How Was the Fall

As the group left the world of Minecraft behind, Sadboi set her sights onto the world of "Undertale," where she had heard of a place called the Underground, a place of monsters and a story of peace. The portal swirled open, and they stepped through into a landscape that was a stark contrast to the blocky pixelated world they had just left. The Underground was a canvas of rich, hand-drawn beauty, with watercolor tints and a serene melody that filled the air.

Sadboi looked around the area with awe. "I used to be so obsessed with this game. You literally couldn't escape it online back when it released."

Sponge Bob and Patrick exchanged confused looks. "What game?" Patrick asked.

Sadboi's expression turned to one of surprise, "Woah, you guys literally haven't heard of Undertale? That's a first."

The French Narrator, ever eager to educate, began to explain, "Undertale is a game where you play as a human child who falls into a world of monsters. The story revolves around choosing either to fight or befriend these creatures."

Sadboi nodded. "I considered it a form of escape. The setting felt similar to my own situation, but that's besides the point. We should proceed with caution despite its warmth, cause-and-effect is a big draw of this universe."

They descended into the Underground, guided by the gentle piano tunes that grew stronger as they approached the first town, Toriel's Home. The French Narrator, ever the scholar of narrative, took the lead, explaining the complexities of the Underground's society and the Great War that had separated humans and monsters. Sadboi listened with a rapt attention, hearing the familiar lore from a fresh voice.

As they approached, a figure emerged from the mist: a goat with a crown of flowers and a gentle smile. "Welcome, travelers," Toriel greeted them. "You must be lost. I am Toriel, caretaker of the Ruins."

Sadboi nodded. From context clues, she surmised that the point in time must be from before Frisk, the main character of the game, fell into Mount Ebbot. But Sadboi kept her chill attitude, knowing that they wouldn't have to escape through the barrier when their duty here was done.

"We're not lost, we're here to help," Sadboi said, stepping forward. Her voice was filled with a newfound confidence, "We've seen a lot, and we know that sometimes, you just need friends."

Toriel's smile grew, and she looked them over, her gaze lingering on the diamond sword in Sadboi's hand. "Friends indeed," she mused, "but you carry a weapon of destruction."

Sadboi understood, keeping her poise nonthreatening. She sheathed the sword. "We only use it to purify corruption, like the Dark Matter we've encountered. We're the Guardians of Synthesis, and we're here to ensure peace between worlds."

Toriel's eyes softened. "Ah, a noble quest indeed. But beware, young ones. The Underground is not a simple place to navigate. There are those who seek to harm you and those who are hurt themselves." She nodded towards the village, "If you wish to truly help, then you must understand us. Visit the village and speak with its inhabitants. They may be able to guide you to where your help is most needed."

They followed Toriel into the village, passing by curious monsters that paused from their daily routines to stare at the newcomers. The French Narrator, ever the charmer, waved and greeted them in a mix of English and French, which earned them a few chuckles and waves in return. The village was a blend of quaint and eerie, with a sense of melancholy that seemed to hang in the air.

Once inside, they met a variety of unique characters. There was Papyrus, the overenthusiastic skeleton who talked their ears off about his aspirations to be a part of the royal guard, and Sans, his lazy, pun-loving brother who seemed to know more than he let on. They encountered Undyne, the leader of the royal guard, a bustling, no-nonsense fishmonger, and Alphys, the shy, yet brilliant scientist who had a penchant for speaking too fast -- which Sadboi had to restrain her excitement around because of their shared love of anime; otherwise the others wouldn'tve ever heard the end of it.

As they listened to the villagers' stories, they couldn't help but feel a kinship with them. Each monster had their own quirks, their own struggles, and their own reasons for fighting or hiding. The group decided to split up, with Sadboi and Patrick heading towards the Hotlands to gather information on any recent disturbances, and SpongeBob and the French Narrator staying behind to help with the reconstruction of the village.

The journey to the Hotlands was treacherous, with the air growing hotter and the scenery turning into a fiery landscape. They met Undyne again, who was surprised to see them in such a dangerous place. "You guys are brave," she exclaimed, "but also a bit crazy, coming here unprepared."

Patrick, ever the optimist, gave a thumbs up. "Don't worry, we've got this. Besides, Sadboi's got a knack for this kind of thing."

Sadboi blushed slightly, her eyes glancing at the sword on her back. "Thanks for the vote of confidence."

They ventured deeper, facing the heat and the challenges it brought. The ground was unstable, with lava pits threatening to swallow them whole. But they pressed on, their hearts set on their mission.

In the Hotlands, they stumbled upon a group of monsters under the control of the Dark Matter. Their eyes were vacant, their movements jerky and erratic. Sadboi's vibesense went haywire as she felt the pain and confusion emanating from them.

"We have to help them," she said, determination etched into her voice.

Patrick nodded. "But how do we do that without hurting them?"

Sadboi thought for a moment, then a plan began to form in her mind. "We'll have to find the source of the corruption and cut it off from them. It's like a bad internet connection, messing with their code."

They approached the monsters carefully, using their friendship as a shield. The corrupted monsters paused, their movements faltering as the light of the Guardians of Synthesis washed over them. Slowly, they began to resist the dark influence, their eyes regaining their former spark.

The corruption was stronger here, and it was clear that the Dark Matter had sunk its hooks deep into the fabric of the Underground. But as they fought, the monsters started to recover, their true forms emerging from the shadowy pixels.

The French Narrator's voice echoed through their minds, "Remember, the power of unity is our greatest weapon."

Sadboi took a deep breath and focused, her eyes shifting to a bright neon pink. "Let's do this, Patrick!"

The two of them combined their strengths, Sadboi's vibesense leading the way and Patrick's brute force following close behind. Together, they broke the barrier that held the monsters in thrall. The Dark Matter retreated, leaving a path to the source of the corruption.

They emerged into a chamber, where a giant, crystalline heart pulsed with malicious intent. The heart of the corruption. Sadboi knew what she had to do. She approached, her hand trembling as she reached out to touch it.

The heart surged with power, and she could feel the dark energy coursing through it. But she remained steadfast, her light growing stronger. The heart cracked, and the Dark Matter's influence began to wane.

The monsters, now freed, surrounded them, their eyes gleaming with gratitude. "Thank you," one of them murmured.

Sadboi looked around, her heart swelling with joy. "We're the Guardians of Synthesis," she said, "and we're here to help."

The group reassembled at the village, their faces tired but their spirits high. They had made a difference, and they knew that their journey was far from over. As they rested, they heard whispers of a new threat looming, one that would take them to the very core of the Underground itself, aptly named "The Core".

The French Narrator leaned in, a glint in his eye. "The story of the Underground is one of love, sacrifice, and determination. And it seems we have yet to reach the climax of our own tale."

Sadboi nodded, her gaze firm. "We'll face whatever comes next together. That's what we do."

They set off once more, their destination set. The journey to The Core was fraught with trials and tribulations, each one more challenging than the last. The group faced fiercer monsters and puzzles that tested their wit, but with every step they grew closer to their goal.

As they approached the entrance to The Core, the temperature grew unbearable. Sweat trickled down their faces, and even Patrick looked like he might wilt under the intense heat. But they didn't waver. They had come too far to turn back now.

Sadboi took a moment to appreciate the beauty of the Underground's most dangerous area. The fiery landscape was a stark contrast to the serene world of Minecraft they had just left behind. She knew that within this inferno lay the heart of the corruption they sought to purify.

The group stepped into the volcanic chamber, and immediately, they were confronted by the final boss of the area, Asgore, the King of the Underground. His massive form, a fusion of goat and human, loomed over them, his eyes burning with the same corruption that had plagued the other monsters.

"Asgore, we come in peace," Sadboi called out, her voice steady despite the fear that clawed at her insides. "We're here to purify the Dark Matter that's controlling you."

The creature roared, raising his weapon, a mighty spear that seemed to pulse with malevolent energy.

Patrick took a step forward, fists clenched. "We don't wanna fight, but we will if we have to!"

The French Narrator placed a calming hand on his shoulder. "Patience, my friend. Let us first appeal to the heart of this creature."

Sadboi stepped closer to Asgore, her eyes glowing with a gentle light. She reached out with her vibesense, searching for any sign of the kindness that had been obscured by the corruption. As she did so, she felt something shift within her own heart.

The battle was intense, a dance of light and shadow. Sadboi directed her friends' efforts, using her vibesense to find the weak points in the corrupted Asgore's armor. The French Narrator, now fully transformed into Kamen Rider Dolphin, wielded his narrative powers to weave a story of unity and hope, counteracting the Dark Matter's influence.

The fight was tough, with Asgore's spear clashing against their combined might. Each blow was met with a resounding boom that echoed through the cavernous chamber. Despite their efforts, the corruption clung to the king, refusing to let go.

Amidst the chaos, Sadboi felt something within her change. The vibesense grew stronger, reaching a crescendo she had never experienced before. Her body was alight with a newfound energy, and she knew what she had to do.

"Guys, step back!" she called out, her voice resonating with power.

The others obeyed, watching as she focused all her vibesense into her hand. The energy coalesced into a brilliant blue orb, the color of her cubehead's aura when she was at her most determined.

With a deep breath, she launched the orb at Asgore's chest, where his heart lay beneath the layers of corruption. The moment it made contact, the air was filled with a piercing light that forced everyone to shield their eyes.

When the light subsided, Asgore stood before them, his eyes clear and free of the Dark Matter's hold. He looked down at the spear in his hand, then to the heroes who had stood before him.

"Thank you," he said, his voice trembling with relief. "You've saved us all."

The group shared a moment of victory, their hearts swelling with pride and joy. They had done it; they had cleansed another world of the Dark Matter's corruption. But they knew that their quest was far from over.

The French Narrator, ever the storyteller, spoke up. "The journey to the ultimate battle draws near. The fate of not just one world, but all worlds, hangs in the balance."

The Guardians of Synthesis nodded in unison, their resolve stronger than ever. They had faced challenges and grown from them, learned from each world they had saved, and formed bonds that transcended dimensions.

The portal to the next world opened before them, a swirl of colors and shapes that hinted at the adventure that awaited. Without hesitation, they stepped through, ready to face whatever the multiverse had in store for them.

The narrator's voice grew solemn. "In the grand tapestry of existence, our heroes continue to weave a tale of friendship and courage. To the next chapter, mes amis, to the heart of the storm where the Dark Matter's reign will be no more."

And with that, the next episode of their epic saga began.

So far what I have. Is ok so like he’s really similar to Utaha in the way that they were both forced into the role of caring for their younger siblings in place of parents. For Soga though, the circumstances are very different and far from as dire and damaging as Utaha’s. Essentially, his parents had him very young and unplanned, and things kind of sucked for their family ngl. They did their best and love him a lot, but he had to be left alone or with neighbors frequently while they worked. Now, they’re a lot better off, and he has three younger siblings, a significant amount younger than him, at 3, 5, and 7. When his first sister was born he had to step up to care for her. Even though they’re better off than they were, his parents still have to work a lot, and so it’s up to him to care for his little siblings, luckily though his neighbors are always willing to lend a hand so it’s not all resting on him. Through being the main caretaker for his sisters and brother though, he does discover his love of children and working with and caring for them (I already have it planned out that he becomes a social worker as an adult because he wants to help kids and when he does his work study programs during highschool and college he will always choose to volunteer at a kindergarten).

Overall Soga is just a really kind hearted, warm guy and his love for taking care of and helping people extends to his team. He’s got a very gentle soul and is just overall extremely calming and safe to be around. His boobs are so big because his heart is just that massive /silly. Another thing about him though is that despite having this disposition and being captain of the team, he’s a total wreck when it comes to public speaking and gets really anxious about it (Matsu always has to be his moral support) and he has a tendency to overthink what he says and get embarrassed by it. He can spout off something really motivational and heartfelt and immediately afterwards start imploding bc he gets anxious about it. The only place he feels truly in his element and completely confident is when he’s with kids, actually. But yeah, talking (especially to large groups) isn’t exactly his strong suit, but he’s still an awesome captain regardless and also can give really good advice, even if he thinks otherwise.

He doesn’t have a good plot line thought out yet but I really wanna work with him more bc I love him ❤️❤️

Robin coming from a lower class background, having felt like an outcast, and possessing a similar creativity and sharpness (enough to survive the UD on her own for a week) with a sarcastic streak similar to Will; “Is that why you don’t have friends?” / “He just said he dumped your ass, that doesn’t sound like a break” That’s literally her

Imagine Robin being Will, her going missing, and then Jonathan turning up in the woods around the same time; Steve being suspicious of him + of the way Nancy trusts him to help them find Robin can mirror S1 Lucas’s suspicion towards El and her intentions while really wanting to find Will

I can see Robin falling in love with Nancy like Will has for Mike; meanwhile Nancy was raised in the Wheeler household that’s so famously known for having parents that love each other, and then there’s her relationship with Jonathan

Eddie would join the group later like he did in the actual show S4 + when Dustin joined the Party later; sharp, D&D informant guy, lives with a single parental figure, sometimes boisterous and snarky, a little impulsive, would also probably be the type to foster a demogorgon baby that ended up eating something it shouldn’t

Good natured bickering Lucas and Dustin (especially in the early seasons) to good natured bickering Steve and Eddie would translate so well

That scene in S1 where Dustin enthusiastically tries to get El to levitate a toy spaceship by just dropping it in front of her while she doesn’t react lmao that’s Eddie and Jonathan

Argyle is the last to join the Party, originally hailing from CA and wanting to make friends as a lonely newcomer to Hawkins; the supernatural and everything the Party deals with can be a lot, but he goes where the group goes, accepting the risk and rolling with it, sorta like he does with Cali gang in S4, driving all the way to Indiana, and learning his best friend’s little sister has powers

Initially Argyle was being left out of the loop by the group and later, despite being excited to meet him, Jonathan was probably a little dismissive of him at first like El was to Max

But they warm up to each other, and the S3 Elmax bonding where Max helps El experience being a regular kid -> Jargyle bonding where Argyle helps Jonathan experience being a regular kid kinda like S4 Jargyle with Jonathan having been able to have a friend + feel a little more like a teenager

El going to Max for relationship advice in S3 -> Jonathan going to Argyle for relationship advice

Also he’s a good driver; he was the getaway driver for Cali gang that is zoomer behavior

Apparently Sun Kisses are Non Refundable

Hey!! Here’s another drabble that took over my mind and refused to let go until I wrote it out. It doesn’t really fit into the main story yet so I decided to post it here. It’ll be re edited and posted there later on after the Camp Half-Blood Renovations and Other Shenanigans arc!

Percy exited the Big House and groaned in agitation, he and Chiron had been discussing naval strategies and possible warship designs all morning and into the late afternoon. They weren’t planning to go to war anytime soon, but with recent events far too close to one another to be a happy coincidence, they thought it best to be prepared for the worst.

If anything, they could be used as transportation or a leisurely trip around the world.

Triton was actually supposed to be at their meeting, but he was caught up with a massive back up of missing packages in Armoniá, so he sent Percy up instead and asked that he go over everything on his list with great detail.

Percy sighed in relief, as much as he loved talking about the sea, Triton somehow managed to make even that a chore. He’d written around a hundred questions and he had to pencil in every single answer. His hand was buzzing by the end of it and he had to shake it repeatedly to get the feeling back in it.

Along with Triton, Apollo and Hermes were scheduled to be at camp today to visit some of their kids.

Lately the gods had been observing Percy’s stay with Poseidon and saw the healthy benefits of maintaining a good in-person relationship with their children. However, due to Percy’s special exceptions, they weren’t quite allowed to take their children home with them, but Zeus had begun to allow more frequent visits, and he deemed meetups at camp to be a good neutral place to start.

As expected, both the gods and their children of all ages were happy with the arrangement and got two gods visiting every three weeks for an entire day.

It was slow, but the gods had their duties to attend to, so both parties were grateful with what they could have.

Percy stopped by Will Solace who was standing a good distance away from the archery range, he had a soft smile on his face as he watched his Father teach his youngest sibling how to notch an arrow on a bow.

“Hey Will, how's it going?”

Will blinked and flashed Percy a smile as bright as his Father’s, “It’s been great man! Greta’s learning so much from Dad.” fondness laced his tone at the mention of his eight year old sister, “She’s been doing so good.”

His sister was one of the youngest demigods here at Camp Half-Blood, her mortal mother had died in a terrible car accident that left Greta alone without anyone to care for her.

Apollo had sent Grover and Will to pick her up right away before the mortal legal system could and ever since then, Will, with his softer disposition, has been acting as her main caretaker.

“That’s really good to hear.” he said earnestly.

“Hm.” he hummed happily.

As they continued to watch, Percy felt a tug on his shirt and when he turned around, he was face to face with Hermes’ sons Connor and Travis, “Wassup guys?”

“Nothing much.” said Connor.

“Just wanted to thank you.”

“For what?” replied a baffled Percy.

Both brothers leaned on each of his shoulders and relaxed their stance, “It’s just really nice seeing our Dad like this.” Conner said in his easy going drawl, while eyeing his Father Hermes playing tag with his younger siblings in the distance, “You really came through for us on this one.”

“Whoa hang on, I didn’t do anything.” Percy denied.

“You just don’t see it man, but as cheesy as it sounds, we can all feel it.”

Percy didn’t know what to say to such a response, all he’d been doing was staying with his divine family in the ocean. How could he have possibly made a difference by just doing that?

“Hey, don’t think too hard about it.” Travis nudged him from his side, “Just go with it okay?”

“I don’t know.”

“Percy, just shut up and accept it.” Will chipped in.

“Yeah okay, fine.” Percy relented, “I’m just glad that whatever I did makes you guys happier.”

“Luke would’ve loved this.”

Percy almost didn’t hear Connor say it, but he couldn’t have imagined it, “Do you think so?”

He could feel both of their arms tighten reassuringly around him, he turned and saw Connor flash him a warm smile, “Definitely.”

Percy still wasn’t really sure how his actions made these godly visits possible or what he did to deserve such good brothers-in-arms, but he would never take it for granted.

All fuzzy fluttering in his stomach aside, he couldn’t help but stare longingly at both of the Stoll brother’s arms and Will’s face.

“Hahhh, you guys are so lucky.”

“What do you mean?”

“You have such awesome tans.” he cast a gloomy gaze at his own lackluster arms, “I still have my natural olive tone, but because I spent so much time in Atlantis, I’ve lost my glow.”

Will eyed him critically while stroking his chin, “Hmm, yeah I see what you mean Perce. You have a natural light olive complexion, but you don’t have your bronzy sun kissed glow anymore.”

Percy groaned in annoyance, “I won’t be able to brag about my tan to Triton if I don’t get my glow back.”

Because of Triton’s asocial tendencies, he rarely left the sea and had a pale/fair olive tone skin as a result.

“Meh, cheer up!” chirped Travis, “You can always get it back the good ol’ fashioned way.”

“And that would be?”

“Hard labor under the sun!” both brothers said at the same time.

“Gee, I guess that’s one way to get sun kissed.”

“A Sun Kiss? What about it?”

All three boys turned and saw the Sun God Apollo walking towards them with the rest of his children following closely behind him.

“Hey Dad.” greeted Will, “Percy was just whining-

“I wasn’t whining.” the Sea Prince pouted.

-that he lost his bronze glow because of how long he spent in the deep sea with his folks.”

Apollo tilted his head, “Let’s see.” he pulled Percy away from the Stolls and squinted at his arms, “Ugh, you’re right, you do look pasty.”

“Thanks a lot.” he grumbled.

Apollo’s expression brightened up, “Hey it’s no problem. I can fix your pasty problem easy peasey!”

“Really, how?” Percy asked hopefully.

A devious look set itself on the Sun God’s face and his grip tightened ever so slightly.

“Like this!”

Without any regard to anyone who was there to witness, Apollo hauled Poseidon’s Prince towards him, caged him in his arms, and planted a firm three second kiss so close to his lips that it barely qualified as a cheek kiss.

!!!

The Stolls, Will, and everyone else around them all gaped at the scene in shock! Percy wasn’t faring any better, his eyes were as wide as saucers and his jaw felt like it was two inches from hitting the ground.

But then he started to glow.

His skin was brightening up and it almost looked like he was going to reveal his true godly form and by instinct, the surrounding demigods shielded their eyes and looked away. When the lights died down, Percy stood there, still in the Sun God’s arms, sporting a gorgeous sun kissed golden bronze overtone on his skin.

"Taadaa!" Apollo cheered.

After realizing that they weren’t seconds away from being accidentally vaporized, the first to recover was none other than Will.

“DAAAAAD!” he screeched in mortification, his surrounding siblings voiced similar sounds of distress. He had both hands on his face and was peeking through his fingers, “Don’t go around kissing my friends!”

His words seemed to ignite the flames and everyone around them, including the spectators that the God’s presence drew in, was still either in shock, squealing, or wolf whistling.

Amidst the noise, Percy finally slipped out of Apollo’s hold, “Well, I guess that’s one way to do it.” he really couldn’t complain, his former golden glow had returned and looked even more radiant than it previously ever did.

The Sun God beamed at him and waggled his eyebrow, “I do believe your gratitude is in order?”

“Uhh, um thanks?”

“You’re welcome!”

While the excitement ensued around them, one being stood behind them and gaped half in disbelief and half in horror, “Ouranos, Gaia, and Chaos Almighty...please tell me you didn’t do what I think I just saw you do.”

Apollo turned around and proudly showcased the Sea Prince to his godly brother, “Do you like it? He looks great doesn’t he?”

Hermes walked deliberately slowly towards him and gestured to Percy, “Apollo...for a Sun God, how can you be so dim!” he spat.

The playful smirk fell off Apollo’s face, “Hey, watch it.”

Everyone present fell silent to the rising tension.

“Do you not realize what you’ve done?” Hermes continued, “You’ve given him a Sun Kiss!”

“Well I sure as hades wasn’t trying to give him a Sun Stroke.”

“That’s not the point!”

Apollo rolled his eyes, “Alrighty then, what's your point Captain Obvious?”

“That is your Sun Kiss, what do you think is going to happen the moment Poseidon or Triton sees the blessing on his cheek?”

Because it was on his cheek, Percy couldn’t see that there was a large faint shimmery outline of a sun at the corner of his lips where Apollo had kissed him.

At least to the demigods it looked that way, but to the fully divine; the Sun God might as well have put a beacon of light on his face that blatantly declared: APOLLO WAS HERE!

Apollo paled, and looked as though he’d suddenly gone and lost his own signature golden glow, “Oh sh-

“Dad!” Will yelped, holding his hands over his youngest sibling’s ears, “Not in front of Greta!

“-sssssuugar honey iced tea!” he quickly amended.

“Uh yeah, sugar honey iced tea, you moron!” berated the God of Thieves, “They’re gonna skin you alive and use your pelt to decorate the foot of his throne!”

Apollo whirled his attention to the Sea Prince and stared at him as though he would spontaneously turn into Poseidon if he so much as dared to breathe.

“Apollo,” Percy put his hands up and started to back away slowly, “Hey, let’s calm down and think about this.”

He did not calm down.

He pounced him to the ground, straddled him, and began to rub his forearm across his cheek, “Haha! Not to worry!” he tried to convince himself, “All I gotta do is rub it off!”

“Ow ow ow- STOP IT BURNS- ow ow!”

“How do you know that’s even going to work?” Hermes asked in exasperation.

“I don’t!”

“Then what are you gonna do?!”

“I don’t know!” Apollo wailed, he switched tactics and tried to remove his blessing with spit now coating his thumb “My Sun Kisses never warranted me a death sentence before so I’ve never actually had to remove one!”

“NO DON’T- Ewww gross! I said STOP!”

“Well you gotta do something!” Hermes not so helpfully pointed out.

“Like what?!”

“I don’t know either!”

“GET OFF OF ME!” Percy bellowed and thrust his pelvis upward into the Sun God’s groin so hard that he was launched into the air and landed in a painful pathetic heap a couple of yards away from him.

The Sea Prince rolled over and sat on his haunches, he was teary eyed and his cheek was rubbed raw and a bright angry pink, but the mark was still clear as day, “I told you to stop!”

Apollo recovered quickly and faced the enraged Sea Prince, “I need to get that off you, my life is on the line!”

“You were about to sandpaper my cheek off!”

“I’ll fix it later!” he promised, and held his damp, spit covered thumb menacingly, “Now come back here!”

“Get away from me!”

The campers couldn’t believe the scene they were made to witness. It was absolutely unreal. Apollo’s children were forced to watch as Percy Jackson ran away from their Father, the Mighty Sun God Apollo’s spit covered thumb as if he was trying to avoid catching the cooties.

“Come back! I need to clean you!” he demanded while waving his thumb like a weapon of mass destruction.

To which Percy did his best to avoid.

“No!”

The chase went on for a full three minutes until Percy was able to run an arc around Apollo and make a mad dash to the fountain. He needed to hydro drift the heck outta there!

He was almost home free and was about to launch himself in but someone else had just hydro drifted out of it.

It was his brother Triton!

Percy’s momentum caused him to slam right into his brother’s unsuspecting arms and toppled both of them onto the surface of the water.

Triton sat up sputtering and stared down at his brother in bafflement, he had a vice grip around his upper arms and his face was buried in the crook of his neck.

“Perseus? What in our Father’s name has gotten into you?”

Now Percy’s been through a lot of ordeals, ones that have tested his strength, his resolve, his will to live; you name it. However, he could say with full confidence that he’d never dealt with something of this nature.

His cheek felt like it was on fire, some of Apollo’s spibble was still dripping down his chin, and he felt absolutely humiliated. He could take on many things, but a blow to his pride like this?

It crossed the godsdamned line!

He knew what he was about to do was playing dirty and he’d be manipulating his brother, but he craved vengeance.

Apollo could only stare in silent horror as he saw and recognized what could only mean his impending doom.

Percy scrunched up his face, and started to weep softly.

Triton flinched in alarm when he heard Perseus start to weep into his neck, “Perseus?” Why was his brother crying? What could possibly bring his strong and proud brother to this state? He could even feel him trembling! He wrapped his arms around his back and cradled him closer, “Brother what’s wrong?”

“Triton,” he whimpered, “It was awful *sniff!* he- *sob*”

“Who was it?” the Sea God demanded.

“I-I tried to *hic* get away b-but *sniff!* I was trapped and he*sniff sob!*” Percy paused for a dramatic effect, “TRITON HE-

“Perseus what happened?!” Triton shouted in a rare public display of lost composure, he pulled his brother back, grabbed his face, and tilted it up to get a look at it and he froze.

His brother’s eyebrows were upturned in woe, his beautiful soulful eyes were filled to the brim with crystalline tears that clumped his thick lashes together and threatened to fall down his face in streams, and the right side of his cheek was a blistering, angry, raw colored pink...

With a Sun Kiss branded on the corner of his mouth.

Everything around Triton started to get fuzzy and he could hear his ichor pounding in his ears. He couldn’t think, couldn’t even fathom something so ugly marring his brother’s lovely face.

Perseus sniffled and leaned into the cool touch of Triton’s palm, “I t-tried to take it off, b-but he chased me *sniff!* and h-hurt my back.” Upon closer observation, Triton saw that his brother’s back was indeed all scratched up as well, “T-Triton.” he whispered and closed his eyes, he needed to make sure his best weapon was well primed. He took in a final shuddering breath and dished out his own personal brand of payback, unleashing all of Tartarus on his perpetrator.

Triton stared blankly at his baby brother as he opened his eyes again and finally let his tears fall, “Triton, he forced himself on me...Apollo kissed me!”

Percy had revealed his Crying Baby Seal Eyes™ of mass destruction.

Something snapped within the Sea God as he slowly brought his gaze up to meet the Sun God’s. He carded his fingers through his brother’s hair to soothe him and summoned his Trident in his free palm; crackling and fizzing, his divine aura was nearly bursting at the seams, his pupils constricted into slits,

“YOU FILTHY MONGREL.”

At that point, Hermes had gathered all the kids and quickly whisked them and himself to safety, while Apollo stood there like a deer caught in headlights at the sight of Crown Prince Triton’s rage. From the corner of his eye, he saw a tiny smile play on Percy’s shapely lips as he gazed at him in utter satisfaction.

Perseus Achilles had indeed inherited his Father Poseidon’s infamous mood swings.

It was right then and there, that Apollo knew, he FUCKED up.

Obi was different than other 8 year olds, he had to be. To survive. To be able to make it out there for so long on his own. He was strong, cunning and independent. He was better. But beside edgy internal monologs about life and death, he fitted into the same category as other 8 year olds. Dumb. That's what his mother said. Obi still sometimes thinks about her. He used to be sad about her.. "situation", but now he just laughs. She was the dumb one. At least that's what auntie Anna-Marie from the Bloody Mary brothel says. And Obi is convinced she's right.

Sister Fiona, the apathetic nun who for some reason was appointed as another one of the caretakers, said the great goddess Somni doesn't find the kids lives interesting enough to hate them. That so called cold hard truth caused Obi to release a snicker. Seeing Obi's reaction made his baby brother, still only 6 years old, snicker as well. Aniki lightly bonked both of their heads with a sigh. Nokaru stayed silent. Obi wonder if she believed the words of Sister Fiona.

Obi pondered about the great goddess some more.

Maybe she hated him like he hated green beans... Maybe she hated him the same way he hated his mother.. And maybe she hated Obi the same way his mother did.

"You can ignore 70% of the nihilistic bullshit Sister Fiona says.... With all due respect." Obi added the last part after short pause out of actual respect of Sister Fiona. He was also convinced she could hear everything so he tried to patch up his little slip up.

"Nihilistic?" Nokaru turned her head to the side in a questioning manner. How cute. Obi coughed.

"Ehm.. Well it's like... " Obi didn't have an answer for Nokaru's question because he himself didn't know what the word meant. He just recited the same phrase he heard Tsu-sensei say a while ago to his older brother.

Nokaru noticed Obi's skittishness and decided she will just ask Sister Fiona what it means later herself.

"Anyway!" with a little huff Nokaru swiftly pulled herself up from the fallen tree trunk she was sitting on, making sure not to slip on the tree moss, she sled closer to Obi who was sitting at the end of the trunk.

"I heard Mr. Zarr is returning today. Let's go ask Mrs. Rita when exactly he will be back."

Nokaru tried to sound more excited than she actually was.. It's not like she wasn't happy The Boss will be back, of course not! She was pumped and wanted to ask all about his adventures in Tanbarun. She just wanted to change the topic fast to make Obi feel less uncomfortable. And it worked. Obi pulled the biggest smile she had ever seen on him. Good. Obi's usual relaxed demeanor changed into ecstatic one. In an instant he jumped up, grabbed Nokaru's hand and with a boyish smirk sprinted towards the main house.

"GUYS THERE'S A FROG HERE!" yelled little Haru excitedly from the rocky side of the pond where the gang has been camping out for a while now.

"Where?!" star eyed Nokaru run up to Haru's crouched down figure in full speed, almost tripping over the bigger rocks in her path.

"Awww Haru where did it go?"

"Wha- huh no... It just flew away!" Haru gasped with whiny tone, looking all around. No frog to be found.

"It.. flew.. away?" raising an eyebrow Obi walked over to join the hunt for the lost frog.

The older kids, only including Tom Aniki and Hana, were trying to fish in peace still standing on the other side of the pond. Tom just shook his head.

"Maybe it did fly away.. " defeated sigh followed soon after Tom mumble the claim to himself. He just doesn't want anyone fighting again and burst Haru's bubble. That being said it was hard not to start playful fight with both Obi and Haru present.

"Frogs don't fly, stupid." scoffed Obi.

"Well this one just did!" whined Haru defensively.

"STOP LYING!"

"IT DID FLY AWAY!"

In the middle of this childish and petty bickering, stood Nokaru, like a stick figure you would draw with dull crayon.

"You guys..." the more reasonable child tried to laugh it off with an awkward giggle. Her attempts went unnoticed. The bickering continued.

"IT DID! IT DID FLY AWAY! CAUSE FROGS CAN DO ANYTHING AND YOU ARE JUST A MEANIE!" yelling on top of his little lungs Haru pumped his fists in almost cute threatening manner. Obi just laughed at his little brother.

"I'm a meanie? Really, that's all you got?"

"Dickhead."

"Oh, okay."

It’s actually kind of ironic that you bring up Katara’s taste, since, throughout the show, we have examples of the guys she likes, to greater or lesser extents in canon--Jet (explicit romantic feelings on her part, word of god that jet was her first kiss--a kiss that would have been consensual, incidentally, something you should keep in mind for later) and Haru (she denies the crush, but that could just as easily have been because of the abomination he’d been growing on his lip rather than denying those feelings ever existed), both of whom have much more in common (in terms of both emotional and physical maturity, and physical appearance) with Zuko than either of them has with Aang.

Zuko’s book 3 hairstyle is almost exactly reminiscent of Jet’s, even, if not quite as floofy.

(This is probably in part because of Jet’s function as a foil of Zuko within the narrative, particularly given their book 2 encounters, which I think just further solidifies my point that, were it not for extenuating circumstances [like the fact that Zuko was introduced as an enemy and they had significant obstacles to hurdle before they could be friends], Zuko would have been exactly Katara’s type. Had they met under different circumstances, she could have been the girl he went on a date with in Ba Sing Se. Just something to think about.)

So, yes, we’ve established that Katara has her own taste. Her tastes seem to be boys with great hair who are taller than her, the same age or older, and of a similar maturity level.

Aang falls short (heh, short) on all counts. So it isn’t Katara’s taste in boys that led her to be interested in him. Hm!

Next, you claim that Katara ‘developed around Aang’--that she was necessary for his development, and that he was necessary for hers.

Let’s take a moment to examine that, shall we?

I will absolutely grant you that Katara was necessary for Aang’s development--only to a point, of course, but we’ll get to that later--but was he really necessary for Katara‘s growth? I suppose I could grant you this on a generous technicality--he did, after all, provide her with the means to finally leave the South Pole and find a waterbending master to teach her (although she wound up largely self-taught anyway). But that had nothing to do with his relationship to Katara and everything to do with the structure of the plot--Katara and Sokka find Aang (and he never would have gotten out of that iceberg without Katara’s own righteous anger, so even that leads back to her own power), and then they go on a quest to find teachers for the Chosen One and save the world.

The story could not have begun without first finding Aang and then providing means for the other main characters to travel with him (or, in Zuko’s case, chase him), but this has nothing at all to do with Aang’s relationship to Katara. Aang was not a mover in Katara’s developmental arc--if anything, he acted as an obstacle more often than not, his actions ranging from innocent but obnoxious (playing and flirting with girls rather than helping with chores like picking up vital supplies, leaving Katara to do all of the quite literal heavy lifting and keeping her stuck in the role of caretaker that she’d been thrust into following the death of her mother), to deliberate and harmful (hiding the map to Katara and Sokka’s father, a truly selfish action, regardless of his lack of malicious intent, and one for which he never actually apologized), to somewhere in between (”she didn’t really mean that” he says to the man refusing to train Katara because she’s a girl, when yes, she very much did mean that, and Aang was no help in finally getting the old codger to eat his words--Katara had to shove them down his throat her own damn self).

While Katara’s overall arc wasn’t exactly big and dynamic (like Zuko’s redemption arc), or in-your-face (like Sokka getting force-fed Respect Women Juice and his eventual growth into a tactician and leader), it was very much present and woven into her character--and Aang had almost no part in it. He provided her with the means to get to the North Pole, but left Katara alone to fight the patriarchy herself. He messed around while Katara took it on herself to do the chores and keep the Gaang alive, but he did almost nothing to decrease that burden so she could grow out of the caretaker role. (Contrary to popular shipper claims, Aang didn’t actually teach Katara to have fun. She already knew how to have fun. But she couldn’t indulge, because she had a responsibility to her family and her tribe, and later to her brother and Aang and Toph, and Aang goofing off and trying to get her to do the same only added to her burdens rather than subtracting from them.) He provided Katara with the necessary motive to learn to heal herself, but he certainly didn’t seem to learn from the experience of accidentally burning her, preferring instead to claim he was never going to firebend again, despite already knowing, at that point, that he was going to need to master fire along with the other elements to become a fully realized Avatar and defeat the Firelord.

He didn’t help Katara keep them alive during The Desert. (In fact, he ran off, leaving her to desperately try to keep Sokka and Toph from succumbing to the heat while worrying for his safety.) In The Painted Lady, Katara makes the decision to stall the Gaang and do what she can to help the Fire Nation villagers on her own--Aang agrees to help her when he finds out, but he wasn’t actually instrumental in her making that choice. The Puppetmaster was, again, Katara finding a master of her own, and having to deal with the fallout from that. And in The Southern Raiders, Aang was--perhaps unknowingly, if I’m being generous, because he is a child and could not reasonably be expected to fully understand the implications of what he was asking her to do or why it was impossible--actively impeding Katara’s development! She desperately needed closure, something he could not understand and actively belittled and dismissed. The only reason he relented in the end (but not without a condescending ‘I forgive you! Does that give you any ideas???’ parting shot lmao) was because Katara was planning to take Appa anyway, and letting her go (and hoping she’d just magically wind up doing things his way) was easier than trying to fight her on it.

While Aang’s existence was necessary for Katara to start down her own path, she needed neither his guidance nor his approval to follow it--and absolutely nothing would change about Katara’s arc if you removed their romantic relationship entirely.

Possibly because the only changes needed to do so would be to remove the two times Aang kissed Katara without her consent (which, hopefully, no one would actually miss), and the epilogue kiss (which was awkward and unnecessary to begin with, since ending the entire show on a romantic kiss as the final shot kind of missed the point of the story to begin with, but that’s another discussion). None of these kisses (which are the only moments in which Katara’s feelings for Aang are so much as addressed; do note that addressing them, or hinting that they needed to be, is not the same as saying she exhibited any sign of reciprocating them) altered anything about Katara’s behavior, her personal arc, or (and perhaps most critically) her relationship with Aang.

It’s that last point that is really damning, as far as ‘Katara obviously had feelings for Aang, she kissed him in the finale!’ goes. Because she didn’t ‘obviously’ have feelings for him. And the fact that he kissed her before the invasion and then she forgot about it (she literally had no idea what he was talking about during the play’s intermission until he reminded her that he’d kissed her) is pretty clear evidence that she didn’t actually have feelings for him. Not the kind he had for her.

I’ve been a teenage girl. I know what it’s like to be surprise!kissed by your crush. And I absolutely for a full fact know that I had not completely forgotten about that kiss three months later and had, in fact, spent most of my waking hours thinking about it and remembering it and trying to talk to him about it. Now, granted, I was not in the middle of a war, but even if I had been, I doubt I would have needed reminding about the fact that the boy I’ve supposedly been developing feelings for had kissed me and showed clearly that he had those feelings for me too.

At the very least, if Katara was harboring feelings that she was worried about approaching until after the war, her relationship dynamic with Aang should have shifted. But it didn’t. She acted the exact same way with him after the Day of Black Sun as she did before it--that is, as a mother figure and a caretaker, responsible for his wellbeing. (And it’s clear she never took him down off the pedestal she needed him to occupy, either--let it not be said that the unhealthy aspects of their relationship only went one way.)

And book 3 is, incidentally, where Katara went from being vital to Aang’s development to being detrimental to it--or, rather, Aang’s refusal to let go of his attachment to her (despite ostensibly having done as much at the end of book 2) was. Because despite having been told by, perhaps, the greatest authority left in the world on Air Nomad culture (even more than Aang, who had left his temple with a child’s understanding of his culture that was never able to mature because he got stuck in the ice berg while his people were wiped out) that he had to let go of his possessive attachment to this girl who never even expressed the possibility that she might harbor romantic feelings for him to begin with, after Azula killed him and Katara brought him back, he went right back into the mindset of Katara is mine, it’s just a matter of time.

And the narrative validated him for it.

Notice how, during Ember Island Players, Aang says the following (emphasis mine):

“We kissed at the invasion, and I thought we were gonna be together. But we’re not.”

First of all, if you go back and watch the scene, it’s clear it wasn’t a mutual kiss. Aang sprang a surprise kiss on Katara, which left her shocked and unhappy after he flew off. (The decision to have her looking away and frowning was a deliberate one on the part of Bryke, who wanted Katara’s feelings kept ambiguous. Heaven forbid you allow the animators to make it clear that this fourteen-year-old girl who was just kissed without her consent by someone she’d never once demonstrated romantic feelings toward might actually have some. Heaven forbid she have a little agency in her own romantic narrative. But whatever.)

Second, he says he thought they were gonna be together.

He thought.

He never once even asked Katara what she thought--or even how she felt. He just assumes. He assumes that if he kisses her, she’ll kiss him back and they’ll get together. He assumes that she must have feelings for him, even though her body language is closed off and she told him with her words that she did not want to talk or think about this right now, and kisses her regardless of those signals, upsetting her and leading her to storm off.

And the narrative rewards him, because despite the fact that they don’t have a single significant scene together after that second disastrous kiss, Katara just decides off-screen that she Does Love Him Really and walks onto the balcony to make out with him.

The upshot of all this being that, while Katara was indeed instrumental to a lot of Aang’s early growth and development, Aang was not necessary for her own arc, and their romantic relationship (such as it was) actively hampered Aang’s development in book 3, while removing it would change absolutely nothing for Katara (except saving her from some painfully embarrassing memories).

As far as your third point, I’m simply not going to get baited into explaining how reducing Zutara to an ‘oppressor/oppressed’ relationship is not only insulting to interracial couples irl (not to mention any other couple with a potentially unbalanced dynamic of societal power, since there are many more axis of oppression than just racial), but demeaning to Zuko and Katara, their personal arcs as well as their relationship development together.

However, I will point out that Zuko was not responsible for any of Katara’s trauma. She did not find violence and fighting in bending battles to be traumatic--in fact, she reveled in it. She enjoyed fighting against Zuko at multiple points (especially noticeable in their battle at the end of book 1), because she wanted to fight--she always had--and once she had the ability, she was ready to throw down with anyone who gave her the slightest reason. (Including, by the way, her own potential waterbending master.) Aang’s death at the end of book 2 was Azula’s doing, and while I think that contributed to Katara’s extreme reaction to Zuko joining the gaang, it was not something for which she actively blamed him, and it wasn’t something she believed would be repeated--she let him go off alone on a journey to find the original firebending masters with Aang well before she chose to forgive him. So she already trusted Zuko’s intentions and that Aang would be safe with him.

Finally, because this has gotten long enough already, I hope you now understand that Zuko and Katara getting together would not require ignoring any of their development with their canonical romantic partners. We’ve already established that Katara’s arc wouldn’t change in the slightest if all of Aang’s romantic advances were removed, and I haven’t even gotten into how Mai meant nothing in the grand scheme of Zuko’s development because I’m pretty sure that’s just self-evident. I mean, the video compilation put together by Nick showcasing Zuko’s journey throughout the series doesn’t include a single scene with Mai, though it does include several with Katara, and even Jin makes an appearance--because Katara, and even Jin, played key roles in Zuko’s personal journey, while his relationship with Mai happened entirely off-screen and her only real function was to showcase just how unhealthy trying to force himself back into the role of the Crown Prince was for him.

What development, exactly, is there between them to even ignore?

At any rate, I’ve gone on long enough--I hope you enjoy the fact that you activated my wordvomit trap card right when i was about to go to bed, anon, because I just spent two hours writing this instead. In case you’re interested in the TL;DR: at the end of the day, there was no meaningful, mutual development in Kataang’s romantic relationship, and those romantic feelings that did exist were largely one-sided and ultimately detrimental to Aang’s development in the final third of his overall arc. Meanwhile, Mai meant nothing to Zuko’s journey--rather like Aang’s romantic overtures, she could be removed from the show completely and nothing about his story would change--while Zuko and Katara were both vital to each other’s overall storylines, arcs and development. This, coupled with the fact that Zuko never actually traumatized Katara and, in fact, helped her achieve closure from the biggest source of her own trauma, means that Zuko and Katara have better and more believable build up that could potentially lead to a romantic relationship than either of them have with their canon romantic partners.

So no, anon, I didn’t forget anything--I think you may have, though. Perhaps a rewatch is in order? Make sure not to close your eyes for the back half of book 3 this time.

Review: I’m just going to admit that I keep accidentally calling the novel “Love Jones”, after the 90’s Black romance film that had many folks swooning (including me). In fact, in Ebony LaDelle’s debut novel, “Love Radio,” Dani mentions the movie on the at the beginning of the book as her mother is a lover of romance, especially Black Love. With just those few words (and movies identified) I knew this was going to be a fun read as I “watched” two characters fall in love. 

The heart of any good romance is the two main characters and Dani and Prince shine individually and together in this novel. Both are at the cusp of major change in their lives, being seniors in high school, but are having difficulties choosing which direction they want to go in. Dani has a direction, knows what she wants, but is suffering from crippling writer’s block. Prince, on the other hand, has big dreams but is afraid to allow himself to reach for his dream without feeling like he would abandon his family. Those are heavy weights these two carry, so when Prince decides to pursue Dani, it provides a nice distraction for each of them. What I loved about Prince was that he was straightforward and honest with his feelings toward Dani. He made it very clear why he wanted to date her and a relationship is worth it. Dani is very hesitant at first but eventually begins to become more open with Prince. Prince always wears his heart on his sleeve, but through learning love Dani, patiently, he learns more about himself. Both Dani and Prince grow from their relationship that is built on mutual friendship and trust, rather than an instant attraction. In fact, their 3 dates are actually spread over a few months, rather than over a short time period as Prince makes sure to give Dani her space to figure out her own feelings. Prince was all about consent and I absolutely loved him for it. In fact, it is a crucial theme of the book and added to Dani and Prince’s story, making their slow-to-burn romance all the more sweeter. 

While Dani and Prince’s love story was the main, there was another love story underneath - the love for Detroit. I don’t know much about Detroit but I really felt the love and pride for the city through LaDelle’s writing. She makes so many references to specific events, specific places that are unique to Detroit that showed how the city is still a vibrant place with a wonderful community. I learned so much more about Detroit and fell in love with the city as well. 

I’m a sucker for an excellent romance, especially one with Black Love, and Love Radio definitely delivered.

The Bros as Dads

PSA: The boys would be very attractive dads (emotionally and physically). That is all.

Note: the headcanon also includes genders for the kids. I can see some of them having sons, and others having daughters. And, obviously, everyone is older (20′s-ish).

Lucifer

Takes a while to process the news. It’s kind of a big thing. His love life was something of a roller coaster (or nonexistent) until you. The ‘L’ word was a hurdle, now there’s a B word and a P word?!

When his brain realizes what you’ve said or if you show him some proof, the pride takes over FULL SWING (you can feel it explode in him, like his aura) and he purrs

You are truly his stars, his moon, and the heavens he so dearly misses

There’s this raw, vulnerable love in Lucifer’s eyes and it pretty much awes everyone because he’s usually so proper and reserved

The memories are old and dusty but Lucifer’s parenting instincts are strong

A type-A, fussy person. You may have 7 months left before you give birth, but the house will be spotless and perfectly proofed before you hit bed rest

Piles of parenting books suddenly sprout around the house. No one’s sure where they came from or how there’s even that many WRITTEN about parenting.

You and the child become his world. You’re his kryptonite, the only thing to convince him away from long hours or break him out of sour moods

Lucifer is very stressed, more than he thought he’d be, because you’re carrying his child and he worries for your health.

He’s with you every step of the way, from appointments to birth

He’d absolutely drop everything to tend to your needs, or appoint one of the brothers if he couldn’t.

Likes to busy himself with making a nursery and is actually good at themes/interior decorating

Has a tiny desk built in his study. The child won’t be able to join him for a while, but the idea of his tiny joy working on something beside him warms his heart

Hunts down obscure herbs and items from folklore that are supposed to bless pregnancies or benefit the unborn. Turns out he’s really nervous and superstitious.

Lucifer is the worst when it comes to shopping because his pride outweighs his logical restraint. If he convinces himself IN THE SLIGHTEST that his child would look good in something or the nursery could really use an item, it’s coming to the House of Lamentation

He ugly cries when he realizes you’re having a girl because he feels like Lilith has been given back to him.

Refuses to name his child Lilith because of everything that happened. Can’t settle for anything close to her name or any nicknames they gave her.

Makes you a sleeping space in his study. Loves to take breaks to watch you sleep. Unintentionally takes a break to kiss your stomach and talk to the baby.

Firm believer in ‘in the belly’ enrichment so you’ll have music playing and Lucifer will read to them all the time.

If the baby’s not with you, she’s with him. Lucifer has definitely shown up to a meeting with Lord Diavolo with his baby in a chest carrier. The meeting went flat because Diavolo wanted to play with the baby.

He’s the type of dad that demands total silence when the baby’s sleeping. Might have tied up some of his brothers to achieve it.

He’s not a total hard-ass (this kid has made a sucker out of him, okay?) but his kid will definitely have manners and knows to help clean up.

The type to take naps with his kid. He’ll get up at 2 in the morning and climb into their crib if they’re fussy.

Lucifer spent so much of his life being the primary caretaker for his bros that he forgets he’s not alone this time. When you push him back down so he can sleep, and tend to your daughter, his heart almost bursts with love.

On the fence about another child. The kid’s going to have pride in spades and he thinks a sibling will humble them (and make them less lonely). He’s also afraid of that prideful wrath and doesn’t want two prideful little demons always fighting

Isn’t the best with dressing up his kid but likes to give them fancy shoes. The shoes are always on point even if the rest of the outfit is a disaster.

Is 100% ready to receive any and everything “#1 Dad” because he IS, DAMN IT. He’ll use it regularly, too.

Mammon

He’s freaking out hardcore (”You sure? Really, really sure? Maybe you just have gas or something. Y-yeah!”)

Doesn’t believe it until he sees a test. Promptly faints. Dead-ass faints as soon as he sees it.

Kind of remembers it when he wakes up, and you have to remind him again.

This time he’s pretty excited because THE GREAT MAMMON will be having a child. WHAT A GIFT, RIGHT? THE BEST GIFT!

All the magazines are snapping up this gossip and, for once in his life, he puts the earnings away. Kid has a nice fund going before they’re even born.

His schedule is 50% work, 50% family because YOUR MAIN MAN HAS TO BE THERE. Work just pays the bills and pads the nursery account, okay?

The Devildom has something similar to a baby shower and Mammon puts all KINDS of high-dollar shit on there. His baby’s going to be stylin’, okay?

Some crying in front of others, but an entirely different kind of crying behind closed doors. Vulnerable, grateful crying about being loved and having a tiny someone who will love him, too

Pays someone to explain baby stuff to him. How to change them, feed them, what type of breathing you should be doing. It surprised his bros because Lucifer could just give him that info. The fact that Mammon paid for it means he’s pretty serious about learning.

Gets tons of free maternity photos because all his magazines want the scoop. He gets to pamper you and see you all dressed up and beautiful and EVERY magazine has a shot of him crying like a proud sap.

Mammon hoards all of those pictures. Has a pile of them in his room, totally separate from everything else.

Has a lot of nervous energy and can get frustrated with all the baby books, so he distracts himself with scrap-booking. Surprisingly good at it.

Mammon thinks you’re just the most beautiful thing ever. He loves taking pictures of you. Wants the kid to have no doubts about how much he loves them and their parent.

He’s so lovesick. When you sleep or hug your belly or just touch it he melts.

Stacks Grimm on your belly when you sleep. Thinks it’s fun. Likes to record how big the towers get.

Not the best at getting up for your random-hour cravings and has definitely made you cry with his bluntness. When he’s more awake he’ll apologize and you guys will work it out.

When he finds out he’s having a little boy, the bros throw a party. Mammon gets semi-drunk and has a huge, ass-chewing lecture about how the bros made him feel for centuries and how they better not say ANYTHING like that to his kid.

You shot down any and all attempts to name the kid anything money related.

Almost passed out when you had the baby.

Cried when he first held him. Calls him Mamm-mini.

Totally planning the baby’s first photo shoot. Has people on standby to make matching outfits.

He now has a partner in crime and the kid can charm the pants off of anyone!

Mammon is 100% devoted to this kid and he secretly hopes he’s the favorite parent.

Lives for any second of bonding he can get. NEEDS IT TO LIVE. 100% a sappy dad.

The most supportive dad, always saying nice things because he knows people didn’t always say nice things about him.

Levi

Brain stops working. You almost think you’ve given him a heart attack

Levi feels you take the controller from his hand and instantly has to fill it with something else, taking yours. He looks at you and asks you again if you’re sure.

He can see it in your eyes and he just crows. He doesn’t know if he’s excited or scared but he made the noise.

Worries A LOT about the idea of becoming a father. Can gross otakus be good fathers? How does he dad?

Gets pre-stressed about social interactions. Kids have to go to school and have play-dates and Levi’s going to have to talk to people...ugh! Gross!

Definitely has a few break-downs (feelings of inadequacy, etc.) before Lucifer or Satan comfort him. He’s better than he thinks, just insecure. Everyone learns as they go. They have classes (”They’re like cheat codes, Levi.”) and it makes him feel better

His gaming friends send their congratulations and he gets lots of themed blankets and onesies.

Wants you to have a water birth because the water is his child’s calling. Really attached to the idea.

He’s constantly looking up guides to baby-proofing, double- and triple-checking safety specs of anything before buying it.

Spends HOURS scouring Akuzon, comparing brands, and reading reviews for everything.

Akuzon noticed he was buying lots of baby books and looking at baby-related things so they sent him a onesie.

You get a lovely beach/water-themed maternity shoot and Levi is so love-struck he gets a nosebleed. Once he’s cleaned up it makes a darling photo shoot.  

Has already made lists of anime for the kid to watch. Some are his favorite, some are for the lessons and moments that stuck with him

Asmo messaged TSL on the down-low and Levi got some quality kid-sized merch.

Tries to get you to name the baby Henry if it’s a boy. When he finds out it’s a girl, he pushes for Henrietta.

Reads TSL to the baby and plays ocean sounds.

As you get further along in your pregnancy, he buys a fridge for his room and stocks it with your favorite cold stuff. Any snack foods are just added to his stash.

You are absolutely worshipped. Craving something? Akuzon has it and the fastest pig is on it’s way. Your feet hurt? Try a water bath!

You’re his Player 2 now and forever (always have been), and he’s keeping you in perfect health.

Probably keeps a video journal for the kid or of the two of you during your pregnancy. Big on preserving stuff digitally.

Probably makes a game for his kid just because. They’ll be able to play it when they’re older.

Bought a ton of Magical Girl-style hairbows and things for when their hair grows in. His daughter’s a fucking princess, okay?

Belphegor bought the baby a goldfish onesie and Levi loves it to pieces.

Bought the baby a seashell bassinet and rocks them to sleep with his tail.

Levi has a bad sleep schedule and wakes easily, so he’s usually the first one to get up and handle the baby.

He has this complex about being a good dad. People can call him a weird, gross otaku but they’re ALSO going to mention how good of a dad he is!

Super affectionate with his kid in a quiet, whispering, mumbling way. Just thinks they’re the best thing.

Having a daughter really makes him rethink some of the ways he viewed anime characters and made him super critical. If his daughter ends up liking anime he’ll make it very clear what he thinks and how she shouldn’t let other people treat her like an object. 

His demon form gets triggered REALLY EASILY if his bros hold her for too long. THAT’S HIS BABY, THANK YOU!

Satan

Secretly hoped to be a father one day. Wanted to prove so badly that he could be one, and move past the constant fear of his temper looming over him. He didn’t want wrath to be his only legacy.

Can’t manage more than a genuine smile and a lilting laugh when you tell him, but he’s literally almost sick with joy. He’s just not the type to jump from the rooftops or anything

Asmodeus and Mammon convince him into drinking because he needs to let loose and really show it!

Satan ends up drunk-stumbling to Lucifer and plunking his head into his chest and crying. He’s crying because he’s happy and mumbling something about ‘granddad’. When his tears dry he’s happy as can be, smugly calls Lucifer an ‘old fuck’ and promptly throws up.

They’re past most of their bad blood but even Lucifer wasn’t surprised Satan never got EVERYTHING out of his system. A lot of his childhood memories are tainted with pure wrath instead of coming into his cardinal sin through some other mean. Or naturally, like puberty.

Between his personal research and Lucifer’s expertise, the baby-proofing is totally covered.

His book binges are strictly about pregnancies, suspicions, rituals, parenting, and anything he can think of that has to do with kids.

He’s big on teas and brews that are supposed to help with pregnancies and pains. Uses his many connections to get ingredients for said teas

Reads the classics and big epics to his unborn child.

Buys you some Hellcats for protection. They’re fiercely loyal, so he’ll know you’re safe.

He’d be the type to nag you about your diet, but not to be mean. He’d support it with this absolute WALL of evidence that turns into a lecture that could last for hours.

Has to fight the Hellcats to sit next to you or touch your belly a lot more than he thought he would. He’d never say it out loud, but he’s starting to hate the cats (he doesn’t mean it though).

Starts cleaning up his book piles a lot more. The baby would get hurt if the stacks fell on them. His room becomes virtually spotless.

You pick books to read together. You end up reading Satan to sleep, too. He keeps a hand on your belly.

Gets nervous about you wanting to go out, and basically tries to keep you in the House of Lamentation. Relents a little because hormones make you scary. He was basically afraid of nothing because the walks were fine.

You like to sit in the Devildom gardens and he thinks you look picturesque and wonderful. It takes his breath away.

Asmodeus is your personal photographer because Satan doesn’t think anyone else will do you justice.

Finds out you’re having boy-girl twins and totally shuts down. What does he say? How does he respond? BELPHIE OR BEEL WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE TWINS! WHY HIM?!

Lucifer is BEYOND amused. This is definitely payback for everything Satan did in his childhood (so the saying goes).

It doesn’t bother him as much when he starts buying smart little cardigans, button-ups, ribbons, and bowties. He’s actually quite happy.

The Hellcats act weird and tip him off to your contractions before your water breaks. Satan gets you to the hospital and helps you give birth. The twins grow to look more like him than you, but if someone mistakes you for the nanny or says something derogatory, he’s pulling two ferocious kids off an idiot

Satan was afraid he’d be a short fuse, but he becomes the parent that explains everything to death (for better or worse). The kids will get a lecture when they’re bad, when the ask ‘why’ to something, he’ll explain why he gave the punishment he did, and be very clear with anything.

Asmodeus

Quickly falls in love with the idea of you being pregnant. It’s the best! Proof of his truest love, the thing that makes his heart beat!

He loved you to pieces before you were pregnant, and loves you even more now (if that’s possible).

Always wants to be with you, smothering your belly with kisses and touches and looking at it like it’s the next greatest love of his life

Takes names very seriously. “My child is a gift unto this world. People will know their name, so it has to be a good one!”

Gets really wrapped up in decor and aesthetic. He’d be a one-man force for all of it if you didn’t tell him to stop and breathe! Asmodeus just has lots of ideas, okay?

Has a really hard time understanding the value of baby-proofing until Satan smushes a few of his lipsticks in his hand and knocks around some finishing powder (”Now imagine that. All the time. With anything you love.”). 

Hires someone to baby-proof the room because that’s just not his thing. He’ll handle securing the valuables, okay?

Constantly reading about beauty rituals and things to do for his pregnant wife. She’s doing something really hard and deserves to be pampered!

You’ll constantly be pampered or trying ‘this and that’ because he read it was good for the baby. Good for beauty, good for health, etc.

Has a pretty decent diet, himself, and keeps you on yours.

You definitely have pregnancy sex a few times. Anything he can do to help you out, you know?

Asmodeus ADORES watching you grow round with his child and LIVES for helping you take care of yourself. He’ll let you lounge in his fantastic tub and has no issues sitting on the floor and doing your toes

Picks out all your outfits. Wants you to look your best! Don’t worry, you’ll be comfy!

When he finds out you’re having a girl he cries. A lot.

SO MANY BABY UPDATE BROADCASTS ON DEVILGRAM! There is an official ‘baby watch’. It’s trending more than you thought it would.

Takes TONS of videos.

His baby is easily the most fashionable child in all of Devildom.

Takes really candid, private photos that have a lot of sentimental value. A lot of your pregnancy photos are you looking comfy in bed or sitting at a vanity in breezy clothes as he does your makeup.

The type of dad to sit down in the middle of the store to play with toys (are they good enough for his kid? Like, really?). Must feel everything before he buys it. If he doesn’t like how it feels, he won’t buy it.

You end up giving birth earlier than planned and Asmo almost throws up because birth doesn’t look like he thought it would

Super nervous during your pregnancy because you’re in pain and there’s lots of noises.

Busies himself doing your makeup because that’s the only way he can handle the situation. You’re holding his tail and he SWEARS you’re going to break it off!

The bros help deliver his little angel and Asmo is SMITTEN. ABSOLUTELY SMITTEN.

Holding his baby 24/7.

Loses sleep just because he watches them sleep. Sometimes he loses sleep for real because DAMN, babies don’t sleep a lot, do they?

It’s really hard to adjust to and he’s surprised his skin isn’t god-awful.

Doesn’t regret a thing, fawning over their tiny nails and little curls, and OMG EVERYTHING! Cries a lot because they’re just perfect

His wardrobe reflects his dad status but he still looks like a DILF. You can give him the most classic dad attire and it just looks good on him.

Beelzebub

He’s excited about your pregnancy. Boy honestly tried for it, you know? Studied positions and everything.

Beelzebub has so much love and the idea of holding a tiny someone just warms his heart

Everything kid-related is totally foreign to him except for how to act with them. He and Belphie were the youngest so he was used to being taken care of until he got old enough to climb and eat on his own.

The type of guy to need explicit, step-by-step instructions on EVERYTHING. He doesn’t have a brain for it like Satan or Lucifer, so he needs help

Seriously. Give him a checklist for baby-proofing and he’ll get it done.

Gets pretty down about not being able to cuddle and snuggle like normal, but he’ll look into safe ways to do so.

Has special snuggles with the baby. Kisses your belly and rubs it. Talks to your baby like the little demon it is (even if it doesn’t have a name yet).

Lives for the times you talk to the baby, talk yourself out of bed, or how you absently talk to your belly throughout the day.

Works out to deal with stress and nerves, but also because he wants to be a good, strong dad

The doctors give him a list of exercises you can do and he does them with you

Can’t really take the nutrition advice seriously. He eats pretty much everything and you probably will, too.

When people ask him about your pregnancy, he uses very inclusive language (”We’re expecting, etc.”)

You make mini-dates out of your late-night cravings. Beel is totally in love with it.

Beelzebub becomes your food finder. There’s been times where you look at him so cutely, so imploringly, and all you can manage is ‘spicy and crunchy’. He’ll find you something, don’t worry! He’s an expert!

Big on massages and cuddling. Likes to cup his hands over your belly and trace it.

The type of dad to gain weight with you as your pregnancy moves along. Becomes soft, strong dad.

Finds out you’re having twin boys and has the happiest crying session ever. Belphie is the first to know and all Beel can say is ‘Just like us!’ as he nearly crushes his twin to death.

Likes to dress them in cute and comfy clothes. Animal onesies? Yes!

At some point yours twins are going to look like hotdogs and hamburgers. There’s no shortage of food costumes thanks to Levi, Asmo, and Beel.

Suspicious about baby food, bugs Satan about how nutritious it is, and tries all of it just to be sure.

Some of their teething toys look like real food. Beelzebub ate one on accident.

Is a perfect gentle giant. Afraid of hurting them, for they are tiny and precious, but gets over that pretty quickly.

Always wants to cuddle and hold them. You have to make him leave them alone to sleep. Gets kind of sad when they’re napping because he can’t make faces at them or hear them laugh. Right back to his usual self when they wake up, though.

You best believe they learn their alphabet by studying food. Beelzebub will stand in the kitchen and dig through the pantry until he finds things that match the letters of the alphabet 

Belphegor

He’s kind of surprised you ended up pregnant because the sex is usually lazy and casual. Yes, he has the moments where it’s pretty hardcore, but...wow. For some reason, he just didn’t see you getting pregnant.

Secretly hopes you have more than one kid. Something in him would just be happy if there’s more than one kid. You think it comes from the time he spent alone in the attic but never say it.

Sleeps a lot more. Not out of avoidance or anything, but because naps will be rare in the future. He likes to think he’s stockpiling sleep.

Makes sure you’re comfy at all times.

Would love for you to sleep and be cozy but apparently that’s not healthy for humans, so he takes easy walks around the house and keeps you semi-active.

He’ll give you his cow pillow to use as a back pillow. It’s his way of letting the baby use it until he can share it with them.

Listens to a lot of audiotapes about parenting. Looks at books, too, but does better with audio. 

Reads a new bedtime story to your kid every night.

Sometimes you guys sleep in the star room so he can talk to them about constellations. They can’t see anything, of course, but he still goes into detail.

Isn’t much of a picture person and doesn’t see the point in taking maternity pictures. It’s actually because Belphie has a photographic memory so he remembers everything.

The bros force him into taking maternity pictures.

The type to journal everything. He writes a big-ass, super-detailed diary for the baby.

Is kind of worried about his temperament, so he’ll take some classes on how to handle stress and stuff before the babies arrive

Becomes King of Lists. There’s lists for everything. Lists help. Lists are good.

When he finds out you’re having triplets (a boy and two girls), he doesn’t know how to react. You saw him smile though. It doesn’t sink in until you’re hugging him. “I’m never sleeping again,” he realizes with absolute terror.

Beelzebub is super excited. “That’s twins plus a bonus!”

Very snobby about the nursery decor. Also very tactile like Asmodeus. If it doesn’t feel good, it’s not going in the nursery.

Wants a barn-themed nursery (to include as many cow-related things as possible)

You get the comfiest PJs.

With three kids, he lives by embroidery. He has to have a way to tell them apart, after all (the girls, at least).

Can’t hoard the babies but wants to. Hates that he doesn’t have enough arms to hold them all at the same time.

Is very interested by their tendency to hold each other and nap together. Finds it super adorable.

Makes a super-sized crib he can climb in and sleep with them. It’s basically a Belphie-sized bed with little attachments his kids sleep in. Separates them all just enough so he doesn’t worry about hurting them, but there’s still contact

Thanks whatever god exists that they mostly stay on a schedule together. Makes it stressful for changing diapers, but very fun to feed them.

Almost dies laughing when Lucifer holds them for the first time because one vomited on him, the other sneezed in his face, and one pooped so much it got on his pants leg.

Lulls them to sleep with his happy purr, and gets woken up from a dead sleep by pure love when they make the sound back. Suddenly there’s three chirpy purrs rolling against him and he’s in love.

Proud they love their mama so much (to the point of being TOTAL mama’s kids), but also kind of relieved he can breathe.

The three trade off occasionally when they realize he’s free real estate and come to him for snuggles. They all love him so he doesn’t mind.

This house supports cuddle piles! Belphie got them hooked on group naps for a young age and they sleep together now.

Ok I made a au based on Paul's video's (Shed 17 & Project G-1) were everyone was cured from being biofused and are now humans with the scars from there engine form,This contains spoilers for Paulvids videos and this has extra things that doesn't appear in the videos 👌

Thomas

has stitches all over his body from him being the first to be cured and the fact that he was turned human...ish in project G-1,His one eye is red from him loseing control and attacking Keith and he has basically two personailtys now,His normal personailtys he had when he was a actual human and his savage anger side he showed near the end of that video,Also Thomas has a huge scar on his back from his biofused form in Shed 17 and his scream when in his savage side will be high and load like in shed 17•

Edward & James (there together cause there engines forms were burned together)

They both have burn marks all over there body's from how they were destroyed in here biofused form,James has more scars on his face(Cause his face did melt some in the video) while Edward has some scars on his throat from his whistle broke in shed 17(that people thought he died from),James personality changed some from his normal personality to a more serious,grumpy medium headed one cause he is extremely upset of the fact that him and Edward were basically lied to and we're used for testing•

Henry

He has scars on his back and sides from his crash in shed 17 and has scar marks all over his neck and his lower face from when he was scrapped in shed 17,He is very agressive when someone mentions Sir Topham Hat and can accidentally hurt others around him,Henry personality changed a lot cause he is no longer a shy, soft kind guy but now he is a rough,mean, agressive and a emotionally wreck•

Gordon

Gordon took a long time to be cured due to his body being used to make Project G-1,He has scars around his stomach from his biofused form being crushed from the inside,blurry vision from his eyes getting destroyed and a massive scar on his side from getting hurt by the boulder in his Project G-1 form,He acts similar to normal Gordan but has emotionally break downs and has trouble seeing from his blurry vision•

Marvis

She has burn marks around her mouth from her engine burning in shed 17 and sometimes need eye drops for her eyes,She didn't change much and didn't know what happened to the others cause her biofused body burned up first•

Percy

Percy has scars around his neck and needs to wear a cast around it so his neck doesn't fall to the side,His vision is slightly blurry from his eyes rolling back and when his neck is turned his speech gets muffled.

Percy still is a sweetheart and is very young compare to the other biofused engines (that are now humans again) and hasn't changed much•

Spencer

Like Marvis he has burn marks around his mouth and face from his body being set on fire in project G-1,He didn't change much and still has a small rivalry with Gordon and Scottman man but not as much as in the show•

Duck(Chris is his name in the videos) and Oliver

Duck and Oliver still have mechanical parts to them like wires and robotic arms and scars on there body from fighting in Project G-1,Oliver is nearly blind and needs glasses or contacts desperately due to his vision almost being gone

Duck(Or Chris) feels horrible for hurting his best friend and cry's over it when alone,Oliver forgives Duck,tries to comfort him when he cry's and tells him over and over again that he forgives him and isn't mad•

Harold

He has scars on his back from his wings and is so scared of falling again he started getting a phobia of heights,He did get some burn marks on his body from exploding in shed 17, Honestly he didn't change much•

Donald & Douglas

Nobody knows what happened to Donald..Not even Douglas and Donald covers himself in bandages to cover his scars so we really don't know what happened to him,Meanwhile Douglas skin is very soft and his mouth can extend longer than usual,Douglas's lips also can get stuck together but he can open his mouth full easily,Donald is often quiet and doesn't like showing his scars to anyone cause he doesn't want them to worry and ask him what happened.

Douglas has to eat softer food due to his mouth(He can eat hard food but it takes time) and Donald can only eat in private cause he has to take off the his bandage in order to eat•

Annie and Clarabel

They share the same burn marks from there biofused forms and the fact that one of them is a clone of the other(They lost there connection when they were cured),They act the same as before but they do have flinch when one of them gets hurt thinking that they are still connected.

Diesel(Kevin)

He has some scars around his chest and neck from his sacrifice in Project G-1 and gets some panic attack when stressed,He is very salty when it comes to Sir Topham Hat and is very agressive but he got his wife to calm him down (He is married to Annie in Project G-1 if you didn't know),He is get protective over every cured or being cured biofused and is willing to hurt himself protecting everyone•

Smuger

Smuger can stand upright without losing balance cause of him never moving from one space for years and has a massive scar on his stomach from Project G-1,Smuger is quiet and Is to nervous to ask for help and feels like he is responsible for everybody's pain when he isn't,He also has serious panic attack's randomly when reminded of what happened to him and became very claustrophobic from being trapped in one area for so long•

Cranky

He was one of the most hardest one to obtain the most dna to cure him,He has burn scars allover him from his fall in Project G-1 also having scars around his arm representing his crain breaking also in Project G-1,He has some panic attack's and feels guilty for Smugers Injury's and wants to say sorry but is afraid of bringing Smuger a panic attack(He is the only biofused who knows about Smuger and how he got his scars and panic attacks)•

G-1

G-1 was used to cure everyone and was given a life of it's own afterwards,They act like a bit cat or a big dog(They also have some human intelligence) and are very gentile when you are gentile to them,When experimenting on them they used dolphin training tricks to test there human like behavior side and when they used two pieces of paper with a picture of a gender it picked female so they use She/Her/They pronouns and are able to reproduce offspring without a mate(since they are like a animal and not a human..Idk what I'm doing with this thing XD)•

Diesel 10

Diesel 10 is still in his biofused form and is going around sodor keeping anyone that is trying to take or kill the others out and is willing to attack them if they are not careful,His eyes turn black with red pupils when angered and is very agressive when it comes to protecting anyone but he does have a soft side and is willing to show it when he wants to•

Sir toppem hat

One of the main antagonist of this au and plays a important part of this au I can't spoil just yet cause I might make a comic of this au

Keth

He is the only normal human being that was cured after being killed by Thomas and is now a half Human half cured,He has scars around his lower half and has to have a crutch now,Even after that he still cares for Thomas and the other engines and enjoys visiting them and helping them with there problems,He really hates sir toppem hat but feels like he needs to hold back on his anger cause he doesn't want to end up as some like him,He is also a father figure to Raven,Cassy and Evan(Mostly Raven) and is willing to keep them safe from harm and danger•

She is the main person in this au and the one who gave the idea to cure the engines than to kill them off,She was a young girl who loved seeing the engines but was trapped on Sodor when she was left behind by her neglectful caretaker (she was a orphan who never meet her parents and was raised in a orphanage) and was found by Keth and was taken cared for,Years later when she turned 16 she helped with the cure and was reunited with Keth.

Cassy

She was one of the Biofused engines that didn't get destroyed and doesn't have any physical scars on her,She helped with the cure and was willing to have them use some of her body for the cure,She reunited with her twin brother and loves takeing care of the other engines when in need•

Evan

Evan was used and experimented on with how the engines can't stand sugar and another if he could stand falling from a high drop,The first experiment was putting sugar in is fire box which cause him to keep throwing up randomly for a hour and the second experiment he was pushed off a high rock surface and was badly broken and exploded shortly after.

After he was cured he was given scars around his back and side and some patches of burn marks on his body and he hates sugar now cause of that one experiment,He takes care of the other engines and is good friends with James,Edward,Gordan and Percy.

Now some small facts about my au

The cured biofused have the scars of when they were engines and how they were destroyed or killed and they have memory's of when it happened and most of them either try to forget it or ignore it and keep moving on

There heights are a little taller than normal humans and they have louder screams and whistles

Sodor has been fixed and is a sanctuary for the cured engines and is home for some humans that are helping them/takeing care of them

The humans that were killed by Project G-1 or another engine were also cured and have there own medical bay separate from the cured biofused

The stuff to make biofused engine are still there but noone knows we're it is like somebody or something took it

The cured biofused are almost impossible to kill and have massive healing cells from the cure

They are much stronger than normal humans cause of here biofused body's but can control it so they don't hurt others

Analysis and thoughts on Lucifer Season 5B

Since Season 6 is coming, and I want to analise that trailer but I still hadn't said a word about the previous thing, I thought it was time to catch up.

Warning: Controversial opinion. Keep reading at your own risk.

Let's get started.

First things first, the premise on the 5B season was: Michael brought things to a breaking point that lead to God to appear on Earth. The first thing I thought was, wait WHAT? But you didn't move a finger when Uriel died!

But that was something that I already had in mind when the 5B started. And then the chapters went on, and things added, and I was shocked in good ways, but also the bad way in too many things.

There are tons of things that came to mind while watching the whole thing, but I think if I explain them all this will be too long. Let's go to the main points:

1. God.

For a starter, his personality. Ok, I know is basically common knowledge that he went chill after all the Jesus thing, so a calm personality is not a surprise, to be honest.

But this is not the answer we should get after all the build-up we had on all the series. What did we know about how he was all allong the series before he appeared?

He's a manipulative person, for all that treating like pawns his own children thing.... and also everybody. All for his great plan, whatever it is (maybe is just like a Sims-like thing, he wants the bigger picture to be in a way and made all those things for turning the outcome into what he wanted?). Also, than means megalomania.

Lucifer described that when he gets angry, greatly bad things follow, like poking a colossal dragon. We saw that with the mentioned temper of the Old Testament, and the Fall of Lucifer (being expulsed from Heaven and all that), how he imprisioned his wife in FREAKING HELL and Cain's Curse. So, it's stablished that in this series, God has a temper, big time, but it also seemed he went more chill after centuries.

So, what did I expected from that description?

I expected something with the personality in between these two up there and with a hidden temper that goes like when Galadriel does her creepy thing. What I mean, is that both Kyubey from Madoka Magica and Jerry from Soul are inmortal beings and powerful, who care only about the big picture. Jerry has more experience in working with people, and has this chill actitude of caretaker, something that I kind of expected to see in God, and Kyubey in the end, only cares about its goal, and actually gives a shit about people's feelings and does things to them that serve to the purpose and think it's damn fine because by its balls it has to be right, something that I expected to see in God as well.

And did we got instead?

Well.......

Yes, he gave a feeling of being inmortal for all his knowledge and there was this how he doesn't actually gives a pose of authority since he's God and he doesn't have to prove anything to anybody.

But he didn't have any imposing aura, wasn't scary at all, and I still can't get through how he doesn't know how to spot the simptoms of brain freeze and how he got into trouble half of the time. Shouldn't he know better than spill that his son is working for the police when going undercover?

But this is not the answer to all the build-up you gave us, series creators!

And what's with his relationship between Lucifer and his father? That seems odd as well.

Lucifer is supposed to be the son that goes against everything he wants, that has disobeyed him all the time, and insobordinates constantly. I take that he might have a different oppinion of his son now, and that would have been great if they had made the character mention how he has changed his mind over his son and why!

Instead, he just goes like nothing ever happened and expected everyone to go along with it. Also, stalks Lucifer and goes into his life doing the annoying father thing.

What's more, Lucifer had to take care of his father half of the time. And that usually doesn't happen when your parent is inmortal, and even if God made himself a human, where did all his experience go?

By the way, Lucifer's reaction to this is spot on, but spot on with the character that we got in the end. I would have expected that Lucifer was terrifyed about what would his dad doing on Earth, and how could that affect all the people he cares about, but since this God is what we got, Lucifer reacted that way.

And then there is the thing about his retirement. Where did that even come from?

His power has been going crazy? Ok, but that has come only on the recent time. There is no evidence that supports a decision to retire just like that. Make changes? Ok. Retire? WTF.

And not just that, he just leaves to Goddess' universe and makes the kids solve by themselves how would that turn out.

And don't get me started about how a divorced couple made up just like that. Didn't he vanished her and put her into a cell? Why was she so chill?

Which leads to the next point.

2. Amenadiel and why did he not take the throne.

Ok, so Amenadiel wanted to focus into being a father and don't want to leave his life on Earth. That's ok.

But as far as we knew, Lucifer was pretty much the same, right?

Not to mention they still had a problem. A problem called Michael.

He was elegible to be God's sucessor, and if he got that power, he would turn Lucifer's and everyone close to him lifes into a living hell, which could include Amenadiel and his new family easily.

They should had have that in mind, and should have in mind the determintation to avoid it AT ALL COSTS.

So, what to do? If Amenadiel had that much support from the other angels on the very beggining, then he had to take the chance!

They both have grown with Michael, and I thought Amenadiel watched Game of Thrones, so they should have known better than to give him a chance to ruin their lives for eternity.

Yes, Lucifer has traits that make him a good pick for being God, and he does have experience with the reignant profession, but they couldn't afford to lose an election!

3. New angels

First, good call to the part that they answered the question of what happened to the other angels that supported Lucifer back in the day. I really wanted to know where they were. My headcanons where crushed, but hey, at least they gave us a explanation.

I really liked Zadquiel. He might be pretty judmental but he was in the end a great guy when he saw Lucifer's change of heart, and he had more guts than most of the other angels, and honorable. I respect honor.

Remiel's redemption! I first found her scary, given the way she handled how Amenadiel changed and he had a son. But mostly because she showed no remorse to her first plan to kill Linda and then steal the baby. But she had absolutely clear Michael is not to trust, so she backed Lucifer. Respect..... which made very sad her demise... Explain again to me why the other angels show so little response to that.

But I'm kind of upset of how the other angels were to support Michael. Is like they don't know their own lying-brother and how he's not to be trusted. They were really that suspicious of Lucifer, or was it that Michael is that scary? Or are they that susceptible to Michael's lies?

Seriously, wtf...

Appart from that, I think most of what they showed on this season was spot on. Deeply emotional, too.
