Would teach your dog all kinds of tricks - honestly helps you out a lot!

Would be annoying and give you unsolicited advice about your dog's diet and training (which you shut him up with a kiss)

Leon doesn't mind dogs, but he prefers cats more.

So when Leon visits you, he isn't used to the shower of affection your dog gives.

If your dog were to not get along with him, Leon would put his hands up to show he doesn't mean harm.

Eventually earning your dog's mercy after playing fetch with them!

It's a little tiring for Leon, who is only used to the company of cats.

But he knows your dog is your family and wants to make sure he gets along with them.

Okay so I feel like there's a good chance RE4 Leon would adopt that sweet wolf he finds during the game, making sure he heals up after their big fight together! Things that happen in my FOD au that just make sense

They hold events for charity. They hold it in a big arena on a stage, like for concerts, they talk, answer questions, play games and do challenges and all funds from the ticket sales goto charity.

They do fanmeets monthly and multiple when it comes to ppv. Some wrestlers do free ones on the street for those who can't afford to come.

Hunter purposely brings in cute photoshoots to torture souls like Randy and Leon. (They end up selling the most because it's so out of character)

After the arena got built in death valley, they hold a week of wrestling there every year, mainly around Halloween and Leon's birthday (which is halloween). Its a special week where raw, nxt, smackdown and a ppv is held there. Only people who live in the valley are allowed to attend, outsiders much watch at home, tickets end up being a lot cheaper and for certain people (in which taker knows their situation) end up with free tickets. It ends up being their most watched week as all rules are out the window and they do it death valley style. It also gives outsiders a view into the secretive death valley.

Wrestlers, especially the younger ones and newer ones, have the option to live in dorms near the performance centre. Shawn introduced it as he remembers the struggle him and John went through when he was starting off. It includes shopping and rent along with child care for those like Shawn. And as the wrestlers get older and start earning more money they start contributing to the house funds. Leon stays here a lot when him and Drew break off because he refuses to have drew leave their home. Its especially useful for those stars who move from other countries to work in the wwe. Even none wwe stars are allowed to live there but they are expected to start contributing when they get stable enough. No one is expected to leave if they don't want to, as shawn understands not everyone can live on their own.

Leon hosts cooking classes in the dorms for his useless coworkers. It ends with him just meal prepping for them.

Cassie holds running groups and John helps train rookies.

Like Hau bought a Malasada for himself but Decidueye keeps bothering him for some, and Hau is refusing to give him a piece cause, he’s a big bird, a piece isn’t big enough and Hau wants some for himself. So Decidueye does the only logical thing, and spirit shackles Hau to the his chair and walks away with the half eaten Malasada

Even Diantha and Gardevoir being pissed at each other all day for some reason. So when Diantha finally got home from a long day at the Kalos League, Gardevoir gets out her pokeball and just fucking, teleports both her and Diantha back to the League and then teleports herself back home. Leaving Diantha alone

Or imagine if Cynthia is letting her Pokémon run around in the snow and when it’s time to go home they all go into their pokeballs except for Lucario. And like the dog Pokémon it is, starts barking and runs off further in the distance. Completely ignoring Cynthia and making her chase him through the snow

Steven may be rich and definitely bought everything his Pokémon could need and more. But imagine how many bed frames Steven had to buy in his lifetime cause Metagross, despite having a custom made bed made for his size, decided Stevens bed was the best one to sleep on. Bro never moves despite how much Steven pleads with him

And I know for a fact Iris’ Lapras had used sing on her to put her to sleep, so she and the rest of Iris’ Pokémon could raid the snack cupboard. Girly really just told the other Pokémon to leave the room, put Iris to sleep, and then called them back in. Druddigon at least had the decency to carry Iris to her bed

Ash meets the legendary dogs ahead of knowing they are legendary dogs. He gets lost in the forests of Galar but is smart enough this time to call Raihan who is like “ok babe it’s foggy make a fire and stay put. I’ll do loops on Flygon until I spot you.”

Ash ends up playing ball with his Pokémon (yes, he got the Leon face ball), and, well, doggoes love balls. I mean he’s attracting other wild Pokémon with food and play so he just assumes they’re big babies (which…. They are).

When darkest days happen and “spot” and “pupper” show up, Ash is just like “oh! Puppies!” Immediately after they rush Ash for belly rubs and everyone is freaking the flip out.

I can manage a few more😁

First off, go HERE, to find a headcanon for how they act when Gwen goes into labour with their first kiddy. I fully intend to write this scenario into a full, fluffy fic one day. But yeah. They’re super excitable and everyone is super in awe of how chilled out they are considering Gwen is on her merry way to push a whole mini person out of her coochie (Gwaine was subsequently set on fire for wording it like that). They’re going to be SUCH good parents and everyone knows it.

Both of them, though Gwen starts first, when she’s pregnant, find themselves using their parent voice on their friends, but the thing is, it genuinely tends to work more often than not. The others find this very horrifying and also rather annoying (and hilarious when it’s someone else). When kiddy is older, and speaking and learning, Merlin, exhausted and in an odd headspace, has (on several occasions) said things like “Say hello to the duck, Elyan” (on a patrol) and “No touching, Leon, only looking” (when they went exploring the market together) and “Inside voices, Gwaine” (when he was laughing at a joke in a tavern). He will also, when he’s REALLY exhausted, try to get Arthur into bed at like... the medieval equivalent of 6pm. Because The King is a child, who can’t be up past his bedtime. He also took to cutting Arthur’s food up really small before he served it for a while, until Arthur pointed it out. It was genuinely just muscle memory, and Merlin was pretty embarrassed lol.

Elyan, obviously, gets used to the parent voice the quickest. Leon however... he never stops struggling. He blue-screens for a solid ten seconds every time it happens.

Jumping back again, once they get together, every gift they get someone else is exactly what the receiver needs in the moment, even if they hadn't previously realised it. No one will say it out loud it fear of hurting someone else's feelings, but everyone looks forward to whatever Mergwen gets them for Yule/Birthdays the most.

If they don't want to be found?? They won't be found. Of everyone in the castle, they're the ones that know the most about the secret tunnels and hidden rooms and gaps between walls. They can get anywhere unseen, and it also means they can just hangout uninterrupted any time they want.

They have pets after they move in together. Probably just half feral/outside cats at first, because they both work, but they get big ol' doggos later down the line.

On one memorable occasion, Gwen fully slaps Arthur in the face for making a slightly off colour joke about Merlin. Merlin was already tired and annoyed, so Gwen could see he was slightly more upset about it than normal, and Gwen was also tired and tetchy, due to having been up all night waiting for Merlin to come home from fighting the week's villain. She's utterly mortified after she finishes shouting at him for underappreciating Merlin, and just being plain cruel to him sometimes, but everyone else thinks it’s hilarious, and Arthur gives Merlin the meekest, but most sincere apology that has ever exited his mouth, before scurrying off, embarrassed.

On a similar line, Merlin has intimidated his fair share of arseholes in taverns and bars who wouldn't leave Gwen alone.

Gwen painstakingly and patiently teaches Merlin how to braid hair, and he becomes a master at it. They braid flowers into each others hair, and Merlin grows his out a little longer because of this.

On a slightly darker note, Merlin teaches Gwen how to properly clean and sew wounds, how to deal with blood loss, with concussion, with loss of consciousness. Once he becomes more comfortable with the idea of going to Gwen’s house, instead of Gaius (as a matter of practicality, OR avoiding a lecture), she utilises these skills regularly and impressively.

The Druids all call her My Lady and bow to her and give her flower crowns and cloaks and stuff upon first meeting her. She is baffled, and embarrassed, and hates it, but Merlin refuses to ask them to stop because she is a queen in his eyes. Merlin is, oddly enough, happy to take his place as King/Lord of the Druids, if it means Gwen also gets treated like royalty by the people he adores so much.

They don’t really do pet-names, probably just a casual “love” from Merlin, and “Merls” from Gwen. Maybe the odd “sweetheart” is thrown in the mix here and there.

August will probably have a black cat instead of a dog. I don't think he dislikes dogs, but he doesn't strike me as a dog person. August is a man who needs a good trust and respect build-up, just like cats. People who don't know cats very well think that cats are unpredictable but that's not true. It's all about trust, consent and boundaries for kitties which I think is very much aligned with August's personality.

Clark will definitely get a Golden Retriever or a Labrador. They are considered as very loyal and friendly family dogs.

Walter will get a pitbull, big, sturdy and misunderstood doggos who a lot of people fear but Walter will give his doggo all the love and affection.

(I know canon Sherlock has Tobi but...) Sherlock is also someone I don't see with a dog. I think that the over-affectionate and ecstatic nature of a dog is not for him and that he would rather have a big smart tabby kitty who will help him solve crimes.

For Mike - For some reason I see him with something tiny and fluffy and completely unpredictable, like a Maltese or a Yorki

Leon will definitely adopt a mutty stray. I know he worked his way to the top but after all he is the son of a janitor, he didn't come from nothing and his persona was neatly picked but he still has the wisdom of a street dog.

Original dog anon here, I absolutely love everyone’s ideas on what kind of dog Leon would have. And I have another silly dynamic idea to add. This time he has two dogs, a lil chihuahua and a BIG German shepherd Husky Mix.

But, the chihuahua is the fiercest little guy who’s under the impression he’s a pit bull and the Shep-Husky mix is the sweetest boy who’s under the impression that he’s a lot smaller than he really is. And despite the size and demeanor difference these two are stuck together like glue, probably a bonded pair. I could see Leon finding them strolling down the street, and it’s just this little dog and his massive friend.

I could see both little guy and big guy trying to fit in the couch with Leon and Leon giving them the love they deserve.

This one is really self-indulgent, cause it features an Oc, but I feel like Hop would have made a crochet beanie for Naomi at some point.

Last one about crochet: I want Bede and Hop to become friends, and besides sitting down and talking to each other, Hop teaches Bede how to crochet ( Opal probably taught him how to knit tho).

Neither of them will admit it out loud but they did enjoy they're time together.

the story

Sal Leon came from a big family, with sisters on either side and a slew of cousins, aunts, and uncles. Most of them came from military backgrounds or worked in law enforcement in some manner. This meant that in many ways, the Leon family was above the law... because essentially, they were the law. Uncle Javier was in charge of the police force, and he made sure that every member of the family always had a place working for the boys in blue. This even included Sal’s own Dad, Esteban, a crooked cop who probably would’ve never made the cut if Javier hadn’t pulled some strings.

The Leons’ also had a particular mentality, one that demanded that family always be put first. Nothing could come before blood: not love, not work, not money. Nothing. A Leon never turned their back on family and they always had each other’s back no matter what. Now, in most cases, this sort of ideology would be a good thing, but not always. Sure, through out his life, it’s been this unwavering loyalty that’s helped Sal stay out of jail... but it’s also this mentality that kept his Dad free and clear and allowed Sal to withstand countless abuses. 

See, the Leon family was great, but Esteban was nothing short of a monster. He drank, he cheated, he gambled, he took bribes, he killed people, and to top it all off, he hated his son. Esteban always had it out for Sal and he’d always find some reason to antagonize him. If Sal forgot to do the dishes, or stayed up too late watching TV, or just didn’t do well on a test, Esteban would light into him. Sometimes it would be with words, sometimes it would be with his fists or his belt. Really, it all just depended on Esteban’s mood.

Normally, in a situation like Sal’s, something would’ve happened and someone would’ve helped him. This is where that family first mentality really bit Sal in the ass though. See, every time the abuse was reported, someone in the family made it go away.

His home life really took a toll on Sal and it showed. His grades sucked, he was always in trouble, and he got kicked out of more than one school for fighting. Really, Sal was just a mess.

More concerned members of his extended family did their best to step in and protect him, but it was never enough. He’d go to their houses and stay there, sometimes just for dinner, sometimes for weeks at a time. Eventually he’d always have to go home, though.

His Uncle Javier got him involved with martial arts and boxing when he was thirteen. It was supposed to be something to help him handle his situation: a way to teach him to defend himself form his Dad and to let out his rage. Surprisingly, it was actually a pretty helpful outlet, and to this day, it’s the only talent he really has.

Despite everyone’s best efforts, Sal never really learned to walk the straight and narrow. By the time he hit highschool, he was doing drugs, drinking, dealing, and stealing anything worth pawning. He went to juvie a few times because of it but it was never anything serious. The family always made sure he never served any real time. 

Adulthood hasn’t been much better than adolescence for Sal. He couldn’t handle college, he had zero desire to join the force, and his skills and personality didn’t lend themselves to many fields. Plus, he was usually way too fucked up to do anything productive.

Thankfully, Sal had friends in low places and they’d give him a call anytime they needed an extra pair of hands. Car theft, assault robbery - Sal was available for almost anything as long as it payed.

There’s been a few brief periods where Sal has tried to get his shit together. The last one was a few years back. He had a lot going for him at the time: he was clean, he had a girlfriend that wasn’t a total mess, and he even was working as a trainer over at Takedown. Give me your fictional family history for Shawn and the Undertaker.

So I did do a single dad au for shawn in which he was a teen dad that ended up with John after the mothers parents bascially said she has more of a future than you so you have to have the kid. Then obviously taker and shawn meet in the wwe and Leon and cassie come along. In that au there would be a 18 year gap between Leon and John. As Leon is born in 2000, cassie 2005 and John 1982. So yeah, it is a big age gap but taker and shawn only get serious after shawn gets clean and well Leon comes along.

But obviously I'm down to hear your idea because in literally any other au I have never thought about how John fits in at all.

My thoughts on the story of SWSH

I word vomited all of this on twitter but I thought I should compile the thread and post it here since a lot of my mutuals there liked it

While SWSH didn't have a huge evil organization presence of the the previous games, I really liked how the games were designed to actually integrate the Gym Challenge into the story because there's so much more going on then just, OK let's just breeze through all these gyms.

If you pay attention to some of the key features and elements that build the culture and world of the Galar region, the thing tying everything together that makes the Gym Challenge a spectacle, is the power of Dynamax and Power Spots.

The Gym Challenge as an event is a huge event that the whole region looks forward to, thus it playing a big role in making the region thrive economically through tourism and all that. Think of it like the Olympics but on a smaller scale.

Something that gets made clear pretty early on is how there's still not a lot know about Dynamax, how sustainable it is, how powerful it really is, the origins of it,  etc and Chairman Rose, who is in charge of the League, is worried about how far that power can last.

If the power of Dynamax were to somehow run out, what would Galar be known for then? What would be that special thing that gets people to visit Galar or replace people's past time?

So the point of the story of SWSH is exploring that by giving the player hands on experience and knowledge of how important the Gym Challenge is from a personal character stand point, but culturally as well.

By having the person in charge of the League take drastic measures for the sake of the future, it's a refreshing change to have a seemingly normal Chairman be basically the misunderstood villain. Call it anti-climatic if you want but these kinds of villains feel more human to me.

The closest example that I can recall is Team Plasma but even then their intentions felt a lot more selfish than what Rose was trying to accomplish.

And honestly, I love the fact that Leon, Sonia, and all the older characters were the ones to take the initiative to deal with the issues that came up because they've been there before and knowing how important it was, they didn't want anything to get in their way

But even then, the part at the end where the player and Hop retrieve the rusted sword and shield to summon the doggos was a great moment because it kind of showed how, even tho Leon felt like he had to carry the region on his shoulders, others are capable of sharing that burden

Rose, and even Leon, were characters that wanted to do all they can for the sake of their home, but the problem was that they thought they had to take matters into their own hands instead of collaborating with the region as a whole.

The player character and Hop being the ones to save the region, it gave me a sense of how the older generation should rely on the younger generation more because they have the power to make change and are the ones who are going to drive the future forward. 

TL;DR Maybe I’m reading too deep into it but I think the story of SWSH isn’t as bad as some people make it out to be
