Importance of LED Lighting In Pompano Beach And Fort Lauderdale, FL
Lighting is an essential part of life across the USA. From shopping centers to multi-family apartments and entertainment centers, no area can operate safely without appropriate lights. It is tough to select from the enormous variety of bulbs and other lighting sources. Almost all users agree about the efficacy of LED lighting in Pompano Beach and Fort Lauderdale, FL. These lights are extremely popular for a variety of reasons. Most users are satisfied with the brightness and low energy costs, along with a host of other pluses that include the following:-
1. Sustainable- The LED bulbs are durable, efficient, and compatible with solar panels, they do not leave ugly carbon footprints on the atmosphere. Using such lights can help both individuals and organizations to meet sustainable goals. LED lights can also help to comply with state and federal regulatory standards. They also use less energy to shine brightly, thus ensuring value for money.
2. Ensures User Well-being—LED lights are bright and may mimic natural daylight when installed in dingy, dark areas. Research studies have revealed that such lights have a positive impact on physical and mental health. People viewing things with the aid of LED lights are sure to get rid of stress, depression, and anxiety. The brightness of the lights helps to thwart workplace injuries as well. The directional lights improve the completion of tasks without resulting in eye strain.
3. Durability—The LED lights are built to be durable. They are manufactured out of sturdy components that are incredibly hardy and rugged. They are capable of withstanding all kinds of rough conditions. The lights are, therefore, resistant to shocks, vibrations, and hard impacts. LED lighting can be the best form of lighting during inclement weather, such as rain, storms, or snow.
4. Zero UV Emissions- LED illuminated products produce minimum infrared and no UV emissions. This quality makes the lights suitable for illuminating products that are sensitive to light and run the risk of disintegrating under intense light. Artifacts displayed in museums and galleries are UV-sensitive and must be illuminated with backlights, preferably LED bulbs.
5. Operational in Varied Temperatures—LED lights can be used indoors and outdoors regardless of the temperature. While fluorescent lights may not work properly in low temperatures, LED lights can be used during the winter and in freezing conditions without affecting the quality of illumination.
6. Instant Use—The LED lights become bright the moment they are switched on. This quality can be helpful when the lighting is used for infrastructure or powering traffic lights on the streets. Their life expectancy does not alter when the LED lights are frequently switched on and off, either. This makes the LED lights well-attuned for every purpose without exceptions.
While LED lighting in Pompano Beach and Fort Lauderdale, FL, is suitable for all occasions and every need, it is important to source the right lights by checking the Lumens rating, which indicates brightness.

The Benefit of Having a New Garage Door
Garage doors have come a long way from the simple, utilitarian doors of the past. Not a long time ago, drivers had to step out of their vehicles to close or open their garage doors. This was a real hassle, especially for people living in cramped, smaller spaces. Luckily, improvement in technology has led to numerous changes in their design. Today, there are dozens of different varieties available to choose from and these modern styles are far more convenient to install and use than ever before.
The most popular types of modern garage doors today include roller, sectional, up and over doors and swing hung roll up. Each of these different kinds has their own characteristics as well as advantages and disadvantages. You may choose one type of garage door or another depending on your needs and preference.
Roller garage doors are best suited for smaller garages or in houses with little space. It's also a excellent choice if the alleyway leading from your garage is confined or you want to use the space for another purpose. This type of garage door simply rolls into a cassette installed above the entrance. The roller-type door is also remote controlled for your comfort. This are often made from narrow strips of light metal, such as aluminum.
Tumblr media
Meanwhile, overhead garage doors are suitable for garages with bigger spaces. This type of door is also called up and over because it is made of one piece and swing up to open. Because of this, you will need space to open and close this. Sectional type are similar to roller type but have bigger sections. This type of garage door can be made of various materials such as composite materials, metal (usually aluminum), or PVC. Sectional garage doors can also accommodate windows.
On the other hand, swing hung doors are the classic type of garage gate. This type of garage door can be very stylish and elegant but they are suitable for bigger spaces because they need space around them. Installing a swing-hung door is absolutely worth considering because this type of door is not only elegant but also quite durable, lasting for many years if your garage has ample space.
These days automatic prefab garage doors are fast becoming a popular trend. That's because this type can look elegant and stylish but are still relatively less expensive than other types of garage doors. Moreover, an automatic prefab garage door is very easy to use and have security features and other options. The automatic prefab garage door comes with a rolling system: the door is simply rolled up and stored in a case along the roof of the garage, similar to a roller garage door. This type work quietly and smoothly. It is also quite easy to install, you can even do it yourself. This makes it a convenient and affordable choice.

Four Months Sober...Let’s Talk About That:
So, to start out I would like to further celebrate the announcement that I am (as of Saturday) four months sober, and with this particular accomplishment comes two very prevalent ideals that I must take into account for. One, being that although this milestone is much welcomed for my own self confidence and esteem, four months doesn't mean that I'm anywhere close to understanding my addiction and its root, as for those, I'm just getting started; and two, as the aforementioned states, this is only the beginning of something far greater than I could possibly begin to comprehend. It is because of that very fact that we're going to talk about where my fears for personal sobriety stand to this day, four months after I landed my feet onto that cold and silent first floor of the Fort Lauderdale Airport at two a.m.
About a week ago on a lazy Sunday afternoon I got a call from a company I had inquired previously for job as a line cook. Now, I'd like to preface this part of the entry as to let the reader understand that just four months prior to this phone call, I had promised myself that I would never absolutely never work as a line or fry cook ever again in neither this life or the next. Sorry God, but at that moment in my life I was too good to even consider making coconut cream pie beyond the Pearly Gates. Be that as it may, both the reader and the Powers That Be may be a little happy to know that when I was sitting on my pretty little hind end wishing for anything to get me up and moving, be it scrubbing toilets or sharpening craigslist serial killers’ knives, I didn't care one bit whatever job came my way. I just wanted to work, it didn't matter anymore. Sitting around and taking my sweet time on everything just wasn't going to cut it as I consistently and routinely prepared to move on to the next chapter in my life.
When I got the call I had just returned from the Pompano City Beach and was in the process of getting wet clothes washed and dry clothes on when I saw a faint light pulsing from the top of the dresser in my room. When I first saw the number my first reaction was, "great, probably another bill collector, story of my life, rise up against capitalism #420 everyday but not really cus I'm sober now ain't gotta live like that no more," but when I answered the call I hear a deep voice with an Italian accent ask, "you find a job yet, kid?" I was a little thrown at the question as I had completely forgotten that I even applied to the restaurant calling, so when I attempted a reply, it just came out as, "I, uh, n-no sir. Nope, no I have not, nope," and amidst my poorly executed attempt at some slight sense of professionalism I received a, "come in at five o' clock today, we'll get you started." At this point I was nearly jumping in excitement as I rushed to my laundry basket to pick out some clothes that looked close enough to decent and interview-worthy to put on.
Shortly after my arrival it was quickly apparent that they weren't even really looking for anything remotely similar to an interview. The owner's wife just stared at me with these gargantuan, dead-on-her-feet eyes that were practically screaming for help as the owner was monotonously instructing me on my duties for my first abrupt day of training. The owner's wife, we'll call her Pam, walked me to the back of the kitchen to show me the recipe book and how to make things like lasagna bolognese (which I kept pronouncing “bologna”) and shrimp scampi. It was around this time that I had caught on to the fact that these people had just lost about ninety percent of their employees due to issues with using particular narcotics and drinking on property; so as soon as that became apparent I knew God was throwing this job at me as a test. I took a look around the kitchen at the cooking materials, which about thirty percent of the menu contains vodka sauce and marsala, both of which ingredients were just two big half-gallon sized jugs of vodka and wine next to the stove top and spices. I noticed that although I had no desire to go near any of these substances, my eyes couldn't seem to help but get caught on them just by being there. As Pam showed me how to make the chicken marsala I had to open the bottle of wine and set it in the pan to light aflame and reduce to a sauce for the recipe at hand, and I thank God to this moment that something so challenging for an alcoholic such as myself that none of this bothered me for even a second.
Let me just pause for a moment to make the obvious disclaimer to the reader that although my desires and wants for alcohol is at an all-time zero in the negatives, this does not mean that I'm "cured," regardless of what the Passages Malibu commercial may entail in regards that an addict can just "not be an addict" after a few short months. If I sat here and typed down that I thought I had it all figured out at this point I wouldn't only be lying to you as the reader, but I would be lying even more so to myself. The term "cured" does not come with the package of Alcoholics Anonymous or rehab, I'm fully aware for my own understanding that I will never "not be" an alcoholic, and because of that I realize that things like alcohol are going to be everywhere, so to make the conscious effort to avoid and pretend it isn't their would just be ridiculous.
Putting the obvious aside I would like to continue by saying that working with and around the very poison that led me to where I am today allows for a very challenging work experience where I get to notice my demons in the corner, sure, but I also get the chance to laugh back at them as they gnash their teeth and claws in their attempts to pressure me to return to my previous deviation from a past unwelcome to my present mindset. Anytime I see things like this I remind myself where it got me, and the end result that plays in the back of my head is never, nor will it ever, show to be a good conclusion with the choice of such a destructive path. Shortly after the night came to an end, Pam then sends me on my way home for the day as my training for day one is officially complete. When I return to the IOP house down the road from work I am welcomed by the third shift clinical technicians and a breathalyzer accompanied by a Urinary Analysis cup to boot. The feeling I get when I breathe a zero in the machine and clear lines across the testing cup is bittersweet. The realization that I have the courage to stand up against my own personal darkness is a good one, but when I remind myself it was only day one I had to take a step back to humble my own self acclaiming attitude.
I'm now on week two of working at this restaurant and to this day and moment I have no urges or desires to return to the life I once lived. Fear is an everyday mountain to climb in early recovery, but I had to make the clear realization that just because I'm changing for the better of myself, that doesn't mean the world is going to change around me. These are things I'm going to have to face everyday, and for now it's good practice for the world waiting for me back home. In my personal opinion? It's better to face these demons now to prepare for the war inside me that grows stronger everyday. If you run from the enemies surrounding you, you'll never truly know how to beat them when the time comes.
                                     Until next time,
                                            Stephen AlAnon
