Y'all know that meme that's like "just when you think you can't get any lower you wanna fuck a blond guy" that's how the live action sanji got me feeling. He's got me giggling and kicking my feet like a little school girl. Literally doodling our initials in little hearts in my dairy. He popped on screen and smiled. That's all it took for me to be suddenly knawing at the bars on my enclosure. If this sanji was real, it would take a swat team to get me off of him. The LA Sanji is way different from the anime Sanji. I'm obsessed with how they handled him. I'm so shocked at myself. But he's soooo fine. Omg. Serious brain rot over him. I never wanted him in the anime. Zoro was my main. Now I want the flirty blonde to [censored] [censored] [censored] until I [censored]. I can't believe I'm now a sanji girl 🥺

Just a thought, but maybe the reason why Sanji hates oregano is because he has that genetic predisposition that makes it taste like soap??

I know it's mostly for cilantro but I've heard people say the same thing about oregano too.

I have no evidence and I'm LAOP only right now, but I'm totally convinced that Sanji would loathe Shanks, he would not be able to fucking stand him and his bastard man energy.

Shanks and his crew have probably drunk the Baratie dry of booze to the point where Zeff has a sign about it, so he's just heard of the horrors of "This Red-Haired bitch-" While growing up. All the broken chairs and bottles.

So technically I’m OPLA only because it was basically my introduction to the story (other than fandom osmosis) and I’ve barely started reading the manga.

BUT if there’s two things that you need to know about me is 1) I usually don’t care about spoilers, especially for long running series 2) when the the hyperfixation kicks in, I go on a full deep dive for weeks in the tumblr tags and in the wiki.

So basically, I know about Ace and the Sanji x Ace ship, specifically because I love Sanji and went through a deep dive in the Sanji tag and now I’m aware of almost all the Sanji ships. And I must say that Ace x Sanji is definitely one of my favorite so far

I don’t know a whole lot about him yet (although I got spoiled about what happens to him) but he has huge himbo energy and it’s absolutely hilarious to pair him with Sanji, the supreme malewife. I also really love the idea of Ace being his bisexual awakening because when a hot guy walks around your ship with his tiddies out and lights your cigarette with his sexy fire power, it will definitely make you reconsider your preferences.

Basically, Ace x Sanji is a 10/10 ship in my book and I’m very excited to see more of them in the future 👌

Would anyone be able to write a co-op or rival imagine/fanfic involving laOP Sanji and tbosas Coriolanus Snow??

It would be so interesting to see the contrast of those characters either somehow miraculously blending into each other to create the oddest but most powerful 'opposites attract' pairing or build an equally as powerful and terrifying enemy plot line against them.

Platonic or not, pairing, rivalry, pairing x oc, rivalry x oc, dark/yandere, etc. ....... Whatever the trope-- y'all gotta admit it's an interesting choice of characters to try and forge into one world.

I'm gonna be completely honest and say that IGN was pretty on-point when it gave Live-Action One Piece that 6/10.

Luffy's actor at times felt like he was reading his lines off a card, and it feels like his, Zoro's, and Usopp's actors are all doing their own things, and don't ever feel like they're on the same wavelength as anybody else. Sanji and Nami's actors were the only ones of the main cast who felt like grounded characters to me.

Another issue I feel the show has, is that in how rapidly it compresses the first 90 or so chapters of the manga, it doesn't quite hit the mark on the original's carefully constructed emotional crescendos. What's the point of Ussop vs Shu of he doesn't try to lie his way out of a fight before realizing he needs to actually step up? The scene exists for that moment.

I get that it's an adaptaion and some things will get changed or cut (especially considering OP's length), but the show didn't even keep Koby standing up to Alvida, which is what earned Luffy’s respect for Koby in the first place.

The show also changes a lot of things from the manga/anime that... didn't really need any changing? Nami's original backstory was perfect and there really wasn't any need to change any of it (except maybe the 'selling her body' part).

I'm glad One Piece is reaching a broader audience, and the show is very solid; but I feel a lot of the praise people have for it comes less from the show's own merit, and moreso from how low everyone's expectations for it were.

I remember the first trailer coming out and loads of people were knocking on it. But then it finally dropped and you could feel the passion the people working on it put into it. So I think a lot of people are overcompensating a bit and don't want to be too critical of the show.

This is fine, but I hope the LAOP crew realizes that this only works for one season though. I feel Season 2 will get a lot harsher criticism if they don't.
