During the severe winter months, Kunzum Pass remains closed due to heavy snowfall. The thick layer of snow and shivering cold makes it almost impossible for the vehicles to pass through. In the heart of Kunzum Pass, stands the Kunzum Mata Temple. It is a tradition for the travellers to visit this temple and seek blessings. In recent times, road construction projects have made the journey to Kunzum Pass more accessible. New shortcuts have made it easier for the tourists to experience this Himalayan marvel. Travelling to Kunzum Pass isn't everyone's cup of tea. The wind here is stormy and fierce. As the atmospheric pressure decreases with an increase in altitude, it made cooking tough.
