I love this dynamic between Swedish and Danish people where we insult each other at every opportunity for no particular reason. It's like we're old friends, even though I rarely know the person I'm insulting.

I adore Omar's and Joel's friendship also so much! Do we know how they have met? Was it in school? It seems they have been friends for a long time now.

They are the best and so supportive of each other also in work. Joel was a “YouTuber” back in the day with his own YouTube channel. And he is from the Stockholm area. Joel really captures him brilliantly on film. The best photos. I both love his photos and how he does commercial ads with Omar.

In the interview Edvin Törnblom did in 2019, the famous “Haffa” interview, Joel joins them for dinner and Edvin actually asked them how they met. Not much info but they say they met in Kungsbacka, were Omar lived, at an event at a hotel (even more specific a hotel room) a couple of years before the interview was made. That was all they said 😅.

Wish you all a nice summer! I'd like to talk to you about an upcoming project I'm a part of: In Open Air - Boudin 200!

This project, which is dedicated to the french proto-impressionist painter Eugène Boudin (1824-1898), is in collaboration with Duo Diabas and my colleagues Hans Artursson, Emil Ernström and Gonçalo Rodrigues.

This project has been long in the making, and now it is finally being materialized with a premiere performance at Kungsbacka Theatre on October 5, 2024!

Do you know what a Kungbacka Swedish accent is? If not, do any of your Swedish friends know? Someone said Omar has a kungbacka accent and I've been searching for what it means, but I don't see it anywhere. The person also added "only Swedish people would understand", so I'm assuming it's some sort of slang.

Kungsbacka is the area in Sweden where Omar grew up (south of Göteborg), so his dialect would naturally trace back to there. I don’t think it’s that strong though??

Choosing your own path even though maybe no one else chooses that particular path does not mean that it is the wrong path. But it just shows that we are different, which means that we have a nice diversity of different personalities that are meant for different things.

Dare to believe in yourself accelerates the strength and satisfaction within. As well as finding home to where you are supposed to be in life, that gives you the opportunity for true happiness!

Choosing a path doesn't mean it's easy as pie, but who said life only has to be easy. But just having the compass set in the right direction in itself gives well-being as the path is also part of the goal. In any case, for those who choose out of love and interest in the task and the subject.

By this I just want to say that dare to be yourself, dare to go your own way, dare to say what you feel and think but with respect for other people's choices, dare to blossom into who you really are, only that is a passion in itself and something to be proud of. It gives life a nice meaning!

If there is someone who doesn't think you are up to it, then it is time to take off your hat and discover the world. It is our right in the face of a bright and interesting future with the sparkling possibilities of diversity.

It is to be free in the soul! 👉❤️🙏
