Kulu-ya-ku

This was a fun challenge. I made the orientation lines green like the scoutfly glow, but I can't decide if I like it. I love the rest of it though, I'm really proud, & excited to do another one :D

I painted Kulu-Ya-Ku all in one afternoon/evening! He had a surprising bit of nuance, especially the triangle patterns down the spine and tail, and getting the color gradient on the feathers to look just right also proved to be tricky!

Painting him was very relaxing! He was very small and didn't have a lot of colors in his palette. Overall, a very delightful little paint. AND his rock came out great!

Birthday giftart I did for my best friend @grimmhooke! Her Rider character Pom relaxing with his main team of Monsties. I don't draw monsters anywhere near enough these days so it was fun to get the excuse, and to play with some light and cheerful colors!

B I R D  U P Me and a friend has been playing MHW again lately, so I desired to make a low poly model of Kulu-ya-ku. Always liked Kulu-ya-ku, just really funny looking and the egg eating behavior seen amuses me to no end.

Jacey on a camping trip walks into a trap left by some hunters previously, electrocuting her into a more monstrous form... And as her consciousness fades, she hears voices in the distance- "Oh damn! That trap we left actually got something!" "Already? The monster hasn't spawned in yet!" BIRD UP Decided for a Monster Hunter TF for this lol. Figured to do this before going full Poke for the last few days. So decided on doing a colored TF of something I did before with Kulu-ya-ku, since these birbs are just my favorite monster lol, love the way they vibe. _________________
