Once upon a time, in the quiet town of Kurohara, there lived a young man named Naoyasu Kuguri. On the surface, he appeared to be an ordinary guy, going about his daily life with a friendly smile and a cheerful demeanor. However, beneath that facade, Naoyasu harbored a dark secret, one that was tearing him apart from the inside – a crippling phobia known as Dittophobia, the fear of repetition.
Naoyasu's girlfriend, Shilo Akaashi, knew nothing of this hidden torment. Their love was a blossoming flower, but as their relationship deepened, the cracks in Naoyasu's facade began to show. He couldn't escape the relentless loop of traumatic memories from his past – memories of an abusive upbringing and a heart-wrenching breakup with an ex-partner. The pain of those memories haunted him, and his fear of repetition kept him trapped in their grasp.
One fateful day, Shilo's three brothers, Keiji, Hajime, and Seijiro, came to visit. They were a lively bunch, always curious and looking for adventure. As they spent time with Naoyasu, their keen instincts picked up on something amiss. In a quiet moment, they stumbled upon the haunting truth – Naoyasu's secret, the source of his pain.
Shilo, as caring and empathetic as she was, began to sense that Naoyasu was wrestling with something deeply troubling. She saw his moments of unease, his reluctance to engage in repetitive tasks, and his nightmares that shook him awake in the middle of the night. Determined to uncover the truth and help him, she started digging into the fragments of his past that he had long buried.
The revelation of Naoyasu's hidden pain confronted Shilo with a monumental choice. Could she carry the weight of his agony and provide the love and support he so desperately needed to break free from the cycle of repetition and pain? She realized that this was a love that demanded her utmost patience and compassion.
As Shilo and Naoyasu's bond deepened, they began to confront the ghosts of his past, unveiling the fragments of memory that held the key to their future together. It was a rocky journey, fraught with moments of despair and breakthroughs, but they never gave up on each other.
One evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, Shilo noticed that Naoyasu had been growing increasingly distant. His laughter had faded, replaced by a pensive silence that left a lingering ache in her heart. She couldn't bear to see him in pain, but Naoyasu wasn't ready to reveal his secret yet.
One night, the dam finally broke. In a heated argument, Shilo couldn't contain her frustration any longer. She demanded to know what was haunting Naoyasu, why he was pulling away. He hesitated, his eyes filled with tears. He began to share the fragments of his past, the trauma he had been concealing, and the crippling fear that had shackled him for so long. Shilo, overwhelmed by the revelation, felt a mix of emotions. She was heartbroken that Naoyasu had carried this burden alone, but also determined to stand by his side and help him heal.
The next few months were challenging, as they navigated the rough waters of Naoyasu's therapy and healing process together. With Shilo's unwavering support and the guidance of a compassionate therapist, Naoyasu started to make progress. The journey was far from easy, but their love was a beacon of hope.
Fast forward a year, and Shilo's pregnancy was a beautiful surprise. The prospect of becoming parents brought both excitement and trepidation, but they were stronger than ever. Naoyasu, still on the path to recovery, continued his therapy, addressing the remnants of his phobia and trauma, ensuring that their child would enter a world free from the chains of his past.
As Shilo's due date approached, the couple had transformed. Their love had deepened, and Naoyasu's willingness to confront his fears had made him a stronger, more resilient partner. Their baby would soon arrive, bringing with it a new chapter in their lives, where love and understanding had triumphed over the haunting fragments of memory.
As Shilo's due date approached, the atmosphere in their home was filled with a mix of anticipation and nervous excitement. Naoyasu had made remarkable progress in therapy, but the looming arrival of their child brought a fresh wave of anxiety. He couldn't help but worry that his lingering phobia might somehow affect their baby, even though he was determined to break free from its grip.
Shilo, however, remained a pillar of strength. She had seen Naoyasu's transformation, witnessed his efforts to heal, and knew that their love had the power to overcome any challenge. Together, they made preparations for the baby's arrival, painting the nursery with soft pastel colors, assembling the crib, and reading parenting books.
The day finally came when Shilo went into labor. In the midst of the whirlwind of emotions and the flurry of hospital activity, Naoyasu was there by her side, holding her hand, and whispering words of encouragement. Their love, tested and strengthened by the trials of the past, now held them together in the most pivotal moment of their lives.
After hours of labor, the cries of a newborn filled the room. Their child, a beautiful baby boy, had arrived. Shilo held their son in her arms, tears of joy streaming down her face. Naoyasu, overwhelmed by a surge of emotions, couldn't help but smile through his own tears. As he looked into his child's eyes, he felt a deep sense of responsibility and love.
In the following weeks, Shilo and Naoyasu faced the challenges of parenthood together, relying on the bond they had nurtured over the years. They took turns changing diapers, feeding their baby, and singing lullabies. Naoyasu's phobia was still present, but it no longer controlled his life. He continued therapy, ensuring that he could be the best father he could be.
As their child grew, they witnessed the precious moments of his life – his first smile, his first steps, and his first words. Naoyasu's love for his son was evident, and he was determined to provide a nurturing and secure environment.
With time, the painful fragments of memory that had haunted Naoyasu slowly lost their grip, as they were replaced by new, happy memories of their growing family. Love had conquered the shadows of the past, and their story had evolved into a tale of hope, healing, and the enduring power of a love that could weather any storm.
And so, in the loving embrace of their family, Shilo, Naoyasu, and their son continued their journey, knowing that they were united by a bond that had been tested and forged in the crucible of their shared struggles, and now, they could face whatever challenges the future held, together.
As their son grew, he became the light of their lives, a symbol of the love and healing that had taken place in their family. They named him Hiro, which meant "abundant" in Japanese, signifying the abundance of love and hope that had blossomed in their lives.
Hiro was a joyful child, curious and eager to explore the world. Naoyasu and Shilo watched him with wonder and pride as he took his first steps, uttered his first words, and discovered the magic of the world around him. His laughter filled their home, a constant reminder of the beautiful future they had created.
Naoyasu's therapy continued, and over time, his phobia became less intense and intrusive. The support from Shilo and the guidance from his therapist had been instrumental in helping him manage his fears. He realized that he no longer had to be a prisoner of his past, that he could be the loving father and partner he had always wanted to be.
As Hiro grew older, Naoyasu and Shilo made a conscious effort to create a nurturing and open environment for him. They were determined to break the cycle of abuse and pain that had haunted Naoyasu's past. Together, they taught Hiro about love, empathy, and the importance of seeking help when needed.
Their journey was far from over, and there were moments when Naoyasu's phobia resurfaced, triggered by certain situations or memories. But each time, he would turn to Shilo and his therapist, finding strength in their unwavering support. Together, they faced these challenges head-on, refusing to let the past define their future.
Years passed, and Hiro grew into a compassionate and understanding young man, a testament to the love and resilience of his parents. Naoyasu and Shilo had not only built a family together but also mended the fragments of memory that had once haunted their lives.
Their story, which began with pain and secrets, had transformed into a story of redemption, love, and hope. Naoyasu, Shilo, and Hiro stood together, a family bonded by the belief that healing was possible, and that, with love, they could overcome even the darkest of pasts. They knew that their journey would continue, but they faced the future with a newfound strength and a shared understanding of the power of love to heal and transform lives.
In the end, their story wasn't defined by the trials and tribulations they had faced but by the love that had conquered all obstacles. Naoyasu, Shilo, and Hiro found solace in the warmth of their family, a sanctuary of healing and hope.
As they watched the sunset one evening, with Hiro's laughter ringing in the background, Naoyasu and Shilo held each other's hands, their eyes filled with a shared sense of pride and gratitude. They had come a long way from the darkness of Naoyasu's past, and now their family was a testament to the enduring power of love, resilience, and the strength of the human spirit.
Their story, "Fragments of Memory," was no longer a tale of hurt and pain, but a story of redemption and transformation. It ended with a promise – the promise that their love would continue to guide them through life's challenges, that they would face the future as a united, unbreakable family, and that, together, they could overcome anything that came their way.
In the gentle embrace of that moment, as the sun dipped below the horizon, they knew that their story was a story of love's triumph, a beacon of hope for all those who had experienced their own fragments of memory, and a reminder that, with love, even the most shattered pieces of a life could be made whole again.

by the kuguri eater (chokoooreto)
As my head kept spinning, the white haired man on top of me started laughing. His face was close. Too close. He might call me ‘Cheetah’ for whatever reason, but I felt like I was the prey in this situation.
“It seems Gépard hasn't forgotten about me, after all. Your body is so hot. You're going to get a fever at this rate.” He whispered right in my ear, sending shivers down my whole semi-naked body. Every part of me he touched felt like burning. He knew how much trouble I was having keeping myself together, and that totally aroused him. That was his objective from the start.
“Ah—” A drop of red fell onto the sheets below me, staining it with a color very close to the one of my tie. My nose started bleeding out of nowhere.
“Fufu, that's really cute” He whispered as he wiped my nose with the left thumb of his prosthetic hand. I couldn't hold it in anymore. I quickly got out of the bed, put on my clothes again properly, and stormed out of the room, closing the door behind me with a loud slam.
