Pics: Some of Subterranea's residents.
1. Tyrannus, once a tyrannical Roman emperor. Kept young & vibrant by the Fountain of Youth!
2. Grotesk, underground nihilist wants to totally destroy the surface world...
3. Kro, Deviant scientist & secret 'lover' of the Eternal Thena!!
4. Mole Man, blind leader of the Moloids & Fantastic Four enemy!
1906: The Earth (is) Not Hollow.
Intro: Subterranea is an underground kingdom that was originally home of the Deviants.
It concists of a planet-wide network of caverns deep beneath the surface.
At Monster Island, these tunnels reach to the center of the Earth!!
Ancient Lizard Men, Lava men & many monsters call Subterranea home.
Places of special interest are the areas of Abysmia, the Fountain of Youth, the cities of Lechuguilla & Meramec, the Valley of Diamonds, etc all of them are located down here...
History: 20,000 years ago, the city of Netheria witnessed a Deviant attack on Atlantis!
The Netherians responded by enclosing their city & fortifying their foundations.
When Atlantis sank, Netheria ended up even deeper in the Earth - coming to rest in the Netherworld!
The exiled Tyrannus stumbled upon the Fountain of Youth & came to rule the Tyrannoids!!
Much later, the Mole Man took over a large part of Subterranea - with the help of his Moloids & giant monsters.
Recently, this underworld has seen the rise of the Ani-Men, Mutates & others.
The F.F., the High Evolutionary, Mister Sinister, the Frightful 4, etc have all either visited there or have used these dark depths for hidden bases.
Subterranean War - After civil war 'hit' Deviant controlled Lemuria, Kro was nowhere to be found. So, Brutus assumed the empty throne!
He began reclaiming all lands once belonging to the Deviants - including Subterranea!!
This war spilled out onto the streets of NYC. But, it turned out that these 'invaders' were actually refugees!!
Investigating, the Avengers are all captured by Brutus's forces!
Tyrannus & Mole Man get Hulk's help - by kidnapping his friends, Rick Jones & Betty Banner!!
Attacked at the Fountain of Youth, Hulk triggers a rockfall, burying it!
Once Betty & Rick are safe, Hulk empties out the last of the Fountain's water & laughs as Tyrannus tries to lick it off the dirt floor!!
Then, Tyrannus convulses & dies! Because Brutus had poisoned the Fountain's water...
Meanwhile, an aged Kala seeks out Iron Man's help. But, they're attacked by the Outcasts & Kala's kidnapped!
Iron Man's able to rescue her at the city of Netherland.
The Deviants final attack uses the high tech Oscillatron, which can shatter whole realms apart...
But, the West Coast & Great Lakes Avengers defeat the Deviant forces.
In the aftermath, it's discovered that Brutus is actually a Mutate - passing himself off for a Deviant!
So, his own Mutates rip him apart!!
Author/Artist: Created by the team of P. Gustavson & R. Gill for Marvel Mystery Comics #10 in June 1940!

Butterfly Effect
She waited patiently with her back pressed against the wall. The cool walls of the Domo stiffened her bones, making it hard for her to bend even a finger. Her eyes bounced across the room, looking for a threat. She was just a distraction, prepared to fight her own brother.
The relationship between her and Ikaris has never been particularly easy. He was always loyal to Mommy, hanging by the top of her skirt like a baby on his bottle. Fighting him was not easy, but winning was child's play in many ways. Ikaris relied entirely on his physical strength and the cosmic laser beams. But he lacked the knowledge and the discipline to use them wisely. That's why he beat up his opponents without thinking. It was reckless in many ways.
When he broke through the ceiling, she pushed away from the wall with her palms and created one of her cosmic swords. "Where is Druig?" he asked, indifferently, as if he had no intention of killing his own brother. "He's busy." She walked toward him without losing even a hint of her elegance. "Thena, play nice." She twirled the sword above her head and then forward. He grasped it with one hand as if it were merely the toy sword of a small child.
"You've never had to fight me." She smiled and it disgusted him. "But I've always wanted to." As soon as she finished speaking, she turned the sword into a spear, forcing her brother to let go of the weapon. She twirled her weapons several times and made him recoil with a thrust to the stomach. Ikaris lifted off the ground and drew on his sister with his lasers, who devalued his attack with her shield.
As Ikaris smashed her shield and pressed her against the wall of the spaceship, shreds of memories flashed before her eyes. And in this moment, she snapped. Anger overcame her. The longing for peace for her mind overwhelmed her. It was not the Deviant she had to kill for her inner peace. Kro was not the culprit who had taken away her anchor to reality, to her life.
She grabbed his wrists and turned the tables. She pinned him against the wall and jammed two daggers into his hands to hold him in place. She lost control of herself and punched him in the solar plexus to knock him out for a moment. "Scraggly bitch!" He pulled his hands down. The daggers stuck in the wall tore his hands in two. In pain, he clenched his bloody fists and punched the goddess of war. Thena barely got a scratch. The adrenaline and the desire to kill her brother filled her from head to toe. He killed Ajak, who involuntarily had to give up her powers to a beast. He sacrificed his mother for his moronic conviction.
She rammed her elbow into her brother's gastric triangle. He stumbled backward and lost his balance. She knelt over him and rammed a dagger into his liver. Ikaris tried to fight back, but his aim left much to be desired. He coughed and spat blood. Thena's blow burst the fine blood vessels in his stomach. "This is your fault." she whispered in a low voice. Ikaris cried out as she drove her blade through his chest and into his lungs. "I wouldn't have to do this if you hadn't been so selfish."
Another stitch.
"If you hadn't killed her, if you would have let her live-"
Another stitch. Her hands were shaking.
"Then none of this would have happened!"
She became louder, her stitches sloppier.
"HE'D STILL BE ALIVE!"
With each sting, the blood in her face multiplied. The wall was broken through. Everything she had ever felt poured out and her tears covered the blood on her otherwise pale skin.
Another stitch.
"T-Thena-"
Another stitch.
"T-The-na, p-plea-please-"
The blood flowed from his mouth. She was befuddled, trapped by her feelings, guided by pain.
One last stab.
Her trembling hands clutched the dagger stuck in her brother's chest. Tears dripped onto the blue-gold armor, the blood spread and covered the floor like a carpet.
"You killed him." she whispered. "And you didn't care." The dagger vanished into thin air. She braced herself heavily with her hands and leaned limply against the wall. "Your choices..." She pulled her knees to her body and clutched them. "...cost them both their lives."
"You killed him." she sniffed.
"You took him from me." She buried her face between her arms and legs.
There she sat now, huddled against the wall, next to her brother's corpse. Her sandy white hair, her porcelain colored skin soaked with blood.
It could have turned out differently. But every decision has consequences.

Kro, the intelligent Deviant, shows up on the island where they're fighting Ikarus. Like. Just washes ashore, like he wanted to make sure the movie didn't forget he's a thing.
It's funny. All this stuff with Ikarus has been genuinely compelling, so I actually had forgotten he was a thing. And now.
Like.
Everything's different.
The Deviants and Eternals are one and the same. They're cogs in Arishem's machine, used to cultivate planets for Celestial births. Deviants have been killing humans and Eternals have been killing Deviants for thousands of years.
And now, we have a sapient Deviant, capable of complex thought and understanding of the Deviants' and Eternals' place in the wicked cogworks. And the Eternals are now aware of and capable of understanding the Deviants' and Eternals' place in the wicked cogworks. So much is different now that--
Oh, no, never mind. He's just an feral monster like the rest, and we're gonna have Thena kill him in a cool action scene while Phastos is fighting Ikarus. Here at the end, with all secrets revealed, absolutely nothing about the Eternals' and Deviants' relationship has changed in any way.
Okay.

Eternals Vs Deviants - Eternals Fight Scene | Gilgamesh Death Scene - al...
Eternals Vs Deviants - Eternals Fight Scene | Gilgamesh Death Scene - alien powers confront Eternals Vs Deviants - Eternals Fight Scene | Gilgamesh Death Scene - alien powers confront Eternals Vs Deviants - Eternals Fight Scene | Gilgamesh Death Scene - alien powers confront Eternals" is a Marvel superhero film released in 2021, and it introduces two ancient races, the Eternals and the Deviants. Here's a breakdown of the Eternals vs. Deviants conflict:
Eternals:
Origin: Created by the Celestials, the Eternals are a race of immortal and superpowered beings tasked with protecting humanity. Powers: Each Eternal possesses unique abilities, such as super strength, flight, telepathy, and control over matter. They are virtually indestructible and don't age. Purpose: The Eternals' primary mission is to defend Earth from external threats, particularly the monstrous Deviants. Leadership: Ajak (Salma Hayek) serves as the wise and ancient leader of the Eternals, guiding them in their mission. Deviants:
Origin: Similar to the Eternals, the Deviants are also created by the Celestials. However, unlike the Eternals, they are genetically unstable and vary widely in appearance. Abilities: Deviants are a diverse group with unique powers, and they often exhibit animalistic features. They are a threat to both humans and Eternals. Agenda: Deviants are presented as a destructive force that opposes the Eternals. They seek to dominate and destroy civilizations, creating conflict throughout history. Leader: Kro (Barry Keoghan) is a prominent Deviant who evolves and adapts over the centuries, becoming a formidable adversary to the Eternals. Conflict:
Historical Battles: The Eternals and Deviants have clashed throughout human history, with the Eternals protecting humanity from Deviant threats. Emergence: In the film, the Eternals reassemble after centuries of inactivity due to the emergence of the Deviants, who pose a new and more significant threat. Internal Struggle: The Eternals face an internal struggle as they question their purpose and the true nature of their mission, leading to conflicts among themselves. Celestial Agenda: The overarching conflict involves the Celestials' agenda, with the Eternals and Deviants serving as pawns in a larger cosmic plan for the evolution of life on Earth. The Eternals vs. Deviants conflict adds a layer of complexity to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, exploring themes of duty, identity, and the consequences of meddling with cosmic forces. ikaris vs flying deviant

AJAK

Eterna
