We've already accepted people will be crying in the comments because Glennon Doyle posts vaguely about Palestine so let's break down her zionism. In October 2023, Glennon helped manufacture public consent for genocide and gave 100k to a Zionist settler organization. In March 2024, half a year into the escalated genocide, she invited Alon-Lee Green, a Zionist settler who has advised the Zionist parliament, on her podcast. The podcast also featured Palestinian, Sally Abed. The pair belong to organization, Standing Together. The Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI) has labeled Standing Together "an Israeli normalization outfit that seeks to distract from and whitewash Israel's ongoing genocide in Gaza." Furthermore, Doyle's upcoming television series will star and be adapted by explicit Zionists in the industry.
When you buy or stream Untamed (upcoming TV series), Abby's Places, We Can Do Hard Things Podcast, or donate to Together Rising, you're giving money to Zionists. Glennon Doyle is a covert Zionist.

I *do* have polls after all (just not while able to Quick Tag with xKit)!
Fellow Buddie/Dickley shppers: Although, notably, unlikely, it is now "on-the-table" to trade in Krista for Kristen as showrunner.

Kelly McCreary Announces She’s Leaving ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ After 9 Seasons: “I Will Always Be Grateful”
Barely a month after Grey’s Anatomy veteran Ellen Pompeo left the medical drama, actress Kelly McCreary announced she will also be stepping away from the show. “After nine seasons, I am saying goodbye to Maggie Pierce and her Grey Sloan family. It has been a tremendous honor to be a part of such a legendary television institution as Grey’s Anatomy,” McCreary wrote in a statement, per…

the writing for greys is so weird like they explicitly mention why Maggie and Jackson getting together is weird (and incest like) and then they go around and put them together anyway? 😭
Yeah and why did they think they could write in the chemistry by having others say Maggie and Jackson have chemistry when there was none??? (no offense to Jesse and Kelly, they're wonderful actors, the chemistry just wasn't there)
I'll never understand why they went with that storyline when nobody wanted it fjfjjd so I just pretend it didn't happen

ok maybe it's just that bbc merlin ruined me for tv forever and ever and i no longer have faith in any show becasue all showrunners are conniving assholes who are more concerned with their image in pop culture and selling their show to the biggest audience and making studios happy and none of them actually give a shit about anything they keep having special little episodes about. like roberto aguirre sacasa doesn't give a shit about racism he did that weird emmet till plot so people wouldn't call him problematic on twitter again. he doesn't care about gay representation he cares about making his bosses happy while he works with the four gay characters he was canonically allowed. like i know it's fun to be delusional but the jarchie longcon isn't happening you stupid slut. it never was. we're getting the barchie endgame we were cryptically promised in the pilot and it's going to suck and the idea that some of you genuinely think of ras as some kind of heroic gay liberator of television is insane to me. this show is on the cw please be serious...

When you think about it past all the angst and whatnot, Japril as a ship is comedic gold. Started boning because they had test anxiety. Their second time having sex was in a public bathroom and one party later insisted they’re a virgin. Had a pregnancy scare, got engaged, and broke up in the SAME SHIFT at work. The jealousy storyline started because one of them invited the other to go to a wedding with one of their colleagues (against their will). Interrupted a whole ass wedding to run off together and then pretended that they weren’t together for weeks to all of their family and friends despite having eloped. Realized there were consequences to their actions and were just 😡 about it. Got divorced because they have the communication skills of a peanut lying on the floor of a Texas Roadhouse (none). One of them was pregnant and didn’t tell the other for an extremely long time which led to a custody battle that lasted like six episodes before they were peachy again. Oh wait! Now she’s dying in labor! Wait no she’s fine. Let’s move in together! Both of them have feelings for each other which culminates in them sleeping together and they’re literally raising a child together and for all intents and purposes #married but then they get Divorce Number Two and one of them is so distraught they start to date their step sibling. She gets married to dude she left at the altar who is just okay with it because his wife died? Step sibling is more shocked by the fact that he’s clearly still in love with his ex wife than like. The sibling thing. They break up. He goes through some not as serious relationships/situationships. Convinces Dream Wife to Move to Boston where they presumably had inappropriate sex and got back together and then became the only confirmed end game ship on the show. Legendary, those two. No fucking notes except yes fucking notes and Krista Vernoff is getting my therapy bill.

Now that you’re on Season 3, it’s kinda wild how Maya actually had friends and seemed to live a pretty normal life (at least at the station) before all her trauma got brought back this season. Do you think the writers did that on purpose, or was it more because they switched showrunners? Like, Stacy McKee and Krista Vernoff definitely had totally different takes on who Maya is.
This is such an interesting ask!!!
I think when Station started, Maya was figuring out what it meant to live a normal life. Her competitiveness was still there, but it wasn’t front and center. At the Station, especially with Pruitt as Captain, she seemed to feel like she was part of something close to a family, a big deal for her given how she grew up.
I don’t think Maya became a totally different character as the show went on. It feels more like the writers decided to highlight different parts of who she is. Under Stacy McKee, we got to see the lighter side of Maya, she was still ambitious and driven, but there was a sense of balance, even though you could tell there was something darker bubbling under the surface.
When Krista took over, Maya’s darker side really came to the forefront. Her trauma and flaws were put front and center, giving us a deep dive into how her upbringing shaped her. Season 3 altered her life and her relationships with everyone at the Station forever.
But at her core, it’s still the same Maya. We just got to see her struggles with control and self-worth brought out into the open.
What I loved about Krista’s approach was how she brought out Maya’s vulnerability alongside her darker side. Falling in love with Carina was the first time Maya really let someone see her, walls and all. It was a raw, honest look at her flaws, but also her ability to love and grow. It just made her feel so real and relatable to me.
