Damn, it's Tsu....made Mitsuba's twin tails.... I'm not okay
Delulu is top notch, but it's so funny, what's the point of not being delulu, if something is obviously canonical, then shouting about it is boring, and if it's a made-up rare, then screw it lol, I'm not forcing other people to agree with me on this after all (look at some shippers who can never get enough)
Damn, there's someone else there who's Tsukasa preening 😭😭show me...how cool he is, my boyy (is he playing with a doll?? gigachad)

I'm genuinely convinced there are some people on this earth who hate humanity, and so they wrote really sad and angsty stories to make you cry.

"I love you more than life itself" - Akaza x Reader
Warnings: demon!reader, mentions of dying Synopsis: in the aftermath of a fierce battle with a Hashira, Akaza finds himself teetering on the brink of death. As his final moments approach, he realizes that he must make a choice: does he embrace the afterlife with his beloved Koyuki, or does he cling to the hope of survival for the sake of his demoness? Requested by: anonymous
MASTERLIST
Akaza fought a fierce battle against one of the Hashiras, but unfortunately, he was fatally injured in the process. His once-powerful body now lay on the ground, weak and unable to move. He could feel the warmth of his life force leaving his body, and with it, his strength and power.
As he looked up into the brightening sky, he couldn't help but think about his life and all the choices he had made. As he felt his life force slipping away, he closed his eyes and whispered a heartfelt apology to his wife, who had been taken from him so many years ago. He had longed to join her in the afterlife for so long, and now it seemed as if his wish was finally coming true.
Akaza's memories were slowly returning as he lay dying. His mind drifted to the past, to a time when he was still human and had a wife named Koyuki. They were deeply in love and had promised each other to never leave each other's side. However, fate had other plans. He could feel her presence calling out to him, urging him to join her in the afterlife. Memories of their time together flooded his mind, the laughter they shared, the love they had for each other.
Suddenly, a figure appeared before him. It was Koyuki, his wife, dressed in a pink kimono with her black hair pinned in a bun.
"Koyuki," Akaza whispered, his voice cracking as he slowly raised his hand as if he was about to grab her palm. "Is that really you?"
Koyuki gave him a small, sad smile. "Yes, Hakuji. It's me."
Akaza's heart swelled with emotion as he took in the sight of her. Her beauty had not diminished since the day she died, and it only made him ache for her even more. Her words set his heart ablaze.
"I've missed you so much," Akaza whimpered, his voice shaking.
"I know, my love," Koyuki replied softly. "But it's time for you to let go. You've done enough. You can finally rest."
Akaza shook his head. "I can't leave, not yet… There's still something holding me back."
"What is it?" Koyuki asked, her eyes full of concern.
Akaza hesitated before finally admitting, "I… I've met someone else."
Koyuki's expression changed - there was a hint of sadness in her eyes. She knew that her husband had found someone else in the years that she had been gone, and she couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy. "Hakuji, my dear husband. I understand that you have found someone new, but you must remember our love. You promised me forever, and I believed you. I want you to be happy, but you can't ignore your past, our past."
Akaza hung his head, ashamed. He knew Koyuki was right. He had made a promise to her, a promise he intended to keep until the end of time. But you had made him feel alive again, something he hadn't felt in decades. "I'm sorry, Koyuki," Akaza uttered, his voice barely above a whisper. "I've let you down."
Koyuki nodded slowly, her eyes downcast. "I see. And what about me? Have you forgotten about me?"
Akaza's expression softened as he reached out to her. "Never. I could never forget about you, Koyuki. You were the love of my life."
Koyuki smiled sadly, her eyes brimming with tears. "Then why are you still holding on to someone else? It's time for you to let go, Hakuji. You've suffered enough." Koyuki stepped closer to him, her hand reaching out to cup his cheek. "It's alright, my love. I forgive you." With that, Koyuki leaned forward and pressed her lips to his forehead, and Akaza felt a sense of peace wash over him.
However, just as he felt the embrace of his beloved, he heard a familiar voice calling out to him from beyond. It was you, the demon he had dated for decades, and a part of him hesitated. He had always felt a connection with you, a bond that transcended the differences in their species. But now, with the promise of reuniting with his wife before him, he was torn.
Akaza's senses were heightened as he tried to locate the source of the familiar voice he had just heard. He looked around, scanning the empty void that surrounded him. The air was thick with an eerie silence, and he could feel the weight of the emptiness pressing down on him. He closed his eyes and focused on the sound of your voice, trying to drown out everything else. Akaza's eyes widened in surprise, his mind struggling to make sense of what was happening. "Y/N?" He murmured, his voice barely above a whisper. "Is that you, Y/N?"
The voice spoke again, clear and unmistakable. "Akaza, it's me. I'm here."
Akaza's heart raced with conflicting emotions. On one hand, he felt an overwhelming sense of joy at hearing yuour voice again after so long. On the other hand, he was torn between his love for Koyuki and the deep connection he shared with the demoness. Memories of their time together flooded Akaza's mind, reminding him of the passion and love you had shared. He remembered the way you had looked at him with such intensity, your eyes full of love and desire. He remembered the way you had touched him, the way your body had felt against his. Akaza's mind raced as he struggled to make a decision. Should he choose to join Koyuki in the afterlife, or should he continue to live with the demoness he loved?
Meantime, you were struggling to keep Akaza conscious, and you begged him to stay with you. "Please, don't leave me here alone. You can heal your body. You're a demon, you can recover from this," you pleaded, gripping his hand tightly, gently shaking his shoulder with your other hand.
Akaza's breathing was labored, his body trembling with the effort of staying alive. "I don't know if I can heal from this. It's too much, even for a demon," he gasped, his voice barely above a whisper as he was hung between life and death.
"But you have to try," you insisted, your voice cracking with emotion. "I can't lose you, Akaza. I won't be able to live without you."
Akaza's eyes slowly closed as he drifted away into the unconsciousness again. His breathing became shallow and his body went limp. He knew that he was badly injured and that he might not make it through this. The pain was excruciating and his mind felt fuzzy.
Akaza's eyes fluttered open once more, and before him stood Koyuki again, her pink kimono billowing gently around her.
"Koyuki…" Akaza breathed, his voice barely above a whisper.
She looked at him with a smile. "It's time, Hakuji. Time to let go of this life as a demon and join me. We can finally rest in peace, together."
Akaza's gaze drifted down to his battered and broken body, his wounds oozing blood. He knew that Koyuki was right, that his time as a demon was over. "But what about… her?" Akaza asked, his mind drifting to you again.
"She will find her own way," Koyuki replied gently. "You have done all that you could for her. Now it's time to focus on yourself."
Akaza's eyes widened as he looked at Koyuki, her image fading slightly before him. He took a step back, his voice cracking as he spoke. "I can't go with you, Koyuki," he uttered, his tone filled with sorrow. "I'm not ready to leave yet." Tears streamed down his face as he spoke, his heart heavy with the weight of his decision. "I know I've been gone for so long, and I'm sorry for that," he continued, his voice barely above a whisper. "But I can't leave now. Not when there's still so much left for me to do."
Koyuki's image flickered once more, a look of sadness on her face as she spoke. Hakuji, my love, it's time to let go. You've lived a long life, and you've fought so hard. It's time to rest now, my love."
Akaza shook his head, his body trembling as he spoke. "I can't leave yet," he repeated. "There is still someone who needs me. There are still battles to be fought."
As he spoke, Koyuki's image began to fade away completely, leaving Akaza alone once more. He fell to his knees, surrounded by the darkness, his body racked with sobs as he realized that he had made his decision. He would not go with Koyuki to the afterlife just yet. There was still too much left for him to do in this world.
You gasped in disbelief and joy as Akaza's body began to slowly heal. Tears streamed down your face as you watched him, unable to contain the overwhelming emotions you were feeling. You thanked the heavens above for bringing him back to you.
As Akaza regained consciousness, he looked around in confusion before his gaze finally settled on you. He attempted to speak, but his voice was weak and strained. You hurriedly assured him that he was going to be alright, petting his bare shoulder.
With tears still streaming down your face, you recounted to Akaza what had happened and how worried you had been. You told him that you were grateful he was still with you and that you couldn't imagine your life without him.
Akaza listened to your words quietly, his own eyes glistening with tears. He reached out to take your hand, his grip weak but reassuring. Akaza knew that he had given up on his past, his old way of life and beliefs. All of it seemed so insignificant now, in the face of the love that had pulled him back from the brink of death. It was a love so pure and true that he couldn't deny it, even if he wanted to. He had found something worth living for, someone worth fighting for. And in that moment, as he lay there healing, he knew that he would do whatever it takes to hold onto it. "I love you more than life itself."

fight so dirty
Kimetsu Academy history teacher Rengoku Kyojuro never disappointed. His classes were beloved by all, and his methods were unorthodox - he believed learning solely from books alone was tiresome and promised disinterest, especially from the young folk of today. Lessons were as hands-on and physical as the school would allow - having the rowdy and excitable teenagers reenact scenes of war, protest, and other historical events (as safely as possible), so the children could experience firsthand what it could be to live through such times.
And in that spring, with the weather so pleasant, Rengoku often took them out on field trips - like the one they were on at the moment.
A flock of over 20 teenagers trailed behind the sunset-haired teacher like baby ducks, followed by a chaperone - teacher Kanroji. They were making their way to Keizo's dojo, a martial arts school that taught an old, near-dying style of jiu-jitsu.
They were welcomed in by a small, pale young woman who introduced herself as Koyuki, the dojo owner's daughter; she first took them to the lockers, where they all changed into keikogi, including the two teachers. Koyuki led them inside and showed them to the mats on the floor where they could all sit in front of the teacher.
The brunet man sitting in seiza in front of them was far younger than the one Rengoku made all the plans and arrangements with, and he quickly realized he must be the son-in-law master Keizo had mentioned.
"Welcome to Keizo's dojo, we're honored to host you all," the young man spoke, bowing stiffly (Rengoku made notice of Koyuki giggling softly at this). "I'm Hakuji, master Keizo's apprentice and a teacher here. I will be in charge of today's lesson in Master Keizo's stead, since he is bedridden with a minor cold."
At this, Rengoku shouted: "WE SHALL BE IN YOUR CARE!"
His students echoed the sentence, though far less ear-piercingly.
The history of Soryū, the jiu-jitsu style Keizo taught, went back over 400 years in the past, and though Hakuji had began explaining it a little bit choppily and awkwardly, he quickly gained steam and went over the details he knew with a lot of passion - seemingly, this was a subject he was extremely interested in.
The oral introduction to the style wasn't supposed to be long - master Keizo understood Rengoku's methods and agreed for the lesson to be more physical - but the young brunet was so enthralled by the subject that he accidentally spent way too much time going over the style theory vocally. Rengoku felt terrible interrupting, though - and to him, it WAS quite interesting -, so the one to stop him was Koyuki.
"Dear... don't forget the lesson plan!" the young woman reminded him in her soft tone, smiling sympathetically.
"Ah...!" Hakuji flushed and flailed a little. "My apologies! I hope I didn't bore you all..."
One of the students was smacked awake by another. Rengoku tried to distract the teacher from the disheartening sight. "Not at all! It was all so interesting! However, it would certainly be nice to move onward with the actual lessons!"
And, just as he finished saying that, the sound of doors opening and closing was heard from outside, as well as some muffled shouts of, "Keizo!? You there!?" Koyuki mumbled, "Oh, that must be him!", quickly walked to the door and left.
Hakuji grumbled and sighed. "That is... Master Keizo's special guest. Master decided it would be a good idea to have him demonstrate Soryū with me," by the slightly annoyed look on his face, it was obvious the brunet was not happy with this. "Hope that is fine with you, professor Rengoku!"
Rengoku wanted to say yes, but he was interrupted when the sliding door was nearly slammed open and-
A near-identical copy of teacher Hakuji clamorously stormed in.
All the students, Kanroji and Rengoku gasped, oh-ed and WAH?!-ed. Some of his rowdier students even screamed - specifically, Agatsuma and Hashibira. The boy with the boar hat jumped to his feet and pointed excitedly at the stranger.
"IT'S FUCKING AKAZA! MMA LEGEND AKAZA!"
Rengoku had no time to restrain him because the same brown haired boy that had smacked his classmate awake now bonked Hashibira on the head and forced him back on the floor.
The attention was quickly back on the stranger and Hakuji - all eyes boggling back and forth from the two, astonished by the uncanny similarity. Their faces and builds were identical - both pale and very fit, with powerful arms and legs, yet gentle, beautiful faces, highlighted by very long and light-colored eyelashes - and the only things that differentiated them physically were the stranger's ear piercings and hair, which was dyed a soft pink.
Teacher Hakuji, already on his feet the second his pink-haired doppelgänger walked in, was standing next to him with an expression mix of annoyed and apologetic. With a sigh, he spoke:
"...this is Akaza, Keizo's special guest. He and I joined this dojo at the same time, and we have a similar level in Soryū, which-"
"You're just gonna skim over what's boggling their minds, huh?" this Akaza interrupted rudely and turned to the class with a toothy grin. "Hi, I'm his identical twin~ I'll be in your care~ sorry my little brother is such a stick in the mud~"
Hakuji gasped. "I'm not a-! You-! I'm only 5 minutes younger! How-" the brunet grumbled and shook his head, exhaling to try and calm himself down. "Anyway- Akaza and I are going to demonstrate Soryū, and once you all understand it, we can do some rounds with the students like we promised, professor Rengoku."
When Rengoku exclaimed a resounding, "YES!", he noticed Akaza's eyes were trained on him. The pink haired man grinned and made a small gesture of "hello", which the teacher responded to with a small nod.
Akaza left for a minute to change into keikogi to match his brother, and when he came back a few of the students (and Mitsuri, again) OOOOH-ed lowly - now that Akaza was wearing slightly shorter sleeves, the tattoos on both of his arms were visible.
They were dark blue, armband type tattoos, and Rengoku could swear he remembered them from somewhere. The man sporting them smirked at the spectators' reactions, showing them off not-so-subtly by crossing his arms over his meaty chest.
Hakuji tsk-ed and made to kick his twin on the back of his shin, which Akaza quickly avoided, and deflected with his own foot.
Without any introduction or preparations, the men began sparring - though, to Rengoku, it seemed more like a genuine fight.
Both men's movements were fluid and fast, and whether it was because they knew each other well enough, or the genuine talent in their fighting style, they were always one step ahead of each other - almost always predicting their opponent's attacks to shield themselves from a blow.
Hakuji, Rengoku noticed, put more emphasis on his leg and foot attacks, often managing to land kicks to Akaza's back and shins, which the pink-haired man often left unguarded. But despite this, Akaza was still landing more debilitating hits - punching Hakuji on his weaker points with his powerful fists, which seemed like they could punch through concrete.
The session ended when Hakuji fell to the mat floor, pinned by the chest by Akaza's arm after a kick to his legs. The brunet all but growled in frustration at having to tap out and admit defeat, yet he had to show an honorable loss to the students.
Sitting back down in his previous seiza position (albeit a lot more disheveled and out of breath), Hakuji addressed the students and teachers before him.
"That was our demonstration of Soryū,” he panted out, and brushed some sweaty hair out of his face. “Now, with professor Rengoku's help, please partner up in pairs, and I shall teach you some basic moves."
Rengoku shot up to his feet in excitement. "That was amazing! You two are amazing! Thank you for the demonstration!"
Saying this, he urged all his students to pick a friend to spar against, unaware of a certain pair of hazel - near golden - eyes following his moves intently, curiously.
The boar hat boy - Hashibira - was disgruntled. "I don't wanna partner up with these weaklings!" He almost roared. Then, he pointed at Akaza yet again, this time challengingly. "Fight me, Akaza! I only fight against the strongest!"
Mitsuri flailed, trying to apologize to the man while also reeling the student in. "Ino-! My sincerest apologies, Mr. Akaza- You can't just challenge professional fighters like that, Inosuke-!"
Akaza was very visibly having fun, rocking back and forth on his heels slightly and grinning. "I love your spirit, kid!" He praised. "Unfortunately, you're a little bit too small to be challenging me~ I only pick on people my size!"
After hearing this, Hashibira went red in the face - whether out of humiliation or ire, nobody was sure - and his challenging stance turned into more of a little tantrum. Rengoku trotted up to him and Mitsuri to try and reason with him.
"Don't falter, Young Hashibira! Mr. Akaza did say you're almost there in terms of muscle mass and height! You can challenge him again in a couple years!"
As the boar boy slowly - reluctantly - calmed down, the pink haired man hummed in thought, resting his chin on his fist - eyes still watching the history teacher, almost as if scanning him.
"Would the teacher perhaps- Rengoku, was it?- want to go up against me, instead?" Akaza said with a wolfish grin, causing a silence to fall over the dojo. He locked eyes with the man and chuckled. "I would go easy on you, of course."
Rengoku felt a shiver of unknown origin go down his spine.
Hashibira immediately started urging the blond man on, saying, "defend my honor!" and "you're weaker than me, of course, but you've got the build!" A lot of the students were pumped about it, too - seeing their favorite teacher in a "fight" would probably be a topic of conversation for weeks. It would be legendary.
One student though, Tsuyuri, seemed worried, and, though her voice was very quiet, her best friend Kamado wasn't, and his echoing of her concerns reached everyone's ears.
"Professor Rengoku might get hurt? Wait, don't you know, Kanao...?"
Rengoku interrupted everyone when he laughed and proclaimed, "I accept your challenge, Mr. Akaza!"
He looked over at Tsuyuri and smiled; he was extremely lucky to have such sweet and concerned students who worried for his safety. He gave her a small thumbs up to reassure her and turned back around to face Akaza, as passionate as ever.
"And, you don't have to go easy on me! I come from a long line of kendo instructors, and I have taken quite a few judo lessons since I was a child - I'm a second dan black belt!"
This received a chorus of OOOH-s and WAAAH-s from his students. More importantly, though, it got a smirk out of Akaza - one that promised nothing but trouble.
(Despite himself, Rengoku couldn't deny that made him a trouble-seeker).
After grumbling at his brother, berating him for being rude towards guests, Hakuji went to direct the pairs of students towards the center of the room to begin teaching them - and Rengoku approached his challenger.
"I'm Rengoku Kyojuro, it's a pleasure meeting you!" Rengoku exclaimed, bowing quickly. "I'm more of a sumo kind of guy, but I've seen you on TV and in the news once or twice, so meeting you is an honor, Mr. Akaza!"
The pink haired man hummed, also bowing... and scanning the man, yet again. As a fighter, seeing men of Rengoku's physique instinctually made him size them up - and as an opponent, he was definitely worth his attention.
"Kyojuro," he tried the name out on his tongue - it felt a lot more natural than Rengoku. He smiled. "Not much of an MMA guy, huh."
Rengoku was shocked at hearing his first name from a stranger. He probably showed it on his face, judging by the warmth that rushed to his cheeks, but he made no comment about it. Strangely, it didn't feel wrong.
"Now that I know you were trained in Soryū, I will definitely be following your exploits more closely, Mr. Akaza!"
"You can drop the honorifics," the shorter man chimed in, or rather, interrupted. He didn't care for formality - much less with somebody he was interested in- power-wise, that is, of course, he tried to reassure himself.
"...Akaza," the teacher corrected himself sheepishly, flustered slightly at the casualness. "Shall we begin our sparring, Akaza?"
The pink haired man grinned from ear to ear, excited, and got into a lower stance, fists forward in a defense position. He urged the teacher to do the same, to make the first move with a taunting cock of the head, eager to figure out what kind of fighter this man was - and if his instincts were right.
Rengoku didn't go for an attack right away, instead the two men slowly stepped in a circle, calculating; Akaza, the blond’s first move, and the teacher how to get through that air tight defense he witnessed in the brothers’ sparring. The pink haired man’s stance was low and guarded; like a fortress, and Rengoku was looking for an in to break it down.
When the first move finally came, the fight was on and fast like two animals in the wild - instinct, raw strength and experience meshing into one. The teacher first feinted and immediately went for Akaza’s leg, knocking him off balance and gripping him by his robe, attempting a throw to the ground. The professional fighter quickly defended himself, getting the hands off in a swift movement and kicking Rengoku away, directly in the chest.
As the blond caught his breath, Akaza lunged with an assault of punches which Rengoku blocked with his arms, wincing and grunting at every hit.
When Akaza stopped for just a second to redirect the blows to his sides, the teacher immediately seized his opportunity to trap the other man in a headlock; despite his precarious place underneath a heavier man, he nonetheless managed to quickly turn around until he was straddling his back, and still choking him out.
He thought to himself that he had been right to assume the pro seemed to leave his neck and back unguarded most of the time, and a rush of excitement washed over him. Not every day did he get to overpower an MMA champion.
Almost subconsciously, he realized the students had stopped what they were doing to look, in awe at their seemingly goofy teacher managing to put down someone like Akaza. If he looked back, he would've also noticed Hakuji, slack jawed at the sight.
But he was taken out of those thoughts as he flew head first to the matted floor, knocking his face against it roughly and screaming in pain. Akaza had made a quick movement upwards with his entire lower body that he had too distracted to predict. Dazed from the pain and surprise, he couldn't even defend when the other man grabbed his arm and held it against his back. With his other powerful, calloused palm, he was now retaliating and choking him instead.
His initial adrenaline filled pride washed away by an intense feeling of humiliation.
After a couple futile attempts at breaking out of the lock, he growled low in the back of his throat, and slapped the mat with his free hand.
“I give!”
His arm was let go, but the hand around his neck only released the hold after a couple seconds, and he could’ve sworn he heard the pink-haired man chuckle, or maybe even coo, when he finally did.
(That definitely also fed into his humiliation, but, for some reason, for a second, he felt butterflies in the pit of his stomach at it.)
The rest of the class transpired quickly and without any bumps in the road; though he did receive a lot of flack from the Hashibira boy about losing. His other students, though, clamored and congratulated him in putting up such a good fight. Even Hakuji gave him a subtle thumbs up when nobody was watching.
Through it all, he fervently avoided looking Akaza in the eye. He had bowed to him after getting up from the fight, and admitted to his strength. Rengoku was a mature adult, but something about this man, and this fight, had left his entire head and body in disarray.
But, on a subconscious level, he felt as though meeting that golden gaze would make him spontaneously combust.
But even so, when the scheduled time of the classes ran its course, the teachers and students bid Hakuji and Akaza goodbye, and followed Koyuki back to the dressers to change back.
Just as they were opening the doors to leave, they heard loud footsteps making their hurried way towards the entrance/exit area, and a huffing Akaza smacked the door open.
“Just one second! I’ve got… something for the boar hat boy,” the MMA fighter grinned awkwardly at the teacher, then looked back at the kids and Mitsuri behind him. “Y’all can go ahead, I’ll just take a minute.”
Rengoku raised an eyebrow but nonetheless turned to him, looking over at Mitsuri and nodding. When they were gone, he finally looked directly into those golden eyes.
He swallowed down the various feelings that had been smothering him for the past hour. “An autograph, I assume? You could’ve given it to him earlier…!”
“Huh? Oh,” Akaza fumbled in his sweatpant pockets for a piece of paper. “Yeah, of course. Give me a minute.”
The professional fighter thoughtlessly handed him the little piece of paper with his signature while still looking for a pen, grabbing a backpack from the floor. He found a small photograph of himself holding a champion’s belt and began scribbling.
“This one’s for you, though, Kyojuro,” he said, grinning, and gave it to him.
Rengoku dumbly looked down at the two things in his hands. The piece of paper looked like an old receipt. The photo, though, seemed high quality. Recent. When he turned it around, there was a phone number, and a winky face.
“You’re a damn good fighter, Kyojuro. You should think about becoming a pro… Though, if I can’t fight you in the ring,” he purred, leaning down so he could meet the teacher’s downward gaze, and smirked toothily, “I’d gladly do it somewhere else.”
With that, the pink haired man twirled around and left, hands in his pockets.
Rengoku wasn't combusting, but he definitely was somewhere close to it.
He shakily pocketed the picture and made his way outside, ignoring Mitsuri’s questioning gaze when she noticed his burning red cheeks.

what are ur doukaza headcanons :3
i feel like this ship is a wholeeeee can of worms LOL
i've always viewed it as a crackship, like as someone who adores koyuki and how meaningful she is for hakuji and what he becomes as akaza, i kinda have to separate it in my head as like. hakuji x koyuki, my beloveds they own my heart i would die for them <3 and douma x akaza...... my worsties my behateds they've gotten divorced 4 times <3 i think their dynamic is endlessly entertaining so the goofy goblin in my brain decided it would be Funny If They Kissed As A Joke one day and it ended up spiraling into them being my current fav crackship T-T
ANYWAYSSS. have some headcanons if you survived my nonsense blurb, imma put em under the cut cuz this is too long already lol
-i crank up their height difference and hc douma as 6'4 & keep akaza at 5'8. Big Goofy & Small Cranky is peak
-dodo is touchy feely. if akaza's waist not meant to be grabbed.. why so grabbable??
-i will say even though he's touchy feely everything spoicy between em is fully consensual, i see a lot of nc with them but i've never seen them that way
-akaza fights the mild fondness he has for dodo for a long ass time cuz he finds him so fuckin annoying. in a moment of weakness he cracks a smile at some dumb shit douma says and then they smooch the end
-douma really likes akaza's tattoos. he'll trace them with his fingers a lot, he likes the contrast of them against akaza's skin
and in my extremely delulu world: (blame ao3 for this)
-douma gains the Feels because of their eventual closeness. they are Sad Boys but they are sad together so it's ok
-dodo says a lot of loveydovey stuff but akaza doesn't voice much in return. it doesn't bug dodo though, cuz his actions say enough

au where Koyuki never liked Natsuki ..??
yk I feel a little uneasy, feeling like I'm cheating on Kotaro (sorry if I found this and is sharing on their honeymoon lmao) and Ryou with this, but omg !!! This artist is sooo amazing. It feels like a legit HoneyWorks mv, and this masterpiece would make every KoyuHina shipper rejoice.
(I'm gonna ramble and philosophize next about canon and their respective partners for my own sanity because this mv is so good it's as if KoyuHina was endgame, so do as you please lol)
I still love how KoyuHina had a bittersweet ending that is so relatable for people like me. I'm so much like Hina in my experience, and perhaps as I accepted that I couldn't be with (any of) my Koyuki(s)- one is my first love with the same personality as him while the other is my senior at Church, I grew to appreciate her unconditional love, and Koyuki's genuine kindness towards her even without feelings of romantic love. Real thing is, not everyone who loves can be loved back because being loved back is just a bonus as it is unconditional. They'd probably end up with someone you never know who is totally random in your perspective, or you with someone you never expected would make you happy.
I mean, I'm not a kid who'd fight a work of love for a non-canon ship just because they are happily married or (as of 2024) has been liking someone else (aka "canon"). I am a non-canon shipper too, and I understand it so much. However, this is just my take in canon, and why I love that it went that way.
Anyway, fanon KoyuHina my beloved!!! The nods to previous songs and that Hanipre event is legit dedication. I love it sm!! They're like Duan Jiaxu x Sang Zhi from Hidden Love (or Jiaxu x Zhi are them, but endgame)!!

Me: I am going to work on Single Dads and Fake Marriage AUs
Evil Me: oh so we're making fankids?
Me: what? NO! I'm finishing FM AU art wips and either ch 2 or a one shot for SD!
Evil: gotcha, timeline for Usatello Single Dads AU, research yokai, amphibians and birds of Japan, rabbit breeds and size of litter to roll die on how many kids the couples will have, look up kanji for names...
Me: no, No, NOOOOOOOOOO
This image contains the Usatello kids planning but the back of the papers has TomoSagiMariKen kid plannings and Next Gen AU stuff
I used a dice roller and random name picker to choose how many kids, what bio parents(for UY Fake Marriage AU), what gender, species the kids are, then for their names
Fake Marriage AU;
TomoSagi Kid, either a cat or rabbit, leaning towards cat, son, either has fur pattern/coloring like Swiss Fox or Tan Rabbit, Swiss Fox because i made Tomoe a Somali Cat which are called Fox Cats sometimes and Tan because of Tomoe's pretty fur colors.
MariKen Kids, plural, son and daughter, hija has Kenichi head, eyes, and ears, Mariko hair, eye shape and nose. Hijo has Kenichi eye shape, nose, chin, Mariko's face, ears and eyes. Haven't decided which kid yet but one will have Himalayan or Californian fur pattern and the other piebald/broken fur pattern
Oh I should also mention that my evil genius brain had me researching Renaissance artists and artists of art movements that came after the Renaissance AND Surrealism because Frida Kahlo was considered part of that art movement and there was word that the Rise!Turtles missing sister would have had that name
Usatello Single Dads AU
Waffling between artist names, Japanese names, or flower names(Usagi likes nature and Donnie has a passion for botany; still has a theme to follow but it isn't artist name this time)
Random name picker rmy beloved/beloathd
So I always had plans for turtle/rabbit hybrid because heheh fusion go brrr, particularly a daughter that's named after Inazuma's 'dead' name Tomiko
And then I saw @/quartergremlin had the galaxy brain idea of including PSDD as one of Donnie's kids and redesigning it so I rolled a die for how many kids, then put in all bio, all adoptees, psdd and bio, psdd and adoptees
P.S.D.D and adoptees won, so then I went to yokai.com to see what they got to get the ideas flowing, put birds I was thinking of making ocs with and basing Rise! Karasu-tengu off of
Ended up with a hane-no-haeta kappa kid and a Daruma Pond Frog kid, adopted son and daughter respectively
Usagi came across the kappa boy on one of his misadventures and Donnie came across the frog girl in the Hidden City
P.S.D.D uses ve/vir/vis pronouns (because it sounds a lil like virus which ve finds hilarious)
D.D.'s design is based off of Don's fantasy mech from Down With The Sickness and tmnt 2012&2003 Fugitoid
But then I got attached to the flower names, especially the poisonous ones so Middle Name Time!!!
Tomiko Amaryllis Hamato-Miyamoto (iiii don't think amaryllis were in my poisonous list but they were in my Victorian era/hanakotoba flower language list I think)
Shigeru Larkspur Hamato-Miyamoto (the kappa child, Shigeru is made up of either the kanji for Rabbit[ie Usagi] or lapis lazuli and something else i can't remember off the top of my head)
{Mountain} Laurel Koyuki Hamato-Miyamoto (Donnie named her because He's Extra, and she didn't have a name as an orphan street rat, lil iffy about her middle name, thinking of keeping the flower middle name thing but Shelldon/P.S.D.D/Jotaro dont have one and her name is ks already a flower sooooo...)
D.D. and Tomiko have already been designed and have color palettes everyone else is still in the works...
#ay speaka#anyway*blows up*#may instead use artist names for caprilnardo kid(s?)#usatello single dads au#usagi yojimbo fake marriage au#Laurel is a partially based off the frog bride yokai#but shes just a yokai not a Yokai(tm)#the difference in riseverse imo is BigMama/BaronDraxum/Mayhem are Yokai and yokais like the police officers and the Mud Dogs are yokai#regular folks aside from the fact they're not human#Yokai are of course traditional japanese yokai but also other creatures of myth and legend#i imagine witches are a weird inbetween and higly debated on whether theyre Yokai because of mystics and mythos or yokai because#its a learned art

🌲My "Little Trees" Appreciation Post🌲
Was your favorite character barely in the story but still made a lasting impact on you? Do you feel your favorite character is underrated and/or forgotten and deserves more love, recognition, and attention? Then, they might just be a "Little Tree!" 🌳
🌲What is a "Little Tree"?
A "Little Tree" is not a main character, not a main supporting character, and, in most cases, not even a supporting character but rather a tiny side character who was barely there--like a little tree in the background of the main, overarching storyline--but who still made an impression and is important to you.
🌲What's so special about "Little Trees"?
Though seemingly unimportant in the grand scheme of the main character's overarching storyline, "Little Trees" are often unique and dynamic characters who left an impression great enough to be remembered despite their lack of "screentime"
"Little Trees" are often forgotten or overlooked for the Forest (overarching plot) or the Big Trees (main and main supporting characters), but they deserve love and attention too!
🌲Why the term "Little Tree"?
I have always gotten attached to small side characters, and “My Little Trees" is the term that my friends, sisters, and I use to refer to them in real life. (A/N: It's a long running joke and my friends seem to really like it. I've been gifted grow your own tiny bonsai tree kits and a "I just really love trees" shirt with small trees on it from them 😂). It has long been a part of my vernacular, and I realized recently I've been using it on my blog with no explanation so consider this an explanation post.
🌲How can I tell if my favorite character is a "Little Tree"?
The definition "Little Tree" is fairly broad and very relative so there are many characters who can fit in that category. You can have a little tree who is unimportant in the main character's arc or in the grand scheme of the overarching plot of a story but who is important in a particular storyline whether that be a plot arc or character arc (i.e. Finesse Calmreich is integral to Finral and Langris' arcs in Black Clover, but they are themselves side characters which makes Finesse a side, side character and not important to Asta's arc as the protagonist. Meredy was relatively important in the Tenrou Island/Grimoire Heart arc and showed up a couple more times in other important story arcs in Fairy Tail, but she wasn't that important to the overarching plot of the series as a whole).
Other good ways to figure out whether a character is a "Little Tree" are to count either:
How many pages, chapters, episodes or arcs that character appears in (i.e. Solidad (Saori) appears in just 4 episodes of Pokémon. One of which is just a cameo, but she is still my favorite Pokémon character of all time [A/N: I actually cosplayed her at a convention once. No one knew who I was though])
OR
The degrees of separation from the protagonist (i.e. in Black Clover, David Swallow is on the same squad as Yuno who is best friends/rivals with Asta)
Note: ocassionally, a character who should likely fit the definition of a "Little Tree" is so beloved by the fandom that you don't feel as personally compelled to show or garner appreciation for that character. That character can still be your "Little Tree" if you want. 🌳
What is most important is your own personal feelings surrounding this character. Only you can decide how much of a "side character" a character must be in order to be one of your "Little Trees." It's very intuitive.
🌲Which characters are examples of "Little Trees"?
I have included several of my own "Little Trees" on the banner for this appreciation post, but I have many more and there are even more than that in every fandom!
Some examples I've included are:
(A/N: organized by fandom and not an exhaustive list by any means)
Black Clover: David Swallow, Dominante Code, Fanzell Kruger, Finesse Calmreich, & Letoile Becquerel
Danganronpa: Leon Kuwata
Demon Slayer: Koyuki, Makomo, Sabito, Senjuro Rengoku, & Shoiichi
Fairy Tail: Blue Pegasus [Hibiki Lates, Ren Akatsuki, Eve Tearm, Jenny Realight, & Ichiya Vandalay Kotobuki], Meredy, Milliana, Minerva Orland, Sho, Wally Buchanan, & Yuri Dreyar
Fullmetal Alchemist: Denny Brosh, Major Miles, Maria Ross, & Rebecca Catalina
My Hero Academia: Emi Fukukado (Ms. Joke)
Pokémon: Solidad (Saori), Nicholai (Kiyo), & Christopher (Yusaku)
🌲What can I do to champion my "Little Trees"?
Spread awareness and appreciation for your favorite "Little Trees," especially the ones you feel could use more love. Sometimes it is up to you to make sure your "Little Trees" get the appreciation and attention they deserve. Create posts or content about them, request that content be made about them, tell your friends about them, scream into the void about them if necessary or just love them enough for an entire fandom in your heart. 💚
I try to use this blog and my writing to champion the "Little Trees" everywhere so please feel free to drop by any time to talk about your favorite "Little Trees." If you don't have any, I'm happy to share some of mine with you! 🌲 All posts about "Little Trees" will be tagged accordingly using the “My Little Trees” and/or “Little Tree Appreciation” Tag. If requests for "Little Tree" content come in, they will also be tagged as "Little Tree Champion” in your honor. Thank you!
🌳Cheers, Little Tree Champions! 🌳

Alright expanding on Hunger games AU please please PLEASE tell me how you felt while watching Akaza’s game and Victory Tour before your own game the year after. I’d like to know how he approaches you as your mentor before your first interview when you REALLY get to interact with him
Listen LISSEN!
Okay we're in the same district so I've seen him around, he's huge and loving to what seems to be his girlfriend and if not girlfriend someone he's hella sweet on, Koyuki. Which he placed his name into the draw for extra cash countless times so he isn't surprised to be called up for the culling.
But by this point there are rumors going around that Koyuki just died not too long ago.
He doesn't speak in interviews and straight into the games he makes quick work of destroying the other tributes. The fastest games to date. He was truly a demon to anyone who crossed his path and he chose to go without using a weapon because Hakuji IS THE WEAPON. His only vice is violence now. Not when he has nothing to love for and even after the games he's still numb to it all. Still in shock from hearing how his beloved died. All because there was a delay in the approval for the shipment of medicine Akaza paid for once in cash and now in blood.
And his victory interview sent CHILLS down the whole nation's spine, so much so that President Muzan doesn't allow Akaza in the city, even when the victors are called back for the 75th games, the interviews are pushed to be held just outside the capital.
And Akaza only answered one question in that interview
Since he's the only living victor for our district he must now serve the duty of training people for the games, a job he's less than enthusiastic about. I'm the unfortunate soul to be drafted in a game right after his. I'm built like an ox but thinking I'm for sure going to die but of course I'd rather die than let them get away unscathed.
Akaza is a quiet mentor, he watches and his eyes are just as intense, if not more, as they are on TV. He's tall, muscular and looks much more put together than the other victors, some who openly drink and rub diluted tracker jacker venom into their gums. I figure he'll focus on the guy who's been drafted with me but instead he's interested in me. Watching me with his too cold gaze and disapproving sneer which of course strikes my ire.
