Summary: Abaddon and her entourage have struck once again. The second wealthiest group in Gotham has decided to throw the best party. Unlike other people, the man and wife love to show off their riches. Unfortunately, Abaddon and her husband discovered the Gates were showcasing their diamonds and a bunch of other valuables. Abaddon and her team wish to take those items and melt them down to create a weapon. Once you and the Titans discovered what the enemy was planning, you immediately knew what to do.

[Third Person View]

Bruce Wayne stood in front of the large monitor, his hands clasped behind his back. The man watched the security footage over and over again to try and figure out who had broken into the new bank on fourth street once again. He sighed in frustration and ran a hand over his face. The glow of the explosion lit up the screen as the footage repeated with a click of a button.

Bruce backed up and leaned against the edge of the counter, he waved to Essie one more time; telling her to repeat the footage. Essie pushed her pink hair to the side and clicked the button another time, she sighed in annoyance and rested her chin on the palm of her hand. Dick Grayson sat on the chair beside Essie, watching Abaddon and her crew break into the bank.

Y/N Y/L/N walked into the control room wearing a pair of comfy clothes: marine green sweatpants, a sweatshirt from her favorite tv show, and a pair of dark grey fuzzy socks with little Nightwing doodles on them. The Y/H/C girl leaned against the door frame of the room with a cup of coffee in hand. She took a sip of the caramel flavored coffee and cleared her throat. Dick, Essie and Bruce looked up at the sound of Y/N.

"Find anything?" asked Y/N, throwing the empty coffee cup into the trashcan.

"Not yet," Dick said and rose up from the chair, walking over to his girlfriend. He draped an arm over Y/N's shoulder and kissed the side of her neck, Y/N smiled and leaned her head against Dick's shoulder. "But were close," Essie added. Bruce switched to Abaddon and her husbands profile. "This psychopath was bailed out of prison by her husband, Ricky Rivera. I've searched every database in Gotham and can't find anything on them. The police database has lost all of there security footage of what these two bitches have done," Essie explained, pointing to the two pictures.

"Then how come we have it?" Y/N asked, lifting her head up from Dick's shoulder. Bruce smiled and grabbed a glass of water from the pitcher at the back. Essie turned off the screen, switching to the map of the city. "Thanks to Gar's excellent tech skills, we were able to grab all of the footage before it was deleted," Bruce said. He took a sip of his water then wiped the rim with a towel. "Lucky for us...." Essie trailed and grabbed five folders, "We were able to track down where Abaddon and Ricky are headed to next."

Essie and Bruce called the rest of the team, they all stood in a circle around a table that overlooked the city. The tall skyscraper where the party was being held sat in the middle of Gotham's map. Essie Y/L/N brought down a red virtual dot so it hovered over the buildings. "This is where the party will be held. Now, there are suspicions that Abaddon and her 'pose' will be there later tonight," Kory said, standing beside Essie. "So, what's the catch?" Jason inquired and crossed his arms.

"Abaddon has a tender spot for jewels and or shiny things. The Gates - which is the family that is hosting this hell of a plaza - have a whole museum dedicated to their prized possessions from their adventures when they were younger," Essie explained. "Why would they just display all of this stuff? They're just asking for people to steal them," Rachel said.

"Bragging rights?" Gar suggested, shrugging his shoulders. Essie pulled up the floorplan of the building where the gala was. They all looked at the house, scanning over each of the rooms. "Now, here's where everyone will be," Essie pointed to a large room, "And here's where Abaddon will be." Y/N's sister was able to hack into the live camera footage of the glamorous party the Gates were hosting.

Large glass cases held multiple intriguing tiaras, necklaces, historic pieces, masks from the stone age, and different drawings from the Egyptian era. Each glass case had little locks on the back, impossible to unlock even if you had the right technology. Essie zoomed in and pointed to the locks. "These are high end security systems, they had to pay a fortune to get these installed," she commented, chuckling to herself.

"So, what's the mission?" Y/N asked, crossing her arms.

"Those files that we gave you explain everything," Bruce said. Jason, Gar, Rachel, Dick and Y/N all pulled out the yellow colored folders that Essie handed them. "Y/N, Dick you two will be undercover policemen who are there to protect the items. Your cover names and stories are listed in the files," Bruce said, "Rachel, Gar, and Jason, you three will be the children of a popular and well respected business man who could not be at the gala. You're names and descriptions are in the files." The five of them nodded along to Bruce's explanation.

"Bruce, Kory and I will be here on the coms at all time, making sure you're alright and sticking to the plan," Essie said. With a flick of her hand, the maps disappeared. Kory handed them each a device that would wrap around their wrists. "These are transparent transmitters, those will help us contact you. The walls at the Gates household are laced with led, that prevents any contact outside those walls," Kory explained.

Essie handed them each a little patch to put on the back of the ear, "That should help you hear us at all times." Dick pushed Y/N's hair to the side and helped her put the small grey and black patch behind her ear. The electric patch blended to her skin color so it was invisible to the eye.

"You start the mission in about an hour in a half, we'll have a debrief ten minutes until you'll need to leave," Bruce said. They all nodded and headed towards their rooms to prepare themselves for the mission to stop Abaddon and Ricky.

[Time Skip: 20 minutes later]

The crew stood in the large garage that held multiple expensive, exotic, and beautiful vehicles. Y/N and Dick stood beside a black and blue police car they would be using for their mission. Jason leaned up against the long white limo while Gar sat on the back of the car beside him. Rachel stood in the middle of Essie and Kory. "Alright," Essie sighed, "We all good with the instructions?"

Everyone nodded.

"Contact us if anything happens," Bruce said. Y/N and Dick hopped into the police car while Kory followed Gar, Rachel and Jason into the limo. Kory was to act as the limo driver, but stay in the alleyway a couple blocks away from the Gates party just in case something were to happen. Y/N set her radio into the handle at the middle of the console. "Gar, Rachel, Jason? How's it going?" Y/N questioned after pressing the middle button of the radio.

"Going pretty good," Rachel replied, "We'll stay in contact." Dick and Y/N nodded as if the three teens could see their faces. The two of them finally reached the tall silver skyscraper. Windows upon windows aligned the sides of the building, some were lit others were pitch black. Y/N and Dick could hear people chuckling from outside their car. Party guests had drinks in their hands, they danced to the slight hum of the jazz music.

Dick parked in an alleyway beside the skyscraper. The couple stepped out of the police car. Y/N Y/L/N quickly locked the door to the vehicle before the two of them made their way into the building (GIF Above).The two security guards stood at the front of the metal double doors, arms crossed; they're feet pointing ahead of them.

Both of the men wore black sunglasses with their hair tucked underneath black caps. Y/N and Dick walked through the entrance you, they flashed their 'badges' so the officers were aware. Y/N glanced down at her watch and saw two small male faces pop up on the screen.

"Those two men at the front, they're apart of Abaddon's group, you'll have to keep a special eye on them," Essie said, her voice erupting from the com system.

Dick and Y/N nodded slightly, carefully that the two undercover members didn't see their motion. As the two lovers walked into the gala, they could hear a slight radio interference occur on the com system. "What was that?" Gar asked, worried at the new sound that had happened. "Don't worry," Kory said, "Since you've entered the walls that are laced with led, it'll interfere with the com system."

Rachel sat in the middle of Gar and Jason. Her light purple sparkly dress cascaded down the side of the chair, the slit of the dress opened so people could see her knee high black boots. Gar and Jason both wore classic black suits; however, Garfield wore a green tie to match his green hair and Jason wore a red bow tie. Jason claimed he wished to be a 'trendsetter'. He smiled to himself. 'I look so good,' he thought to himself.

Kory sat in the limo with a tablet on her lap, the windows of the limo were tinted so nobody could look inside it. Her maroon colored hair was tied into a bun so her little curls wouldn't fall in her face. Kory had three tablets: one for tracking the team, one for looking over to the map and one to contact the team or where Abaddon and Ricky were.

Dick and Y/N split up half way, Y/N Y/L/N stood at one of the walls across from her boyfriend. Her arms stayed crossed as she scanned over the room to try and find Abaddon and Ricky. "Jason, Gar, Rachel? How's it looking?" Dick asked, making eye contact with Y/N. "All good here, you?" Rachel replied. Detective Dick Grayson looked up and saw Abaddon extending down the stairs with Ricky's arm linked with hers.

The woman's black hair was in a slicked back pony tail, she wore a red jumpsuit with gold heels. Ricky wore a black suit with a matching bow tie, his hair was was slicked back as well. "I see them," Dick said, he continued to look at Y/N until she noticed. The Titans waited for Bruce, Kory and Essie to tell them what to do next.

"Wait to interact, we don't want to blow our cover," Bruce said into the com, his voice laced with intensity. Y/N slightly nodded her head then put her hands into the pockets of her jeans, making sure her gun was in its holster. She tilted her head to the right slightly, using her super hearing to hear what Abaddon and Ricky. "They're here, the Titans," Ricky said, his Russian accent shining through his words.

"Fuck," Y/N muttered, "We didn't need to blow our cover, they've figured it out."

The Start (1)

The Flame Within The Ice

'You need to always remember that the powers we go to are meant to be hidden away. No one should ever know about them, no matter what. Grimoire, do you hear me?!'

' Grimoire baby, you know why I called you Grimoire? In our family tree, we had witches who worked to gain the powerful book of the summoning spirits called the Grimoire a long time ago. While you are not the book, we have a special connection toward the beyond. We do not practice the craft, but we have been passed down powers from our ancestors. We carry the fire that burns throw our vain and the Ice that helps us calculate every move. We are special. You are special, Grim.'

' Grimoire Im sorry it has to be like this. We, I can't keep on protecting you like this. You will end up dead. I'll leave you here where you are safe with Viena.'

" Grimoire, It's time to get up!" Yelled a prominent voice that sounded like a middle-aged woman. It was relatively early in the morning. The people that were up at this time were ready to leave home, kissing their spouse goodbye and their kids, and good luck at school. Children waking up at this time, getting ready with their book bags, and eating their breakfast remains to catch the bus.

" Dammit, this child. Grimoire Vi llan, Get your damm ass up before I do something. You won't even see it coming." The women shouted again. After a few minutes, a five-foot-six androgynous-looking teen came downstairs. " Grim, you can't keep on doing this. I got work, and I have bills to pay."  The women complain, rushing around the kitchen still not looking at the teen. When she turned around, she noticed the rather ghostly pale-looking skin from the teen.  She sighed, giving Grimoire a sad smile. " I made you your favorite pancake pb&j." She said, trying to get a reaction from the teen.

Not moving from his place, Grimoire chewed on his lips, picking on the skin of his nails. His long wavy hair was hidden under a crochet beanie that he had done in his free time. The average height teen wore a thin black long-sleeved shirt with a soft blue crocheted vest on. His pants were just some regular vintage denim jeans with some classic black Chuck Taylor shoes.

Grimoire shifted from one leg to another with his weight. His bag resting wine red canvas backpack rest on his left shoulder. He felt uncomfortable with the silence. Thankfully, His aunt Viena didn't ask any questions but gave him a comforting hug, but to him, it felt like that night he was tensed. " You look just like your mother and your father. It's almost surreal. They would be so proud to see you grown up like this." Viena was the sister of Grimoire's father. She was always there, and when his parent died from the accident, she took him in with open arms.  

" Morie, I know you don't think you can trust in yourself. But it is not your fault. Thorn and Golgotha Would never fault you for something you can't control yet." Viena said, cupping Grimoire's face. Viena lost in Grimoire's eyes the same eyes as her big brother's icy blue and fiery red eyes.  Viena held herself from shedding a tear. Lucky to hear the alarm of the bus coming soon rang, she cleared her throat and gave her nephew a smile. "I'll pack you your pancake. You should be ready. If you are missing something, go get it." Viena said, going to pack the pancake in a sandwich bag and putting it inside a paper bag. Viena came back to Grimoire, who was standing at the doorsteps. She handed Grimoire his paper bag and said her goodbyes. Viena stood at the doorstep, seeing her brother's baby walking away.

Grimoire took out some gloves his father had given him to help maintain his power from spiking out. Of course, his body emitted different temperatures, and he could easily adjust to any temperature. It was pretty gray outside, even for an early morning. The fallen dead leaf scattered around the neighborhood made it even more unsettling like always. Grimoire turned on his headphones, turning on his walkman playing the first song suggested Sowing Season by Brand New.

The soft guitar filling up his ears and the words filling his mind. His mind being transported to a reality of tranquility and peace. Grimoire closed his eyes, breathing in deep the clean air that cleansed his revolting mind. His right hand resting on his backpack band while his left hand is inside his pants pocket. Mumbling some words from the lyrics, he opened his eyes to see himself getting closer to the school bus stop.

Grimoire's eyes landed on the teenager he sees every day. The girl had pale skin, her hair colors dark purple. She seems to use the same outfit or at least the same shade of clothes every day. Ultimately Grimoire has come to an unspoken agreement with the girl. The two were outcasts, laughed at, and if anybody did something to stop it, they would get hurt.  In conclusion, the two stuck a bit together if they could, like in the school bus sitting together, in class, if they could.

When the bus arrived, it was already packed with other students. Grimoire let the girl in first. He followed right behind, seeing the mess of a bus it was. He took a seat next to the girl keeping his distance yet close enough to not fall out of the uncomfortable love seat. The girl leaned on the window, looking out it was comfortable, nobody talking well except the kids from the back. Every time Grimoire turned to give the girl a side look, he couldn't help but admire her despite the shit she had to take in school. She doesn't flatter behind. She just keeps ongoing. The silence was pleasant until one of the kids teased us got between us from the chair behind.

"Boo!" The boy laughed, leaning close to the girl. "Come on. What are you hiding from?" He asked rather intrusively. He turned to look at Grimoire with a smirk " How about you? Are you some type of cult?" Grimoire could hear his buddies laughing, not really trying to play it off.

"You don't have to be shy with me." The boy said mockingly, leaning toward the girl said. Grimoire chewed on the inside of his cheek. He slowly reached to grab the girl's hand, squeezing it lightly to reassure her that it would be over soon. " I like freaks." He said, leaning closer to the girl. Grimoire could feel the girl squeezing his hand back as she turned her head away from the creep leaning toward her. "No? Well, maybe you would take the offer." The boy said with a sly tone, leaning toward Grimoire, who tilted his head down to avoid looking at the harasser.

Before the boy to lean any closer, a kid from the front with blond hair turned back, and with courage and tiredness, he said, " Leave them alone, Kyle." The attention from the three was brought to the blond boy named Matt. It was rare to see somebody trying to stand up for any of us. Matt was a student and part of the football team. "Don't you have a touchdown or something to throw, Matt?" Kyle said like it was a big insult or something. Matt stood up from his seat, facing toward the three of them. " Just leave them alone, asshole."

Grimoire and the girl looked rather worried that something could break out just because of them.  "Before I make you." The two boys stood front to front from each other. The tiny walkway didn't help create space. Kyle shoved Matt backward " Maybe you should take a seat." Kyle said with a smirk. Of course, Matt wouldn't back down repeating Kyle's shove but with a bit more force. The kids had their eyes on the two boys, who were now throwing punches at each other. Some kids were encouraging the fight. Grimoire let a shaken breath out while the girl looked at the two fightings wanting to do something to help the fight stop. "Sit back down! Both of you! Now!" The bus driver yelled as he drove. The two boys pulled away, panting hard while glaring at each other. The rowdy kids encouraging the fight were disappointed the two had stopped fighting.

When the two broke apart before Kyle sat down, he menacingly leaned toward us. "Sluts" He said, very pronounced. Kyle turned away to sit on his seat. The girl turned to look out to the window while Grimoire sighed, taking his hand away from the girl's hand. His head lowered in humiliation.

Grimoire and the girl got out together when they got to school, walking inside the school building. The two had a locker on the opposite side of the hallways.  Grimoire stuffed his book into his locker, seeing a picture of his parent on the locker's door. He felt a wave of guilt, sadness, and anger. He didn't understand why couldn't he had been born without these powers. Why couldn't he be like his aunt, as his mom? Normal. Grimoire turns to the side as he heads his bus companion speak up, " Uh.Matt.Thanks for..."  The group of boys just bypass her with no second look. The girl turns to look up at Grimoire. He could only offer her a small ghost smile before she turned away.

He sighs, closing his locker. The girl had come to his side of the locker before offering him a small smile. She took Grimoire's hand " Thank you for sticking with me." She said shyly. Grimoire felt his heart race avoiding her face finding his shoes much more interesting. " No problem." He let out in a whisper. "Rachel. My name is Rachel Roth. Im sure you heard it from the teachers, but. I think a bit of a formal introduction is better." The girl now named Rachel introduced herself. Grimoire's eyes slowly scan from bottom to top Rachel, who was holding his mitted hand. " Grimoire. Grimoire Vi llan. Nice to meet you, Rachel Roth."  Grimoire returned the gesture of politeness. His voice, airy yet melodious, reached Rachel's ears, who had a faint blush on growing.

The bell brought them out from the special moment. What they didn't know is that from there, nothing would be the same.

Hi Cods!

I got inspired by your reply to my ask to talk about an au that I've kinda started writing?

It's originally a Donna Troy x fem!OC, but since I found out that Jordan Kent is basically The CWs OC, who basically replaces Jon (which I will forever be mad about), I think I wanna change it.

I think it's gonna turn into a Donna Troy x Kory Anders, then eventual Donna x Dawn Granger? I still gotta think about it more, though.

Anyway, the OC (who was originally named Teagan, I totally forgot about the Teagan in S&L) whose new name is Nel (after a mutual of mine, they've always been so kind to me) and she's an artist, who is the lesbian aunt (adopted) to Jon and Jordan. She's closer to Jon since he's such a ray of sunshine, plus she was the first one he came out to. Then there's a knock on the door and it turns out to be Conner Kent, who says that he's Superman's son as well as Lex Luthor's. Well, Conner says that Dick wants both twins to come train at the Titans Tower. Clark and Lois says no, then Nel volunteers to go.

And that's all I have.

I think I'm gonna take a break and start the Donna Troy x Kory Anders au.

That sounds cool!! DickKory is my fav but I like DonnaKory too. They were cute together at the beginning of season 2.

I got so many aus lmao but Escapism and Solarshot are my main ones with actual storylines. I have a Titans/S&L oc too that I share with my friend, I gotta finish the fic I started about him 😅 he's got his own au too.

From a long line of metahumans, Nova knew from a young age to stay in the shadows and keep her abilities hidden. That didn’t stop her from sneaking out to do good, though, which lead to her encountering Robin, Hawk, and Dove, and joining the original Titans. After the split, she returns to Gotham while keeping in contact with Hank and Dawn, and ends up kidnapping/adopting a teenage metahuman runaway named Jayden. When the safe house she and Jayden are living in is attacked by an anti-metahuman group, her and Jayden flee to Hank and Dawn’s apartment, where Dick Grayson suddenly shows up with a girl Jayden’s in age in tow.

Growing up in Gotham’s foster system meant from an early age, Jayden knew how to use her powers to protect herself. When the social worker that was going to adopt her is killed during an attack by the Joker, she decides to run away entirely, encountering and living with two fellow runaway, Jason and Molly, for a couple years, until she saves Nova Payne’s life and basically gets kidnapped/adopted by her. Meaning to stay in contact as well as help out Jason and Molly, Jayden is forced to flee Gotham along with Nova, and ends up rooming with two old friends of Nova’s - until a man shows up suddenly with a teen around Jayden’s age in tow.
