Btw…………… I realize my gallery is full of just white ppl and !! This is my girl Korinna I love her we’ve been married for two years or so (I don’t remember when I created her lol) and I’ve been working on a proper ref for her for like. Two months.

Anyways I kinda wanted to talk about it and say that I still dont really feel confident with my ability to stylize fearures properly and not make them look too out of place in my style or too simple but I’m working on it hehe especially since I’d like to draw twst poc in flattering ways one day

Everett Ducklair must and will be punched in the face- a rant.

I wish we'll see the f*cked-up family- I, I mean the Ducklair family again in PKNE. Especially Solomon because I miss him. I kinda see Juniper and Korinna somehow regaining a telepatic link with each other through the 2 dimensions and Everett going to the place where an entrance can be opened- it'll be Duckburg because it's always Duckburg.

But what I really want to happen is that after shenanigans, they find a way to establish contact with Korinna and Solomon. Everett finds a way to get Korinna back but Solomon has to do *something* that will erase his core-programming (he dies basically). The Avenger is obviously against that. Everett doesn't understand and says something along the lines of: "it's an AI programmed to help me, if it dies saving my daughter then it fulfilled its function". And the Avenger turns around, punch him in the face, tells him if he ever says something like that again to Uno or Solomon he'll break his legs, and walks away. Everyone else is like °-°

Anyway, they eventually manage to get both Korinna and Solomon back and Everett sulks the rest of the comic.

I still haven't forgiven Everett for deactivating Uno, can you tell? I probably never will because I hate how he got away with it with hardly any consequences. I do like him, I swear. But if you hurt Uno I hurt you.

So, yeah, I want the Avenger to punch him in the face basically. I wish he could punch him for Uno specifically but that probably won't happen because Everett has never faced what he did, so the next best thing is getting punched because of his behavior towards his artificial sons as a whole.

Like if you also want Ducklair to get punched, I'm sure there are people as salty as me in this fandom.

Siblins: Korinna, Juniper and Eldos (plus very confused Uno).

Little background: this is based on PKNE #6: The Event Horizon, and on my own (unfinished) AU where Eldos Eidolon (Odin's future version) came to help Korinna so that she wasn't pulled into another dimension, and then they all just... bonded.

Here they are saying goodbyes, and Korinna, in a very "big-sistery" way, cannot resist to roughhouse him just a little bit before letting him go - all in good nature, of course. Juniper is holding Uno, since he's now considered as their baby-brother and the sisters have decided that he clearly needs some help to realize that Everett really isn't all that great in this parenting-thing as he still seems to think...

About my version of Eldos... He's much, much younger that Odin, about the same age as Korinna & Juniper (maybe little yonger?), and is officially known as his grand-nephew.

I was told by lilium2034 about his headcanon where Odin has one green and one red eye, due to his dualistic kind. I thought that was neat, but didn't really fit to my Odin. But when it comes to Eldos... Well, he's young and has a strong rebellious streak, especially in everything what comes to Everett (which is why he and Korinna get along so well from the very start!), so it would be just his style to add this little feature, just to remind their creator that "you really scewed up back then, didn't you?"

I took some inspiration into his clother from the armor Odin was wearing in PKNE #1: Might and Power.

Blippo Black is a Bauhaus-inspired font created in 1969 by Joe Taylor. It was based on David L. Burke's Burko (1967), which in turn was based on experimental alphabets of the Bauhaus school in the 1920s.

The goal of the Bauhaus design was minimalism -- reducing letters to simple geometric shapes. By far the most successful font built on Bauhaus principles is Futura (1927), which remains one of the most widely used fonts today.

The Bauhaus school was shut down in 1933 by the Nazis, who promoted the use of traditional German fraktur fonts, until in 1941 they suddenly changed their minds and declared that fraktur had been Judenlettern all along.

Joe Taylor, the creator of Blippo Black, went on to become a creationist paleontologist, and ran the Mt. Blanco Fossil Museum.

About 1979, while working on some projects about America's true, Christian heritage, I had the privilege of meeting with the "little ladies", as they were affectionately known. Verna Hall and Rosalie Slater published two thick volumes about Christian Self-Government, full of America's most profound documents. Despite their "grandmotherly" appearance they were historians in the extreme. They knew not only political history, but art history as well. In conversations with them it came out that I was the designer of a typeface called “Blippo Black” (1969). They perked right up when I told them my idea for the face had come from an unpublished design from the thirties originating in the German Bauhaus school. Oh, yes! They knew “all about” the decadence of pre-nazi, German culture, and how it led to Hitler's Third Reich! My design was not good, they would have me know. Witness the lack of serifs on the ascenders and descenders. This lack of "toes" on the letters was unacceptable, theologically. See, to a real, Christian presuppositionalist, nothing is secular. Even lettering design must be theologically “correct”. Better, they advised me, were the Roman classical letters such as Times Roman, commonly used for the copy in most newspapers. None of this pre-Nazi, sans-serif stuff!

The font on the Fossil Museum is Korinna, another pre-Nazi German design, but at least this one has serifs.

Joe Taylor died in 2023, and the museum was closed down.
