Hello! Do you happen to know if Kore Yamazaki runs any social networks or blogs?? I know that she has a Twitter, but it looks somehow untapped and... empty.

Hello! Yamazaki actually uses twitter a lot, mostly for tweets about her daily life, interests or her travels. Sometimes she also writes some facts (and since the hiatus "mini writings" #まほよめ小話) of Mahoyome, but she rarely posts drawings nowadays (Which actually breaks my heart. She has also been missing for a few days which is weird considering she is pretty active there).

She also has a Pixiv account (Yamao 山緒) but it's basically abandoned since the serialization of the manga.

Her blog is also kinda there, mostly for archiving. It doesn't seem active but one can send an email.

Hm, probably the Orphic fragment that says that Persephone was born with a monstrous appearance (fragment 87 according to Athanassakis, fragment 58 in the translation of Otto Kern’s compilation of fragments at HellenicGods.org):

…"of the daughter of Zeus, whom he begat of his mother Rhea; or of Demeter, as having two eyes in the natural order, and two in her forehead, and the face of an animal on the back part of her neck, and as having also horns, so that Rhea, frightened at her monster of a child, fled from her, and did not give her the breast (θηλη), whence mystically she is called Athêlâ, but commonly Phersephoné and Koré"…

It's so totally different from all other versions that only describe her as very beautiful (as goddesses tend to be). Sometimes I regret that I didn't give my Persephone horns.

Mary as Triple Goddess

‘As the virgin Sophia, Mary is even rather amazingly seen as a triple goddess, at once the Mary who is Jesus' mother, also her sister Mary, and Mary Magdalene, Jesus' sinful companion whom he nevertheless loved greatly. Here we probably have a direct transposition from the Mysteries like those of Eleusis, where the cultic goddess was represented both as earth-Mother (Demeter) and fertility-goddess (Koré, 'the Maiden'), and also in a dark aspect (Hecate, or Persephone "the destroyer' as death-goddess). Like the corn-god of Eleusis bringing the cultivation of wheat, so Jesus is also identified as the divinity who brought the true food to humanity - bread, which is consecrated in the eucharist (Saying 15).’

Enter Ria, a young scholar and adventurer eager to make her mark by uncovering the dead gods’ secrets, and Faziz, an outlaw and assassin who’s running an underground low-cost housing scheme. Both have their own reasons for meddling in Koré’s life. Neither expects to fall in love with him.

And love is a problem. Because they love him for him, which means his secret, scaled side keeps appearing whenever they’re nearby. he’s nearby. Try as he might, he can’t erect emotional barriers to keep them out. Os espinhos podem cortar JUDE, mas ao ser cortada ela tem acesso a memórias dos monstros e semideuses atingidos que faleceram.

JUDE é o fruto de uma escapada entre PERSÉFONE e um ator neozelandês conhecido por sua beleza angelical e a atuação mediana. Na época do relacionamento, a deusa usou a forma de uma mulher tailandesa para conquistar o coração do ator (que naquele ano foi eleito o homem mais sexy do ano). O romance durou menos de uma semana (tempo dos humanos), o suficiente para PERSÉFONE voltar ao submundo sem levantar suspeitas e pronta para reatar com HADES após uma (das milhares) briga.

Parte da gestação de JUDE foi no submundo, mas nasceu ela na primavera e foi despachada pela deus HÉCATE, a fim de evitar que rumores chegasse a HADES e a fúria do deus caisse sobre a menina.

E foi após isso que a história de JUDE de fato começa. Primeiro que o primeiro encontro com seu pai foi um DESASTRE, o homem estava em um novo relacionamento (com uma deusa aí) e vivendo em solo americano, foi seguindo os conselhos de seu novo amor que decidiu ~discretamente~ mandar a filha para uma casa adotiva. Para piorar, o colar (que continha uma flor rastreadora) que havia ganhado de KORÉ foi roubado na primeira semana por uma das cuidadoras.

Foi adotada aos 06 anos por um casal obcecados por veleiros e mar, e a partir disso que começou a ter sua vida normal...na medida do possível para uma semideusa. Coisas estranhas aconteciam frequentemente, mas sua beleza e personalidade magnética e contagiante de JUDE fazia com que as pessoas continuassem buscando sua atenção. Afinal, nascer na primavera a fez herdar os melhores aspectos de KORÉ.

As mudanças de humor (que curiosamente seguiam a mudança das estações) e as coisas "diferentes" que ela via cotidianamente colocaram um alerta na família sobre um possível transtorno mental. JUDE odiou isso, não queria ser esquisita, então sempre que possível ela mentia ou escondia as coisas que lhe aconteciam.

Tudo mudou drasticamente aos 14 anos, quando a estranha flor começou a persegui-la (ela realmente achou que estava louca) e uma garota esquisita decidiu que queria ser sua amiga (algo que JUDE totalmente rejeitou). Estava prestes a realizar o sonho de se tornar uma líder de torcida que acabou sendo atacada por um ...homem de olho salva por uma ...flor?? Nada fez sentido, até ter uma conversa com a garota estranha que a perseguia. Para os humanos, JUDE foi vítima de uma tentativa de sequestro e o acampamento surgiu como um retiro para crianças que sofriam com sofrimento mental. Curiosamente, o acampamento resultou em uma série de novos traumas e experiências de quase morte.

No acampamento viveu de tudo, sofreu com os treinos, fez xixi nas calças e quase morreu em sua primeira missão, sofreu bullying por ser bonita...duas vezes, graças aos filhos de Apolo encontrou a medicação ideal para suas mudanças de humor, perdeu uma irmã, perdeu uma amiga, foi rejeitada pela primeira vez, a flor que a perseguia se tornou sua arma favorita. Sobreviveu a tudo isso.

JUDE estava na pior quando recebeu o chamado de Dionísio, estava no processo longo de recuperação de um chifre, tinha acabado de perder o posto de destaque na equipe de cheerleaders por "falta de comprometimento" e estava tirando nota baixa na faculdade
