Very Easy and Simple Rangoli Designs
While Rangoli remains a cherished tradition, modern rangoli designs have evolved with contemporary trends. Today, people use innovative materials such as colored sand, glitter, and even paints. Digital Rangoli Designs patterns are also becoming popular, where designs are created virtually to share on social media platforms.

However, the heart of rangoli remains the same – it is an art form that brings people together, spreading joy and positivity. Whether you are an experienced artist or just starting, rangoli allows you to express creativity while honoring Tradition.

Hey just wanted to say I love your idea of mehndi colorwork. My sister and I talk a lot about doing something similar (though we have mostly drafted charts from kolam booklets so far, because non repeating patterns require so much reading as you go) so it's so exciting to hear someone actually trying to rep desi motifs in knitting. Look forward to updates as you explore!
P.S. On a completely different subject, if you're into lace, we really liked Sandhya S.' patterns.
Thank you 🥰 I appreciate the support and the hype.
Those designs you mentioned look lovely I wish you and your sister all the luck with that.
Right now I’m just trying to figure out and doodle the mehndi design.
It won’t be too elaborate because it’s my first time doing anything like this and I do need to be able to draw it out.
A mix of stuff I’ve seen on Pinterest and designs I’ve had done. I want it too look like a design I could and would want to have done.
I’ll probably show the design after I’ve finalised it and put it into a colour work chart.
I haven’t considered lace but I’ll give it a look 👍🏼
