▪︎Kokushibō may present himself as a stoic father, seemingly cold and unapproachable. But deep down, there would lie a deep affection for his child, even if he may not outwardly show it.
▪︎Being centuries old, living through countless battles and having endured countless battles and fights with a heart of stone in this harsh world, Kokushibō surprisingly had a tender side when it came to his child.
▪︎It was something he himself wouldn't have expected; starting a family was the last thing on his mind, yet here he was, nurturing and providing for both you and your little one.
▪︎Although Kokushibō seemed somewhat hesitant, he genuinely seemed relish the moments spent conversing with your baby. ▪︎ Tenderly holding the infant in his arms, cradling them and taking them to small walks, showing them the world outside.
▪︎You had observed numerous parents engaging in conversation with their infants, so it wasn't shocking for Kokushibo wanting to do the same. ▪︎What caught you off guard was how, unlike other parents who used a sweet tone and "baby talk" with their infants, your husband actually talked with your baby as if they were colleagues in a business meeting. His tone was softer, but his way of communicating remained serious—
"The demons are becoming less formidable compared to their previous state, they resemble nothing more than untamed beasts.. Is it not regrettable, c/n?"
*cue baby noises*
Tumblr media
▪︎Considering that your child was a half-demon, they would require human flesh to survive. For that, Kokushibō would seek out the finest humans, providing only the most exquisite flesh for his offspring. ▪︎In fact, he would also bring Marechi, as it posed no challenge for someone of his caliber. Occasionally, he would even bring the blood of an upper moon, ensuring the very best for his little one.
▪︎At night, when he takes on the responsibilities as the uppermoon one, he often has many obligations that keep him away. However, he will ensure that you and the baby are safe in secure quarters, under his watchful protection. ▪︎As a father and a husband, Kokushibō is incredibly devoted and protective of those he loves.
▪︎Soon, time would fly by, and your little one would soon transition from a baby to a child. You would notice Kokushibō becoming increasingly composed and even a bit stricter than they were in their infancy.
▪︎Kokushibō would have gotten clothes tailored specifically for them; the patterns would be similar to his own to symbolise that they were his child, along with a matching ponytail to his. [If the child happened to be a girl, I imagine her hairstyle resembling that of Uta or Akeno (his mother) as in a low ponytail, but ultimately, I think that would be up to you.]
▪︎It was a family legacy of his, amd although he had left it all behind long ago, the customs and values remained deeply ingrained in him.
▪︎Kokushibō would definitely introduce his child to the basics of swordsmanship early on, including a basic stance and how to correctly hold a katana.
▪︎And if the child happened to be interested in the art of the sword and aspired to be a samurai, he would undoubtedly feel a swell of pride in his heart. ▪︎ After all, it was only natural for them, being of his lineage, to be drawn to the art of wielding a sword.

Muzan X Little Sister Reader X Kokushibo Perfect Life
Tumblr media
Warning-CRINGE
Things to know-your Muzans little sister and later Kokushibo’s wife and your power immense telepathy and telekinesis
Since I was born my big brother always wanted to be my caretaker. I was always adventurous but since my big brother has his condition I’d always stay inside with him so he wasn’t lonely. When I turned 17 I refused to leave his side due to his illness getting worse. But that was back when we were humans. My big brother ate our parents because of my beauty they wanted to put me in the entertainment district. It angered my brother and he murdered our WHOLE family. Since then it’s always been me in my brother. I love to read, write, listen to music, and make my own kimonos. I was snapped out of my thoughts when my brother called for me. “(Y/n).” “Yes big brother? Do you need anything?”he looked at me. “Get ready. I have some servants I want you to meet.” I smiled “yes as you wish big brother!” I picked out my favorite kimono I made (https://www.pinterest.com/pin/509962357778109192/) and made my way to my brother. He sat on his thrown (Muzan Kibutsuji - Demon Slayer StickerPinterest) “now that we are all here let’s begin.” I stood by his side and noticed a man with 6 eyes and the symbol 1. ‘Who was this? He seems to be just staring at me. Oh no! Am I bleeding? Did I start my period and get blood all over my dress? No that’s not right I’m supposed to start in 2 weeks. Oh! Do I smell? Or have something on my face?’ I was snapped out of my thoughts when my brother said “(y/n). This is upper moon 1 Kokushibo, upper moon 2 Douma, and upper moon 3 Akaza. For now they are the start of the 6 upper ranks. Therefore they are my most powerful ones.” I nodded. “Who’s that?” I pointed at a woman with a biwa. “She’s upper rank. 4 to be precise.” I was about to say something but my brother said “the meeting is dismissed. Feel free to turn those you find strong and powerful into demons. Or devour them. As long as you find the blue spider lily.” ‘The blue spider lily? Oh I read about it in a book! Why does brother need it so bad?’
-Time Skip-
I put on a different kimono (Kimono, Yukata and RuqunPinterest) I was walking around at night seeing the beautiful river flow. I know brother hates it when I’m by myself. But I like my freedom. There was a slight breeze slowly going back. I felt like someone was watching me. “Who’s there?” I saw Kokushibo. “Are you alright? You seem to be staring at me a lot. Did I do something wrong?” He looked away “here” he held a pretty barrette in his hand (Beaupretty Hair Stick Japanese Hair Accessories, Womens Girls Japanese Kimono Flower Hair Ornament Barrette with Tassel (Black) Hair SticksAmazon.com · In stock) it matched my outfit perfectly“is that for me? It’s beautiful!” I said he replied “a girl of your beauty deserves the finest things.” I blushed and put it in my hair “thank you. It was very kind of you.” I got closer. What was this feeling? He gave me a kiss. I went in for it. We were snapped out of it when I heard my brother. “What is going on here? Kokushibo! What is the meaning of this? Why are you near my sister?” Before he could say anything. “Brother please it’s love. I never felt this way before. Besides remember. he is upper one. Hasn’t he been faithful?” my brother sighed “fine I would allow it but if he breaks your heart, he is good as dust.”
-BIG TIME SKIP-
(New outfit Maternity Dress With Kimono - Shop on PinterestPinterest ) As time went on . I became pregnant. I was so excited. But my brother on the other hand. He was furious. “ what do you mean you’re pregnant?” I smiled and placed the hand on my stomach. “I’m having a baby with the man I love. Is that a problem?” For The first time, my brother snapped at me “leave! I no longer need you” I ran away and left my brother and Kokushibo.
-time skip-
I had found an abandoned cottage. (The cottage-A Village house PhotographyPinterest) by now I was heavily pregnant. (You Exploring images in the style of selected image: [Resting with ...PixAI) I decided to go inside. I was so tired. After all I’m 8 months pregnant with a baby girl. I felt her kick rapidly. “Sshhhh it’s okay.” I said as I rubbed my belly trying to comfort her. All the sudden my bedroom window bursted open. I started to cry as I saw Kokushibo standing there. “Why didn’t you tell me?” I cried more and said “brother kicked me out and I didn’t want you to suffer for me!” He sighed and pulled me into his arms. I put my head against his chest as he said “I’ve been looking for you. I missed you.” I looked up and said “I missed you too I’m so sorry.” He just held me in his arms and moved a hand on my belly and rubbed soothing circles. My. Our baby girl started to calm down inside me and nestled against my stomach walls against Kokushibo’s hand. He then said “I love you 2.” As I slowly fell asleep in his arms.
Time past and I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. I named her Aya. Meaning beautiful/design/colorful/woven silk. But I picked the name cause she was beautiful. She had 6 eyes like her father. With my hair color. Aya was perfect in my eyes. I was wearing a new kimono I made when I was pregnant with her. It was stretchy and loose so I can be comfortable. (New outfit-Japanese Kimono Yukata Geisha Samurai Costume Costumes Japan ...Pinterest) I put Aya in (Newborn Infant Girls Spring Summer Long Sleeve Japanese Kimono Romper Jumpsuit Japanese Style Costume Twin DressesAmazon.com · In stock) the outfit I made for her. She was my precious flower. I held her close and thought about my brother. Me and Kokushibo were indoors hiding from the light. “Kokushibo? I want to see my brother.” He looked at me “are you certain?” I nodded and replied “I just want him to meet Aya.” He sighed “we will leave when the sun is down.” I smiled “thank you!”
As we prepared to leave I put Aya in her pajamas (Items similar to Baby Kimono with Japanese fabric , elephant print ...Pinterest) I smiled “you’re just so cute and beautiful! I love you my beautiful baby girl!” I said as I gave her kisses. She looked at Kokushibo and reached for him I giggled “you want your daddy?” She smiled as I handed her over to him. “Why do you trust me with her?” He asked I smiled “because you are her father she loves you! I’m gonna go get ready and then we could go!” I looked through all my kimonos. Which one should I wear. This one! (Decide on Women's Sexy Short Kimono Dress Floral Print Japanese Traditional Geisha Yukata Robe Bathrobe Skirt Belt OutfitAmazon · In stock) perfect! I grabbed Kokushibo and Aya.
-time skip-
“Brother, I’m home! There’s someone I want you to meet!” I heard brother “so you finally decided to visit?” I knew he wasn’t going to apologize. But in his own way, I saw sadness in his eyes. “This is Aya your niece.” My brother looked at her “ she looks like you minus the eyes. But in her own way I guess she’s beautiful.” I smiled. It’s gonna take time but I know. We are going to be a big happy family. Well small but it’s just right.
The end sorry for the cringe

Kinda like my last post but more poly. Auish so barely anything's cannon. Kimetsu Gauken based. Artwork not mine both found on Pinterest. Will probably contain some headcannons from my Kagamane x Reader headcannons post too.
Tumblr media
-How did you catch the attention of these two couples? You literally had no idea.
-You only knew that you were Muzan's secretary before he hired Kokushibo to take over your job as he was 'better suited.' But unbeknownst to you, that was a way to just get closer to you by Muzan and his wife.
-You've been working for the couple for over two years having been hired by Two to help the both of them manage their companies. Muzan wasn't happy about his wife hiring someone without his say so but relented the because his wife was happy with you.
-You did a very good job honestly. Papers were always perfectly filed, and you were very organized and clean. You kept up with his own and Rei's Business deals separated unless needed to be combined. He couldn't remember how many times the last secretary mixed up their appointments and costed them time and money. You were also on time all the time everyday and had materials at the ready for whatever he needed.
-Rei was quite satisfied with your performance as well and he liked knowing his wife was happy so he didn't care about her inviting you to have small lunch breaks with her and their daughter.
-Their daughter was quite taken by you as well. Smiling and talking about how nice you were and how you had help her learn how to spell a big learn that won her spelling bee at school.
-Rei quite agreed you were quite a charming lady and she wouldn't mind having you around more often. He agrees.
-While you're professional and perficiant in what you do and your bubbly kind and positive personality added a bit of fresh air into the office and at the same time you weren't overly positive for him to find you annoying. If fact he quite looked forward to the way you treated him every morning with your bright smile and a cup of his favorite coffee. How you and Rei smile like old friends and get along so well. How his daughter is always excitedly bouncing around and showing off what cool new facts she learnt 'from the nice office lady'!
-Its inevitable they would find someone as cute as you unable to resist for long. It's not surprisingly Rei that brings up the subject first while at breakfast and he's reading a newspaper. "Dear, Y/n was so kind to teach our little darling how to easily spell arithmetic the other day." "Mmhm. Very nice." "You know I don't think we're really giving her a position she deserves. You've always said that I could use a personal assistant for my work." "Darling, you just read my mind."
-You are shocked when the happy couple announced that you were fired from your secretary job but they were moving you to be Rei's personal assistant. You gingerly try to reject the offer but they insist having already replaced you with Kokushibo who turns out if far more efficient.
-So begins your very awkward new job as Rei's personal assistant. Some of it isn't too different from your old job minus following her around during the day. You still file paperwork for her and handle calls if she's busy, but now you also did things for her such as getting her awkwardly massive food orders-
"I have your double shrimp salad bowls."
"Oh thank you. But I must've gotten too much. You eat the other one you've been working so hard and deserve some food."
And going shopping with her as she gifts you extra items she ..accidentally buys an item she didn't want.
"I have all your bags, Ma'am."
"Thank you. But it seems I accidentally bought the purple heels instead of black."
"Shall I call the store and request a refund for the shoes?"
"No need. You can keep them. They're your size anyways."
-You also start to help out Rei's husband by rearranging furniture in his office as he works and gauges your help in certain things.
"I want you to take this."
".... It's an address and..IS THIS THREE THOUSED DOLLARS?!"
"Yes. I'm thinking about buying a share at this new retreat but unfortunately I'm far too busy to go myself. Go check yourself in for a week and report back to me anything wrong with the place."
Even when you go, granted having a good time, and comeback with your positive feedback you don't see any shares listed for the retreat in the financial database. But he does use your help in other situations too-
"Is this a dinner reservation?"
"Yes. I'm interested in hosting a business dinner together with some investors next week. Go to the reservation and see if their food is up to my standards."
You are concerned when he sees no investors the next week.
-You start to get very awkward when Rei requests you start doing more personal things. Like tutoring their daughter and picking her up from school and playing with her when they're busy. And staying to have dinner with them multiple times a week even if you decline.
-You unexpectedly get a raise despite doing less work than your last position.
-You get invited on outings together to help watch their daughter but for some reason there's always a place set aside for you or the reservations always included a fourth person.
-You get random gifts with excuses-
"My daughter thinks it's your birthday and she'll be upset if I didn't at least gift you some flowers."
"Here. I never used this dress anyways and they got my size wrong."
"My wife misplaced her necklace so I ordered a new one for her. She just found the old one today so you may keep the extra."
-One day you pick up their daughter from elementary school and she's just happily chatting away in the back seat.
"I can't wait for Mother's Day. I'm gonna make you and Mommy the best cards ever!"
"Aw. You don't have to do that. I'm not even your mom."
"Not yet! You have to marry them first and I'm gonna be the flower girl!!"
"Haha! I'm not marrying your mommy and daddy."
"Huh? You're not?"
"Of course not. What made you think that?"
"Because Daddy says I can be the flower girl! Mommy even picked out matching dresses for all three of us in that fancy magazine!"
-Both are a mixed reaction when they receive your professional company email that very night explaining that the hours were starting to get bad for you so you were putting in your two weeks and using all your company vacation days for that entire week so they didn't have to trouble you for a final paycheck.
-Rei is absolutely shocked and very, very confused. Why did you suddenly quit? If the hours were getting to bad then they'd be happy to talk with you about it and rearrange things.
Muzan is pissed. How dare you just quit on such short notice?! After everything they did?! You didn't even have mind to tell them in person!
Both try calling you but get nothing but voicemail, their emails go unanswered as well. Their daughter is very upset. Why did you leave? Weren't you going to marry them?
-Unbeknownst to the couple you use the extra money from your sudden raise to move away to a new residence. Blocking both on your old email and phone before completely getting a brand new email address and number and being sure to block them again on those too before gathering up all the unwanted gifts up to mail them back being sure to include no return address.
-After laying low for about a month you decide to go back out to job hunt. Eventually finding a secretary position open at a local school after the old secretary retired! Perfect! You end up calling the number listed for the principal and she's nice enough to arrange an interview for you with her husband, the Chairman of Kimetsu Academy.
-The interview actually goes very well! Mr. Kagaya Ubuyashiki is a very kind man and his wife is also very kind and both of them were impressed with your resume. You got the job the day!
-You're a little out of your territory being in a a school setting but slowly things start turning. You start to really enjoy your job at the Academy. You've already made friends with a few teachers like Kyojuro and Gyomei.
-Students start to like coming to the office more because of how bubbly and friendly the new secretary is. The teachers start to talk to you more often and invite you to staff parties and outside work events. Events that you were free to DECLINE and no one was giving you an uncomfortable feeling.
-Was working your old job really that stressful? You couldn't remember the last time you actually felt appreciated or just had someone treat you normally.
-Kagaya thinks it's amusing watching you shyly peek into the doorway to his office with papers clutched into your hands and bashfully asking if you could come in. The way you so innocently look unsure of something or squeak out a question. It's adorable seeing your attempts.
Amane finds your sweet and bubbly personality is perfect for the job! Especially when she sees how much you love interacting with the students and always friendly towards her own children. When you shyly ask her for help with scheduling or ask where a certain file is, always puts a smile on her face.
-Speaking of the Ubuyashiki children, you adore the quintuplets! And don't mind watching them in the office for a little bit if Kagaya or Amane was running a little late or had to do last minute work. Because they always asked you if you'd be alright with it first and didn't expect you to do anything outside your job.
-Somewhere along the way they ask you politely if you'd like to have dinner with them without any expectations for you saying yes and you agree wholeheartedly. Making it a weekly thing where you all would all have dinner together Sunday night.
-Muzan and Rei really don't know where you went for the longest time until he just happens to mention you in front of Nakime who recognizes you instantly and reveals it to him.
-Muzan is absolutely RAGED to find out not only are you working for his cousin but seemed to be dating his cousin and his wife!! Rei has to hold him back and tell him to not do anything dumb before he goes to do anything actually dumb like storm into the academy and yell at everyone.
-Instead he furiously calls his cousin and DEMANDS to know what the hell he thought he was doing!! And DEMANDS to let him talk to you THAT INSTANT!!
"Oh yes. You're the really weird bosses she was talking about. How's your dating life going?"
"YOU FUCKER!! IF YOU DON'T DO AS I SAY I SWEAR YOU'LL PAY FOR IT ONE WAY OR ANOTHER!!"
"How do you both manage to get married but still pull no bitches combined?"
"YOU MOTHERFU-"
Rei later scolds him for cussing in front of their daughter at her cousins and for chucking his phone off their second story balcony.
-She tries to later apologize for his tantrums via calling Amane who firmly states that they were not to go near you but much more politely.
-Your're later very surprised to discover that Muzan and Kagaya are actually cousins but it doesn't change your opinion on the Ubuyashikis because of how well they have been treating you.

How long had it been?
[F/N]'s head lay against the admittedly comfortable pillow, The long dejected solace being finally let in, Nuzzling the cold of her cheek further into it. How long had it been since he had taken her hostage?
Days? Weeks? Months? Years? [F/N] didn't know how long it had been since she had been siphoned under the moons eye, Taken away in the cover of night and dragged into her own personal hell and called the unwilling wife of a monstrous man?
Now she stared at him blankly from across their shared bedroom, Him, The six-eyed beast that was fixing up his kimono and settling the wisps of ebony black hair in a much more pleasing way.
[F/N] recalled him saying something about a meeting of sorts, Where or why was unknown to her and she didn't dare ask. She only stared at him from behind, Looking at all the curves and the creases she had grown unfortunately accustomed to.
[F/N] remembered how horrid it was for her at first, Dragged away with his reptilian claws trying to grasp at whatever he could of her. His entrapping, Twisted and vile mockeries of affection he tried to show to his newfound 'wife'
The way his body forced itself to entwine with hers, His hands caging her waist. It had never went that far, But it had gone just far enough to satiate the beast. The man who she so desperately hated with every inch of her being.
But even so.. She yearned for him.
Actually.. Not him exactly, No, But what he could provide. She had been so isolated for so long, Siphoned just long enough to desire for that human touch. So much so that it didn't have to be human anymore, Monstrous, But all the more comforting.
[F/N] hated herself for it, How could she, The once respectable daughter of a wealthy clan sink so low to crave a demons love? Kokushibo, The demonic samurai of the night. Her "Husband".
She had tried so long to keep herself away, To keep some part of her dignity yet..
Hands snaked around his waist. Kokushibo's shoulders instantly raised as if to lunge for the hilt of his sword, Not even lowering once his mechanical head tilted to the side, Burning golden eyes staring down at his wife starting to hug him.
"..What.. What are you doing?"
His voice was demanding and gravelly, Coming deep from within his throat. [F/N]'s arms only coiled around him tighter, Despite everything telling her no, She had found comfort in the reverberation of his song.
She pressed her face into the dip of his back, Hips pressing into his just a little lower. [F/N] took in the scent of sandalwood drifting amongst the fibres of his kimono, Shutting her eyes just to emphasise that more.
"I.. I wanted to say my farewells to my Husband before he left for his meeting, I'm sorry.." She whispered into his back, Head pressing against him like the pillow she rested on. Even though she had apologised, She didn't relent her grip.
Though his shoulders depressed, Golden hues of his eyes staring back at her, Almost widening. [F/N] didn't dare to look back at him, What punishment or retribution could come from this..
But she felt the cold palms of the demon lay upon the ones situated around his waist, [F/N] opened her eyes. She was almost terrified once they gripped hers, Pried them from his waist before swiftly turning around on his heels.
[F/N]'s eyes widened, Stepping back. She was stupid-! She shouldn't of tried touching him- Is he going to hurt her?! Lock her in the closet again or would he finally bite the bullet and slice her ne-
The cold press of his lips touched the surface of her forehead.
[F/N]'s eyes widened as she finally realised the cold hand cupping her cheek, Rough yet loving. Tough palms yet they caressed her so gently as the coarse surface of his lips remained firm on her forehead.
She should of hated this, She should've detested it-!
"..Once I have returned from my meeting, I expect you to be ready with dinner.. Afterwards, Make sure to clean up.. Be prepared.." He breathed, Husky and demanding as he finally pulled away from her.
And as soon as his lips had met her forehead, He was gone. Disappearing into thin air, Assumedly summoned to wherever he had business being. The scent of sandalwood still lingered in the air, Leaving [F/N] star-crossed and dazed.
But she loved it all the same..

﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏
THIS PLACE IS ABOUT TO BLOW.
The night had barely veiled the sky, when Muzan hopped down from the car. After years of searching for that place, he had finally found it. The road was silent, exceptionally silent, and everything was set. For weeks he had tried to fetch Kagaya a blow. After the little stunt he had pulled with his daughter, with you, Muzan craved more. His arms factory, the industry located in a secret location that nobody could ever find, was now under his nose.
The new recruit, Kaigaku, had done a pretty decent job in stalking his cousin all the way here. Such a pity that a fine building was about to turn into ashes in a few minutes. Bombs had been activated in every angle of the company and all it would have taken to make them explode was a simple remote he was currently holding into his hand. A small black device with a red button in the middle.
"I believe there's still someone inside" Nakime pointed out, scrutinizing the area with a pair of binoculars and spotting two cars in the parking lot.
Muzan did not even bother glancing at them, he closed his eyes for a second and a small grin crossed his lips. There was such a difference between the person he was now and the one he was around you. He did not want to fail to attend your dinner, he went mad when he was not around you. Yet, he could not turn into somebody else only because now you were part of his life. If you love someone, you learn to love their edges too, right?
Also, everything he was doing now was for you.
"Awesome. This only means there will be some collateral damages" Muzan replied, before shoving his hand into his breast pocket and pulling a phone out to check the time. It would have been foolish bringinghis main device in the area. The police would have reasonably been able to track him down and, frankly, the last thing he needed was to be arraigned on a charge of murder.
Studying the area before attacking had granted him the chance to find a blind spot where the videocameras could not catch even small glimpses of them. Yet, since there seemed to still be people into the building, and he was smart enough to figure that some of them were Slayers, they had to be ready to fight. Bringing with him his most cold-blooded assassins would have surely helped me to get the job done in a matter of seconds.
"Be nimble. Don't toy with your victims. — Muzan said, his plum red eyes darting on the silver-haired man at his left — I'm talking to you, idiot" he remarked, earning a grin from Douma.
His presence alone was enough to irk Muzan. He would have gladly asked Kokushibo to take care of this but, since he could not trust Douma around you, he had no other choice than switch the roles of his bodyguards.
"Can I, at least, kidnap a lady? You know, like a souvenir to remember this glorious night" Douma chimed, causing Nakime to grimace in disgust and Muzan to load up the gun he kept on his belt.
As the raven-haired politician turned to face Douma and pointed the gun at him, the bodyguard knew it was time to shut up. It was not the first time Muzan killed someone. Five bodyguards had been murdered in the last two years, all murdered by the said man.
"Do not give me an excuse to blow your brains out  – Muzan deadpanned, locking eyes with Douma before turning to glance briefly at Nakime – Get in position now, both of you" he added shortly.
In a few seconds, the lights into the building they were watching turned down. Kaigaku had finally caused the blackout in the area. A few seconds passed by, before a couple of Slayers ran out of the building and checked the area around the parking lot. Their blades glimmered under the moonlight as their eyes searched for possible threats. They seemed young, probably barely around their early twenties. It was clear that they were no match for the two Moons ready to strike them down. They waited in the darkenss, until the taller one noticed the shiny car parked on the side of the road.
"Fox, that car doesn't belong to any of us" he pointed out, his turquoise eyes widening even so slightly in the futile attempt to catch some details that coukd have helped him to figure out what was going on. However, they were too far for that and they ventured down the desert street to approach the vehicle.
The other Slayer, the one wearing a white Fox mask with a peculiar scar on it, walked beside his dark-haired colleague. His grip on the hilt of his katana was tight, his knuckles had turned white as they carefully devoured the distance between them and the car. He seemed more tense than the other, as if he was expecting to be attacked at any given chance. Yet, it was not enough to save them.
It happened before they could even realize it. As the taller one got close enough to peek into the opened window of the parked vehicle, a knife was thrown at his back and impaled his right  shoulderblade. A wince of pain left his lips as he turned around hastily and slashed at the brunette woman standing a few strides away from him.
"Yuichiro!" the masked slayer yelled out, the blood spilling out from his colleague's wound splattered over his white mask.
Nakime dodged the attack and drew another knife from the suspender on her thigh "Good evening, fellas" she cooed, her red-painted lips curling up in a smile as Douma joined her and unfolded his tessens. He pouted, cocking his head to the side as he let hsi multicolored orbs analyze his opponents outfits.
"Distasteful choice of colors for your suits... The mask is cute, though, but I would love to look my enemy straight in the eye, as I tear him apart. I hope you don't mind it, dear" the Second in Command cheerfully said, before quickly slashing at the mask covering the shorter slayer's visage.
The sound of the two pieces of wood clattering on the dirty ground made the peach-haired guy flinch and his lavander eyes glint in anger. That blow, so fast and precise, could have killed him right on the spot. How was he not able to dodge it? There was no doubt that the two strangers in fornt of them were skilled fighters. They were Moons. They clearly had no chances against them and his mind only screamed for one thing: the urge to protect Makomo and the secretary, Kotoha. They needed to run as far away as possible and to call for someone to help them out.
If they somehow managed to survive.
"Go to call Makomo and Kotoha. Tell them to go, tell Makomo I love her" Fox said through gritted teeth, not even galncing at Yuichiro for a second.
"Sabito, no! If you think I'm going to leave you alone, you're clearly out of your mind" Yuichiro spat, before he coughed up some blood on his hand.
At that sight, Douma smiled brightly and nudged Nakime's ribs with his elbow "Woah, you compromised his lungs! Good job!" he beamed, as the brunette simply twirled the knife between her fingers and threw it at the already wounded slayer, hoping to get it through his heart.
As she aimed for the organ, Sabito's eyes switched on her as he was quick to knock it out of Yuichiro's way with an horizontal slash of his katana.
Nakime sighed "You know, I was doing your friend a favor by stabbing him through his heart. I was saving him all of this sufferings... Nevermind, though" she whispered, as she got ready to throw another knife.
However, a sudden shotgun and the sight of Yuichiro's dead body slumping onto the ground were enough to make her flinch. The bullet had went clean through the slayer's head, killing him right on the spot. While Nakime knew exactly who had fired the gun, Sabito's eyes widened in horror as he knelt down next to his comrade as if shaking his shoulder could bring him back to life. It was pointless. Yuichiro Tokito was dead. A tickle of blood was running down the curve of his nose, contrasting with his pale skin and the glassy eyes now staring into the void. It was over, it was all over.
"Incompetent Moons are a pain in the ass. Worthless, you are worthlesss" Muzan Kibutsuji flatly said, his deep voice piercing their ears before he came to their vision.
Soft whimpers and shaky breaths filled the air, as two women walked slowly in front of him. One of them was younger, her tiny hand hold a broken blade in her hand as her blue eyes serached for Sabito's ones. Her left eyebrow was cut, as if someone had smacked her and, as Muzan kicked her on her back, making her fall face down on the cobblestone, it was pretty clear who had done it. The other one was around her thirties, emerald eyes contrasting with long and dark hair loosened down her small shoulders. She was terrified, tears streaming down her cheeks as she watched the scene before her eyes.
"Muzan Kibutsuji" Sabito hissed, trying to craddle Makomo in his arms, as the tiny girl sobbed in fear and gripped the fabric of her boyfriend's shirt in her little fists.
Muzan gripped the older woman's hair and made her wince in agony, before he shoved her against Douma's chest, as a sign for him to hold her still. The silver-haired man sneered and gladly wrapped his hands around her wrists, holding them tightly behind her back. His breath fanned her earlobe, making the woman shiver in fear.
"What's your name, honey?" Douma whispered, propping his chin over her shoulder.
"Kotoha. Hashibira Kotoha" she merely murmured, squeezing her eyes shut in fear as Muzan loaded his gun again and walked up towards the young couple of slayers, sitting at his feet.
It was their end. No one was going to save them.
"That's right. It's my name. — Muzan replied, pointing his gun at Sabito's head — I've tried to ask them about it, but all they were capable of telling me were pleas for mercy. How pathetic... Tell me, is there someone else in the building?" he coldly asked him, his finger ready to pull the trigger as soon as the slayer had given him the answer he needed.
Sabito held Makomo tightly, tears welling up in his eyes, as he refused to waste his last breath to talk to him. Instead, he pressed his lips against Makomo's temple and closed his eyes.
"I love you. Close your eyes" he whispered softly.
Two shotguns filled the air, some bids flying away from the brench of a nearby tree as Kotoha almost fell on her knees. She knew she would have been the next, her heart was thrumming in her chest in anticipation as thanked the God for what had happened that morning.
If Inosuke had not changed his shift with Yuichiro, the young boy laying on her ground would have been her son.
"Nakime. You know what to do. A 'K' on her left cheek, now. Hurry up" Muzan ordered his Fourth in Command as Douma gripped Kotoha's jaw to hold her head firmly.
Terror filled her eyes as she tried to wriggle in Douma's grip, only to earn an amused chuckle from the sadistic Moon behind her "Come on, hold on tight, it's like a tattoo" he crooned, as Nakime pierced her cheek with the cold blade of her knife.
Screams of pain shattered the silent night as the Fourth in Command neatly cut on her flawless skin, dark blood oozing down from the lines forming the shape of a 'K'. The mark of Muzan, his message for Ubuyashiki.
"Please, stop! It hurts! I can't!" Kotoha screetched, as Nakime finally stepped back and Muzan flicked his gaze up to admire her work of art.
There was no sympathy in his eyes as he reached his hand up to tuck a strand of Katoha's hair behind her ear, apathy in his visage as he grasped her hand delicately and pulled her closer to him. He did not care about the pain he was putting her through. She was a tool for him to send a message to his enemy.
"Your role is important, my dear. You will deliver my message to Kagaya Ubuyashiki" Muzan said, holding her gaze as she sobbed uncontrollably.
His words confused her. Was he going to spare her? The dim ounce of hope seemed to twinkly in her eyes as she wiped some blood and tears from her face with the sleeve of her shirt.
"What do you mean? Do I have to call him? Do you want me to be a messanger?" she naively asked him, her shoulder shaking as she tried to collect her breath.
This made him smile faintly. His hand reached for something behind his back, as he made sure her gaze was transfixed on him. Kotoha Hashibira was indeed a sweet woman.
His free hand held up her chin as he spoke out again "Yeah, exactly. You are going to be my messanger, Kotoha. But, you see, I got nothing to tell him. Therefore, my message has be graphic. That is why I do believe in killing the messanger" Muzan reasoned, grasping the handle of the switchblade he had hidden in his back.
Her eyes went round as she shook her head "No! No, please! Why?" she screamed, but the blade through her heart made her choke on her words.
Blood dripped out of her mouth as Muzan stared deeply into her eyes and helped her to lay down onto the ground.
"Because it sends a message" he whispered in her ear, as she twitched a few last times, before life abandoned her body.
Silence swallowed them again, as Muzan grasped the controller and his bodyguards got back into the car. He stared at the building one last time, before hopping into the passenger seat. As Douma began to drive away, Muzan rested his thumb onto the red button and, with a click, the industry exploded. The sound of the explosion felt like music to his ears and he watched the smoke and flames envelope it through the rear view mirror.
"He stood me up. He fucking stood me up" you slurred, eyes wide open as you stared up at Kokushibo in pure shock. You could not believe Muzan had cancelled your dinner through a stupid message.
Now, all dolled up and drunk, you were talking to his First in Command about how pathetic and stupid you felt for not having got back at him for that.
"As if buying me some Valentino dress and these stupid shoes... Argh, I have even forgotten the name of their brand" you ranted, dipping your head between your arms as you closed your eyes in irritation. You had drunk too much, that was evident, and now an exhaspered Kokushibo was forced to raise from him chair and help you to stand up.
"I think it's time to go home. – he lowly said, clearing his throat to catch your attention — And the brand of your shoes is Louboutin" he added, making you quirk up your eyebrows and smile up at him.
"Aw, that's so cute, you remembered the brand for me! Yeah, let's go home! Let's go! I wanna set his stupid collections of ancient tapestries on fire!" she chimed, giggling as the stoic man's ears turned pink for the embarrassment.
The restaurant was empty at that hour. You were the last two guests left in here, since you had kept on ordering bottle after bottle to drown your anger and sadness into expensive wine. Actually, all that you felt now was a suffocating dissatisfaction. You could barely stand on your heels and you clung to Kokushibo's arm as a koala.
As you almost toppled down a table, the man exhaled through his nostrils and hauled you over his shoulder making you squeak out in surprise.
"Coconut! Coconut, let me down! I can perfectly walk!" you protested, blushing as the waiters stared at you two with uncomfortable expressions plastered over their faces. They had recognized you, obviously, but Kokushibo had paid them enough to keep their mouths shut about this little stunt you had pulled.
"Stop calling me that" Kokushibo said, walking through the exit and up to his car. Just a little longer, he had to try not to strangle you for a little longer.
However, you were far from being done. Annoying Kokushibo was an art you had crafted since the first day you two crossed paths. It was in your veins, you were born for it.
"Oh, I understand! You were just looking for an excuse to stare at my ass, were you not?!" you taunted him, bursting out laughing for your own stupid joke.
"I suggest you to shut up" he warned you in a stern tone.
"I suggest you to take that broom out of your ass".
It was enough. He wanted to choke the life out of you, yet you were absolutely cute at times. Now, now as you were pestering him, you were hilarious too and he could not take it anymore. You were ready to say something else, he felt the muscles of your abdomen flex over his shoulder as you took a deep breath. This time, though, you were going to swallow your shallow speeches.
You did not process it, all you knew was that you found yourself settled onto the hood of his car and his maroon eyes bored into yours for a split second. What followed was his hand grasping your jaw and his mouth capturing yours in a passionate kiss that made your toes curl into your shoes.
It lasted a few seconds, your hands settled on each side of you for balance as his tongue explored your mouth. You were drunk, really, but sober enough to feel how passionate he was.
"Will you shut up for the rest of ride?" he breathed out, as the kiss broke.
Of course you were going to shut up.

OK BUT what about sub Muzans daughter , Dom Genya..
Since I have so many requests for this…

“I expect nothing less than perfection. You’ve done well, child.”
“Thank you, my Lord, it is my honor and duty to uphold your expectations.”
Low.
You’re bowed low to the ground. Forehead nearly touching, so close it’s nearly indistinguishable from pressing your skin to the ground.
You don’t. Can’t. Even if death is threatened.
The aura surrounding him would make any lesser demon fawn and fall to their knees, but it only drove you wild. A call to your soul to destroy him and take his place. You hated him. The man who should’ve peacefully allowed you to marry off into a pristine family and be given a true chance as a human with happiness and children ruined when he turned you. Had you attacked and nearly slaughtered before acting as if he was bestowing a mercy and not a curse.
Your face betrays nothing. Sweet and serene as always because of your true emotions showed all your hard work would be for naught. You thought of your loyal servant Tamayo, her breakthrough and discovery which could change the tide of this cursed war. Then without your permission his face appeared.
You can’t think of him.
Despite not having a heart which worked as one should in a human, it still pained your chest to remember his face and the distance between you both.
Patience.
You must be patient and stay low, no matter how it irritated your pride like a nail in your soul.
You left, moving through the infinity castle with confidence none else beside yourself and Kokushibo possessed in this space. You kept Nakime in your peripheral, the disturbed demon not to your taste despite her blood art providing much assistance in your plans.
That woman cared little for loyalty. She just liked havoc.
“Ah~♡ The lovely lady is here? Akaza-dono, you didn’t tell me we’d be graced with her ladyships presence!” Your cool gaze slid over the upper rank two demon, Doma, who now stood before you and blocked your path. His dazzling rainbow eyes trained on you with a worship similar to how he looked at your father. You shared the same addicting blood after all.
“Lady,” Akaza was as formal as ever as he leapt from a high shifting platform, landing smoothly before you to bow slightly. You returned the polite gesture before looking back at Doma with a small smile.
“Doma-san,”
“Yes! My lady?”
“Do you like being beheaded? You must be a masochist I presume, since you continue to block my path.”
“Ah… right.” He swiftly moved, created a hole for you to move through, kimono dragging lightly on the ground as you passed with your smile in tact. The blonde male irritated you as well, his loyalty questionable a from all angles.
You left, being taken out to your previous location, a spacious estate given as a gift some thirty or so years ago.
Tomoya was present, her gentle smile and irritable little assistant all in tact which made you breathe an inner sigh of relief. Your father wants her dead, and you’re harboring her in secret. Your carefully placed house of leaves can be blown apart any moment, one wrong step could destroy you and all your plans.
It could destroy him.
“Ubuyashiki contacted me… mentioned a young slayer you’ve had… correspondence with is assigned a mission near the base of the mountains.” Tomoya was always soft spoken, gentle atmosphere a layer plastered to hide the true nature she kept swaddled. Her rage. She glance over as she works, a multitude more of glass beakers filled with liquids you didn’t question.
“Hn.”
“Not going?”
“No.”
“…May I ask why?”
“You may not.”
“I see.”
Your mouth twitched before you sighed, knowing she wouldn’t give up so easily. It was obvious how you doted on him, so there was little use pretending he meant nothing.
“I’ll check, nothing more.”
“Hn.” Her smile grew but you didn’t point it out, scoffing as you left in more of a hurry than you cared to think on.
Tumblr media
He’s going to die.
This demon isn’t dying no matter how he blows its head off or slices it to pieces.
He’s been fighting for nearly two days straight, exhausted and fatigued to a point he may not survive if it continues any longer. He’s requested backup, but it may not come, and this demon’s blood is only making him more sluggish and it comes back for another swing at his jugular.
“Fucker—! Die!” He doesn’t stop though, because if he’s going to die then he’s taking this piece of shit out with him.
“Genya?!”
“Huh?” He turns at the wrong moment, and that’s his mistake.
He watches in amazement as you move swiftly, the demon he struggled to defeat lit to flames as if the sun was out and on it directly. His eyes look up, the sky covered by a thick blanket of clouds preventing even a tiny fraction of light through.
“Genya no!” He’s bleeding. Badly.
“Oh no, no it’s my fault, no sweet boy, look at me. Genya!” You look different. Less confident yet still beautiful. Are you crying? Can demons cry? He wonders briefly, eyes looking down but unable to move his body as you cradle him to your chest, blood is everywhere.
He’s going to die.
“No my love, look at me. Stay with me, okay?” He wants to speak, but his mouth feels wet and cemented shut.
You’re trembling. Or is it him?
“Okay. Let me think… okay, we’ll fix this, just stay with me alright?”
He wants to reassure you, tell you in all honesty he doesn’t regret dying in your arms, but his vision is getting fuzzy.
“I won’t let you die.”
He’s glad he gets to hear your voice in the end.
Tumblr media
He’s burning.
Genya’s eyes shoot open, breathing picking up as he feels a building fire in his core, specifically his cock.
“Fuck—ah,” he groans, muscles twitching as he rolls to his side and looks around. He’s in an inn it appears, the silence thick as he surveys his body to check to for injuries.
None.
He’s still himself though, which means you must’ve fed him your flesh.
He’s never felt this before though, after consuming a demon.
“Good, you’re awake. How’re you feeling?” A cool hand on his forehead jolts him from his thoughts, dark purple eyes looking up to your face as you smile so sweetly down at him, and the disgusting thoughts swirling inside him begin to bubble over.
“You see feverish still.” You murmur, forehead wrinkling as you lean in closer and Genya has to breathe through his mouth when he catches a whiff of something floral and sweet on you.
“Master…” he’s dying in a different way now, mind fogging over as he looks up and sees you.
It’s been months. How could you be here? Why do you smell so good? He’s itching to run out of his own skin, teeth aching because he wants to sink them into you, eyes watering as he realizes he’s going out of control.
“Genya? Sweetheart you don’t seem alright, what’s going on—oh?” He knows you allow it, your strength and power nothing to dismiss for even the strongest demon or slayer, but still you allow him to grip your shoulders and pull you into a tight hug. He’s nearly sobbing when you hug him back, arms wrapping around him and pulling him impossibly closer.
“Ma-Master I need—please, I need—,” you’re nodding with understanding as you lean back, smile still so sweet and caring as you look him over with complete adoration. He’s melting for it, gritting his teeth because the moment feels ruined but his straining cock isn’t listening to anything right now.
“I knew there’d be some kind of side effect, I just didn’t imagine it’d affect you like this.” He’s not listening, head hazy and eyes clouding over as he leans forward and kisses you, soft lips desperate for entrance into your mouth which he’s gratefully granted.
His hands are everywhere now, shaky and jerky as he yanks awkwardly at your kimono and his own clothing, trying to tear it from you both as his hips hump the air at nothing.
He needs to taste you. Needs you on his tongue with desperation he’s never felt. He might truly perish this time if he’s denied.
You’re soft in his arms, and for the first time he realizes you’re smaller than he thought. Sweet and caring despite how you’ve fucked him senseless, and remembering only drives him more crazy.
“Please—fuck, let me taste you.” Tears are already welling up in his eyes, features languid as his reddened face struggles to stay still, even as he shakes and clutches onto your robes.
“Okay, sweet boy, whatever you want.”
Whatever you want—
He gives up on his disheveled clothing in favor of pushing up your kimono only halfway opened, burying his face in your crotch much like the dog you enjoy calling him, lips immediately seeking out your warm heat. He moans at your taste, hands gripping your hips and pulling you closer with the intention of suffocating himself as he dry humps the futon, pre-cum wetting and staining his yukata placed on him. His hot mouth open and tongue flicking at the hidden pearl which has you moaning.
Your noises drive him more wild, eating you like a man starved. His nails digging into the fat of your hips, only leaving marks for a second before you heal.
“So good, fuck—,” he’s delirious and gone to the heat and haze of your blood and slick. He’d happily die only consuming the two for the rest of his life. He’s chanting your name as he slurps and messily swallows your slick, and he groans low in his throat when you tangle your fingers into the soft tuft of hair atop his head and yank him closer to grind on his face.
“Such a good boy, yes—you’re going to make me cum.” Your words only push him to work harder, tongue lapping and lavishing your clit while your orgasm washes over you.
He only stops when you force his head up, slick covered red face almost offended it’d been stopped.
“Enough. Don’t you want to feel better? Come here Genya.”
“Y-yes—,” he’s nearly falling over himself as he sits up and crawls over you, clothes tangled awkwardly around his legs but it hardly mattered since his cock was free and ready.
He came the moment he felt his tip glide through your soaked folds, body nearly seizing up as he struggled to breathe through such an intense release.
“It’s alright, you’re doing so good.” He whines as you brush the sweat soaked hair off his forehead, blurry eyes only briefly focusing on you before dropping down to his still hard cock.
It hurt. He wanted to cry because it hurt to physically not be inside you. You seemed to know though, encouraging him with soft words and gentle hands guiding him forward as he finally pressed forward and felt the tip of his cock breach the tight ring of muscle to your pussy. “C-cuming—ah, fuck, please let me cum, please—,”
“Cum for me sweet boy,” you kiss him.
He comes again, but you gasp in pleasure and delight when he merely surges forward to completely fill you, Genya’s fucked out expression lewdly on display as he ruts into you with an unset rhythm. His libido won’t tire it appeared.
He moans loudly when you clamp down around him, tightening up to watch his eyes roll back and drool slide down his chin. He cries though when you try to slow him, shush him quiet as he pumps his poor meat rod into your gummy walls with a more coordinated roll of his hips. Pretty tears glistening in his eyes despite the animalistic way he’s pounding into your body, trying to mold your inner walls into the shape of him.
“I l-love you—,” he’s not even in his right mind but he’s confessing. It amuses and warms you, only making you draw him in closer as he pants and whines losing himself inside you.
“You feel so good, Master, Y/N, I’m going crazy,” he’s slurring his speech, mindlessly fucking you until he’s begging to fill you again and again.
If you were human it might’ve been too much.
You aren’t though, and he’s still hard despite it all, only making a frothy mess of cum continuously being pumped into your pussy and spilling out over the sides when he stretches you out again.
“Go crazy then, fuck me harder.” He does, pressing forward and folding you up into a mating press where he pounds straight against your womb which he babbles about filling, panting and moaning like a dog in heat as he makes you cum before painting your insides once again.
Tumblr media
He wakes the next morning with something akin to a headache, but alive nonetheless.
His eyes widen though when they catch you, naked beside him and gazing at him fondly.
“Did you have fun, pet?”
He feels something ominous in your words but he can’t quite pick it out.
“Y-yes…?”
“That’s good, because I’m very curious of the biological response you had to my blood. I’d like to run some more tests.”
Despite the almost polite way you spoke, he knew you weren’t really asking.

╰┈➤ The Demon Princess || Hantengu Clones x F!Reader
requested by @danielle-marie  : they requested that the hantengu clones are stuck with the mission of protecting muzan’s daughter and at the end they end up falling in love with her.
a/n: I know you asked for headcanons but the words kept on coming out 🥹🥹 // also this isn’t proof read, please let me know if there’s any mistakes uwu
Tumblr media
When the four clones got the mission of protecting Muzan’s daughter they all had mixed feelings. First of all Sekido didn’t want to play babysitter. why do they have to protect you?! What you can’t protect yourself? Then Aizetsu is honored of being in your presence, like wow protecting Muzan’s daughter? The Demon King must have a lot of faith in them to be protecting the Demon Princess! And then there’s Karaku and Urogi who want to play with her, it’s been so long since they had a playmate! So those two are pretty excited to meet you.
Currently you were at the Infinity Castle speaking with your father, you didn’t understand why you need so called body guards, for the love of god you were the Demon Princess you were capable of taking care of yourself. But your father wasn’t taking a “no” for answer and of course you were pissed off.
“Father I don’t understand why I need protection? I can take care of myself!” You say looking at Muzan, and his cold eyes looked at you. “And from everyone why them? They are reckless idiots, why couldn’t you give me someone more responsible like Kokushibo? Heck even Akaza? Unbeliev-”
Muzan stared at you, making your blood run cold. You could feel blood pouring down your mouth and eyes. “That’s enough Y/N!” He yelled out, taking a step closer to you and looking down at you. You just stood there with your head down. He sighed and stopped your pain which made you sigh in relief. “Look I know you’re capable of protecting your but I’m not asking what you want understood?” He said in a harsh tone of voice. “And besides, I only want what’s best for you. I just want you protected.”
You stayed silent for awhile and look at your father’s eyes and sigh. “Very well then Father...but don’t expect me to befriend them.”
“Yes I know, but hear me out Y/N, if you leave their sight there will be harsh consequences for you.” He said. Making you roll your eyes as you bow your head for him. “Even for your own daughter?” You hiss out softly. Making Muzan grab your chin roughly and making you look him in the eye. “Especially for my daughter. Now get going they are waiting for you outside, and once you meet up with them Nakime will send you guys off somewhere private.”
You move away from his grasp and nodded and with that you walked out of the room and take a deep breath. You made your way to where the clones where, and there they stood. They all looked at you, everyone smiled at you but Sekido, he had a huge frown up his face. Walking to them you made a face. “Well I can’t believe we are doing this but here we are. Let’s just get this over with. Nakime please send us where my father wanted us to go.” You spoke up.
Hearing a loud Biwa note around, and all of the sudden you guys were teleported in a cabin in the woods. All five of you stood there, and you sigh and walk off and head towards the door since it was night time but before you could walk away someone grabbed you and turn around and see Sekido having a harsh grip on your arm. “Where are you going. Lord Muzan said we need to protect you.”
Ripping away from his grip you hiss. “Don’t touch me.” Making the red eyed Demon hiss back.
“Listen here you brat, Lord Muzan gave us an order and we need to follow his rules. Unless you want us to tell him that you’re not very cooperative. Hmm do you really want to be punished.” He said, making you sigh and you just stood in place. Making him smirk at your reaction. :”Good, now I’m going to fetch us some food. Karaku and Urogi you guys are coming with me while Aizetsu stays here with her.”
Making both Karaku and Urogi whine out. “Hey that’s not fair, why does the crybaby stay with her! I want to stay here!” Karaku whined out making Urogi speak out. “Yeah no fair!”
And Sekido gave them a harsh look and they both rolled their eyes and mumbled out a “Fine..”
“We will be back soon, and Aizetsu keep an eye on her.” Sekido said and began walking out and Urogi spoke up before they left. “Hey I should watch her! I’ll keep an eye on her like a Hawk!” Earning a slap on the back of the head from Sekido. “Shut up, let’s go.”
You watched them leave, which left you alone with Aizetsu. Looking at him you narrowed your eyes, sitting on the floor you curled up into a ball making him frown. “Hey what’s the matter?” He said in a soft tone of voice, sitting next you you. You didn’t answer him and this made him frown. “Do you really hate us that much?”
Making you look at him, you really didn’t hate them but you were mostly just upset that your father treated you like a child. “No, I don’t...It’s just stresses me out that my father treats me like a little child...I don’t understand why I need protection.” You began saying out, Aizetsu looked at you and he was frowning even more. He slowly placed a hand on your back as if he was comforting you.
“Hey don’t be sad, your father just wants you safe, and I’m very grateful that he choose us...even though the others could be a hand full. But we’ll do anything to protect you.” He said, and he began to slowly rub your back. “Please don’t be so upset..”
You sigh and look down, you allowed him to rub your back. “Thanks..” You say softly, and he smiled and nodded. You then lean your head against his shoulder and he gasped softly and wrapped his arms around you. You guys stayed there in silence for awhile and all of the sudden the door opened and the three clones stood there with a bag filled with human flesh and Sekido threw the bag on the floor. “Eat away.”
Karaku and Urogi were shocked that you were allowing Aizetsu to hold you, making them both pout out. “Hey no fair! I wanna hold her!” Karaku said stomping his foot on the ground. That’s when you pulled away from the demon and open the bag and look at the three clones. “Thanks for the food boys.” You say softly and with that you began to munch away on some Human Flesh and the clones joined as well.
All of you enjoyed a tasty meal. And throughout the night you talked with them and actually they weren’t so bad. Aizetsu was the most kindest one, Urogi was more the playful one, Karaku was more the laid back one and Sekido still was pretty harsh to you.
And all night you guys played card games and all four of them asked so many questions about you and they got to know you better.
Maybe this wasn’t going to be so bad after all? Maybe you father was doing you a favor of sending these guys with you.
Tumblr media
Weeks have passed by and you’ve gotten so close to the Clones, you weren’t so sure if you were falling in love with them but you decided to keep these feelings to yourself. Afraid of rejection and also afraid of what your father’s reaction.
As you were in the living room of the house, you sat on a chair reading a book and that’s when Urogi came in running and behind him was Sekido. “Get back here you idiot!” He hissed out. Making you look up and you couldn’t help but giggle. And Sekido grabbed Urogi by the hair and he started to tug on it roughly.
“Hey what’s going on!!” You yell out. Standing up and standing in between them. Pushing them apart making them hiss at each other. And none of them were answering you so you crossed your arms and tap a foot on the ground. “Tell me.”
“Uh well…” Sekido began speaking softly, which was odd for him considering that he was always loud and yelling. And that’s when Urogi spoke up. “He likes you!! And he was going to ask you out! But he knew that I liked you first! So he’s taking you away from me!” He spat out at the red eyed demon, which earned him a growl.
“Shut up! You don’t deserve her you stupid bird.” Sekido yelled at him. And you held out your arms to keep them apart. Making you yell out “STOP! WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!”
Making both demons frown and they both crossed their arms and pouted. And they didn’t speak for awhile until Sekido was the first one to speak up. “I have feelings for you…” He grumbled out.
“So do I!!” Urogi yelled out making Sekido eyes grow in rage. “YOU BASTARD!”
And a other argument began which lead you screaming for them to stop and that’s when the other two clones came in and wanted to know what’s the yelling. “What’s going on here!?” Karaku yelled out. Making you jump.
“You scared her!” Aizetsu spoke to him. Shaking his head. “Now what’s going on sweetheart?” He asked you softly. His voice was so gentle towards you.
“THIS DOESN’T INVOLVE YOU! GO AWAY BOTH OF YOU!” Sekido yelled out at them, which made Karaku frowned and he walked towards him and poked his chest aggressively. “It does now. Now what’s going on!”
Urogi was shaking a bit and yelled out of the sudden. “Sekido has feelings for Y/N! BUT I ALSO HAVE FEELINGS FOR HER! HE’S TAKING HER AWAY FROM ME!”
“Wait what! What do you mean you have feelings for her! Both of you!” Karaku yelled out. “Ugh Fuck! You guys suck! She was supposed to mine!”
“What do you mean yours? YOU CAN’T CLIAM HER! AND BESIDES I’M PREFECT FOR HER! Afterall I’m the most tame one.” Aizetsu said. And this made the other three laugh at his face which made him more upset.
“What do you mean most tame? You’re a Demon, and Demons aren’t tame...and besides all you’re going to do is cry all over her.” Sekido hissed at him, venom in his voice. Making Aizetsu upset, and he began to tear up. “OH? YEAH WELL ALL YOU’RE GOING TO DO IS YELL AT YOU!”
You just stood there, watching all four of them fight. And they are fighting over you, you didn’t realize they had feelings for you. This shocked you, as you stand there you began to tear up. You were getting overwhelmed. “ENOUGH ALL OF YOU!” You yell out, your voice shaking the room slightly. “That’s enough..” You say, soon after hot tears began to stream down your cheeks, quickly wiping them away.
The four clones just stood there, they were all shocked about your reaction. They stare at you, seeing your tears and they all mumble “Fuck..”
“Please don’t cry sweetheart..” Aizetsu said, as he took a step closer to you which you took a step back making him frown. “Hey please, we are sorry sweetheart we didn’t mean to hurt your feelings or scare you.”
The other three clones look down in shame. “Yeah we are sorry Y/N...please don’t hate us.” Karaku said. Urogi nodded and he looked at you “Yeah Y/N...we are sorry. I don’t know what got over us.”
And Sekido still didn’t speak to which earned a slap across the back of his head from Urogi. “Fine....I’m sorry Y/N. I don’t know what got into me, I’ve just never had these kinds of feelings. None of us had ever felt like this before..”
Taking a deep breath, you wipe your tears away. At least they apologized but you still couldn’t believe that they all had feelings for you. “You all have feelings for me..” You say softly, and they nodded. “Oh...I see.” You mumble, looking at them and you let out a huge sigh. “I can’t believe this...because I feel the same way..”
“WAIT YOU LIKE ONE OF US!!” They all yell out at the same time, and you nodded.
“Who is it!!” Urogi said so eagerly.
“It’s me right!” Karaku added, smirking. “I am the better looking one.”
“Shut up! It’s obviously me!” Sekido barked at the both of them.
And Aizetsu of course was the more respectful one. “Guys stop! She can decide..stop forcing the poor girl. He said softly. Making Sekido snap his head at his direction “Shut up you kiss ass.”
Making you snap your fingers and you look at Sekido. “That’s enough.. all of you. But it’s true, I have feelings so please shut up so I can confess.” You say, and as you were going to confess about the consequences of your father, but that didn’t matter. Taking a deep breath “I have feelings for.....for all of you..”
“What do you mean all of us!” They all said again. Making you roll your eyes at them. “You heard me...I have feelings for all four of you...technically you guys are the same person right?”
They thought about it, looking at each other. They nodded. “So you want to be with all four of us? Even mean ass Sekido.” Aizetsu said, making you nod and smile and Sekido just grumbled.
“Yes..I don’t know how it’s going to work but we can make it work right?” You say softly, looking at the demons. They thought about it and nod at your words making you smile and you held your arms up. “Group hug!”
They all ran to you, hugging you tight. Feeling you cheeks get red as they all hugged you. You felt like a sandwich.
“Hey stop hogging her!” One of the clones yelled out. Making you roll your eyes out, but you kept enjoying the hug. This was going to take time to get used to..now how are you going to tell your father?

Hi hiiii!!
I saw your post that you’re looking for KNY requests so I got one that I’ve been thinking abt for a while.
So, a Douma x reader where the reader is Muzan’s only daughter (or offspring if you’d prefer it to be gn) and Michael Jack- *ahem* I mean, Muzan doesn’t really pay that much attention to her so they don’t talk often. She’s also only half demon so she can walk in the sun (but he doesn’t know that for obvious reasons).
However, after Gyutaro and Daki were killed and all the upper moons were summoned, Muzan’s daughter joins them bc he always summons her regardless if she cares or not.
Low and behold, the other upper moons see her for the first time, except for Kokushibo who’s pretty much known her all her life since he’s the first. While they’re waiting for Muzan to arrive, she begins to have a conversation with the upper moons.
Her and Akaza feel neutral about each other, she gets along with Gyokko pretty well and Hantengu… is scared of making even eye contact with her since she’s Muzan’s daughter.
When Douma sees her, oh boy, head over heels is an understatement. Instead of wanting to be worshipped by her, he WANTS to worship the ground she walks on. When she sees his unique eyes and compliments them, he melts to the ground instantly, asking Gyokko if he’s in some kind of dream.
If you don’t want to do this or you don’t feel comfortable, then skip. Also, sorry that was long, I had to get it all out 😅

Akaza X Muzan’s Daughter
Bare with me I’m trying 🥹
🤍🤍🤍🖤🤍🤍🖤🤍🖤🖤🤍🖤🤍🤍🖤🤍🤍🤍
“Kaza! kaza!” A child ran up to Akaza as he entered the infinity castle for the first time in a while. Y/n, Muzan’s daughter, he felt his eye twitch before he smiled slightly looking down at the child.
“Well if it isn’t Little Miss Muzan,” he stared as the child stopped infront of him, hands together infront of her chest, star filled eyes and a wide smile, she had adored Akaza, he was so funny with the ways he’d always fight with Douma, or how he was always so quick to kneel to her daddy, how obedient he was. It was funny in her eyes how he’d do almost any thing asked of him without resisting including playing with her and the tea set Biwa Lady had gifted her. “Welcome back Kaza! Daddy’s in his lab, Ko-Koko koku shiba,” Akaza had to refrain from snorting at the child’s failed attempts of announcing Kokushibo’s name, “kokushiba is here too.”
“Thank you-Doma!” Akaza was cut off as y/n turned to look at Doma who had just appeared, almost instantly the sound of a Biwa was heard as the three appeared before Biwa Lady. What was new in the castle was the Pillow and Slightly smaller Biwa beside her, the Biwa young Y/n was learning to play. “Well if it isn’t little Y/n” Doma pushed past Akaza smiling brightly with his eyes closed reaching a hand out to touch y/n small round face, “Where’s your Father Lord Muzan Y/n? Hm?” He hummed suddenly tripping forward as Biwa Lady had sent him to a different platform. You were currently her responsibility, no one would touch you under her watchful eye. Y/n still smiling turned to look as other Kizuki started to file in, as soon as all 12 had arrived Biwa Lady sent y/n who had been receiving younger sibling treat from Gyutaro and Daki to her father. The meeting started as the 12 Kneeled in respect to Muzan, he started to speak, announcing the hunt of something special, y/n was lost to it all studying the 12, watching them, watching her dad, she yawned from her place in the castle that allowed her to hear and see everything. She fell asleep for a while waking up when the meeting was finally closing. Appearing behind her father, he looked back over his shoulder to acknowledge her before refocusing on his last words. As everyone started to leave y/n started to say bye, calling out everyone’s names with the cute little mess ups that some found endearing in a way.”
“Bye Koko! Bye Doma! Bye Tengu! Bye Okko!Bye Gyu! Bye Daiki!” All of the Kizuki Dismissed them selves from Muzan, and giving bows to Y/n with words such as “Take care of yourself young y/n” in the end Y/n looked up at Akaza “Bye Kaza!” Waving her small hand he nodded and bowed slightly to the child “I wish you well Little Miss Y/n” before he too was gone.
Y/n turned to look up at her dad, before holding her hands up, he let out a single breathy laugh before lifting her up. “As for you y/n, we have a lot to do with our own time.”
🤍🤍🤍🖤🤍🤍🖤🤍🖤🖤🤍🖤🤍🤍🖤🤍🤍🤍
Over 100 years had passed, Little Miss Y/N had become Lady Y/n, the pride, joy, and Apple of her fathers eye.
She had grown strong in her fighting forms, educated and talented in many arts, being wise and just as invested and studious following closely in achieving her fathers dreams. The Demoness was año force to be reckoned with, the deceased body count of hashira, pillars, demon slayers in training she had slain were fascinating. Muzan knew if he couldn’t rely on one of his ranked demons, and he couldn’t make do himself, he’s Blossom would never fail to appease him. She’d carry out almost any task with easy, precision and with out the need of extra work or steps.
“My little blossom,” Muzan moved his daughter’s hair away from her face, she had his blazing red eyes, as she sat kneeled, he took a knee before her, “You are absolutely perfect in every way imaginable, if only the others could manage to reach your level of perfection and competence. We would be unstoppable.” You smiled up at your dad nodding slightly, “I’m grateful dad, for everything you’ve done,so I only hope even if it’s not in full, that I can repay everything you’ve ever given me.”
The soft smiles you two shared in the moment were almost enough to pull at Biwa Lady’s heart where she sat. As she plucked a note, you two were separated, your father sent to his own location as you were sent to small town to follow leads of the Blue Spider Lily, you looked up at the sky, the sun was blazing as you stepped out, the heat of the sun almost welcoming on your cold skin, your red eyes shifting to e/c.
You remember the panic and fear in your dads eyes after you brought him with you to one of the balconies in the Infinity Castle, cracking open the door just enough he stayed far from the sunlight that poured in, then he saw you, watched as you stepped out into the sunlight, he screamed your name doing his best to run to you being burned as he reached for you as you stepped out, his own screams falling silent on his ears and it felt like for once all he could hear is what would be his heart beat. Then you turned and smiled at him, he felt tears sting his eyes and he watched you smile, you’d hurt your father this way, comment an act of suicide and turning to smile at him in your last moments??? He’s not the monster, your are- then he saw you were dying and his eye twitched as you started to to explain how you had been experimenting with altering blood, altering dna, altering your existence, one of the biggest problems your father had was finding loyal followers that could walk around in the day Light, you could never find any and instead decided, “It WILL be me” walking in and sliding the door shut your dad whacked you lightly on the back of the head screaming to not scare him like that before pulling you into a hug, “I thought I was seeing the last of you, I was scared it was your end, that i had lost you.” Your father’s words were out of character, soft whispers no one would ever believe he’d said.
Refocusing on your mission, you found yourself walking through the village tracking a scent. Gyokko. You made your way around, the strip of shops dipping into an alley, and walking through the ally that led you to another strip of shops, you stopped just before coming out on the other side, that all to familiar vase sitting just on the edge of a shop table, moving swiftly you walked by picking it up and holding it to your chest as you walked hoping the shop owner wouldn’t see you, as you made your way though city again you found a place that rented over night rooms, walking in you flirted with the young male while asking for a room, he had completely forgotten to charge you as he handed you the papers and a key to your room. You thanked him with a smile letting your hand graze over his as you took your papers, you walked away smiling back at him until you turned the corner rolling your eyes, “Idiots” you mumbled before you heard a giggle come from your vase, scoffing you smiled at the vase shaking your head, “oh Gyokko it’s feels like it’s been centuries hasn’t it?” You placed the vase in the middle of the room as you went around blocking all the windows and open doors.
“Lady y/n! It’s been years since we last seen eachother, i forget you’re not the little girl who used to scream” he changed his voice to sounds babyish “Okko okko! Will you show me how to do that?” You instantly remembered that day you pointed to the mountain scape he had on his pot, it was beautiful in your eyes, the colors, the brush strokes, as a kid you didn’t know the technique it took but you knew you wanted to do it. “I remember, it was a pretty vase. Your skills were limitless Gyokko” you smiled and shook your head and he stood up straighter, “I see you’ve also grown out the name Okko Lady y/n, my heart, it aches to think you don’t love me as much as you used to, no more Okko Okko, just Gyokko”
You felt the smile on your lips, forgetting how Gyokko could be, you thought it was so funny as a kid, but now understanding why your dad had his head a third of the time. “Don’t be that way Okko, i didn’t grow out of it, I just thought now that I’m older and refined you’d all prefer to be called by your names instead.” The conversation quickly moved to what you had arrived for, Gyokko had learned some information, mostly talk and rumors of what your dad had sent them to find years ago. But it’s not what you had been sent to look for. What you were here for was to watch Enmu, you had caught word that he could be acting irrationally, and you’d be damned before you let him throw away all your fathers work. “Ty Okko,” you smiled at him, he seemed to smiled back, “I’ll see you soon, I need to find my next target.”
Just as you stood to exit the room Gyokko spoke out peaking out just barely from his vase, “Lady Y/n, it amazes me how you haven’t ranked in the 12 Kizuki, maybe you should consider giving it try.” He giggled before disappearing into his vase saying “I’m sure you could string Doma or Kokushibo along” You stopped hand on the sliding Shoji door, looking back over your shoulder at the vase that sat there. 12 Kizuki Huh, maybe, maybe you would give the Kizuki a challenge.

HIIII!!!!
Congrats on 500!!! i dont say it enough but i really do love ur work and istg i need to start interacting more to say it >.<. but since you're doing requests-
If you're willing to do Yanplatonic stuff- Do you mind if you do Yanplatonic Kokushibo x Sister reader? (theres so little. i write it for a reason ;-;) But if you're not- How about Yan! Raihan x Reader? Can be anything you want really- I'm just starved of Raihan content in general rn :(((
If you're not comfortable with yandere requests then PLEASE feel free to get rid of/ignore! Again, Congratulations on your milestone, IM SO PROUDDDD!!!
-TML
THANK YOU!! 😭 Why not both? warnings for mentioning of death and killing in Michikatsu's part only and both parts having yandere themes. Raihan's being more romantic than Kokushibos bit. @trancylovecraft
Tumblr media
*It was really strange in the beginning. Everyone knew that Michikatsu being the oldest and 'normal' twin was assigned to be your father's heir while Yoriichi was unwanted and almost killed but was now destined to go be a priest come his tenth birthday. So where did that leave you?
*The youngest Tsugikuni that no one expected to be born. One heir was all that was needed so what to do with a third child let alone a daughter. You were lucky not to be a twin or more because perhaps their fate would've repeated with you. But since you were both unexpected and unplanned everyone just sorta..kinda didn't know what to do with you.
*Your father had no interest in you from the beginning but he'd be damned if he became a laughing stick twice with a son like Yoriichi so while he didn't care about your existence or bother to interact with you, he ordered that you become 'a proper lady' and one worthy of your status.
*Which was why your favorite parent was your mother. Even if you couldn't spend a lot of time with her either because of your harsh studies and your orders to be kept away from Yoriichi who was always around your mother.
*As a result most of your studies coisided with Michikatsu's minus his fighting training. So you both developed a greater bond than the one's you had with either parent or Yoriichi. He'd take you to sneak out and visit Your other older brother Yoriichi. Not as often as Michikatsu saw him but it was enough for you to love your silent but kind older brother too. Until everything changed.
*Yoriichis true talent was revealed. Your mother passed away. Yoriichi visited you in the middle of the night just to hug you, nothing more, before leaving in the middle of the night. Michikatsu's jealousy increased as did the anger your father possessed. Unbeknownst to you, Your brother was intentionally taking up all your father's attention from Yoriichi not only to make his father forget about the more talented twin in risk of loosing everything, but also to steer his new found frustration off of you. And it worked scarily well.
*Now without your mother and older brother you were left in the care of maids and tutors and barely saw your remaining family anymore. You tried to make it work, really you did. You tried studying hard and becoming the best high society woman you could possibly be to make your father and Michikatsu proud. It worked...a little too well. Because not only did you accidentally overhear your father make arrangements for your arranged marriage to a known wrathful and brutal man, but he planned on not telling you at all until the day of said wedding so you'd have no choice but to go through with it.
*Terrified you sought out your older brother in the middle of his studying to explain what was happening and that you feared for your life. Michikatsu's expression is blank as he calmly regards the way you're shaking and hyperventilating as tears weld up in your eyes. The man he spoke of marrying you too happened to be one of his father's most powerful men. Ruthless in both killing enemies and how he treated others in general so the fear was warranted.
*Michikatsu himself was already married with his wife expecting their first child in six more months so he supposed their father decided that it was time his daughter was married off too. He didn't do anything. Didn't even offer to calm you. Just calmly close his book and place it down. "Have you tried talking to Father or this man?" "You know he wont listen to what I say! He never did! What am I going to do?!" "I see...I'll talk to him tomorrow. I can't guarantee I'll change his mind but perhaps I'll see what I can do. In the meantime my wife is lonely by herself. Why don't you go keep her company for a while?"
*You didn't know what to do. Your life was about to be ruined. But you had to trust your brother to try and steer your father's mind from this. You spent the next three days with your sister-in-law helping her along with maids in preparation for you new niece or nephew. So imagine your shock when news reached you both of your husband to be being found slain by a demon. His body sliced so badly that no one recognized him at first. It should've been a relief but it was really more shock than anything else. Your father was furious however he himself would pass away soon as well. Tripping over the second balcony and passing away.
*You didn't know what happened to either one of them but the look in your brother's eyes when you asked him about it told you all you needed to know. "Do not worry about it. After all ..Big brother will always be there to look after his little sister."
Tumblr media
-You catch his attention either one of two ways. You either keep defeating him and become a second rival to Leon or you are completely indifferent by anything he does. Since he's literally Galar's strongest gym leader let's go with the second option and say you got his attention by being indifferent.
-Raihan is a good looking guy. Very handsome. His friends know it. He knows it. And his fans REALLY know it. It's no secret Raihan has acquired fans of both genders from just his charms and looks alone outside of his strength and status. He can make anyone swoon if he tried hard enough. So that's why when you came along with your indifference it was like a surprise slap across the face to him.
-You were one of the people at the local meet and greet after that year's Pokemon championship. As usual he was unable to defeat Leon but the crowd's after pleading for autographs and pictures from both the gym leaders and Champion was ready in wait for them. He loved greeting his fans. Practically head diving first into the crowds to supply selfies and autographs to his endless fans. So when he meets a group of ladies bashfully waiting for their turn, he gives them the good old charming smile and wink. It sends the whole group into giggles. Except for you. Your bored, deadpanned face never changed other than giving an eye roll.
-This genuinely catches him off guard. Usually no one ever did that to him so perhaps you're a fan jealous you're not getting his full attention. Nope. When he walks over and tries to chat you up you shut him down immediately. "Hey there.~" "NO." No. Just ..No? He hasn't said more than two words to you and you're not even looking at the wide eyed gym leader next to you. "I'm not interested in whatever womanizing antics you got to say. Beat it before I make you." A choked sound of surprise leaves him at that.
-Him? A womanizer?! Sure he was flirty and stuff but that's how he always was! He tries to say something but instead you walk away. Turns out you were only there because your friends dragged you along with them but you didn't want to see Raihan. To you he came off as full of himself and the way he just flirted with everyone just reeked of womanizing behavior.
-Raihan is left shocked, confused, a little bit hurt..and a LOT intrigued by you. He's never met someone like you before and he wants to find out more! He heard one of your friends mentioned your name and looks you up later on social media ended up finding your socials. Naturally he follows you back and flips through them. There's...not a lot really. Just a couple blogged posts from your friends and family, a few pictures of said friends and family and some of your Pokemon, a funny meme or two and.... That's it. Apparently you're not online much and you don't follow a lot of people outside of friends, family, and a few blogs that was about Pokemon.
-Well surely you would appreciate it and follow him by after seeing he followed you. Nope. You straight up ignored him even if you noticed at all. It drives him crazy. Posting everything from cute pics of his team to beautiful views from the back of his flying to selfies of him showing off his admittedly impressive build. But nope. Zero. He'd spend hours obsessively flipping through notifications for any reblogs, comments, or even a like on anything. Nope. Nothing. You don't bother to notice him. And when he tries to get you to notice him, you also ignore any comments or otherwise by him.
-Its frustrating to him! All he wants is to be recognized by you! To show you that you were wrong and he was a really good person. When messaging you online didn't work he tried in person. After all you barely posted anything so maybe you didn't really go online that much. He found your work place in Wyndon City by a picture you posted once of you getting promoted at work. A small little Pokemon groomer's shop. He went there under the guise of getting his duroludon's metal body polished so you wouldn't be freaked out by suddenly seeing him there outta the blue.
-He saw you as soon as you walked in. Brushing down the fur of a minccino as he walked in right in front of everyone. You looked up from the Pokemon with a smile but was shocked and then frowned as soon as you saw his smiling face. "What are YOU doing here?" "I'm in Wyndon visiting Lee but I figured my duroludon could use a good polishing after so long. I heard this place does a good job grooming Pokemon so can I get the big guy in?" You still frowned but didn't seem to be none the wiser. Only grumpily ringing him up as he paid and your coworker took his duroludon to be polished up.
-"I also want to apologize to you." "For what?" "I may have come on in a way that made you uncomfortable. Sorry for that. I swear I'm not like that all the time. It's mostly just an act for the fans. They have a certain image of me." "So you act like a womanizer for publicity stunts?" "Hey. We all do. You think Piers is really introverted and shy? Nah man. He might be punk goth but he's not that emo. It's just what his fans like to see from him." "....Alright. I guess I can buy that. Apology accepted."  "Good. Since we're all cleared up now..Can I make it up to you with dinner?" "Really?" "Really! It's not a date but I would like to get to know you better since I never met anyone like you before. So what do you say?" "....I get off at five. Remember it's not a date."
-He couldn't have been happier. It was a start of a long road of living you.

CHAPTER SEVENTEEN: "But it's cool in a weird way that I wish I could be"
Tumblr media
Mochi is a Japanese rice cake made of glutinous rice pounded into a paste and molded into shapes. It can be eaten on its own or used as an ingredient in various dishes and desserts.
It is often eaten on new years as a tradition, Being a favoured treat among many.
Women paraded back and forth, All tending to the woman resting within her futon.
His mothers chambers, Michikatsu had been awoken by her cries reverberating through the house during the middle of the night. He had been expecting this, Of course. His mother's pregnancy had been long awaited, Only now had it come to fruition.
It had taken hours, Michikatsu unable to sleep had decided to wait outside of her room, Listening to the wails of Akeno and the feverous support of the midwives hired by his father.
His father, Of course, Was nowhere about.
But finally, It was all over. Though he had meant to return to bed once Akeno calmed down, Michikatsu had decided to stick around.
Though he really could care less about his new sibling, He supposed it would only be right to get a first glance.
So here he was, Stood within his parents chambers.
The midwives took no heed to young Michikatsu who shuffled around awkwardly near the corner of the room. It was barely even early morning, The sky outside shining in a light shade of marigold, The sun barely cracked over the horizon to let it in through the window.
None of them wanted to bother with the young master, All of the mid-wives focusing on his mother who had just given birth.
Akeno layed atop her futon, Long ebony hair splayed out around her as she breathed in and out, Closed eyes as she tried to catch her breath.
What loose satiny bedwear she wore was splayed out, Especially at the chest to make way for the new-born resting upon her skin. They were freshly washed, Cleaned of all the grime from her birth.
Michikatsu could barely make them out, Mostly due the the cerulean blue of cloth she was swaddled in.
"Michikatsu.. Come closer."
Michikatsu blinked, Looking towards his mothers face to find out she had finally noticed he was in the room. She breathed, A small yet exhausted smile on her face as she turned to face her eldest son.
Michikatsu obliged, Slowly walking forward amongst the pandemonium of midwifes still hustling about. Almost nervously he approached his mother before him, Who smiled up at her son from her futon.
A tired, Yet genuine smile.
"Closer. Do you want to hold her, Michikatsu..?" Akeno asked, Cradling her daughter close to her chest as she looked up at him with a smile. Michikatsu however, Looked down at her with apprehension.
Holding a new-born, A child that wasn't even birthed an hour ago? That itself wasn't appealing, Coupled with the fact that he himself shouldn't even be here right now, His father always saying that he shouldn't bother to interfere with the more feminine matters of the clan.
But he stepped closer anyways, Just as his mother asked.
"Here, Stretch out your arms.. Michikatsu." Akeno said, The baby cradled near her chest was scooped up into her arms. A hand carefully holding her head, The other on her little back to steady her in Akeno's arms.
"Akeno-hime! Please, You must rest!"
Akeno propped herself up, The mid-wives in the room calling for her to be careful as they continued to tend to her needs. Akeno only ignored their concerns, Beckoning her son as she presented his newest sibling to him.
Michikatsu swallowed back his apprehension, An unsure and rather averse expression as he laid out his hands infront of him. Akeno smiled, The baby still swaddled in her cerulean cloth as she was outstretched to him.
She was lowered, Michikatsu's fingers twitched as his palms finally came in contact with her.
"There you go, Michikatsu. Hold her to your chest, Give her support." Akeno said as she watched Michikatsu react to her. He stared down at her, Examining her almost.
She wasn't even crying, Instead sleeping soundly, Cuddled up warm in her blanket.
Michikatsu gulped, Swallowing down that unfamiliar feeling rising in his throat with a slight frown. Nodding slightly at Akeno's words as he brought her closer to him, Resting her against him, An odd warmth starting to come from her.
Michikatsu could barely speak, Only stare down at her resting face. Her little nose, Her little ears, Her big eyes that were shut soundly asleep. Michikatsu could even see a few tufts of baby hair resting on her head. All of it seemed so..
"No, No.. You need to support her head." Akeno corrected, Gesturing towards the baby's head which laid drooped to it's side, Making her little face start to scrunch up. Michikatsu quickly moved a hand to the back of her head, Lifting it up onto his shoulder.
"Uhm.. Like this?" Michikatsu asked, Her tiny body resting comfortably against him as he showed his mother.
"Yes. You're doing amazing." Akeno nodded with a tired sigh as she lowered back down onto her futon, Her weary body needing the rest, Head laying against the fluff of her pillow as she oversaw her children getting along.
Akeno beamed, Watching her children get along, Just like she had wanted.
"Michikatsu, This is [F/N].. She's your little sister." She spoke with a gleam in her eyes.
"[F/N].." Michikatsu whispered.
Michikatsu only rocked her slightly in his arms, Swearing that once her head hit his shoulder, Her breathing grew lighter than it did before. Still fast asleep, Her curled fingers clutched together in tiny fists.
Michikatsu didn't know what to think, Why he even went to hold her in the first place was a mystery to himself. But he supposed he was happy that he did, Though happiness wasn't quite the right word as his emotions were at war with one and other.
Father had always said he shouldn't get involved with gynecian matters of the family, The one's concerning women. Even leading up to the birth of his next sibling, He had warned Michikatsu to pay no heed entirely, As doing such would distract from his studies as the Tsugikuni's next Daimyo.
It was like that with Yorichii too, Unable to speak or interact with him either, But Michikatsu never obeyed that rule too well just as he was doing now.
Michikatsu knew that his father wouldn't be proud, But Akeno very much was as she watched him rock his little sister back and forth, And right now that was enough.
"She must really like you.. You know, I can already tell you'll be an amazing big brother to her. Treat her well.. Understand?" Akeno spoke, Feeling her body start to relax upon her futon, Growing tired once more.
"Yes, Mother.." Michikatsu muttered, Too focused to listen to her words yet his agreement meant all the same. He held her close, Tight as he could without the worry of harming her. Michikatsu tried not to let his smile show through, Though that task seemed much more herculean by the second.
He'd be the best big brother to [F/N], Michikatsu knew.
☆♡☆
[F/N]'s eyes snapped open, Her body jerking, Gasping for air.
The darkness of her room was the first thing she acknowledged, Only the bare outlines made out from within the complete blackness.
Perspiration dampened her brow as she heaved in and out.
Her body was numb, Pins and needles itching in her legs. [F/N] groaned as she raised a achy hand to her head, Swiping the lather off of her brow before thumping it back down onto the mattress.
Fuck, Her visions had returned. This one was unlike the others as it was much more abstract and splotchy, Not unlike a murky pond.
It wasn't much of a vision, But more of a feeling. Though there were glimpses of settings, Women rushing back, Blurry figures who's faces couldn't be made out- All and all it felt more like a sequence of feelings.
What felt like her head resting against the welcoming warmth of a chest, Her body wrapped in something soft and delicate. It was nothing like her other visions where she had full sight of what she was perceiving, No, This was different.
It was weird.
[F/N] breathed, Steadying her breath and calming the drum of her heart. What it meant, She never knew. [F/N] supposed she'd just need to wait and see, To find out what it meant the next night. Or day, [F/N] could never tell when she was in this pit of a hellhole.
[F/N] groaned, Hands aimlessly grasping at the covers to toss them off. Her body was hit with the cold chill of the shrine once they were finally tossed to the side, [F/N] barely shuddering anymore, Having adapted to the gelidity.
She breathed out as her soles of her feet hit the floorboards, Vapour turning to mist. Feeling an itch, She yawned as she raised another hand to the back of her head. Though instead of the fibres of her hair, [F/N] instead felt the solid touch of something cold.
A brow raised.
[F/N] cupped it in her hands, Feeling around before realising what it was.
It was her hairpin, The little rose shaped sapphire with pretty little perals draping down from it. It was clipped into her hair, [F/N] feeling the cool hardened gem under her touch, She hummed.
She must've put it on and forgotten to take it out when she went to sleep..
"Strange.." [F/N] breathed, Still groggy.
Finally scratching the itch at the back of her head, She rolled her shoulders before pushing herself off of the bed. [F/N] huffed, Knowing that Akaza would bother her if she didn't eat. Eyes still heavy, She turned towards the dresser where a simple meal was scheduled to lay.
[F/N] stopped however, Freezing in her place. It was still there, A plate of tempura laid on the table. But it wasn't what [F/N] focused on as her eyes narrowed onto a shape.
It was.. A book.
One with a hardcover, Thick and sure to have a hefty page count, All of it being bound by silver twine. It sat huddled amongst the piles of bowls and cutlery that had been building up for ages now, [F/N] seeming to loose her clean-streak ever since she got here.
But even so, She didn't remember having any kind of reading material here.
"What the hell.." [F/N] muttered to no one but herself as she stepped forward towards the dresser. Floorboards creaking, Her hands reached out towards the periwinkle cover of the book, A colour she could only make out once she grew closer.
She picked it up, Feeling the texture of the hardcover's cloth under her thumb. [F/N] squinted her eyes, Bringing the book up to her face to translate the title through the shadows.
One.
[F/N]'s face scrunched up once she read the text illustrated on the front cover, There was no title she could recognise. She wasn't even able to make out an author, As there was none listed on the cover. Why it was on her dresser eluded her.
One? The title didn't make any sense to her. Was that simply.. It? Or was it saying that it was the first in some mystery series, One with no name and no author to identify it. [F/N] scoffed slightly.
Moving over to the wall beside her bed space, [F/N] figured she might as well skim through the pages. Leaning over to the wall, She lowered down to see the groupings of tally marks behind her bed. Too many to count at first glance now, But she reached over and began to scratch another one in anyways.
As her nail etched away at the rotting wood of her walls, She thought she might as well find somewhere comfortable to look through the book. The courtyard perhaps? It was the warmest part of this entire place, But it had become rather.. Repetitive to always head there. Another thought came to mind, Making [F/N] hum.
The library.
It had been ages since she had stepped foot in there, Only dipping her toes in the shallow end when she explored the layout of The Infinity Shrine (The name [F/N] used for this place to separate it from the proper shrine, Though now defunct)
[F/N] decided that she should probably go check it out further, Besides it would only be right to read some mystery book in some mystery shrine. Another line was finally added to the tally as she retracted her hand from the wall.
Yawning, [F/N] snatched the plate of tempura before turning on her heel and dragging her feet towards the door. She brushed past the rickety old closet, Too apathetic to change out of her nightwear.
[F/N] groaned, Pinching her temple as she lugged the shoji-door open with her free hand.
☆♡☆
It was a beautiful morning, The sun raising over the skyline.
A quaint village sat within the vastness of a flatland valley, Surrounded by a ring of rocky mountainside. Snow-capped peaks to contrast the morning warmth flooding through the little town, The one that only just started to awaken not long ago.
It was beautiful, The scenery straight out of painting.
Tree's abloom in rosy shades of pink flourished from the branches, Swaying in the gentle wind, Their petals detaching and dancing as they fell down onto the timberland grass. A beautiful scent, The subtle sweet of their saccharine invading the senses.
As the oaken wheels of the coach rattled along the pathway, She breathed it in.
Mitsuri was perched at the back, Sitting comfortably on the ledge as she took in the scenery with a smile. Admiring the forestry, Glancing at the birds chirping in the trees and the critters running around.
She had only awoken a bit ago, Her braided hair unbrushed and her eyes still a little heavy. Even so she wanted to enjoy the slight chill of the breeze, The building warmth of the day.
The village of Hiyohara, It wasn't too big but it wasn't too small either. Mitsuri could tell that they were coming near as she could hear the faraway call of quiet morning chatter start to build, Hiyohara starting to come alive.
Mitsuri breathed, Almost drinking in the brisk of the air.
"Ah.. I see you're up, Mitsuri-chan!" Shinobu half-yawned with her patron smile. The backdoor of the coach creaked open as Shinobu looked down at her colleague, The wheels still rattling along the trail.
Mitsuri hummed.
"Yeah, Just thought I'd get some air before we do some reconnaissance! Besides, Look at all the pretty blossoms! Perfect time for a mission, Eh~?" Mitsuri chirped as she gestured to all the flourishing scenery rolling by.
"Mhm! We'll be arriving soon, But I suppose stopping to smell the roses won't hurt.." Shinobu's smile widened as she finally stepped out onto the ledge, Holding onto the door handle for balance as the coach continued to roll along the pathway.
Mitsuri looked away from Shinobu in favour of watching her feet dangle from the coach ledge. She breathed, Letting spring air flood through her lungs. Shinobu in turn joined her to metaphorically smell the roses as she said, Staring off into the forest line beside them.
Mitsuri felt the silence weigh on her like paperweights, Shoulders sagging only slightly as her legs swung back and forth.
Turning back towards Shinobu, She smiled.
"Ever been out around here, Shinobu-chan?" Mitsuri asked, Tilting her head slightly as she looked up at her.
Shinobu shook her head.
"Not this area, No. Only knew about it since it had a few resources I needed." She replied shortly as she continued to stare out into the timberland, Watching the scampering of squirrels and the sparrows.
Mitsuri nodded slightly, Her smile quirking only a bit as she gripped the hem of her morning kimono. She sighed slightly as the wagon continued to roll along the pathway, The tree's becoming much less frequent in favour of valley grass now.
Mitsuri fiddled with her fingers a bit, A smile returning to her face.
"..Shinobu, I've actually been meaning to talk to you. Since Gyomei's still asleep and all, I think this a good time to talk! You know, Girl to girl? Friend to friend?" Mitsuri asked as Shinobu turned back down to face her.
Mitsuri paused, Considering her words.
"..I just wanna ask if you're doing alright, You seem a bit off is all." She said slowly, As if testing the waters. "I don't wanna intrude or anything, But if you need someone to talk to, You know I'm here for y-"
"Ah! Apologies to cut you off, Mitsuri-chan!" Shinobu interrupted as the coach began to rattle to a stop, Shinobu's smile as present as the daybreak sun. "But it appears that we've arrived~!"
Mitsuri blinked, Slightly taken aback at the interruption as she watched Shinobu swiftly turn on her heel and swing the door open. Leaning on the doorframe, She peeked inside.
"Himejima-san! We have arrived, It's time to wake up now~!" Shinobu warbled into the dimly lit cabin, Eyes landing on Gyomei who was sat sleeping upright in the far corner. Too big of a build to lay down, Almost crampt in the coach (Bless the man that made this vehicle)
He stirred, Shoulders rolling as if waxing off the numbness of the night. That was all the confirmation that Shinobu needed as the cart finally stopped in place. Shinobu quietly shut the backdoor, Smiling as she turned to breathe in the revitalising air.
The coach stopped just before the gates that began the village, Horses neighing as they paused in their pathway.
Mitsuri hopped down from the ledge as a smile crept up on her, The village being a resplendent, Almost otherworldly sort of scene.
It seemed rich for a village, The houses lined up on the minor gradient all seemed so well made. Expensive wood that didn't seem to splinter, Plants flourishing from their clay pots where they sat upon the rocky walls.
Along with statues of assorted creatures, Polished and carved, Sitting like decorative guard dogs along. It certainly seemed religious.
An elevated pathway lined with smoothen andesite rocks. The village was nestled by the steep start of the rocky mountainous ring, Beautiful leaves burst over the edges of the house tiles and swayed slightly in the higher wind.
Mitsuri could smell the freshness of the air, The chilled natural feeling in her lungs as she breathed in. Feeling it on her bare skin, Waving her braids back and forth as the wind ran throughout the entire valley, Making everything sway.
All of it, It was all beautiful.
"Kya~! How come I've never heard of this place before! Oh- Isn't this just adorable, Shinobu-chan~!" Mitsuri squealed as she ran to cup the face of a miniature Maneki-neko statue, Mitsuri admiring the little feline and the golden coin it held.
Shinobu suppressed a flutter of giggles with her hand.
"Quite! However I do believe we shouldn't be touching what's not ours.." She chided softly as she saw the statue was sitting on the wall of one of the houses, Rolling her eyes slightly at her antics.
"Oh, Right!" Mitsuri gasped, Jumping away from the statue as her hand retracted from it like hot coal. "Still.. I need to get one for myself- Oh! I wonder if there's any shops around~!"
Gyomei finally stepped out of the side-door, Making the carriage depressed on his wheels as he stepped onto the foot-ledge. He breathed in the air, Hummed before stepping off onto the stony floor as he turned to Mitsuri.
"Focus.. Kanroji-san, We're here on investigations purposes only.. Perhaps if the reconnaissance goes well you can have time to browse around." He said as he took a moment to settle.
"Ah, Right!" Mitsuri squealed, Slapping the burn of her rosy flush cheeks. "Focus, Mitsuri, Focus..!"
"Well I suppose we should start investigating and questioning locals!" Shinobu piped in, A voice lower than it usually was as she looked back and forth for any prying locals, Finding none, She turned back towards the two.
"Remember what we discussed? If anyone asks, You are headed to the next village over and only lingering as a pitstop, Understand? Don't make yourself seem suspicious." Shinobu uttered.
"Right!" Both Mitsuri and Gyomei nodded in unison. That was all there was left to say as Shinobu straightened out her spider-black kimono and speed walk off somewhere into the village, Her light-wood sandals clacking as she went.
Gyomei in turn, Did the same. Straightening out his own stone-coloured yukata, Gyomei breathed in before turning to walk off in the opposite direction Shinobu did, Hoping to cover more ground while doing so.
Mitsuri, Left alone. Grinned as she fixed up her bed-hair braids. Making sure to pay the driver of the coach, Where the village broke into three separate pathways, Mitsuri skipped through the middle.
Determined to get her answers, Both for Shinobu and [F/N]'s sake.

Akaza couldn't find [F/N].
Akaza's face scrunched up, His nose twitching as he continued to wander around The Infinity Shrine. Usually she would be lingering somewhere in the courtyard, Occasionally dragging her feet somewhere within the hall.
It's not like he had trouble locating people, Usually that is. Akaza's sense for the fighting spirit was often enough to find someone, Even. As even the most mildest of human had at least some spark he could pick up perhaps even from miles away.
But not [F/N], She was annoying like that in the way she had no fighting spirit, At least none that was able to be picked up.
It was different back then, When they had fought upon the roof of the very shrine Akaza was walking through. Back then it was like a forest fire, A roaring, Wrathful sort of spirit that could bring a man to his knees just from minor exposure.
It almost did to Akaza too. He remembered how crippling it felt, How for once in centuries had he genuinely felt shaken to his core. Hair raised straight from his skin and his punches becoming sloppy. Her aura, It was rancid, It was so disgustingly detectable.
If only it was still like that now, It would be almost too easy to locate her.
Akaza's teeth gritted, Hands clenching into fists.
"HEY! Bastard! Where the hell are you?!" Akaza hollered, Irritation simmering in his voice as his voice echoed down old hallway, Terrifying all invertebrates hurriedly scuttling away.
"KOKUSHIBO'S NOT HERE RIGHT NOW!" A muffled voice replied, Seemingly just as annoyed as he was. It sounded not too faraway, Somewhere round the corner and further down the corridor.
Akaza groaned, Muttering curses under his breath as he marched off towards the root of the voice. The box in his hand shook, The floorboards creaking under his weight as he turned the corner. Count on [F/N] to be a pain in Akaza's ass.
He came face to face with double doors, Not one of the shoji-makes but the kind with a silver doorknob and semi-translucent window in the middle. Part of the weird architecture, Akaza couldn't be bothered to care.
He slammed the wooden doors open, A scowl on his face.
"I've been looking for you for ages! Where the hell have you been?!" Akaza hissed
"It warms my heart to know that you were looking for me." [F/N] said flatly, Not taking her eyes off of the book she appeared to be reading as she sat at a desk. Akaza scoffed, Rolling his eyes as he stepped forward.
"What the hell is this place anyways?" He asked. Glancing back and forth the noticeably large room, Noticing it wasn't one he had ventured through before.
"Akaza, How about you look around and then you tell me?" [F/N] groaned as she licked her thumb and used it to turn the page, Face not bothering to turn and look at him, Instead boring into the ink.
Akaza rolled his eyes, Spitting an insult under his breath but ultimately doing as she said.
As he had noted before, It was large. Tall ceilings that seemed to even cut into the second floor. And unlike the rest of the shrine, It was much better lighted. Most likely from the large window peeking out from the end of the room.
Akaza could see out to the docks, The lambent ocean sloshing outside. Though the entire place was still dimly lit, An ultramarine shine rolled off the edges in the room, Giving the entire room a luminescence much more potent than the rest of the shrine.
It would've been wide open if not from the bookcases, Ones that were almost as tall as the ceiling. But what was weird was that they were empty, Webs and dust piles in favour of books. None to be seen, Not on any shelf.
His eyes narrowed.
"A library." Akaza stated, Continuing to scan the area.
"Wow, What an astute observation..!" [F/N] droned on as her eyes intently read the words on the page. Akaza shook his head as he moved forward to where she was sitting, Almost hidden between two of the bookshelves.
"Who shoved you down the stairs?" Akaza remarked with a jeer on his face. Noticing her rather sour behaviour towards him, It was assumedly gonna Akaza in a few minutes if she kept it up.
[F/N] turned to look up at him, Finally prying her eyes away from whatever book she was reading before sighing.
"No one.. Sorry, I just get a bit annoyed when I'm bothered while reading." [F/N] apologised, Glancing back to the book for only a second as she placed it down onto her desk paper down.
Akaza huffed, Free hand moving to push away some of the decorations on the desk.
"Whatever, Here's your food.." He said, Placing the wooden lunchbox . Candles, Ink jars and spare paper side-lined to the edges in favour of the fairly hefty lunchbox, The one [F/N] looked at with apprehension.
"Thanks, But I've kind've already got Tempura." She said, Freehand moving to the other side of the desk where she picked up and presented a plate with untouched tempura, Giving him an apologetic look.
Akaza rolled his eyes.
"Uneaten Tempura." He corrected. "Besides, You'll need all the energy you can get."
Akaza watched as her face scrunch up slightly, Giving him the same look as a kid would do while doing some tedious chore. Akaza was almost ready to tell her off like he did last time, But instead she just rolled her eyes and slumped her shoulders in defeat.
"..Fine, Seems a bit excessive but I'll have it I guess. Don't think you'd let me leave any scraps anyways.." [F/N] sighed.
"Nope. Also got more of the rope you wanted in there, Few more of the nails too."
"Oh.. Yeah, Forgot about that. Really need to start making that rope.." [F/N] muttered, A sort of epiphany-induced look coming over her as she seemed to get lost in thought. Hand wandering, She aimlessly picked up the book.
Akaza huffed.
"You better.." He replied shortly.
He got no response after that.
Akaza watched as she flipped the book back up to face her, Bury her head back into those pages as she hunched over on the desk. [F/N] was out of it, Akaza could tell. Even to the point of momentarily forgetting her own plan of scaling The Infinity Castle.
She didn't really pay attention to him afterwards, Leaving Akaza feeling only slightly uncomfortable as he watched her flick through the book. He could only put up with it for a few moments before deciding to saunter round to her other side.
Sighing, He leant himself up against the wall where the desk was cozied in.
"So.. What are you reading?" Akaza asked, Trying to break the air of awkwardness that seemed to be present around them.
"Some weird old diary." [F/N] responded curtly, Continuing to flick through the pages.
Akaza huffed.
"Looks like a book to me." He remarked as he eyed up the hardcover spine of the book, Examining the blue it was bound in and the hefty page number it was sure to have.
"Looks like a book, Is actually some girl's journal." [F/N] corrected, Slightly flaunting it with the single hand she held it in. "Found it on my dresser and decided to skim through. Don't know how it got there but.. It's kind of interesting so I'll let it go for now."
Akaza frowned.
"I wouldn't, I'd figure out how the hell it got there." He said, Leaning over to take a good scan of the page she was reading.
[F/N] side-eyed him for a second, Glancing back between him and the book.
"..Maybe I just never noticed it before, I'm not exactly the brightest and my room is pretty dark." [F/N] muttered, More to herself than to Akaza as she turned back to the journal. Even she didn't believe it, [F/N] knew it wasn't there before but..
She supposed she just didn't have the energy right now to question it further. Maybe once she choked down the rather excessive amount of food surrounding her, Would she find the will to question how it got there.
She sighed, Feeling the stagnancy in her chest.
Noticing the silence, [F/N] bit her lip.
"..It's about some girl called 'Akeno Matsubara'" [F/N] spoke, Looking up at Akaza without turning her head at all. "Right now I'm just reading about her upcoming marriage to some man. Apparently she was some noblewoman of sorts from the Sengoku period.."
Akaza 'hmphed' before leaning over a bit further, Scrutinizing both her and the pages.
"Sound's boring." He stated simply as he read a few lines himself, Mundanity being the takeaway.
"Well it's not like I've got much else to read here.." [F/N] sighed as she half-heartedly gestured to the empty rows on the bookshelves, Voice and movement dripping in boredom "If you haven't noticed.. I don't have much to do."
Akaza didn't need to look again to notice the significant emptiness of it all, He felt it in his skin. Akaza huffed, Almost, Almost feeling pity for her. He could leave whenever he wanted, She could not.
Pitiful, That's what she was. Akaza almost debated getting her a few more books to fill the shelve-
CREAK!
Both bodies at the desk jolted. [F/N] quickly slapping the journal down while Akaza instantly shoved himself up from the wall he leant on.
Both on guard, Both of their muscles tensing.
The noise that echoed out, Both knew very well what it was. Akaza especially as he had caused it only a few minutes ago, From him slamming open that door, The creak erupting from the hinges had happened again.
[F/N] swallowed though her mouth was dry, Due to the way they were positioned, They were unable to see the double-doors due to a bookshelf being in the way. [F/N]'s breath hitched.
Was it Kokushibo? He couldn't be here- Not while Akaza was present! He'd catch him-
"Oh, Goddamnit.. Who the hell let you in here?!"
Akaza hissed, Making [F/N] whip her head up to glare at him. But Akaza wasn't focused on her, Only staring at the figure lingering by the bookcase. [F/N] noticing this, Drew her attention towards the person.
And suddenly, [F/N] groaned.
"I could say the same thing about you, Akaza-dono!" Kaigaku stood in his full unshameful glory by the bookcase. His beady, Electric blue eyes glaring into Akaza as he held some kind of basket in his hands.
Though he eventually noticed [F/N], His demeanour instantly softening up as he raised the basket in his hands.
"Oh, Um! [F/N]-sama! I brought you food!" Kaigaku grinned, Holding up a fair wicker of assorted peaches like a cat with a bloody mouse in it's maw. Proudly displaying it as if he didn't see the building mountain of food surrounding her.
If the look on [F/N]'s face could kill, Kaigaku would be a bloody smear across the library floor.

Skipping along the stony pathway, Mitsuri's blush flourished under the morning rays.
The feeling of the air seeping into her skin, Her braids dancing as she pranced around the expanse of the village-space. It was revitalising, Even though Mitsuri travelled all over, The air here seemed much fresher around here, It was energising.
Though she was focused on her mission to the core, She couldn't deny that she enjoyed the scenery. The architecture of the lined buildings was traditional, All decorated to the nines statues and flourishing in plant life. Hanging from the windows, Potted in clusters by the doors.. Botany thrived.
Mitsuri breathed in the air once more, Though this time she picked up a rather enticing scent. Her eyes lit up, Sniffing the air once more she could definetly smell it now, Much more potent.
That smells good. For the notorious glutton that Mitsuri was, That was the least of her thoughts as she turned on her heel and headed in the direction of that saccharine scent. Mitsuri grinned, An opportunity for both food and investigation.
"Hello~?"
Mitsuri chirped as she peered around the corner of one of the houses, Bright in the eyes as she noticed what looked to be a merchants stall starting to open. A few boxes of assorted items surrounded it, A water filled pot hung over a little ember at the side.
An older man standing behind the counter. He looked up, A kind smile on his weathered face.
"Ah, Greetings! I see you're up rather early!" He commented with mirth as he knelt down to lug a few boxes up onto the stand.
"Oh my! I'm so sorry, Should I come back later?" Mitsuri spoke almost apologetically as she bowed down.
The man shook his head, Instead waving her over.
"No, No! Come sit down, I'll make you something to eat! I'm always happy to serve customers!" He laughed as he started to unbox some of the packages, Waving her over with one hand.
Mitsuri smiled, Praising how kind he was both in her head and out loud as she pranced over to the stool-setup he had at the stand. Quickly sitting down on one of the tall stools, She leaned over on the counter.
"Kyah~! Thank you so much! Apologies, I'm not from around here..!" Mitsuri explained with a smile as the man started to unpack the food from the boxes, Mitsuri now realising that this was a breakfast stand.
Her eyes started to shimmer as she watched him lift mochi-dough from the boxes, Realising that this was where that beautiful smell was coming from.
"I can tell, Would probably remember you from your hair!" The man commented as he placed the roll of mochi-dough down onto the counter. "So tell me, Traveller, What brings you around these parts?"
Mitsuri hummed, Swinging her legs like an excited child as she scratched the back of her head.
"Ah- Was on my way to the next village over but decided to stop here for some food before heading off~!" Mitsuri answered with a grin, Happily keeping up her calm as she chatted to the man.
"Well, I suppose you're in at the right time! Though, Don't really have the ingredients for much at this time, But I do have some left over ingredients for Mochi. I understand dessert is not ideal breakfast food but.."
"Oh don't worry, That's no problem to me at all~!" Mitsuri cheered much more enthusiastically than she probably should have, Her blush burning like an inferno on her cheeks.
The man chuckled slightly.
"Good to know! Red bean paste fine by you?" The man asked, Beginning to knead the dough with his seasoned hands.
"Fine by me~!"
"Aha~! Umeko, I finally found you!"
Mitsuri's eyes widened as a familiar, Jovial voice called out from behind her. Whipping her head behind her, She was met with Shinobu strolling towards them in leisure. Mitsuri raised a brow, Watching as she came closer.
"Umeko..?" Mitsuri muttered to herself, Watching her saunter.
Shinobu's smile widened as she approached, Her glossy eyes meeting with the green of Mitsuri's. A quick look shared between them, It made Mitsuri gasp softly before jerking her head back towards the man.
"Ah- Yes! I forgot to introduce myself, My name is.. Fujimori, Umeko! This is my sister and one of my travel companions, Hina." Mitsuri introduced, Gesturing towards Shinobu.
Shinobu, Her eyes widened slightly at the choice of last name, Before regaining her exterior smile and turning towards the man with a courteous bow. Quickly moving to sit on the adjacent stool to Mitsuri, She beamed at her.
"Aha.. Umeko, I almost lost you there for a minute! You should know by now not to get distracted by the smell of food." Shinobu chided softly as she turned to Mitsuri, The man continuing to knead the dough.
"Aha.. Well you know me.." Mitsuri laughed off, Rubbing the back of her head.
The man smiled as he massaged the dough with his hands.
"I see..! My name is Takashi, Tenko. As you can see, I'm a noticeably passionate chef!" Tenko chuckled as he gestured towards the dough he pressed in his hands, Glancing at Shinobu. "You want some? This mochi is the best in the village, If I must say!"
"Ah.. No, No. I must decline! " Shinobu agreed before looking back towards the busy man. "However, On the topic of this village, I must admit I'm interested! It's a rather beautiful place, Pretty prosperous too~?"
Tenko nodded along to her words, A smile on his face as grasped onto a smaller knife and begin to cut the dough into eighths.
"Suppose so! Business is never slow.. Crime isn't a particular issue here-" Tenko listed off as he reached into one of the box, Pulling out a little bag filled with red paste. "Personally, Everyone here is like family to one and other. We help each other out, It's how we operate! Also the reason why we prosper, If you ask me."
Shinobu nodded as she watched him continue to dice the dough, A somewhat thoughtful smile as she happily sat on the stool.
Tenko chuckled under his breath, His smile broadening only a little wider.
"That, And the faith, That is..!" He laughed slightly, A joke he easily dismissed as he shook his head.
Both Shinobu and Mitsuri perked up at that, Their minds flipped like a switch as both of them got on game. Shinobu especially, His words seeming to catch her fancy as she leaned just a bit closer to Tenko.
"Faith? What do mean by that?" Shinobu asked with a sweet little tune to her voice, Almost sickeningly so. However Tenko didn't seem to mind as he began to divide the paste between the eighths.
"Ah.. This village you see is housed next to some religious group, They work closely with the village and such. We export food to them for a fee.. They come down during festivals, Business usually booms with the extra lot of people around you see!" Tenko explained as he began to roll the dough.
"Oh! How interesting!" Shinobu cheered slightly. "Do you mind telling me more? I must say you've peeked my interest!"
Mitsuri internally sighed as she listened to Shinobu and Tenko idly chat, Despite her elation that they had gotten something from the conversation- Mitsuri was simply glad that she didn't need to ask the questions.
She smiled at Shinobu, Who intently played along with Tenko's words. Mitsuri was never that good with acting gigs, So she was glad that there was someone here that had the guts to do it.
Mitsuri's lips thinned.
Surprisingly well.
Tenko hummed as he started to fold the mochi dough over the filling.
"Can't exactly remember their name but.. I'm pretty sure it's a gathering of Shinto-Buddhist believers. Some splinter group, Actually. Only thing I really remember about them is that they believe in some sort of 'Lotus' thing.." Tenko trailed, Waving his free hand around as if throwing his words to the wind.
Shinobu's eyes narrowed on him, Her lips pursing only slightly.
"And.. Do you believe in their doctrines at all? Any truth to them?" Shinobu asked, Tilting her head.
"Oh, Who knows! Me and my wife have never been particularly religious, But we can't deny the fortune that has came to the village!" Tenko laughed as he finished rolling the dough into little cream coloured chunks.
"Right, I see.." Mitsuri mumbled, Her mind somewhere further off as she listened to them speak.
"I must admit I am rather curious about the faith, You've peaked my interest! Me and Umeko here have always been quite religious, And before we head out again it would be pleasant to go make a few offerings to the Kami we worship! For good luck, And such.." Shinobu said, Eyes not removing from his.
Tenko frowned, Shaking his head.
"Oh, Erm- It's rather high up within the mountain, I'm not quite sure you'll make it up there and down if you want to make it to the next village over.." He said, Slightly awkward now as her stare got just the tiniest bit more intense.
"Our schedule is flexible." Shinobu stated, Her voice holding much more urgency than it did before yet her face stayed the same.
The little cream coloured chunks sat steady on Tenko's palm, His movements paused as he was about to place them in the metallic pot beside the stand. Looking into Shinobu's eyes, His own narrowed.
Mitsuri bit her lip, Breathing in a sharp hitch of that energizing air. It didn't do much to help however, As she wondered if Tenko had decided that something might be up with them. Could he know? Was he involved with this so called cult somehow?
But before long, Tenko raised his hand, Gesturing up towards one of the unfathomably high mountainsides that suffocated the village in a ring.
"Up on the mountains, Over by the north side..! They're a secluded bunch but when they come down for festivals and such, They're rather polite and respectful. I'm sure they wouldn't mind accepting a few offerings." Tenko said, Finally plopping the little mochi balls into the heated water.
Shinobu's smile started to soften, Finally relaxing on her barstool as she laid back.
"I see! I apologise for bothering you so much!" Shinobu said as she bowed her head towards him, A gesture of apologia as she spoke.
"It's alright, I don't mind. Besides," Tenko said, Bending down to pick up a metallic lid and placing it over the steaming pot. "Your food will be ready in about twenty minutes, You can come back later to pick them up if you want to continue exploring the village. Is that good with you, Fujimori-san?"
Mitsuri's eyes widened.
"Oh, Um! How much do I owe you?" She gasped, Chiding herself about forgetting payment as she reached into her obi for the money she stored in there. Completely ignoring the weird look Shinobu gave her as she did.
However before Mitsuri could pull out her purse, A hand softly gripped onto her wrist.
"Ah, Don't worry about it! It's free of charge." Tenko assured, Relenting his easy grip on her wrist with a kind smile. Mitsuri shook her head, Almost jumping up from the stool she was perched on.
"Oh, No! Theres no possible way I can accept this, You've been so kind and helpful.. Please, Let me pay!" Mitsuri implored as she leaned towards him, Her heart aching as she fished out her purse-pouch and presented it to him.
But Tenko just shook his head and smiled, Nudging her purse away from him..
"No, No. Think of this as a welcome to town gift, Besides if you're going to be travelling up the mountain then you'll need plenty of energy! I'll set some extra's on for your journey there too.."
Mitsuri's blush burned bright, Her smile sweet and wide as she looked at him with her trademark adoration. Her hands ran to grasp his, Tenko's eyes widened as he was suddenly faced with the burning up visage of his customer.
She grinned, Pulling him into an over the counter bear hug. Mitsuri's strong grip holding him as tight and as gratefully as she could.
"Thank you so much sir, You have no idea how much this means to me!"
Tenko sighed with a kind smile, Lightly patting her back as he returned the favour.
Mitsuri spoke her goodbyes to the man, Shinobu's following after as they departed from the stand. Mitsuri skipped behind Shinobu as she strode off, Her stride determined as they both headed to find their third colleage, Gyomei.
Mitsuri breathed, Skipping behind Shinobu as they searched for him. The village became more alive by the minute, People starting to venture out from their homes and wander the streets as they went.
Smiling, Mitsuri greeted them all with a chipper tone.
Smiling, Shinobu's pace only quickened.

"The hell are you even here for? You're not exactly welcome here, You little shit."
"Why I'm here is none of your business!"
"The annoying fucking voice in my ear is making it my goddamn business!"
[F/N]'s brows were knitted as she continued to read the next passage in the journal, Though it felt harder and harder by the second from the constant drone of argument in the background.
Her hands gripped the pages, Needing to restart the same line for the fifth time as she was interrupted again. Her breathing became manual, And if either of them bothered to look closer they would've seen veins start to burst in her forehead.
Kaigaku scoffed at Akaza's words, Nose pointing into his face.
"I think that's just the Tinnitus, Akaza-dono! Oh excuse me for saying, But with how horribly sickly you look, I wouldn't put it past you!"
"Oh, That's it! I'm going to fucking tear you a new on-"
"SHUT UP!"
[F/N] finally snapped, Whipping her head over to the two demons spatting on the other side of the room. Both of them instantly wound their jaws shut once they heard her shrill scream, Both taking glances back from her to each other.
[F/N] muttered curses under her breath as she turned back towards the journal, Her hand sluggishly wandering up to the basket of peaches. The mountain of food surrounding her barely half-eaten as she grasped another ripe peach into her hand.
Akaza groaned, Harshly shoving Kaigaku out of his face who shot him a nasty look. He didn't bother returning it as he waltzed over to [F/N], Who half-nibbled into the punchy skin of the peach with her focus entirely on the book.
Leaning up against the wall beside her, He spoke.
"..The hell are you gonna do about him?" Akaza said lowly, Eyes darting from [F/N] to Kaigaku who lazed against the wall from the other side of the room, Staring them down from afar.
She didn't look at Akaza, [F/N] only continued to nibble on the peach.
"What can I do about him, Akaza?" [F/N] sighed. She single-handedly flipped the page, Taking a rather generous bite into the lush peach in her hand. "He's under Kokushibo, I tell him to leave and he'll snitch." She finally took her eyes off the journal for a second, Shooting him a calm yet irritated look to which Akaza sneered at.
"Oh, Come on. You can read that journal thing later, Don't you think you should be dealing with that brat first? Especially if that thing has actual information about.. You know." Akaza eluded, His voice low and quiet.
Her escape, Those were the words that Akaza meant to say. But she knew he wouldn't dare to speak them while Kokushibo's lap dog was around. [F/N] could see him watching intently from the farther side of the library, Knowing that his enhanced hearing was enough to listen in.
"Yeah, About that training regiment you mentioned a while back." [F/N] lied, Trying to keep her eyes as conspicuous as possible and away from Kaigaku. "Besides, I'll take care of it later, I've got better things to do right now than deal with you two."
Akaza scoffed, Rolling his eyes.
"Like what? Aren't you gonna come up with some plan to get him out of your hair? Come on, The hell you acting so bored for?" Akaza questioned as she watched her shoot him an exasperated look.
[F/N] shook her head. It was none of his business why she felt so lacklustre and he had no right to be questioning her as such. Taking another chunk out of the ripeness of the peach, She shrugged her shoulders.
"Like reading the journal, It's actually getting interesting. Not to mention sleep, It's only been an hour or two since I woke and I'm honestly still a bit groggy." [F/N] said calmly, Yet there was a firm pique to her voice. "Besides, If he was gonna tell Kokushibo that you were here he would've done it by now. Quite frankly, I don't even know why he hasn't snitched."
"He hasn't snitched yet because he's a weaselly little bitch who likes snapping his jaws at the bigger dogs." Akaza retorted, Folding his arms firmly.
"What was that, Akaza-dono?"
Both of them drew their attention to Kaigaku, Who had moved closer in the time that they talked with one and other. That bootlicking expression was prominent on his face, Toothy smile and all.
Akaza didn't like the look of it as he gritted his teeth, Veins almost popping from his clenched fists as he pushed himself up from the wall.
"I said that you're a weaselly little bitch who likes picking fights with people that could bench you like a paperweight." Akaza repeated, Slowly so that Kaigaku could pick up every syllable on his tongue.
He snarled as he looked at Akaza, Kaigaku's claws itching to get to his neck as he stepped closer.
"Just because you consider yourself strong right now, You know you can't attack me." Kaigaku eluded, A putrid memory appearing in Akaza's mind. The warning of how Kaigaku wouldn't hesitate to go run off and tell Kokushibo.
It made him feel weak, Akaza almost rolled his shoulders back in anticipation for a fight.
Though an hand gently, Yet firmly pulled him back by the wrist.
"Can you two just.. Not start another fight? Peace and quiet is a very viable option, You know." [F/N] sighed as she softly tugged Akaza away from Kaigaku, An exasperated expression on her face as her stare bored into the boy in front of him.
Kaigaku's eyes widened, His body jolting as if from a shock.
"Y-Yes [F/N]-sama!" Kaigaku chirped, His demeanour flicking like a switch at the first sound of her words. Instantly the scowl on his face dissolved into that of submission, His eyes focused intently on the woman in front of him.
Akaza sneered.
"Fucking dog.." He muttered under his breath as [F/N] let go of his wrist, The warmth fading on his skin.
"Thank you.." [F/N] sighed as she picked up her half-eaten peach once more, Taking another few chunks out of the fruit. A glint appeared in Kaigaku's eyes as he watched her take a bite.
"..Do you like them? They're handpicked!" Kaigaku asked with a toothy grin.
[F/N] chewed into it, Tasting the punchy lushness of the peach on her tongue as she glanced at him.
"..They're fine, Thank you." [F/N] nodded slightly through her consumption, A bored somewhat monotone reply that seemed to make him wag his metaphorical tail.
Akaza rolled his eyes, Scrutinizing Kaigaku.
"You know.. We're trying to have a private conversation here, Don't you have anything else to do? At all? Neither of us want a fucking rat around." He said which earned him a look from [F/N], Warning him not to start another draining fight.
"..I'm not a rat." Kaigaku's grin got more strained as it turned to Akaza, Most definetly trying not to go for the jugular.
"Erm.. Well I mean, Aren't you? You must be an informant for Kokushibo, Otherwise why would you be here?" [F/N] asked lazily as she watched him turn to her with a sort of quizzical look.
Kaigaku scratched the back of his head.
"Uh.. I wouldn't put it that way, [F/N]-sama! I'd see me more.. As your assistant!" Kaigaku chimed, Snapping his fingers. "Sure I might tell my master a few things, But that's just for your sake! Besides, If you want anything, I'm willing to get you a few things!"
"..I get all that from Akaza, Just without the cons." [F/N] bluntly said, Making Kaigaku's smile instantly drop from his face.
"Exactly, So get out of here." Akaza ordered, An arm raising to point in the general direction of the door, His broken-glass eyes kept focused on the way Kaigaku's face contorted at his verbal contribution.
Kaigaku could barely supress a sneer as he glared at him. How dare he try to order him around when Akaza wasn't even suppose to be here in the first place? It almost surprised him, His lack of good conscious.
The gall he had, Kaigaku thought. If he wanted to survive he should keep his mouth shut.
He 'hmphed', Narrowing his eyes in on him.
"I'm here full time now, Since you revealed my position to my master that means I don't need to watch from afar now. Sorry but.. I'm not going anywhere, Not while Akaza-dono is here." Kaigaku said, Almost smugly as he eyed him up and down.
Full-time? Akaza felt something start to burn in his chest. Remembering the rope still stored in the food crate, There was no way [F/N] would be able to construct it with him around. There would be no way for her to get out and give him his end of the deal.
Akaza sighed, Stepping forward as he pinched his temples.
"..You know what? Fuck it."
"ACK-"
Suddenly a fist slammed into the side of Kaigaku's head, Flesh tearing in two as the top half of Kaigaku's flew off from his jaw.
It slammed against the wall, Splattering ichor everywhere. Blood bursting from both his stumbling body and the half-head flopping down with a wet slap onto the old wooden floorboards.
"Akaza!" [F/N] scolded, Her eyes widening as she glared at the dripping red coming down from his fist.
Akaza breathed an almost relieved sigh as he glanced at her.
"What? The little bastard deserved it." He shrugged. Kaigaku's body stumbled aimlessly before he regenerated, Flesh growing back into his head with those same black tufts drooping from his head.
"Y-You basta- ACK-!" Akaza's fist collided with him again, Shooting another spray of blood across the floorboards and another headpiece against the wall.
"I'm not comfortable with harming children, Akaza. Human or demon." [F/N] stated as she watched Kaigaku's near-headless body stammer and stumble around, Hands grasping at where his missing crown was.
"Brat. How old are you?" Akaza asked as his head regenerated once more.
Kaigaku hissed.
"I-I'm nintee- ACK!"
"Well, He's not a child." Akaza stated as he shook the blood off like dirt from his fists, A sort of ick on his face as it hit the floor.
"..I guess so?" [F/N] shrugged though she still didn't seem satiated, Watching on edge, Shoulders raised as she squirmed at the sight of all the blood splattered and festering on the floorboards.
Kaigaku's body finally wobbled back out of Akaza's range, His feet trying to balance themselves as his head finally grew back up to it's full unglory, An enraged scowl on his face that landed on Akaza.
"Y-You bitch!" Kaigaku stammered out, His face lit up like a flame He growled, Almost like a wild animal as he stomped towards him.
"That's it! That's it- You're fucking dead, Akaza- You're fucking dead! I'm gonna make sure he rips you apart like butchered meat-" Kaigaku ranted off as marched towards Akaza, Almost ready for a fight.
"Oh, You really wanna do this?" Akaza readied himself, Stepping forward as he was ready to throw another punch.
[F/N] on the other hand, Stiffened up.
[F/N]'s eyes finally lit up for a second, That monotone, Dull look started to shake off as she finally pushed herself up from the desk. Akaza whipped his head around to look at her, Eyes wide as he heard her sigh.
[F/N] shook her head, Casually placing the peach down onto the desk.
"Counter offer."
It happened in a single moment.
One second, [F/N] was sat down against the little library desk. The next, The sapphiric pin was unsheathed from her hair, Flicked like a butterfly knife against her neck.
"[F/N]!" Akaza yelled as he watched her pace back away from the two, Who looked at her in absolute shock as she held the firm nichirin silver against her jugular. Her eyes darted back and forth from them.
"[F/N]-sama!" Kaigaku gasped as the oncoming fight was broken up immediately at her actions, Blackened eyes darting towards her.
[F/N] just stood there soundlessly as her eyes dug into Kaigaku, Who stood frozen like a startled stag. It was almost challenging, Her stare. [F/N] holding the pin up like it was nothing to her at all.
She breathed.
"You're not telling Kokushibo anything, Alright? Not if you want this thing to draw some blood." [F/N] stated as she watched him stammer with a furrowed brow, Akaza beside her being prepared to lunge and disarm her at any moment.
Kaigaku gritted his teeth.
"Stop it, D-Do you not have any survival instincts?!" Kaigaku yelled, Shrill and loud as he watched her fiddle with the makeshift switchblade in her fingers, Ready to rush forward at any moment.
"Do you?" [F/N] asked, An almost bored look in her eyes as the silver of the hairpin pressed just a bit harder against the skin of her neck. "You wanna live right? My life is tied with yours, I die you die. So unless you wanna keep your head then I'd stay right there, Alright?"
"Y-You couldn't kill yourself with that thing!" Kaigaku yelled.
"Oh, No. Of course I couldn't," [F/N] agreed, Making him stare in horror/confusion as she spoke. "There's no way I could do any lethal damage with this little thing, Not while you two are here."
"But." [F/N] started. "Even if he doesn't believe me, Kokushibo will have no choice but to kill you off because I mean.. Isn't your job to make sure I stay alive and well? A few 'claw-shaped marks' on the neck should do the job.. So if you don't want your head rolling on the floor, I'd stay quiet."
Kaigaku's eyes were wide and wild, Staring in horror at the woman in front of him. Didn't she have any kind of survival instinct? None at all?! The thought of that was unfathomable to him, So much so that he could barely comprehend the sight in front of him.
There was no way he could loose his leverage here. Kaigaku's fingers shook as he watched her stare bore into him. But what could he do? He couldn't upset her, He couldn't attack her, He had to appease her- Otherwise-
Kaigaku's lip shook as he pried it open.
"..Fine." He spat out, Fingers curling into fists.
"Cool. Now get the hell out of here so me and him can have a private conversation." [F/N] ordered, Pointing towards the door in the exact same way that Akaza did only a few moments ago.
"..Yes, [F/N]-sama." Kaigaku gritted as he swiftly turned on his stiff heel, Breathing unnaturally steady as he marched out towards the door. [F/N] watched him go, A sort of tired look on her face as she watched him go.
SLAM!
And there it was, The crashing of the door that shook the frame of the room. It didn't bother her as she heard his angry footsteps walk out through the hallways, Calmly she stood there, Sighing in relief as she lowered the pin.
She wasn't out of the woods just yet however, As a hand gripped onto her shoulder and yanked her forward.
"The hell was that?! Are you fucking stupid?!" Akaza hissed as he pulled her close towards his face, So close that the saliva from his maw almost got on her face. [F/N] narrowing her eyes, Pushed him back.
"..For getting rid of the Kaigaku problem?" She said as paced back from him, Firmly removing his hand from her shoulder as she stared at him unshaken from the ordeal.
Akaza just stared at her, Looking at her in the eyes. The way she seemed so unbothered by it all, Looking at him like it was nothing.. It startled him. Akaza couldn't even sense how she felt from her aura, Though from the last time he supposed that was for the best.
But still, Akaza gritted his teeth as he tried to find something to say.
"Just- Just don't fucking do that shit, You hear..?!" Was all he could say, The thumping of his dead heart only beginning to calm. [F/N] shrugged.
"Okay, You haven't lost your ticket to number one yet, Akaza." [F/N] said as she sat back down onto her wooden chair, Picking up the peach and munching out a generous chunk of it.
Akaza just looked at her, Almost disgusted by her words. Pitiful he thought, The racing of his heart barely calmed. He watched as she picked up the book again, Going right from where she left off.
The way she acted, It would of been terrifying.
For a normal person, That is.
[F/N] on the other hand began to read again, Skimming through the lines as she singlehandedly clipped the pin right back into her hair. [F/N] yawned as flipped the page, Her placement in the book getting up to the part where this Akeno woman was getting hitched.
Though her eyes glimmered once she landed on a particular line, A memory resurfacing from within the depths of her mind as she read it. Brows furrowing, She read it again. The same result, [F/N]'s breath stopped.
'From this day forward, I am now known as Akeno Tsugikuni'
☆♡☆
"To start off.. I don't think this will work out, Not for me."
Gyomei's voice ruminated throughout the entire room, The confined walls keeping it firmly inside.
Shinobu, Mitsuri and Gyomei all sat around a table within the rented out room of the town's inn. The homely little set up being cosy to the three of them, A few futons laid out to the side with a small table and a few mats being the only furniture there.
Apart from the decorations that was, A few lanterns were lit up giving the room a flickering warm glow. The windows were locked shut, Doors locked and suspiciously eyed from time to time just in case anyone tried to come in.
The faint ember soaked into the skin, Warmth seeping in deep as they sat to converse around the table. The smell of the burning candles inside flooded into the nose, A beautiful scent that Shinobu breathed out.
"I must say that unfortunately.. I agree." She said with a little frown on her face, An almost contemplative look playing in her eyes as she spoke. "Do not take this the wrong way.. But you are a rather sore thumb when it comes to looks and demeanour, Himejima-san. I had hoped we would be able to scout around and skip straight to a fight.. However it's beginning to look a lot more complicated then I had imagined."
Shinobu said as she examined the rather bulky stature of the man in front of her, Him towering above the both of them by a wide margin with muscles large enough to wrestle a bear.
Though effective in combat, It had became all the more obvious as their discussion went on. Gyomei just was not suited for this kind of thing, For a stealth focused mission.
"Ah.. I'm sorry you came out all this way just to be sent back, Himejima-sama.. Are you sure there isn't any way you can come along? Not at all?" Mitsuri apologised as she bowed down slightly, A frown on her face.
Gyomei shook his head.
"No.. From the information we've gathered here today.. The best course of action is for me to stay out of this mission for now." Gyomei concluded with his hands still in prayer. "As much as I would like to go on.. It would not be right."
"Yes, From what we've heard it sounds like it would be tough to convince them to let us in." Shinobu started, Her brows knitted in thought. "I'll send out a crow to the slayers I have on my roster, Hopefully they'll be enough to make up for your absence."
"Aha.. When you said infiltration into the cult, I had assumed that you had meant finding what member was the demon then slaying them! Not playing pretend, Shinobu-chan!" Mitsuri joked, Smile reappearing on her face all the same.
"Yes.. I did too." She sighed as her hand slipped into the satchel attached to her ebony kimono, A thick wisteria-patterned pen quick to follow. "However it seems like we will be playing the long game. Not preferred, However doable."
"I'm fine with it!" Mitsuri chirped, Smiling as she grasped the hems of her candy pink kimono "Might even be a little interesting, You know! Being 'Umeko' was pretty fun!"
Gyomei nodded along to Mitsuri's words, His head turning towards her slightly as he listened on. Sighing, He would most likely need to head back home now, If not take an extended vacation just to stick around if backup was needed.
However Oyataka-sama would get suspicious, Especially if he takes it out of nowhere. Besides, He still had someone waiting at his estate, A rather important conversation needed to be said when Gyomei had nothing to say.
Though Gyomei's brows furrowed, Only for a second. His breath hitched, An idea coming to his head.
"..I shall request a contact of my own.. If that is alright with you, Kocho-san." Himejima spoke, The beads coiling his hands clacking together softly as he spoke. Shinobu looked up towards him as the tip of her pen pressed against the paper.
She hummed, A smile coming upon her face.
"I suppose if you trust this contact to keep this all confidential, Then I see no harm in it!" Shinobu answered, Nodding towards Gyomei before she began to write down upon the paper.
"Now I feel left out.. I don't really have anyone to ask for help..!" Mitsuri laughed as she scratched the back of her head awkwardly, Feeling a bit left out between the two of them together.
"No need to worry, Mitsuri-chan!" Shinobu laughed as she scribed into the paper. "With the people, We have more than en-"
CLANK!
Three heads jerked over to where the door was.
Shinobu shut her mouth immediately, The room going so silent that even the faint flicker of fire could be heard from within the lanterns. Outside, They could hear muffled movement. The stammer of footsteps, The faint cursing of a voice.
Shinobu's eyes darted back and forth from Gyomei to Mitsuri, Mitsuri meeting her wide-eyed stare with one of her own. Both of them shared a silent conversation, Gyomei sharing their quiet talk as they all froze up to listen to more.
Shinobu sat down her pen, Making sure it didn't even make a tap on the table. Silently she pushed herself up onto her feet, Both Gyomei and Mitsuri waiting in anticipation as she began to sneak towards the door.
Shinobu moved quietly, The floorboards that would usually creak did not dare when she moved so swiftly. Her eyes on the silver of the doorknob, The little turn lock below it.
Reaching the door, Her hands moved towards the turn lock. One on the doorknob, Another pinching the lock, Ready to turn.
Mitsuri breathed in, Her hand ready to reach for her sword.
Gyomei stiffened, His fingers subconsciously curling into fists.
"AH-!"
In one swift move, Shinobu switched the lock and wrenched the door wide open. Something thumped against the floor in a yelp, A human shaped girl lying dizzy on the floorboards, Having previously leaned up against the door.
She was mousy, Much younger than the three of them. With blonde hair tied up in pretty little ribbons and a kimono that seemed rather oversized on her.
Though what suprised them the most, Was that Mitsuri and Shinobu recognised her.
Mitsuri spoke first, Her voice terribly shocked.
"..Maika Heihachiro!"

Hello! This is my first post so if it comes out a little crappy I apologize, same goes for grammar mistake’s or anything els that may be wrong. Anyway I hope I don’t bore you too much with reading all this so here you go.
Muzan x Y/N Platonic (father and daughter)
Tumblr media
I feel Muzan would be a VERY overprotective father as in you would not be able to leave the infinity fortress alone and without supervision from either himself or one of the kizuki. He would mostly likely not let you meet the kizuki until you’re at least 100+ years old and even then he wouldn’t let you meet them, so you’d probably spend most of your days alone or with him and Nakime. When he’s out with his fake family’s or just way to busy to keep an eye on you he’d tell Kokushibo to babysit.
One’s you’ve grow up he’d trust you a little more to do things on your own, but don’t get your hopes up cuz it’s just a little. He probably wouldn’t hit you and only yell at you if he got to stressed and wasn’t able to calm himself down, but would make it up to you by buying you something nice like a new kimono or a toy something he’d think you’d like. Unfortunately I don’t see him knocking on a door that is in his own infinity castle so he probably just walks in your room whenever he wants. You probably don’t have any siblings so it’s only you and Muzan but you’ve never really needed anyone els. It’s just you and your dad, but you wouldn’t have it any other way.

V.
A stronger wind sways the branches of the weeping willow. Below it, a lone figure.
Seated on the wooden bench, you’re weaving a small basket, focused on the task with a tense expression, a crease between your brows. Your hair is in disarray, strands like silk whipping against your stony features.
Nearby, Michikatsu stands by the still mirror of the pond, gazing up at the sky. There will be heavy rains this season. The idle thought melts away as he turns, his attention drawn by the movement of your hands. The silence continues for a long while.
“Their lives weigh down upon me.” His men. All of them dead in the events two weeks prior. He still feels the thick slime of their blood smeared over his clothes when he awakens. He failed them.
Your hands pause, then resume their nimble movements. Somewhere in the distance, you both hear Genji’s laughter, caught in his play. Michikatsu feels ill at the thought of leaving that laughter behind, but what gnaws at him is stronger: a beast with teeth of iron that once bit at his heart, asleep for many years, so deeply he thought it had died. But recent events on an ill-fated night had all but revived the sickness within, and now it suffocates him. He must do this, whatever it takes.
“Hisami, do you believe me?”
You swallow emptily but keep your peace.
“Akai’s fever has abated,” you say then. Your daughter has been passed to the nursemaid for the time being, and after the initial fright, her state has been steadily improving.
“I know,” he says, and since he knows you, he also knows what you’re doing. It will not change his resolve, though a side of him wishes it could. Michikatsu walks over and slowly sinks to his knees, facing you. “I must do this for them. They are gone, their families grieve, and I am to blame. Do you see? Others fight the creatures, Hisami. They have been doing so since ancient times.”
“And… now you think your place is among them.” Your words are bland, void of inflection. Your eyes stay on your work, never on him.
“For a while.”
His hand grasps your knee; your fingers cease their frantic work, and you finally raise your gaze to his. “Please… tell me why.”
“I… do not understand.”
“We’ve known each other for a lifetime, and yet…” your hands are fisted in your lap. You take a deep breath. “I never faulted your honesty, and I always had your trust. Why? Why must you leave? Ever since you’ve returned, you barely eat, and you stare at the children as though they were strangers—”
“That is not true and you know it.”
“Your body is here…” you go on, unabated, “but your mind is nowhere near.”
He rises, turning away from you. A sigh leaves him. “If I fail again, one day we might be in line as prey. Is that preferable?”
“Michikatsu, please…” your voice breaks, the words torn at the stem. You fall silent again.
The wind whistles through the tree’s flowing crown. “I want to be prepared,” he speaks after a while. “Joining my brother is the best course to follow.”
He knows you understand. He knows you hurt. But he knows he cannot stay or else the beast within will eat at him until nothing is left. “I will find you later.” With that, he makes to leave the garden.
“We are a family... are you not happy? Are you not content?”
Your voice is small in his wake, and Michikatsu pauses, his back still turned.
No, no he is not. His peace was shattered the moment a red blade cut through his impending death that same night, when the flash of familiar eyes and inhuman reflexes reminded him how his goal was another, and how his life had been empty of it.
“It is only for a while, Hisami.” Your name is bitter on his tongue as he leaves the garden.
Tumblr media
Your eyelids shiver from a teasing ray of light. A lingering ache intensifies as you move your head, one hand instinctively placed at the source—your neck. Images disperse as you free yourself from the weaving of yet another dream, this one more vivid than the last. You can still see the pond before you and remember the chill of the wind tugging at your hair, accompanied by the sounds of a child’s laughter. And someone... How odd. The haze lifts from your eyes as your fingers come upon … bandaging? Focus skewed, you rise like one who’s had a cup of sake too many. You haven’t felt as weak in a long time, as though a sudden illness has taken over your body and dulls your movement. Dizziness makes your head spin so you take your time, breathing deeply for a while before standing.
And then, you gain a reminiscence of the previous night. Not an illness, but blood loss: that’s the culprit. “Ngh…” You bring a hand to your face, rubbing at your temples.
You’d offered this, but in hindsight, perhaps it was indeed stupidity, or either way a lapse of reason, that moved you to it. The sight of him had been so strange. He looked so weak, swallowing emptily while fisting his hands to hide a tremble, his gaze so intense it stripped you of reason; there was yearning, but not for you as much as something within you.
“Blood, is it?” you wonder aloud.
More fool you, thinking such a being whose nature is foreign to you might be gentle, and concerning such an act no less. You should’ve known better, of course, but then you’d always had a cursed sense of curiosity. Your fingers trace the bandage at your neck as you catch sight of yourself in the mirror: his doing, presumably. Made a tidy work of it, too. Despite the damage he’s done, he took the time to tend to the wound. What a peculiar fiend. Why bother?
And what if he returns specifically for more of this?
As you unwrap the cloth you see the area around two punctures has turned a mottled crimson, widening towards your collarbone, like crushed red spider lilies on your skin. But another aspect unsettles more than this sight: it began as one of the worst sensations you’d ever experienced, but then, slowly, weavings of pleasure wracked your body even as you asked him to slow, to give you a reprieve, the pain confusing your senses when laced with the heat and pressure of him at your veins.
“Again, what the hell is happening to me…”
His explanations beforehand had made little sense, in hindsight. All that talk of demons, creatures who roam the night. His appearance you thought might be a sort of disguise, but who’s to say whether you simply have a madman on your hands? And yet.
The priest. You recall his warning concerning the Paradise Faith leader, but why should you believe anything he says, after what happened? He’s not even given you his name, has he? He did say they may only roam at night.
“Very well,” you take a piece of cloth and dip it in clean water, wincing as you dab at the abused area. “Then, I will go during the day.”
Tumblr media
“Have you gotten any further insight?”
“No, Muzan-sama.”
He’d traveled far and wide, he’d changed form and infiltrated human society in the most remote areas, and yet there is no such notion of what his master has been seeking for centuries now. The blue spider lily, if it ever existed, has perished as a strain or is hidden in faraway lands. But, of course, he sees no reason to expose these thoughts to one who will never renounce this search.
This chamber of the castle with its furnishings reminds him of the Edo era. Nakime likes to keep things diverse in her domain, it seems.
“Is that all you have to say?” Muzan is staring at a table laden with a Go board, the black and white stones trembling against the wood from vibration.
Throughout the years, Upper Rank One has learned many a thing, not least when the mood is foul, and now is one of those times. “I will continue my search in the territories to the South.”
“Searching, searching, searching…” The Go stones tremble again. “Always searching with no result… damn this world.” Muzan speaks in his mind as he usually does, and Upper Rank One always welcomes him. Their history together is built on aligned interests.
“You know, you’ve always had my trust,” his maker goes on, “more than anyone.”
“Yes. I know.”
Muzan picks up a black Go stone, staring ponderously at it. “And yet, recently, when I sought for you, you were not there. It was as though… you were blocking me. Perhaps you of all people have been... distracted lately?”
“Distracted?” What is this, now? The most he’s done was to… Your taste still lingers on his tongue, he realizes: sweet and coppery, the flavor faded but the effect still strong. But surely that is not even worth counting as something to impede him. “I have nothing to hide.”
“Be that as it may, Upper Rank One. I need your continued aid, just as you needed mine many, many years ago.” Muzan places the Go stone down on the board.
Kokushibo breathes once—and his master is there within reach, so close he can smell the heavy incense of black lotus on his current disguise.
“Do you remember?” The voice is soft, nearly seductive. A hand is placed on his shoulder.
There is a sudden, swift graze along his throat, no more than the touch of a rose thorn.
He fails to understand, his hand shooting to stave the sudden blood spray from a deep wound. None is faster or stronger among demons than he; none but the one who now stands close behind him.
Muzan rounds him. Long, pale fingers take him gently by the chin, raising his blurring sight to eyes of a hematic luminescence. The slit pupils regard him coolly, burrowing into his own as the ruby flow seeps and stains his kimono a darker pattern. “Who helped you? Who mended you when you nearly lost your head to your brother that blood moon night?”
The gash burns his flesh, and though he keeps regenerating, it will not close; crimson drips like a shallow spring down his chest; he wavers in his stance. “You did…”
“That’s right. I did,” Muzan says aloud. “And do you know why? Because you, are my most valuable ally.”
His master releases him and the demon falls to his knees, both hands at his throat, attempting to seal the wound—but his flesh will not listen to him, and will not heal. Not when someone stronger than him has dealt the blow. He lowers his head, struggling with his breaths like a drowning man.
“Whatever it is that keeps you from your duties... Get rid of it. Do you understand?”
Upper Rank One nods once, gasping and choking, a hand pressed to the floor, the other to his throat. He does not even notice when his master is gone. He focuses all his abilities on regeneration, performs it over and over. The blood continues to pour.
