Yes, My Lady
Genre: Fantasy (I guess?? Like low-key I have no idea what this is)
Word Count: 2,447
A/N: I wrote it awhile ago for another thing I was doing but cut it off cuz I couldn’t keep up with it. So here is an extremely cut down version just for Kogyeol. Honestly, it’s kind of hard for me NOT to see him as a butler and I just love the concept as a whole (plus, TOP media has a thing for sticking the boys in suits and it’s just... it’s a beautiful thing)

The room was dark and spacious. It fit a king-sized bed and all its antique glory, a rather large mahogany desk near one of the tall windows, a smallish living room set up and then the bathroom. In the bed, moving under the sheets slowly, the outline of a sleeping figure could be seen.
All the curtains were drawn, the only light that could be seen came from the hallway, which made its way into the room under the door. The silence was crushing while the darkness consumed the room. The furniture looked as though it was distorted and almost human like if one were to squint hard enough. Near the door, a wood burning fire place breathed the last of its life and let go with a puff of grey smoke.
After a few moments, the wooden door opened slowly and quietly. A tall, thin and lean figure walked into the room, making their way to the curtains. The butler of the house, as it were, was tasked with everything and anything that concerned the figure under the sheets. He moved through the dark with ease, his tailcoat swung gently behind him as he walked to the window directly across from the bed.
“My, my, my. How can you still be asleep?”
His voice was soft and low, as he didn’t want to disturb the figure just yet. While he reached up towards the curtains the clock in the room struck at quarter to ten. The butler quickly opened the curtains, the light of the morning flooded into the room and landed directly on the bed where the figure was.
His black suit looking darker as he stepped into the light, his face was covered by shadows. A light clicking sound could be heard from the shoes the butler wore as they walked over to the bed. The footsteps stopped at the right side, a white-gloved hand was pressed gently on the covers where the figure was asleep.
“Young mistress. Time to get up.”
Under the sheets the body moved slightly and soon a muffled sound could be heard. The butler went back to opening the curtains as the sheets began to stir. Finally a head of long, sleek black hair popped up from the covers. The owner of the house yawned, rubbing her eyes like a child would then sighed heavily. She had stayed up later than what was probably necessary last night, which meant that today would be more challenging.
“Come now my lady, that’s no way to wake up on such a fine day as this.”
The butler walked back over to her. He placed his gloved hands on the girl’s shoulders gently and had her sit up. Once he was sure she wouldn’t fall back, he walked across the room towards the closet.
“Minsoo, I’m tired. Why did you wake me up so early?”
A small chuckle escaped as he pulled out a black shirt, light blue crop jeans and a white button-down shirt. The French doors that lead to the closet closed with a small click as Minsoo brought the girl her clothes. He knelt on one side of the bed as she swung her legs out from under the warm covers.
“My lady Y/N, it is almost quarter to ten in the morning. It’s not incredibly early.”
The girl glanced at the clock and sure enough her butler was right: as per usual. She handed him a blindfold, which he took and tied around his eyes. If anything, Minsoo made sure not to let things slip. Many times, he could have gone without the blind fold but because his position was that of a butler, it would be highly improper of him. Moreover, Minsoo was a respectable butler and never allowed for anyone to see Y/N without clothing; that included himself for the matter.
“Mr. Kim will be arriving at twelve to discuss the next step in building the factory. In the meantime, I’ve prepared breakfast for you.”
By now, he had taken the blindfold off for he was adjusting her clothing which did not require such a garment over his eyes. As he straightened out the collar of the button-down shirt the clock struck nine fifty-five; it was time to get going. He stood up gracefully, holding out his hand for Y/N to take. She gladly accepted it, the soft touch of the white gloves he wore over his hands made her smile. It was something that made Minsoo more charming and for a moment she could forget that he was a demon.
The two walked down the long hallway, their footsteps were muffled from the carpet covering the floor. Minsoo talked to her calmly about what the day would look like and what time everything would be happening. She listened closely to times and names but not the exact events. There was no need to remember such things because the names explain what she needed to know and he would take care of the rest for her.
When they entered the dining room at the end of the hall, what the two found was something else. Minsoo didn’t show much of an expression but Y/N knew that burn marks on the table wasn’t what he had in mind. The food was also not on the table even though he had placed it there prior to waking her up. There were no fumes coming from the butler; he ran his left hand through his longish blond hair. He took a deep breath then called for the three bumbling, but very sweet and loving, idiots who screwed up the meal.
“Wei! Wooshin! Yeol!”
Minsoo’s voice was not strict, nor was it soft when he called out the three boys. It was authoritative mostly. When they heard the footsteps of the three coming out from the kitchen, he knew what they were doing. They stood on the left side of the two at attention with a stiff solute before letting it go once Y/N bowed. She took one look at the three of them before speaking in a very calm, collected voice.
“Gentlemen, can you tell me what happened here?”
“We were trying to help out Minsoo. He seemed like he could use it, not saying that he’s incapable but everyone needs help at one point or another.”
“Xiao is right. My lady, we wanted to make something for you as well as what Kogyeol had out but…”
“Clearly, we failed to deliver.”
Y/N sighed but never the less had them stop bowing their heads, it wasn’t good for moral. Wei bowed once more for good measure before turning to the left to clean up the kitchen. Wooshin headed toward the hallway so that he could go do the yard work while Xiao stayed behind. He was the official right hand for both Minsoo and Y/N, which meant that the job would never be done until both found that they did not need him for the moment. He went over to stand next to the chair at the end of the table while Minsoo rubbed his temple with his hand.
Y/N waited for him to gain his full composure before she made her way to the chair in front of her. She paused as Minsoo pulled the chair out for her, making no sound even with the polished wood floors. Her feet made no noise; her socks muffled any sound that could have been made, as she took her seat. He pushed in her chair with ease, walked to the right side of her and picked up the teapot. A fine China cup sat on a saucer, the gold rim shined in the sunlight that came through the large windows.
As he poured the tea, smoke floated off of the surface of the liquid and came into contact with the soft skin of Y/N’s cheek. She took a deep breath, closing her eyes to take in the smell. Minsoo glanced over at her as he finished pouring the tea.
“Jasmine: warm and welcoming like you. It will make a good match for what I prepared.”
“Hm…”
Sometimes he would allow himself to say such things to her and other times he would bite his tongue. It wasn’t that he didn’t enjoy saying such things; rather it was quite the opposite. If he had the mind and order to speak to his lady in such a way, as he so pleased, it would make him happy. Being a demon, there really isn’t much time for happiness or any kind of emotion at all. Rather, one is supposed to be as fun as a rock and as loving as a shark when theyre a demon. Minsoo was one of the few exceptions seeing as he wasn’t always one to begin with.
Speaking of his lady, her face was hidden behind a book. Reading was a pastime for her that could give out any other kind of world to her for at least awhile before she had to come back to her own. He noticed she was reading a horror novel this time; she seemed to enjoy the scary aspect of the stories. The sunlight caught her hair, turning it a light brown with a few golden and red strands making their appearance.
A small hint of a smile crossed his lips as he set a plate down in front of her. She glanced over the top of her book to see what breakfast would be today. Zongzi: steamed sticky rice with filling in it and wrapped in bamboo leaves. Her personal favorite was filled with pork and luckily Minsoo knew what she loved and what she didn’t. She set her book down and thanked him while he gave her a bowl made from the outer shell of a dragon fruit that had the pulp cut into small cubes. The final touch was highly condensed mint water, which he had spent two days making. He bowed before heading off to the kitchen to fix the mess that had been made by the three idiots.
Xiao was still standing at her side as she ate quietly. The only sound that could be heard was the clock in the corner and the faint rush of water from the kitchen sink. He watched her carefully in silence and when he was sure that Minsoo was not within earshot he cleared his throat. Y/N dabbed the corner of her mouth with the white cloth napkin and looked up at Xiao. He waited for her to say something or make a gesture for him to sit down across from her. She nodded her head to the seat on her right. Once he sat down he put on a very blunt expression that Y/N noticed.
“Yes Yeol?”
“My lady, what exactly is Minsoo to you?”
“You’ve asked me this question before and I always give the same answer because it is true. Go Minsoo is my butler.”
Xiao nodded his head, but it was clear that he was thinking through the whole situation in his mind. Y/N didn’t bother to go any further with the explanation, seeing as how it wouldn’t actually do any good. Once Xiao had an idea about something he wouldn’t let it go until he was officially proven wrong or until his hunch was correct. He stood up, took a bow and went back to standing silently next to her.
When Minsoo came back he was looking down at his pocket watch, a small click could be heard as he shut it. Y/N was reading her book once again, paying no attention to anything else that was going on around her. He made no effort in trying to bring her out of it as he cleared the dishes from the table. Xiao watched the blonde move back and forth seamlessly with speed. One moment he would be picking something up and the next he could be heard in the kitchen cleaning up.
After everything was cleared, the clock chimed eleven in the morning exactly. Only one hour before Mr. Kim showed up to the mansion and it was time for Y/N to not look so much like a teenager. He walked over to the girl, placing a hand on her shoulder so as not to shock her. When she looked up at him there was something different in her eyes. It wasn’t bad nor was it good, but it was simply neutral.
“My lady, we need to get you changed for the meeting. I can’t say that what you have on at the moment is very professional meeting ready.”
“You’re right.”
Y/N took the lead while walking back to her room with Minsoo trailing behind her a few feet away. As they approached the door to her bedroom, Xiao came running down the hall with something in his hands. He could tell that the other was running too fast to stop on his own without blasting a whole through the wall so he held out his hand in front of him. Sure enough, he ran his head smack into the palm of Minsoo’s hand, which sent the two of them back a few more feet before stopping.
“Yeol,” he began in a calm tone, “remember when I said no running in the halls? It is for that very reason.”
“I apologize Hyung, but I have a letter for My lady.”
“Give it here.”
Y/N took the letter from the boy, read who it was from then quickly handed it to Minsoo who nodded his head in silence. Xiao noticed a kind of unspoken understanding but didn’t bother trying to figure out what was going on. He quickly bowed to take his leave and retreated down the hall to tend to his next job. Y/N walked past her butler and into her room then sat on the bed, looking at the floor the entire time. He noticed this but did not bring it up. Instead he went back to her closet and took out a bit more formal clothing for the guest that would be coming over.
He returned with an A-line blue dress that ended at knee length, nude tights, a black cardigan and of course black heels. Mr. Kim was known to be a very formal man of business and it was always best to put on something that seemed to be over the top when meeting him. Y/N sat up straight, closed her eyes for a moment then stared right into Minsoo’s eyes. He didn’t waver for a moment; instead he kept the eye contact, waiting until his young mistress would say something.
“The doctor’s letter. Read it to me later.”
“Yes My lady.”

UP10TION Scenarios
6. KISS
JINWOOK: He looked at you with such amusement in his eyes. Lights were playing in there and it overwhelmed you that you were the reason behind it. “Can you stop looking at me with heart eyes? I’m feeling self-conscious, you know?” you complained, smiling. “Where do you want me to look instead?” he asked, pouting exaggeratedly. You wouldn’t want him to look at someone else, anyway. “It’s not like I don’t like it. It’s just that my mind seem to stop working every time—” Your babbling ended when he sealed a kiss on your lips.
SOOIL: From the car, he walked you up to your doorstep. It was past nine in the evening when you reached home. You couldn’t help but worry whenever he went home late because of dropping you off first. “Drive safely,” you told him. “I will. Don’t worry too much,” he said, not letting go of your hand. “You’re forgetting something necessary.” He smiled sheepishly, and then kissed your lips good night before heading back to his car. You waved at him as you watched him go.
MINSOO: “Ah, Your Highness looks so lovely today,” he sighed when he saw you at last. You made a face at him when you caught your reflection on a shop window you were passing by. Strands of hair fell out of your bun, making it messy. But he remained staring at you like you were, indeed, lovely. “I am not lying,” he said, his hand on his chest. “It’s not my best look yet,” you said shyly. He held out a hand to you, brushing a kiss at the back of your hand. “I know.”
JINHYUK: You glared at him in mock irritation when he kissed your right cheek for no reasons. He gave you a surprised look of fake innocence. “Didn’t you ask for a kiss?” You rolled your eyes. It was your fault, anyway. “You’re pointing at your cheek, so I kissed you there,” he explained as if he just did you a big favor. You eyed the room to see if the students saw you. The library didn’t seem to care. “Erase that stupid ink on your cheek, okay?” But being the annoying guy that he was didn’t listen to you but kissed you again.
CHANGHYUN: Almost all the buses were full and it didn’t surprise you at this hour. Beside you, he kept talking to keep your distraction away from the difficulty of commuting. You concentrated on his voice and his breathing as he stood in that shed with you. His hand was on your elbow, rooting you on your spot. Another bus came and it was time to say goodbye. His hand went to your shoulder. You looked up at him, but he didn’t meet your gaze. He pulled you close gently and kissed your forehead until it was time to go.
WOOSEOK: “You lost in our deal. Again,” he said, emphasizing the last word. “It’s only 2 points!” you argued. “I know what you’re capable of. You don’t have to be so patronizing to me,” he uttered, smirking. He looked at your test paper again, an idea forming in his head. “After I give your punishment, let’s stop competing with each other. It doesn’t make sense,” he proposed. That took him long to notice, you thought. Suddenly his eyes were all serious and looking at him made it hard for you to breathe. He pulled you in, kissed your lips and told you that was it—the punishment.
YEIN: With a smile on your face, you showed him the flower crown you made. The flowers you used looked familiar to him, though. The white and yellow orchids were pretty. “Aren’t those flowers from the bouquet I gave you?” he inquired. “Yes, isn’t it pretty?” As a reply, he approached you and took the crown form you. He put it on you with such care. “Right,” he agreed, taking in the scent of the flowers mixing with your shampoo. He kissed your hair then and said it looked good on you.
GYUJIN: It was dark and the sky lacked stars. You focused on your steps, following the movement of his feet. He glanced back at you from time to time. Lightning striking made for a good kind of flashlight. “Remind me not to go to open fields again,” you said as the two of you made it back to the road. He invited you to come out to watch the skies before rain and brought you to the field. “Sorry, I messed things up,” he said, chuckling. “Were you scared? Come here.” You couldn’t stay annoyed at him for long, besides you enjoyed watching the lightning. He consoled you with a kiss on the forehead, then continued fleeing the rain.
HWANHEE: The photo booth felt stuffy, but seeing the smile on his face gave you the distraction you need to get on with it. He requested this, after all. You didn’t have the heart to turn him down. You copied his peace sign for the first shot. Goofy faces came next and you were totally having fun. The last shot came quickly, as well as the kiss. There you were standing with a slight smile, his lips on your cheek. It was a good memory on paper.
DONGYEOL: “Oh,” he mouthed, grinning at you. “Why don’t you sleep for a while, so you won’t catch me if I stare at you?” he was lying on the couch resting as you sat on the floor. “I really need someone to watch me while I sleep,” he said, chuckling. “Go to sleep, then,” you said with a pout. He stared at you for a beat longer. He even managed to lift his head and plant a quick kiss on your nose before closing his eyes to sleep.

Summary: Getting locked inside the school demands drastic measures...
~
The corridor was buzzing with noise as students poured out from the classrooms lining it. Seeing as it was Friday afternoon and everyone was looking forward to the weekend, making my way through the mass of students was not an easy feat. especially when everyone seemed to be paying more attention to the coming events the weekend would be filled with rather than making sure to not bump into fellow students. finally, I managed to arrive at my locker where I left my books, I was not feeling the need to study during the weekend and grabbed my jacket before turning around and walking straight into someone’s chest.
Taking a step back, I looked up into the face of the one person I didn’t want to see or be distracted by right before taking my well-deserved weekend off.
Minsoo was wearing his usual smirk, amusement evident in his eyes as I rolled my own. It wasn’t a case of disliking him, but rather liking him too much for my own good, I’d had crushes before but none of them had acted like such a distraction in my schoolwork. Go Minsoo could steal my attention even in the most unusual situations and I hated that I loved him.
Without saying a word, I attempted to walk past him, only to have him take a step to the side and end up in front of me again. A huff left my lips and I tried manoeuvring him again, this time walking to the other side, but he followed my movement as if he was a reflection. I started growing annoyed, only wanting to be out of the building so I could walk home and make myself comfortable under my cover with a show playing on Netflix. However, Minsoo had other plans. Deciding to move faster this time, I managed to get around him but he caught my upper arms, spinning me around again before I was in the same position, this time closer to the locker and not seeing any way out of interacting with him. I sighed, giving up on the hope of coming home quickly.
“What do you want Minsoo?” A smile appeared on his face as he chuckled at my impatient tone.
“I couldn’t just leave without seeing you again before being deprived of your face for two whole days.” At that, he received another eye roll from me before I put my hand against his chest and pushed him away slightly, Then I stepped around him, this time without protests from him.
“Well, now you have, so I’ll leave now.” I made sure not to look in his direction as my face had gotten quite warm after his small revelation. This is what I don’t like, I don’t blush, but for some reason, he managed to make my face as red as a tomato every time he opened his mouth.
I was relieved when he didn’t follow me to the exit, even though I could feel his gaze on me. Due to the feeling of being watched, the blush didn’t leave my face whatsoever. The feeling of relief was quickly washed away as I put my hand on the handle of the door and tried opening it, only for it to stay as shut as it had been a second before. Panic filled my body as I, time after time, tried forcing the door open. I used both of my hands, shook it, kicked it, smashed my entire body against it, but to no avail.
As I gave up, another hand joined mine on the handles.
Minsoo gave the door a rough push before sighing and backing away, looking slightly concerned, then he fished out his phone from his pocket, intending to call someone for help. I admired his persistence but knew that using the phone was another dead end.
“Minsoo…” I tried catching his attention but only received a string of curse words directed at his phone when no signal came. “Mobile phones don’t work in these buildings, remember? We have no connection here.” He glanced at me, annoyance clear in his eyes, before turning on his heel and walking down the corridor. At the sight of his retreating form, a sense of panic overcame me.
“No, wait!” I started walking after him, each step faster than the one before. “I don’t want to be all alone here in the dark! It’s creepy!” Had I not been so caught up with my own fright, I would've heard the chuckle which escaped his lips at my outburst. After a couple of more steps, I was stood beside him, desperately clinging to his arm which I had managed to grasp and hence also stopping him in his tracks.
"Then come with me." He turned his head to look at me, my antics seemed to amuse him, judging by his look. "You just gotta keep up." Then he started walking again, taking bigger steps this time and pulling me along like a ragdoll. Had I not been clutching his arm in such a strong grip, I would've been left behind, probably on the floor due to the sheer force of his prompt pace.
After a while, I found myself standing outside the teachers’ staffroom where the teachers spend most of their breaks, drinking coffee and eating cinnamon buns. Minsoo tried opening the door, only to realise that it too, was locked. I watched him for a while, as he shook the handle back and forth but still not getting a result. Eventually, I sighed and put a hand on his shoulder, pulling him slightly as to get him to move away from the door. Then, I fished a hairpin out of my pocket and started fiddling it around in the lock, not stopping until I heard a click. I opened the door and entered the room before facing Minsoo who’s jaw was on the floor.
“How… What… You…” I walked up to him and patted his cheek, then I sat down on one of the couches, feeling my body relax slightly at the softness of the furniture. My stomach was still twisted with fear, feeling uneasy at the thought of being trapped in a dark building for who knows how long. However, as I was not alone, it prevented me from freaking out completely, even though the person in question was someone who caused my heart to beat a million beats an hour.
Minsoo had made his way to the cupboards lining the wall above the counter and was currently looking through them, seemingly searching for something in particular. After a while, he turned around, clasping a bag of cinnamon buns in his hand which he threw to me before requesting for me to open it. He sat down beside me and grabbed one of the buns once I had gotten the plastic bag open. Then, there was silence. The only sound resonating through the room being the sound of chewing. He then cleared his throat, causing me to almost jump out of my skin.
“So… How come you avoid me all the time?” I choked on my cinnamon bun, shocked at his straight forward question.
“Uhm… I’m not avoiding you. Why would you think that?” My voice was as small as a mouse’s and I refused to look at him, knowing the look in my eyes would give away everything. He hummed softly at my answer.
“You like me, don’t you.” This time, I couldn’t help but look at him, my eyes as big as saucers. He chuckled at my expression, not needing a verbal answer from me as my reaction was just as telling. “It’s fine, I like you too, in case you haven’t noticed.” He grabbed another bun and started nibbling on it, acting as if the confession was the most normal thing in the world.
“How… How can you say that so casually?” I felt the blush creep up my face once again. “Shouldn’t you at least feel some kind of nervousness?” He chuckled again.
“I don’t have a reason to be nervous when you’re so obvious about your feelings for me.” He put down the bun and leaned closer to me, a small smirk playing on his lips. “The way you react to me is just so telling.” His face got even closer, his hands now being placed on the back of the couch as well as the armrest beside me. “And now that it’s all out in the open, I have nothing stopping me from…” His eyes then darted to something behind me and he was off the couch in less than a couple of seconds.
I took a deep breath, which I had been holding a moment before, and turned around to see what had caught Minsoo’s attention so drastically.
He was busy removing the fire extinguisher from the wall, seeming quite excited at the plan that had come to him at the switch of a light.
“Minsoo, what are you doing?” I stood up from the couch and approached him, slightly concerned at his now erratic behaviour. He got the extinguisher off the wall and looked at me, determination vivid in his eyes.
“I’m not planning on staying the night here, I’m going to break the door down.” He tried going around me but I sidestepped in his way, my eyes giving away every protesting emotion I was feeling. He sighed. “Look, I know this will get me in trouble, so stay here while I go alone and I’ll come to get you afterwards. I don’t want you to get into trouble and there’s a reason why I never react aggressively when you’re around, I don’t want to scare or hurt you.”
“Then don’t. Stay.” I put my hands on his upper arms, trying to make him change his mind. “You’ll get in trouble too, let’s just stay the night.” he shook his head at that.
“I’m not spending the night here, let alone the entire weekend.” Then he was out the door, extinguisher in hand. I sighed and ran after him, refusing to be left alone in this place.
Once I caught up to him, he had already started banging the extinguisher against the handles and locks of the door, hoping to break them enough to be able to open it. He was right about one thing, seeing him acting like this was one of the scariest things I’ve ever witnessed due to him always being carefree otherwise. So I stayed back, still being able to see him but not close enough to distinguish his facial expressions. The noises of the banging became too much eventually though and I turned around and slid down the wall until I was sitting on the floor, covering my ears slightly and keeping my eyes as shut as possible. My heart was almost beating out of my chest.
Then, it stopped, and I felt a breeze brush my skin. I opened my eyes and looked towards the exit. The doors were now wide open, moonlight seeping into the corridor, giving everything a ghostly glow. The extinguisher was resting against the wall and Minsoo was standing outside, the light from the moon creating a silhouette from behind.
As I walked up beside him, he looked at me with a small smirk on his lips.
“You’re in so much trouble.” I laughed slightly, shaking my head at his decisions. He laughed along with me. As the laughter faded away, he took a step towards me, grasping my hands in his and pulling me closer.
“Now. Where were we?” Then, he pulled me even closer and pressed his lips against mine under the shine of the moonlight.

If its ok, could you do Up10tion Jinhoo or Kogyeol and what they would be like on a first date? Thank you!
I’ll do even better for you anon, I’ll do both!
Jinhoo
Okay, so I think that Jinhoo would be super adorable on a first date. It took him ages to pluck up the courage to ask you out so now he has the chance to finally impress you, you bet he’ll do his damn hardest to give you the best date ever. He would start by picking you up from your front door in the evening and giving you a bunch of flowers (he found out your favourites by utilising his best spies ie Hwanhee and Xiao). Then he would drive you to a public garden with a lake which is lit with lanterns and set up a little picnic with all of your favourite picnic foods (can you see a running trend here? This boy will do his research.). He would make sure that there was never an awkward moment, trying his best to make you feel comfortable. Once you finish eating, he’ll lay out a blanket and a few pillows which he retrieved from his car and you’d watch stars until you began to drift off to sleep.
(Omo sorry it’s so cliche and sappy but he’s my smol bean and he’s so precious and such a gentleman >///
Tumblr media
Kogyeol
This boy… this BOY.
This boy has it covered, okay? He’s not breaking a sweat when it comes to a first date because he knows that everything will be perfect. He could actually be considered the king of first dates. What’s better for a first date than a coffee shop? It’s a calm atmosphere, no awkward silences because the bustling of the cafe will fill them and food is readily available. Perfect. He would arrange to meet you there and actually arrive 30 minutes early so that he can get the two of you the nice plush chairs which are in a snug corner at the back. Private and quiet. He will wait patiently till you arrive but the nerves will creep in slightly, he has a huge crush on you, after all. When you turn up he’ll be the model date and stand up to greet you, giving you a small and gentle hug. Obviously, he’d insist on paying for your drink and going up to order and wait for it while you sit down. While he waits he wouldn’t be able to stop looking over at you with a cute grin on his face because he’s so happy that you agreed to go out with him. The rest of the date will pass with the two of you getting to know each other and Kogyeol throwing in about a million and one compliments while doing so.
Tumblr media
I love Up10tion so so so so so much. Please give these boys a listen, they have some really good songs and their most recent MV, White Night, has a brilliant concept! Please check them out, Up10tion hwaiting!

-Happy anniversary – You said happily before you yawned, then Kogyeol leaned closer to you and gave you a sweet kiss on your lips. He was moving his lips softly while he was grinning, then both of you got part and started to cuddle up together.
-How many years have we achieved? – Kogyeol asked while caressing your arm softly.
-Babe, really? – You complained while looking at him.
-Yah! Don’t get mad at me, I just forgot the number – Kogyeol said as he started to back hug you.
-Three – You said while playing with his hands.
-Wow~ there years already? It feels that everything started yesterday to me – Kogyeol said while smiling, then he reloaded his chin on top of your shoulder.
-Why babe? – You asked as you kept playing with his fingers.
-Because I still love you like the first time everything began – Kogyeol said as a whisper near your neck, you got shivers right after his words since you could feel his breath against your skin. He started to give little and gentle kisses to your neck while he started to pull you against him.
-Hmm… Kogyeol – You said as he kept on kissing your neck.
-Yes?
-I have something important to tell you – You said as you looked at him. He immediately stopped and stared at you concerned by the look in your eyes, then he started to caress your cheek.
-What’s wrong Y/N? – Kogyeol asked with a smile.
-My mom called me last night, she told me the time I have left before I get back to college – You said as you looked at him concerned, as soon as you said those words Kogyeol’s smile faded away and turned into a glare of full concern.
-How long do you have? – Kogyeol asked a bit down.
-A month – You said while taking his hands. Kogyeol started to embrace you tight and then he just whispered near your ear.
-I don’t want you to go.
-I don’t want to go either… I wish I could stay longer – You said while caressing his hair, both of you laid down on the bed again and while Kogyeol was embracing you and hiding his face on your shoulder, you were just caressing his hair gently.
-Now I don’t want to get up from bed – Kogyeol said as he chuckled a little.
-We have to – You said while holding his face in between your hands, then you kissed his lips softly.
-How long are you going to be gone? – Kogyeol asked while looking directly at your eyes.
-I’ll come on December for Winter break, so just like for four months.
-*Sigh* what am I going to do without you? Who’s going to control those kiddos? – Kogyeol said with a settle smile.
-Babe, don’t think of that… we have an anniversary to celebrate – You said while caressing his cheek.
-You’re right, let’s go – Kogyeol said as he stood up from the bed.
*TIME LATER*
You were having a nice time with Kogyeol and with the rest of the members that wanted to join the plans for today with both of you, Kogyeol didn’t mind at all since he was just focusing on you. Right now you are chilling out in a café just talking and enjoying the day off work.
-Hey, you! – Hwanhee said while snapping his fingers in front of Kogyeol’s face.
-He’s not paying attention to us Hyung – Xiao said as he rolled his eyes.
-*Laugh* you barely notice that? – Jinhoo said while laughing and then Sunyoul joined.
-He’s staring at you a lot Y/N, don’t you think? – Sunyoul asked while looking at Kogyeol surprised.
-Yeah, he hasn’t blinked once yet – Bitto said as he pass his hand in front of his eyes.
-I’ll help – Wooshin said as he started to blow in front of his eyes. –No, not working.
-He’s kind of scary – Gyujin said as he looked at Kogyeol.
-*Giggle* guys he’s okay – You said while smiling at them. Then you started to hold hands with him. –Babe, are you okay?
-Yes, I just want to enjoy the time we have before you go – Kogyeol said before he kissed your hand.
-Wait what?! You’ll leave? – Kuhn asked confused.
-When? Why? – Jinhoo asked.
-Why are you going to leave us with him? – Wooshin asked while pointing at Kogyeol.
-Where are you going? – Sunyoul asked.
-Guys! Calm down! – You said a bit frustrated. –I’m just going for a while.
-Now I see why Kogyeol-hyung is acting like this – Hwanhee said as he patted his back.
-Are you serious? – Wei asked confused.
-Yah! You can’t leave him, he’ll suffer – Xiao said concerned. And just like that everyone started to question you and your sudden leaving.
*AT NIGHT*
-I love you Kogyeol – You said while embracing him tight.
-I love you two Y/N – Kogyeol said before he gave you a sweet kiss on your forehead.
The day came to an end and the night arrived sooner than expected, all day long the members were asking about your sudden leaving but once Kogyeol stepped up for you they understood the situation. Everyone was harmed because you were leaving but you still have a whole month to be with them and to create more memories together.
-I’ll miss you so much – Kogyeol said as you two got on bed.
-I know, me too – You said before Kogyeol started to kiss you passionately.
-Promise me you won’t fall for any other guy – Kogyeol said while looking directly into your eyes.
-I promise, and you need to promise me that you won’t like any other girl – You said while surrounding his neck with your arms.
-I promise – Kogyeol said before he started to kiss you again, then he laid down beside you and he started to sing for you.
-Have I ever told you that I love your voice? – You asked while cuddling up with him.
-Yeah, like a thousand times – Kogyeol said before chuckling.
-I’ll tell you more times if it’s necessary – You said while looking at him.
-I don’t mind – Kogyeol said as he smiled at you.
-Happy anniversary babe – You said while smiling.
-Happy three years Y/N.

Up10tion reaction: hearing their s/o sing for the first time
Tumblr media
So... It’s actually 4AM where I live and I’m definitely to tired to proof read this, so please don’t hate me. I will check the reaction tomorrow to see if I need to correct anything. Until then, I hope that you like the reaction.
Jinhoo: He would smile at you so lovingly. Jinhoo would just stand and look at you for a few seconds, but then make you notice him. He would definitely love if you two just spend time together singing to different songs.
Tumblr media
Kuhn: He would have the most extra reaction out of all of the members. Kuhn would probably lay down on your sofa and just watch you cleaning. When you finally noticed him, he would do just the same face as in the gif, which would send you in a fit of laughter. He would compliment you later on though after you have calmed down.
Tumblr media
Kogyeol: He would radiate so much love for you to be honest. When he heard you sing, he would be the fastest to run up to you to hug and compliment you on your singing voice. Kogyeol always loved to hear you talk and now he finally had an excuse to hear more of it, because he an ask you to sing for him.
Tumblr media
Wei: He would just stand in the corner and look/listen to you sing. When you finally noticed him, Wei would just be smiling cutely at you and tell you to continue singing.
Tumblr media
Bit-to: He would be a checky shit and send a video of himself with you in the background singing to the other members to show you off. If you noticed him filming you, then he would definitely ask you if it was alright for him to send the video to the others. But if you didn’t notice then this little would definitely send it to them, just so that he has an excuse to talk about you more.
Tumblr media
Wooshin: I think the first few seconds he would be in shock of actually hearing you sing, since you have always been really shy about it. He would really appreciate it, since you knew that he was coming over and the chance of him finding you singing was pretty high. Wooshin would definitely compliment you on your singing even if it wasn’t the best. Expect him to ask you often to sing for him from now on though.
Tumblr media
Sunyeol: He wouldn’t really know what he should do about hearing you sing. Sunyeol would know that you weren’t 100% confident in your voice, but he honestly thought that your voice was just fine. It wasn’t perfect, but still pleasant to listen too. After a while, he would just go up to you and tell you that your voice was really nice and that he really wanted to hear your voice more often.
Tumblr media
Gyujin: You were listening to music together and normally you would be really quiet while he always sag along to most of the songs. But today, for the first time, he heard you sing to one of your favourite songs. It wasn’t anything big, but for him it meant a lot that you trusted him enough to sing around him.
Tumblr media
Hwanhee: He would be almost the only member, who would just go up behind you and hug you. After that he would just turn up the volume of the music and make both of you sing and dance around the room. This would turn into a normal thing for the both of you over the next few weeks.
Tumblr media
Xiao: When he first heard you sing, he would never stop asking you to sing for him. Whenever you said no to singing for him, then he would try to bribe you with something like kisses, cuddles or a date to that new cafe that you want to go to.

A Broken Kiss
Genre: Angst
Word Count: 2148
A/N: LMAO Y’all I lied I made it angsty sorry about that but I’ll make up for it I promise
Tumblr media
“Oh come on you two it’s just a game! Stop being such chickens.”
The maknae whined loudly at the two sitting on opposite sides of the circle. If they weren’t going to follow to rules of True or Dare then they have to follow through and not be sitting ducks. Originally this game had started out lighthearted and fun but now, now it was a slight nightmare for everyone.
“I am not a chicken Xiao, I just never signed up for this.”
“Then prove it Hyung. Show us that you’re not a chicken.”
Wooshin sighed heavily as he began to rethink his life choices up until this point in time. Sitting in front of Kogyeol, he realized this was a bad idea and even though it was just a game, there was something very wrong with this situation. Sure, he wasn’t going to deny that he’s had a crush on the older for a while now but there was one thing, or should I say one person, standing in his was: Kuhn. Kogyeol and Kuhn had been dating since basically forever and when Wooshin found out it almost broke the boys’ heart.
Now, at present, he was faced with two choices and depending on which one he takes it will either end with him having a nice old shiner or him forever being called a chicken by his friends. He glanced at the boy in front of him, a small smile gracing the others’ lips, then he made his choice. Hopefully the consequences wouldn’t be too…severe.
“Xiao maybe you shouldn’t have him do this dare. I realize it’s a game but daring him to use the pepero stick with Kogyeol…you’ve gone too far.”
Sunyoul placed a hang on youngers’ shoulder, a look of concern washing over his facial features. No body moved as he was right: daring Wooshin to play the pepero game was one thing but with Kogyeol, that’s a no. Kuhn, currently sitting next to said male, had a dark look to him as he held on to his lovers’ waist protectively. He didn’t like what the maknae was proposing, even if it was just a game between friends.
“I’m not a chicken, Wei give me that pepero stick.”
Said male held out the box hesitantly, his eyes darted from Wooshin to Kogyeol, as the black-haired boy took one of the sticks. He placed it between his lips and motioned for the red head to sit in front of him, which he didn’t refuse. Kuhn watched with hawk eyes as the two scooted closer together in what seemed like slow motion to him. For Wooshin on the other hand, he felt like things were moving at the speed of light as he sat in front of the one person he loved more than anything.
“You ready?”
All he could do was nod his head as Kogyeol wrapped an arm around his neck, bringing the younger closer to him. The boys held their breaths as they watched, some in horror and others…not so much when the two began to eat the pepero stick. As their faces got closer to each other Wooshin was losing his balance, without thinking he placed his right hand on Kogyeols’ neck to steady himself.
The air in the room grew cold, stale, suspense hung around the circle as they watched the scene before them with anticipation. Kuhn held his breath as his lover and friend came together, his eyes growing larger by the second. Wooshin blushed bright pink as he felt the warmth of Kogyeol’s breath on his lips. The latter smiled smugly but proceeded with his train of action until their lips were three centimeters apart.
He was about to pull away from the younger then someone shoved him from behind causing him to fall into Wooshin. Within a second the pepero stick was gone and the two boys were lip locked and wide eyed while everyone else laughed their heads off. Kuhn was the only one who didn’t laugh, in fact he looked rather stone like as he stared at the pair of idiots. Kogyeol quickly pulled away only to rid his lips of Wooshin’s lip balm and scoot back to Kuhn.
The tall male snaked his arm around the vocal and a devilish smile creeped over his lips but no one noticed. They were all too busy with the blushin Wooshin who sat still in the middle of the circle dumbfounded. He touched his lips lightly before scooting back to his place in the circle and letting the game proceed. Hwanhee and Xiao got picked next and they ended up doing something not meant for kids their age.
“Dude are you okay?”
The black-haired boy turned to the voice that spoke quietly in his ear and nodded his head slowly. Wei frowned but decided it was best not to argue with him or pry at the moment so he let is slide. Kuhn and Kogyeol had gone into their own world once again, with Kuhn making the younger blush like mad and sneak kisses. Wooshin watched silently with a heavy heart but an even heavier conscience. What they had done was out of line and he knew that very well but whoever pushed Kogyeol into him was going to pay a big price.
“I’m going to bed.”
His voice was barely audible but the guys got the message and bid him good night. Only Kuhn and Kogyeol weren’t paying attention but he couldn’t care less about those two. If anything, he wanted to forget what had just transpired between them. Sleep was always his way of relieving the stress of the day and now he really needed to knock out. Wei and Gyujin watched him slowly retreat from the living room, his back showed exactly how he felt: lost and unsure of what would come next.
“Go check on him in a few minutes just to be sure…”
Wei whispered to the younger who nodded his head before turning his attention to Bitto who had called him out for Truth or Dare. It was unsettling to say the least, everyone knew how bad the situation was but instead of helping they made it worse. Unlike Wooshin, Wei knew who pushed Kogyeol into him: Kuhn. It was a horrible trick and he was being a horrible team mate to the younger but did her care?
“Alright guys I think that’s enough for tonight, let’s all go to bed.”
Jinhoo said cheerily while herding Hwanhee and Xiao to their room with Gyujin trailing behind them. Bitto chuckled at the sight as he stood up and went into his room, followed by Sunyoul who rubbed his eyes sleepily. Only Kuhn, Wei, and Kogyeol were left in the living room and Wei was about to go off. He waited until the two love birds were about to get up to shoot up from his seat and shove them both back to the ground.
He pinned down Kuhn quickly, he knew Kogyeol wouldn’t interfere with him, and a low growl came from his throat. His eyes were rage filled and all Kuhn could do was lay there in silence and slight terror. Wei didn’t say anything for a while as he wanted to gather his thoughts in a coherent way before he started yelling at the top of his lungs.
“You. Rat. Bastard.”
“I’m sorry man I really am but Wooshin was going to tr—“
“Oh shut the fuck up you ding bat and listen to me. You get to apologize to Wooshin tomorrow and don’t even think I won’t be watching.”
He swiveled his head in an animalistic manner towards Kogyeol and his frown deepened. The red head didn’t move a muscle as he glanced from his boyfriend to his best friend who was threatening both of them. This was a very different side of Sungjoon that he’d never seen before but he knew right away he didn’t like it.
“And you. You could have said no. Both of you are horrible people.”
With that Wei stood up to his full height, looming over the two boys on the floor who couldn’t bring themselves to say anything. He gave one last glare before stomping off to his shared room with Wooshin and promptly slammed the door. The repsonce to this was Jinhoo popping his head out from around the corner, looking wide eyed for a split second and then glaring at the two on the floor.
“You guys better make it up to both of them. Go to sleep.”
His door too slammed shut but no one else responded as they all knew what two slams of doors meant: stay in your rooms or suffer the consequences. The two looked at each other for a moment then went to their room in silence. No words were exchanged for the rest of the night and they knew very well if they didn’t fix the problem they created then Jinhoo would actually kick them out.
The next morning everything was silent, that it until a loud crash could be heard from the kitchen and a scream came from somewhere in a bedroom. Jinhoo and Gyujin came running out first to find Wei screaming at the island table in the kitchen. It took only a moment before they realized someone was on the other side of the island and they quickly moved to look. There on the floor was Wooshin, a pool of blood circling his arms as he lay there motionless.
“Get a fucking ambulance right now and get me the two fuckers from the back room. We’re settling this old school.”
Wei and Gyujin took to his words, moving at the speed of light as they rushed around. The pillar called the hospital and held Wooshin gently while Gyujin banged pots and pans until the two love birds came out. That’s when he let them have a piece of his mind then yelled, for everyone to hear, “YOU ARE PAYING FOR THIS OPERATION ON WOOSHIN AND YOU ARE GOING TO APOLOGIZE OR I’M GOING TO ACTUALLY BREAK BOTH OF YOUR LEGS AND ARMS SO YOU CAN’T BE IN THIS BAND!”
When he came back to the kitchen Jinhoo and Wei could’ve sworn they saw literal fumes coming out of his ears but they decided it was best not to say anything about it. The ambulance came in ten minutes and took Wooshin to the hospital with Wei going along to make sure things went fine. Jinhoo gathered the boys all together in the living room but said nothing as his evident glare and hunched back showed he was already pissed enough.
All eyes turned to the couple and waited for them to talk, but nothing like that happened. Finally Xiao groaned in exasperation, stood up, then smacked Kuhn across the face. The sound echoed through the dorm as it was the only sound to be heard. This caused everyone to flinch but keep their positions until other actions became necessary. The older held his cheek and glared back at the youngest who returned the look with pure rage and defiance.
“You did this. I hate you.”
“Yeollie…”
Hwanhee gently pulled the youngest back to sitting and rubbed his back in steady circular motions as it’s the fastest and best way to calm him down. Kogyeol turned away from his lover for a moment then stood up and moved to sit with Sunyoul who stiffened a bit but didn’t object to squeezing the older’s shoulder for comfort. Kuhn sighed heavily, he knew he lost and somehow, he still wanted to believe this wasn’t happening.
“I’ll apologize to Wooshin when he wakes up.” “If he wakes up you bastard. If Wooshin dies because of this then you get to explain to Andy what happened.”
Xiao growled and everyone watched as his hands balled into fists so tightly that his knuckles went white as a sheet. Kuhn took good note of how angry the youngest was, the divide was already so clear but no one would back down enough. Jinhoo frowned more as he waited for Kuhn to say something, anything, but that didn’t happen.
“Let’s all go. We need to check on Wooshin. Gyujin you stay with Kuhn and make sure he doesn’t do anything as stupid as last night. Kogyeol you get to stay in my room for the rest of the day until we all get back.”
The others stood up and walked out of the dorm, slamming the door behind them as they exited. Neither of the boys tried to fight Gyujin, they knew what happens when he gets angry and it wasn’t pretty. Kuhn stayed put in the living room while Kogyeol went to Jinhoo’s room to reflect on what happened. There was peace in the dorm for the first time in the last 12 hours but would it be kept?

UP10TION Scenarios
5. CHANCE
JINWOOK: Although he was smiling you can tell something was bothering him. You were being careful as to not spoil his mood. He looked happy anyway, so you decided not to ask. But in the end your curiosity won. “Perhaps you have something to tell me?” In reply, he dropped his gaze on his coffee and mumbled, “I do but it can wait till tomorrow, I think.” Your heart throbbed in excitement. On the other hand it made his heart race as well, remembering the tiny black velvet box lying peacefully in his drawer back home.
SOOIL: Hanging out with him was never boring. No matter what he said was too funny for you. Luckily the other customers were busy with their own conversations. No one paid you attention in that diner. “Will you ever stop being funny? It feels like I’ve been laughing for two hours straight,” you said, grinning. “You’re too serious. Take things lightly. You should laugh more.” Grateful, you stared at him with his words still ringing in your ears. For him it’s the sound of your laugh that he likes to hear.
MINSOO: Admiring the exterior of the coffee shop, you suddenly got the impulse to buy something to drink from it. The tiny bell rang when you opened the French doors. The interior was more classy and beautiful. It was like you were somewhere in Europe. The feeling of someone looking at you made you turn your head. And there he was, sitting alone with a cup of coffee in front of him. You thought you saw him smile at you before you looked away.
JINHYUK: Confused and surprised, you stared at him. Seeing him outside your house wasn’t a normal thing for you. “What are you doing out here?” he asked before you could say anything. It should be you asking him that question. “I live near here,” you responded casually. “What are you doing here? You’re not from here.” He put his hands in his pockets and sighed. “I’m just passing.” The answer sounded uncertain to you. “I’ll be going then,” you said, leaving him dismayed that he didn’t talk to you longer when he actually waited for you.
CHANGHYUN: What he’s playing on the piano made you want to close your eyes, but you didn’t. You can’t help but admire him. He’s always a surprise. The music stopped and he said, “Come here.” He patted the space beside him. “Let’s play that piece we practiced before.” Immediately you remembered the notes of the piece he taught you years ago. He began playing the first notes and then you followed. You were too focused with the keys that you didn’t notice he was smiling every time your fingers brushed with his.
WOOSEOK: “Sorry I won’t be able to meet you right now. I’ll call you later,” you told him on the phone. You really wanted to see him but you just can’t say no to your boss. Work was the reason why didn’t get to spend quality time with him sometimes. “Alright, don’t stay out late,” he advised. “I’ll wait for your call.” The excitement in his steps died as he signed off for work. He understood how you busy were. Maybe today’s not really the right time for you to know.
YEIN: “Are you going to leave?” he asked after you stood up. You heard a hint of sadness in his voice and noticed a crease on his forehead. “Well, it’s getting dark and we’re done studying anyway.” He was already packing his textbooks in his bag that littered the table. “I’m not,” you corrected him. “I’m thinking of going to the convenience store, do you want anything?” The patrons in the public library were leaving one by one, so he thought you might do the same. “Don’t go alone. I’ll go there with you,” he said. “Okay,” you responded, trying hard not to smile.
GYUJIN: The subway was already crowded when it arrived at the station. It’s the rush hour and you’re thankful to be able to catch it. Your eyelids were drooping in tiredness, but you fought sleep. There’s not a seat available, so you can’t afford to lose your balance. As the subway was approaching the next station, you turned to look at your left where he was standing beside you. Finally the train halted, with him bumping into you gently. It was awkward and accidental—a kiss on the forehead that wasn’t really a kiss. “I’m sorry,” the tall guy mumbled. You peeked at him only to see him blushing in embarrassment.
HWANHEE: Sighing, you blinked your eyes as you get your books from your locker. You left your glasses at home again, or so you thought. He was standing beside you when you closed the locker door. “You dropped this,” he uttered, handing your notepad back. “Thank you,” you said, smiling. “I didn’t notice. Like how I forgot wearing my glasses.” You’ve never talked to him casually like this before. Suddenly it felt good seeing him. He smiled and pointed at your head. “Turns out you forgot you’re wearing them,” he said, smirking. That smirk added to the reasons why you got flustered.
DONGYEOL: Tiny drops of rain began falling. Too dazed at the look he was giving you, you ignored it. “Would you change if i… if I tell you,” he stuttered. “Since I met you, I’m always happy. I like being with you.” he pulled on the hood of your jacket to shield you from the drizzle. Now that you noticed it, his proximity caused your mind to malfunction. He even took a step closer, making you speechless. “I want you to know that I like you. Do you feel the same about me?” he asked expectantly. “Yes,” you breathed, nodding your head in reply. He smiled, taking your hand.

UP10TION Wei (Lee Sungjun) X Kogyeol (Go Minsoo)
Bias X Reader
Genre: Fluff and contemplation, lol
PART 1 (maybe)
You had been anticipating this school trip for months. It was your first overnight-trip, or any kind of trip really, without your family. Just you and your friends. Well, and the rest of your classmates and the supervising faculty staff as well. It was your class’ turn to take a historical tour that all the students enrolled in that history course took, at some point during their semester, to visit and learn more about the various historical spots in the country as per usual of the course. It would be a five hour drive to the location, so the buses had to leave at 6:00am. You would get to the location and then spend the night and return in the afternoon the next day. So that was also exciting, but stressful at the same time. There was nothing in your closet that you wanted to be seen in. Luckily, you already discussed this with your friends and you were going shopping with the money from your part-time job on the weekends to buy a new outfit at least for the first day. The second day didn’t seem to matter as much. It would be a short day and you would just riding a bus for the bulk of it. You met your friends at the indoor mall on the other side of town. After conceding to your friend Ailee’s requests to get some food first, you all took your trays of food and sat at the high chairs in the mall’s food court. Your eyes caught sight of a familiar group of guys first. You nudged your best friend’s side urgently.   “Jiji, look! Look!”  Jiji turned and looked in your direction. “Sungjun is here. Is this fate or what…” You mused, fantastically whimsical. Jiji smirked and took a long sip of her bubble tea before answering you.
“Or what. This is the closest mall to school. Everybody comes here.” “Whatever. Just come with me.” You responded flippantly while dragging her off her bar stool and coming down off of yours simultaneously. Jiji’s eyes bugged. “You’re going to confess to him here?” “I have to. If I don’t tell him soon I think I’ll explode.” You both started to make your way over to where he was. Jiji halted you in both of your tracks. “What about, Minsoo?” She asked you, almost frantically. It made you stop moving. More out of confusion than anything else. “What about him?” Jiji bit her lip and shot a look over towards Ailee and the other girls. “I wasn’t supposed to tell you….” “Tell me what? Hurry up, Sungjun is about to leave—“ “Three weeks ago Ailee told me that Minsoo told her in strict confidence that he was going to ask you out on this trip, they’ve been planning something—but I don’t know what they’re planning exactly so don’t get mad at me okay? And I know you said you gave up on him last semester-but love doesn’t disappear that fast right? It was all just bad timing and I’m just the messenger who was never supposed to be the messenger!” Jiji’s words tumbled out of her mouth faster than she could even keep up with and spun in circles around your head twice as fast. All you could get out was, “What?” You felt, both, glued to the floor and as if you were swimming in thick water. You and Minsoo had grown up together. You met him when you transferred to a different school when you were 13. You had a crush on Minsoo immediately and you, being the type of person you were, even confessed to him within the first month of meeting him. He told you he didn’t even know you and you should just be friends. You compiled. Hoping that once he got to know you better, you’d date. So settled for that. Keeping hope close to your heart for all these years. It paid off. During the summer break of your last year (of high school), he confessed to you. Stating that he would’ve done it sooner but he had thought you had given up on him a long time ago. You assured him you had not. It was almost a happy ending. Until you were waitlisted at your university of choice. The same University as Minsoo. You refused to go to any other school. So you opted to enroll in an online school to take some University courses come spring, so you wouldn’t fall behind, and reapply the next year. Minsoo, on the other hand, had been accepted and was leaving come fall. So after only a few months of blissful meeting, you told him with a heavy heart that he should go and experience college life without burden. He tried to convince you that nothing would change between you if you dated and he would still come down and see you every day. You couldn’t accept introducing that kind of stress on him while he was studying. So you told him that it was just over. He took it pretty hard. It led to him distancing himself from you after a while. Which you took as what it was. When you finally got accepted into his University a year later after reapplying, he actually approached you first. However, neither of you could find the right time or moment to bring up the idea of the two of you. You wanted to confess again, but didn’t want it to seem like you were just following him around like a sad puppy. You were already at the same University as him when during the last year, with your good grades, you could’ve applied literally anywhere else…You started to think to yourself. Why didn’t you? Then you wouldn’t be in this mess now. “Earth to Y/N.” Jiji gently flicked your forehead to snap you back to reality. Your focus rearranged and you spotted Sungjun and his friends leaving the food court and exiting out the side doors of the mall. You exhaled heavily. “What are you doing?” “Exploding.”
The next day came amid much excitement. Your dorm mates stayed up all night with you, helping you not over pack and trying to calm you down. You didn’t know why you were still so excited. It was going to be a sh*t show. Minsoo and Sungjun were both going to be on the trip. They didn’t know each other, but you knew both of them. Ailee was Minsoo’s good friend since they came to this University at the same time and met in new student orientation for first-year University students. You met Sungjun the same way, except, in orientation for transfer students. Jiji, you met through Ailee, who Minsoo had introduced you to, in efforts to help you make new friends when you first came to this school. By simple scheduling necessity, you all took the same History course, just at different times. You sighed again. Was Minsoo really going to confess? You made your way to the meeting place. Where all the students and faculty were gathered around. Everyone was milling about hugging their coats to their mouths and trying to shuffle away the cold. You tried peeking around for faces you recognized. When you couldn’t see anyone past the masses of student bodies, you pulled out your phone to call Jiji. The Head of the History Department called out for everyone’s attention and told everyone to listen for their professor’s name and line up in front of the bus number he would assign to the teacher’s name. Your heart jumped. You had a feeling the bus assignments would be by Professor. That meant you would be riding with Jiji and Sungjun. Ailee on a different bus and Minsoo on another. You breathed a sigh of relief. At least you wouldn’t have to think of anything for the next five hours. You heard the Head of Department call out your Professor and her assigned bus number and made your way through the bustle of students towards your bus. When you arrived, you checked in with your Professor and moved forward to put your overnight bag under the bus. As you backed up, you bumped into a warm body. You turned around surprised, “Oh! Sorry!—“You recognized Minsoo’s smiling face, “Minsoo!” “Why are you surprised? You know I have this class too.” “I know, but I thought they called your professor’s name already. You should be on your bus…” “I came off for a minute to give you something.” He pulled one of his hands from behind his back. It was holding a small plush backpack in the shape of Rilakkuma. “Rilakkuma!” You beamed at the backpack. “I remember you used to collect things like these.” He looked at you slightly nervous. “Do you still like them?” You nodded immediately. He smiled, relieved. The Department Head announced the bus numbers and professor’s name as a last call. Minsoo continued, “There’s things you like inside. Open it when you feel a craving.” You smiled up at him, touched. “Thanks, Minsoo.” “Anytime.” Minsoo lingered, his hand suddenly reaching up and holding yours. “You think if I ride your bus instead, I’ll get in trouble?.” He joked. You laughed a tiny bit, “They’ll probably call roll on the bus to make sure people aren’t skipping. You could get marked absent.” “You’re worth it.” Minsoo remarked without missing a beat. You got a bit shy and looked away, “What’s with you today…” You said softly trying not to smile. Minsoo shrugged while never taking his eyes off of you. “Just making up for lost time, I guess.” You wanted to ask him if it was for lost time to come on the bus ride or lost time that already passed. You heard a knocking on the bus window and looked up, Jiji’s face was warning you to get on the bus already. “I should go.” “Oh? I forgot Jiji was in your class.” He motioned for her to open the window. She obliged, “What do you want, Minsoo—It’s cold!” Minsoo pulled a face at her before answering, “Just make sure you take care of Y/N. I don’t want anything happening to her.” Jiji rolled her eyes at the sentiment. “Oh please! We’re riding a bus down there, not a horse! Y/N come on! They’re pulling off!” Minsoo played with your fingers, “Go. I should go, too. I’ll see you down there.” “Bye.” You called out after him as he squeezed his way past some of the late-arriving students scrambling to find their Professor’s bus. You watched him disappear into the crowd before pushing your way onto the bus. Jiji stood up and flagged you down to where she was sitting. You made your way to her, clutching your purse and new Rilakkuma bag. Her eyes flitted to the plush bag and she couldn’t help but snicker. “Did Minsoo give you that?” You plopped down next to her, and pretended to be nonchalant. “Maybe he did.” “Did he say…anything?…” She probed quietly. You shook your head, knowing what she meant. “Not exactly, no.” “What do you mean ‘not exactly’?” Jiji asked folding her arms and leaning sideways in her seat to face you. You sat catty corner in your seat to face her as well. “I mean, he said things, but didn’t really say anything.” Jiji let out a high pitched sigh of annoyance. “I feel like I’m getting stressed just trying to keep up with you two.” You fixed your mouth to agree with her but got interrupted but a male voice. “Keep up with who? Me and Y/N?” Sungjun’s joking voice filtered into the conversation. You both greeted him happily. “You’re late!” You stated playfully. “I know! I didn’t even hear my alarm clock go off!” “Hm. It’s lucky you didn’t get left behind.” You commented. He smirked, “Lucky for who? Me or you?” He raised an eyebrow. You reached out to hit him and he backed just out of reach, before reaching out and grabbing your hand. “Sit with me.” “I’m already sitting with Jiji.” “Don’t use me as an excuse.” Jiji interjected. You whipped your head around at her and gave her a glare. She just smiled at you. Living for the torment in your eyes. “Be a big girl and make your own decisions.” You heard her loaded statement despite her light tone. “Fine.” You turned to Sungjun, “I’ll sit with you.” Sungjun beamed and picked your bags from you and guided you to an empty pair of seats that happened to be two seats behind Jiji. You scooted in towards the window at his offering and settled in. After putting both of your bags and his own in the overhead above your seats, Sungjun settled down next to you as well. “You wanna know something funny?” “What?” “I’ve been thinking all week how to ask you to sit with me on this bus ride.” “What?” You partially laughed as he held his own semi-embarrassed smile, “Really?” Sungjun nodded his head and let out a grunt while covering his smiling face momentarily. After looking at you for a quick moment, he exhaled and licked his lips due to them being a bit dry, and then looked straight ahead as he spoke. “Don’t ask me why. I just know it’s all I thought about.” “Well here we are.” You tossed in to ease his weird nerves. You felt another opening to tell him your feelings in this moment for some reason. “I saw you in the mall yesterday.” He turned his head towards you in surprise, “You did? Why didn’t you say anything?” “I was going to, but then you left before I could get over to you-it was in the food court and you were eating a hamburger…” You trailed off, not sure why you felt you had to add that last part. Sungjun just laughed at your observation. “You could’ve still come over, if that’s what stopped you. Me eating?” “That wasn’t it.” “Then what was it? And you know it was funny? I was actually talking about you with my friends then.” You felt your confession bubbling at the back of your throat. It was like a compulsion. Everytime you got around him, lately, you wanted to spill your guts. You looked down into your lap and in untimely but pure coincidence, you got a two messages from Minsoo back to back.
let’s eat lunch together today.
I was thinking we could talk…i’ve been having a lot of thoughts lately…
Sungjun’s eyes flitted to your phone. You clicked the screen off immediately but not hurriedly and looked out the window. You heard him ask you innocently, “You okay? Who was that?” “A Senior I know. He wants to have lunch together when we arrive…” You spoke absent-mindedly before remembering the conversation that had been cut off before you saw your text messages, “You said you were talking about me with your friends?” “Mhm.” Sungjun nodded and stood up to get his bag from the overhead. He sat back down and began to rummage through it. “What about me were you talking about?” Instead of answering you, Sungjun handed you a small envelope with your name on it. “Wait! Don’t read it now.” He lips carried a nervous smile as he hurriedly put his hand over yours as you tried to open the envelope. “Read it after the day is over. In your room. Let’s just spend the day happily. Learn new things. Create memories.” You felt your stomach leap forward and twist.

UP10TION REACT: To their crush calling them oppa for the first time
skyleyyeon said to kpopgroupsreact: Hi~ can you do a up10tion reaction when their crush calls them oppa for the first time? ❤💕💗💜
I’m not really sure if it’s like...oppa as in the regular kind for an older male or like oppa as in ‘honey’ since it’s a crush so I’ll go with the former? I hope you still like it >.<
Because I really missed Wooshin in their newest comeback, I decided to put this request out ;-; get well soon Wooshin!
Tumblr media
Jinhoo: It would just be during a casual conversation when you unconsciously just let it slip for the first time, breaking that formality barrier and he wouldn’t be able to hold back that big smile and tingly feeling that came after hearing you say it.
Tumblr media
Kuhn: When you called out to him he’d have ignored it thinking you were calling someone else but when you called him again he turned to see who you were trying to reach and he see’s you right behind him and is surprised af.
Tumblr media
Kogyeol: You had slipped it into the conversation so casually that he was taken aback.
“Wait...what?”
Tumblr media
Wei: Smiley, happy Wei is delighted.
He’d be super chill about it even though it made his heart race so much.
Tumblr media
Bitto: It’ll probably take him a while to process what you said but that smile is going to show up soon enough and it’s about to STAY.
Tumblr media
Wooshin: Slightly flustered at the suddenness of you calling him ‘oppa’. He’s usually the one to make you flustered and embarrassed but now it’s his turn. He can’t even comeback with a decent sassy remark.
“O-oppa?”
Tumblr media
Sunyoul: Pure amazement. You’re glowing to him right now. Like shining. Like there is this light radiating from you after you said it.
(I couldn’t NOT use this gif, I mean COME ONNNNN)
Tumblr media
Gyujin: Would act like it was no big deal and try to remain “cool” as if he didn’t even hear it. Fun fact: He is never COOL. He is an awkward and weird cinnamon roll.
Tumblr media
On the inside/when you leave, this is more of an accurate reaction:
Tumblr media
Hwanhee: A bit like Gyujin he’d try to be casual as if it wasn’t different.
“Uh-huh? Did you need something?”
Tumblr media
On the inside it feels like he’s in this situation. Honestly, he feels so attacked rn like how could you do this to him and corner him like you’re no better than Xiao wtf are you doing are you crazy like look at the poor boi just minding his own business and now this and asdfghjkl...
Tumblr media
Xiao: His aegyo has no filter, he’s just cute. So when he hears OPPA, he’s a fit of smiles and giggles and melty cute and fluffy and soft little marshmallow who’s not really a marshmallow because he’s got abs since like forever like how even does this boy manage like wtf is wrong with him put those penguins down you are being so r00d...
(Is this not the fluffiest thing ever? LIKE HELLO?)

Boyfriend Kogyeol
Anon: hello can I request boyfriend kogyeol :-)
Tumblr media
ok, so we need to get one thing straight,,
he has no shame
none, whatsoever
which means he’s not ashamed to kiss you around the boys or do skinship in public,, he kind of enjoys being evil and grossing the others out
he’s also not reserved at all about admitting his feelings for you
he sees no shame in caring so much for you and is not shy about voicing this, about telling you sweet but cheesy things and overall just being greasy
and if you’re upset, he will do the most ridiculous things to make you happy
no matter how stupid he looks, he’ll act goofy and run around crazily until you crack a smile
((side note: he loves your smile so much))
((he says it’s like looking at the sun))
and if even his fun nature doesn’t cheer you up, he’ll bring a smile to your face with his amazing rapping skills
he’s known for being an amazing vocalist but his natural rapping talent is so underappreciated,, >.>
so he’ll freestyle some sick bars until either you cheer up or someone threatens him with violence
kuhn is the most supportive of your relationship
of course, all the guys are since you make minsoo happy
but kuhn is especially supportive
he shares a room with kogyeol so he’s exposed the most to the dynamics between you and has seen you two kiss more times than he can care to remember
both of you talk freely to him, whether it’s about your lives or maybe something you fought about,, and because of his honest nature, kuhn can be subjective and give really good advice
although he’s close to kogyeol, he won’t blindly support him so if he thinks minsoo is making a mistake, he’ll point it out immediately
and the same goes for you
kogyeol cares deeply for his group so whenever he declares his admiration for you, he truly means it
“you know, y/n, you’re truly number 1 in my heart”
“oh, like that scorpion?”
“i thought we agreed to never speak of that!”
kogyeol is very touchy,, of course, if you ask him not to (if you’re uncomfortable with that) then he will stop no problem but if not,,
he’ll always play with your hair, or your fingers. and if he sees crumbs or a grain of rice on your chin, he’ll gently wipe it off. whatever he’s eating or drinking, he’ll offer you some and isn’t grossed out by sharing straws or forks.
he always wants to take care of you, to be near you and to make you happy.
he’s young and his career is his main focus right now. he’s not interested in something mega serious like marriage and he’s often occupied with filming or practicing. but his devotion to you is still evident, through his adoration of you. he learns to grow and mature within the relationship so there will be rocky patches or fights but that’s normal. you two learn from them and move on to become even stronger. while you don’t know what the future holds, you’re sure that minsoo will be in it ...
