The King of Scepters, also known as the King of Wands is a Nisu that leads with ambition, he understands power of will & determination. When he’s balanced he becomes a beacon of inspiration to those around him through his passion but when he’s imbalanced he becomes lustful for power which causes him to become prideful & impulsive. He represents the element of fire which fits his burning desires as fire is the spark of hope that pushes us to tap into our inner power to overcome tough odds. In the image the Nisu of Scepters is standing on top of a structure holding his scepter & looking up at the sky while below him is a sun disk & next to him is Bennu, both key symbols of Afurah’s presence as the sun is the spark of fire that gives all living things the energy to thrive through its divine radiance. Being born under this elemental aspect of the Divine Masculine can be a challenging journey just like the other aspects, this aspect in particular challenges men to control their hunger for power as is can not only burn down everything else around us like a volcano eruption it can also burn us down as men internally like the sun itself going into super nova implosion. A very intricate power gifted to Nisu of Scepters by Atum as they are gifted with the power of Duat the 4th realm, also known as the underworld or netherworld. When a Nisu of Scepters masters self control, he awakens the true potential of his will power & can become an indomitable force of nature.

Now is the time to make a deeper commitment to operating in your purpose...to bringing forth your genius. We all have purpose and genius. No one is excluded.
But just like mining for gold, your treasures are deep and must be excavated. It's time to put the work in...not hard work...heart work. Pour your heart into the mission to "know Thyself".

This holiday season is generally seen as a time of joy and celebration. However, for some people, it can be a time of difficult reflection, sadness, loneliness, anxiety and depression. Psychoanalyst James P. Cattell coined the term holiday syndrome, defining it as a reaction that manifests itself at the end of the year. He describes this syndrome as: "A presence of diffuse anxiety, numerous regressive phenomena, including marked feelings of helplessness, increased irritability, nostalgic rumination, depressive affect, and a desire for magical problem-solving." This period does not precipitate but can expose emotional suffering. Loneliness for some, the stress associated with travel and family gatherings, for others, confronting losses, and financial insecurity, among many other factors, are routinely cited as contributing to an increase in episodes of depression. There are no ready-made formulas to resolve this confrontation with existence. But as Dunker says: There is a mistake in looking at our lives as if we were just productive machines, limiting ourselves to what we earn or produce, as if our application to studies were an investment, as if our dreams were goals. And he wisely points out: "To weave the thread of desire that connects who we are to what we were, inventing what we will be, it is necessary to examine the intensity and quality of what is linked to certain things we call desire. And may we gently mirror and magnify the light of others, welcoming their shadows. Dulce Tereza By Giorgio Rigotto. Clinical psychologist. CRP 07/03860. The Voice of Happiness
After Bankei had passed away, a blind man who lived near the master’s temple told a friend: “Since I am blind, I cannot watch a person’s face, so I must judge his character by the sound of his voice. Ordinarily when I hear someone congratulate another upon his happiness or success, I also hear a secret tone of envy. When condolence is expressed for the misfortune of another, I hear pleasure and satisfaction, as if the one condoling was really glad there was something left to gain in his own world.
“In all my experience, however, Bankei’s voice was always sincere. Whenever he expressed happiness, I heard nothing but happiness, and whenever he expressed sorrow, sorrow was all I heard.”

NONDUAL MEDITATION
youtube
Key pointers:-
1. You cannot practise being Awareness. You are it, here and now.
2. Remember:- Whatever I am aware of, that I am not.
3. Keep it real.
4. Stay with the teachings of Vedanta, read the teachings, contemplate/think about the teachings, till it becomes clear - I AM THAT.

DA4M Letter 2: The Rhythm of Effort and Ease— A Taoist Reflection
In the pursuit of personal goals, particularly when the stakes feel high, a familiar conundrum emerges: the tension between the need for progress and the toll it takes on our well-being. The modern world often praises relentless effort, demanding that we push through fatigue and discomfort to reach an imagined summit. Yet, this approach can leave us drained, bereft of the vitality we need to truly succeed. How, then, can we honour both our aspirations and the natural rhythms of our being?
There is a quiet wisdom in the Tao that speaks to the heart of this conundrum. It whispers that life does not unfold through relentless striving but through harmony with its natural rhythms. The principle of wu wei—effortless action—is not the absence of effort, as some might misunderstand, but the cultivation of action that arises naturally, without force or resistance. To fight against the rhythm of your being is akin to paddling upstream; the energy spent far outweighs the progress made, and the waters inevitably pull you back to where you began.
The modern world reveres the push forward—progress, productivity, endless motion. Yet in nature, where Taoism draws its lessons, there is no such tyranny. A river flows not because it must arrive somewhere, but because it cannot do otherwise. The current moves at its own pace, bending around obstacles without strain. Similarly, a tree does not rush its growth; it stands in quiet patience, drawing strength from the earth and sunlight in due time. To imagine these forces burdened by guilt for what they have not yet accomplished feels absurd, and yet, in our human lives, such guilt weighs heavily.
This guilt often stems from a narrative that we are only as valuable as what we produce, achieve, or master. It insists that any moment not spent in motion is a moment wasted. But Taoism offers a gentle counterpoint: motion is not inherently virtuous, and stillness is not inherently wasteful. Rest is not the opposite of progress but its necessary companion. To honour this truth is to honour your design, acknowledging that just as every day requires a night, every exertion requires recovery.
Consider the bowstring. Too much tension, and it snaps; too little, and it cannot launch the arrow. Balance is found in the fluid adjustment of its pull—not rigidly fixed but responsive to the task at hand. So it is with our efforts. Some days may call for long hours of study, focus sharpened and sustained. Others may demand pause—a moment to breathe, to reflect, to let the mind and body recalibrate. To disregard these signals is to invite diminishing returns, where effort breeds exhaustion, and exhaustion becomes futility.
Even within the animal world, this wisdom is evident. A predator does not hunt ceaselessly; after the chase, it rests. A bird cannot remain in flight forever; it perches. These rhythms are not borne of weakness but of an instinctual understanding of endurance. Humans, gifted—or burdened—with reason, often lose sight of this primal balance, mistaking the push for progress as a necessity rather than a choice.
Your journey is not merely about reaching an exam date or securing a position; it is about preserving the harmony of the self as you move toward these goals. If the body aches and the mind resists, forcing them forward is not a demonstration of strength but a failure to listen. And listening, as Taoism reminds us, is an act of wisdom.
The Tao does not admonish effort; it invites alignment. It asks you to recognise that true progress is not measured in hours studied or tasks completed but in how well your actions align with the deeper flow of your life. To push when your energy is depleted is to grasp at fruit not yet ripe. In due time, the ripeness will come—not through force but through trust in the process.
So perhaps the way forward is not to push harder but to soften into your rhythm. The task will still be there when you return, but you, refreshed and rebalanced, will meet it with greater clarity and resolve. This is not a surrender to inaction but an embrace of wise action. And in this, you may find not only success but a quiet and enduring peace.

🪞 Someone's perception of you should not DEFINE who you are.
Know who you are and who's you are and NEVER back down from it. 🌹
Value yourself and know what you have to offer. If you don't value yourself, you will always end up with less than desirable experiences.
It's a choice to believe what "they say", and it's a choice to not let what "they say" paralyze you.
Choose to FREE YOURSELF of people's opinions.
If you believe you're shxt, you will get shxt.
Self-love, self-confidence, and self-worth exudes and radiates from within ... from the inside out.
Walk with your head held up high and tell yourself daily, "I AM THAT I AM ... imperfection, flaws, and all!! 💋
