SLV Reboot, anyone??

I still haven't convinced myself to write the fic, so I am going on an Almost-Middle-Of-The-Night-Rant/Ramble about the scene in my head instead:

(This is about School for Little Vampires; just fyi, for my followers/moots who aren't into that show)

So you guys know the (according to the wiki) Season 4 episode "So Long Klott" (Spoilers btw), where the Count decides Klott is too young to go to a regular school, because he keeps fumbling his tests, and ends up making him leave with Dr. Ironfang?

Yeah, imagine, you're Alarich. Your students are all mentally in shambles, because not only did they lose their friend, they probably feel like they've failed with helping him study. And your teachers were also technically heavily against sending Klott away. So now, you have to go and hope that Ironfang hasn't driven across the country by now, so you can swiftly bring the boy back.

Well, you find the doctor's car, except not only is there no one inside (except maybe the driver? idk how my guy's car works), but it has stopped in front of what is very obviously a trap.

But you probably don't worry too much. Dr. Ironfang is a decently competent - only occasionally off his rockers - vampire, who probably took the boy with him, as to not leave him alone at the very obvious trap.

You follow the footsteps in the snow, or the bait, or whatever, and what do you find? DR. IRONFANG IN A GODDAMN CAGE.

This is somewhat more worrying. You go and free him, probably isn't too hard, because nobody's around, and you learn what happened with Pollidori.

But then, looking around, you do a double take and realize that there was no Klott in the cage.

'Cause guess what? He was forced to escape into the forest, where he is currently actively being chased, by Pollidori, the vampire hunter.

Klott, the probably 5 vampire-year old boy (I'm really bad with guessing ages tbh), who

Doesn't know squat about anything (at least theory wise, as he proves his knowledge in the eps) and

Is literally not tall enough to bite somebody's neck

is alone, in the forest, in the snow, with Pollidori, who may be kind of an idiot, but has also managed to capture you around three or four times now. He is also actively planning to murder you, and your staff, and your students, every night.

I can imagine the time between that, and him and Dr. Ironfang finding Klott, were probably not a nice five to ten minutes.

I mean, maybe I'm also exaggerating. After all, Alarich (at least imo) is not know for being very expressive. But dude does care for his students, that is obvious.

It's just that thinking further about it, while we of course knew he was going to be fine, Klott was technically in incredible danger in this episode.

Day 9 of OC-October, I kept drawing my ambassador OCs from that fantasy story Shuzo & Everett are from. This is Hernia; she's a Dwarf from the kingdom of Giants chosen to be their translator. In language? Partially. Also? To convince Elves that Giants aren't terrifying. Mainly? To try convincing Shuzo to not act terrifying.

It sounds tiring, but they're best friends. They party, feast & hang out all the time, even though Hernia's barely tall as his knees. Dwarves & Giants have similar alcohol tolerance. (Her name's Hernia because she's a pain in the ass. It's /pos in their culture, I swear)

How a Fan Helped a Sick Stars Player

Seattle, WA

5pm

The city in which the newest NHL will take place on 2021. A Stars fan has been wanting for this to come. Watching live stream of his team + interviews of the players and Tyler.

6pm

Tyler is having dinner with his friends and is having the time of his life. Just enjoying their company. Finishing cooking. His friend Jordan continues where he left off.

T-Tyler?

His friend finishes cooking and turns off the stove. Then suddenly...right there and then as he drinks BioSteel Red

Jetting from Seattle to DFW via the Southwest Air. They touchdown at the airport in 10p. There, they meet the coach. He tells them the situation.

Prior to this, James got a notice during work that he will be temporarily relocated to the Albertsons branch in Dallas

The girl who has been following Tyler is nowhere to be seen for the first time. Rather, in one of the days where James didn't have any work. He'd visit his friend and work with Stars.

Always on her phone, when there were times when he proposed a no media. So that he could spend time with his friends and "so-called" friend. But she wouldn't comply. But what made him sick?

Was it due to the BioSteel drink that if allowed to see James, a Stars fan from Seattle. That she'd spike his drink? Or due to a hot temp? James, along with Jordan questioned what happened.

James checked his drink. So the hot temp was out of the question. Being like a swat cop. That's odd...is that girl still here?!

Klott goes to catch that girl who was on her way out.

Not so fast. Klott cuffs her. James went out to question her. "Did u do something to his BioSteel drink? Don't act like a princess. I want answers, and I want them now.

What did u do during that time his friends were outside?

K, I admit it. I spiked the drink.

So it is true. U just made him sick. James, why don't u go to see him. I'll take her down to the DFW court *damn, and I had to miss my flight. Due to this - he said in his mind* - Jordan.

James took his motocross bike made for the streets to see #91.

As he parked his bike in a free from pay zone parking spot in the garage, turned off his bike. Grabbed his keys and headed inside. Asked at the receptionist if there was a Seguin. And it checked out. The doctors led him to #91's room. How did u know about 91 - some would say.

He watched games upon games of the Stars, but couldn't get the chance to see them live in person.

Well, until now. - Tyler said with a smile

Are u sure you're supposed to be up and about sir? U just woke up. - said a doctor.

Yeah, I'll be ok. More importantly that it's really cool that u guys made the long haul trip work here. - said a nurse

How did u know? - Tyler

Oh, his friend got (who is a boss in Albertsons) got in contact with me. Making it so that he can work on days that the Stars doesn't have any home game - said a nurse

James told his buddy what happened...

Yeah, I figured as much. She never did set her eyes on me. Despite her hovering over me or being next to me to see what I was doing. It never seemed to work. And u can guess why she was on a blocking people spree. Never wanted people, heck even the Stars community know what she was up to. Making them like "media blind".

But to worry about me too along with the Stars. It's like you found a new brother.

The DFW doctor also comes in."How's our Stars player?" - he said

Riding with his buddy James on James' motocross bike for the first time. Tyler got to show his buddy places that he hasn't been to while he was in Dallas. Like the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, the Dallas eye, Dallas Museum etc... turning a sour day in to a brighter day. While taking either a hilarious selfie or a photobomb. Of which Tyler did, at the end of their journey (which included a private practice into the practice arena). Both cracked up as did the team, with Tyler's shenanigans.

Win’daji - für Itsu den Druiden, der die Gruppe Orgrimmar verwirrte. Sekhmet - für den Tüftler Dudex, der die Gruppe Silbermond teilweise paranoid werden ließ. Tyiria/Hirschi/Bera - für den super arroganten Prof. Güldensonn, welcher der Gruppe Beutebucht einzuheitzen wusste. Arylea - für den Schlüssel des Feuers. Thinael - für das Pergament von Ha'zina./p>

Uttrakha - Danke für all die Unterstützung, das Auflösen meiner Verwirrtheit - die ist leider angeboren. Du hast so oft meinen Kopf, aus der Schlinge gezogen. Danke das Du von Beginn an dabei warst und hinter mir gestanden bist wie eine Eiche! Faelys - Danke fürs mit mir durch dick und dünn gehen, meine Launen ertragen und mich immer wieder ausgleichend. Ihr drei ich kann mir keine besseren und unterstützenden Menschen für diesen Plot Vorstellen als Euch! Vielen Dank an Euch das Ihr mich mehrfach ins Bett verwiesen habt, selbst im Finale als es mir so dreckig ging und Ihr unser aller gemeinsames Baby nach Hause geschaukelt habt!

Vielen Dank an all unsere Spieler die mit uns zusammen diese Aufregende, spannende, aufreibende, stressige, hitzige, spaßige, erlebnisreiche, herausfordernde Jagt mitgestaltet haben. Ohne Spieler wäre so ein Plot nicht möglich, denn dann wäre alle Planung umsonst. Wir hoffen Ihr hattet von allem was dabei und vor allem ein Erlebnis von dem Ihr etwas zehren könnt. Dass es nicht immer 100 % für jeden passt, ist uns bewusst doch haben wir unser Bestes getan, um alles in allem ein stimmiges Gesamtbild für jeden zu erschaffen und 3 Wochen Freizeitgestaltung anzubieten, die man wahrnehmen konnte. Denn genau das sollte auch ein Plot sein, selbst wenn er OOC anstrengend wird hier und dort, sollte der Spaß daran überwiegen, für jeden Spieler aber auch für Spielleitungen.

Damit hoffe ich niemanden vergessen zu haben - aber sicherlich habe ich das irgendwo, egal wie sehr man sich anstrengt

Ein großes Danke an alle die ich nicht namentlich oder in Summe irgendwo eingeschlossen habe.

What's Oddworld?

*rubs hands together gleefully* oh boy :DOddworld is a game series developed by Oddworld Inhabitants, and consists of the following games:

Abe’s Oddysee (1997)

Abe’s Exoddus (1998)

Munch’s Oddysee (2001)

Stranger’s Wrath (2005)

New ‘n’ Tasty (2014)

Soulstorm (Upcoming, 2017)

(There are also several games that haven’t come to be for one reason or another, these being Squeek’s Oddysee, Hand of Odd, and The Brutal Ballad of Fangus Klott, but I digress).

In the majority of the games you play as a fellow called Abe, a member of an alien race known as Mudokons. Unfortunately, they’re enslaved and opressed by another alien race called the Glukkons. The plot of the first game kicks off when lowly floor-waxer Abe discovers that the meat-packing plant where he works, Rupture Farms, is losing profits and plans to turn their workers, the Mudokons into their next meat treat. So Abe decides to book it out of there, rescuiung as many of his fellow workers as he can along the way.

Our other protags, Munch and Stranger, are in equally dire predicaments of their own; Munch is the last of his kind, having to escape from the experiment-crazy Vykkers, and Stranger is a bounty hunter who needs to raise a lot of money fast for a mysterious life-saving operation.

ANother note of interest is that the games (moreso the earlier ones) are hard as shit. Seriously. I’ve never admitted this to anyone but @freakova (who I met through Oddworld and who would be equally delighted to talk about it with you!) but I never managed to complete Abe’s Oddysee. I was almost at the end but hand to give up. orz

At the moment there’s an ARG running to promote Soulstorm, with all the various details of what’s been uncovered and so on over on the Soulstorm site.

So yeah, that’s Oddworld!
