so i saw someone post abt how epic is abt how many terrible things a main character can do before ppl start rooting for him and like. that is a good point. but it made me think of an article comparing oliver queen n odysseus of all things. like i’m no classics major so spare me here but odysseus is kinda like an early archetype of the anti-hero, n the article asks a lot abt what makes a hero. can you justify your actions based on what you’ve endured? and for how long, until those actions become too irredeemable?

im not still mad about phillip the white demon klemmer's comments about rip's family surviving. im not. im not.

EXCEPT. except. how do you miss the point that bad. legends season 1 asks the question Why should you keep going if you couldnt save the people you love? what happens when there is no home to return to? and then says the world doesn't end. it may feel like defeat it may feel insurmountable but it isnt. you will find a new home. you will find a new purpose. you cannot go back and fix every tragedy. but you can keep moving forward. you are strong enough. i promise.

legends might shoot itself in the foot IMMEDIATELY afterwards in the first episode s2 but s1 stands unparalleled as a tragedy with a bittersweet ending. like. phil you dont even GET it you stupid little blonde bitch
