haii.. i just remembered 101 dalmatians,,
ik kate isn’t blonde but she reminds me of one of the characters who looked just like their dogs in the one scene,, more so just a joyous look and dark eyes like the big fluffy dog she walks around with,
AND! A MEET-CUTE LIKE THE MOVIE! lucky smells cat on u and absolutely books it in your direction, kate runs into u and silliness ensues
Okay I recently rewatched that film too and you have no idea how happy this made me. I literally have not stopped thinking about how I want Perdita and Pongo or Lady and Tramp style au. I just want to be the Lady to her Tramp so bad, I'm so giddy you have no idea. The vibes, for lack of better term, are so on point and I want KittyHawk to be like that! Also I need to know which background character you're talking about! Anyways, I felt obliged, and I really wanted to do a quick little blurb about this; so like a raven handing you trash as a present I present (pun not intended) this thing:
Really it wasn’t so bad. New York's up and coming vigilante, being mentored by her childhood hero, she didn’t miss going to school or really her mother at all. Though, it occurred to Kate that something was missing. She didn’t know what, her schedule was filled, training saving people, on the odd occasion she was requested at Bishop Security. She felt as though she were in waiting. She was itching for something bigger, something more important than her every day vigilantism. She pushed herself harder, she hardly thought about anything but being Hawkeye. She just needed something more, something big like what she’d dealt with at christmas. Really she wondered if this was all too easy. She privately hoped there would be some crisis more worthy of her attention. Something big to throw herself into.
Kate sat on her couch, bouncing an arrow against her knee and staring pensive at the television. Lucky lay at her feet, tail swishing almost rhythmically in time with Kate’s tapping. He raised his head, jumping up suddenly impatient. Lucky began to make a fuss, whining and turning in circles then nudging Kate with his snout.
Kate scrunched her nose and looked at the dog, “What’s up?” then sighed, “you’re probably right.” and shut off the television, dropping the arrow on the couch. She tossed on her boots and a sweater, and very nearly tripped when Lucky pulled at his leash.
Central park was pleasantly cool, and Lucky was still impatient, he was practically dragging Kate along, sniffing at the ground. Whatever was up with him, she couldn’t tell, but he was excited so she elected to indulge him. Though she remained at a measured walking pace, really their morning run was never enough but it was unusual for Lucky to be so energetic by this time in the afternoon. There was a breeze as they approached the lake, making the water look choppy and particularly cold. Lucky’s head sprang up very suddenly, and he launched forward, practically running into the only other person on the bridge with them. A woman in an overlarge sweater who looked surprised and somewhat harassed as Lucky rounded her, sniffing excitedly.
“Lucky!” Kate tried to calm him, or pull him back.
The woman had hardly a moment to comprehend before Kate barrelled right into her. Unable to stop the dog’s tirade they had been quite literally tied up in his leash. Kate tried to keep them steady, “I’m so sorry, I don’t know what-” another tug at the leash and down they went, a hard crash on the cobblestone. Kate had very nearly toppled directly on top of the poor woman, doing her best to brace herself so as to not crush her.
“Oh my god, i’m so sorry! I don’t know what happened, he’s never like this I-” Kate went on, trying her best to detangle them. The girl looked surprised and a little harassed, dark curls sticking up as if in surprise, several books tossed from her bag, a deep blush on her cheeks as she tried to collect herself, gathering her skirts.
“I’m so sorry, here let me,” Kate offered a hand to help the woman up, which to her relief she did take, though hesitantly.
“I can't believe it, normally he’s a really good listener, Lucky down!” Lucky was still sniffing excitedly at the poor girl, though she didn’t look at all frightened of him.
“It’s alright, really,” Ophelia said in a rather small voice.
“Here, let me help with your things-” Kate reached for one of the books that had escaped her bag.
“No!” Ophelia chirped. “No, it’s alright you’ve done enough-” She was blushing, unused to sticking up for herself.
Kate hesitated, and for the first time they made eye contact. Ophelia was instantly struck, the woman who had run into her was beautiful, tall, long hair, boyish in her way. For a moment it was as if her mind had skipped, but as she came back to herself she averted her gaze, her flush deepening. When she looked up again, she noticed Kate was still looking at her, and as if they both realized what a ridiculous situation this had become they started to laugh.
#i'm so so sorry I know this is awful I just needed to write it down and I wanted you to know how happy this made me#KittyHawk

Hi, I'm wondering if Bravo/Echo/Tango/Delta/Falco or any other member of the Jolly Wrenches Squadron, or even Kittyhawk (not exactly a Jolly Wrencher), plays an orchestral instrument?
Cuz I'm sort of a fan of symphony and wind orchestras, and the Jolly Wrenches somehow remind me of several excellent concerts performed by the United States military bands ♪^_^
I have a good feeling most of the members probably do, mostly just from picking up instruments in school and whatnot, but likely just a small handful of them still play anything. I could see Bravo [hoomanyzed] struggling to remember how to strum on a guitar, while Echo is still very painfully well rehearsed with a trombone.
I also think even guys like Flysenhower and Kittyhawk know/knew some stuff. The former really strikes me as having known either piano or cello in his formative years (in WoC form this is from the pre-boat time, all that - and if that completely confuses you, let me refer you to my "naval boats aren't born boats" headcanon from 'The Decision' on AO3) As for Kittyhawk? His pittie days were on the front lines of the marching band, and that kindred spirit stays with him on the ocean. He can - and will - still sound off some of those old tunes today. Different body, same heart. He will not hesitate to get sentimental every time a band plays.

MUWAHAHAHA 🥥 and 🥞
Tehehe sorry for the long winded rambles these answers became.
🥥 - talk about a memorable moment in your relationship.
Okay so I don't talk about it much, but I'm going to say when we got together. Kate and I being strangely intimate friends were just hanging out. One of us was showing the other a show, or we were just talking, and I'm just casually sat on her lap. I think this is normal behavior, because she's just a touchy person, and Kate has a moment of self awareness and realizes; wait I'm in love with you, you're clearly in love with me. I've been flirting with you for six months. Why am I still waiting? Probably definitely quite nervous, but not nearly as nervous as I was.
🥞 - who spoils the other more?
Kate being a certified rich kid spoils me more. I would love to spoil her but quite honestly I'm a (at least mostly) student who's got to pay everything by myself. I do not have the ability. I should like to spoil her in other ways? Perhaps love and affection should suffice.
