Kunzite is now complete, united with Zoisite. As with the previous models of Sir Zoisite and Sir Nephrite during the Golden Kingdom era, the past life design for Sir Kunzite in this story mixes a bit of the usual 90s anime uniform, and the sword and shield from episode 44, with a color scheme more like the early manga and the two-belt sword sheath from the Materials Collection / manga golden kingdom design. Completing the set, it’s Jadeite! He never got quite as much development as the other three, but, my interpretation of Jadeite is someone who tries very hard to Follow The Rules and to Do What He's Supposed To Do; a bit studious and intelligent, but a bit of a stick in the mud, and, though he can play to a crowd like a professional, he struggles to connect with anyone on a close personal level. In his 20th century life, despite being one of the Four Heavenly Kings, he's a thankless and frustrated servant of the ruinous Dark Kingdom, where no one else is really staying on task and he keeps trying to do what he's Supposed To Do and it keeps not working and it is just eating him alive. But in his past life, as Sir Jadeite of the Four Heavenly Knights, he was a well-meaning and somewhat shy young man, with skills to help Prince Endymion on their many adventures. His kind heart impressed Thetis, a woman a few years his senior who was old friends with Madame Beryl, but...
