🖊+ Kyrie!

Her main Pokémon is an Altaria just like both her parents (Winona and Lisia). She probably raised him from when he was just a tiny Swablu, since I like to think they gave her an egg to look after when she was a kid.

She’s a Pokémon coordinator like Lisia, but makes a point of having a very different style and technique from her mom since she wants to be successful in her own right and not just Lisia 2.0. 

She’s part of the older and more experienced “trio” of coordinator characters, along with Orlando (Steven/Wallace’s son) and Sebastian (Harley/Nando’s son). The younger characters like Maddie, Alyssa and Tristan look up to them a lot.

Kyrie often dresses in a somewhat androgynous, bifauxnen-type style when participating in contests, and comes across as intimidatingly cool. She’s amassed a small group of fangirls who cheer her on when she’s performing.

I’ve never drawn her but this is a rough idea of what she looks like! Link to the picrew editor I used is here.

Another life ruined

I want to tell you another story. I want to tell you the story of Jonno and Richard. You already know what happened with John and Ivan. Jonno lyed to Ivan that he was single to sleep with him. He has done the same to Richard while he was with Ivan. Jonno told Rishard he split up with Ivan and they were just friends. John told that lie in march this years. But Jonno was still with Ivan and all he wanted was sex. So he made Rishard believe he wanted to date and be in a relationship with him. From day one John turned the chat about sex telling Richard he wanted to "suck him off" and "fuck him hard in the ass". The story with Jonno and Richard is very similar to what happened with Ivan. John contonues with his way of hiding the the truth just so he can get laid. Risch is now struggling with his feelings as he finds out he was fucked for nothing. A few days after Rich finds the truth Jonno stops talking to him. He splits with both Ivan and Rich and contonies. He moves to Dan. Dan seems sweet and trusting. He buys his story too. It is early July and Jonno is already sleeping with Dan and telling him how he was cheated on in his last relationship. John tells Dan he was left heart broken, harassed, attacked. He knows this is not true but he also knows he has done it before and it worked. Jonno knows it is ok to make up stories to have sex with people and get money from them. We need to stop Jonno as this is enough. Noone can be lied to and taken advantage of. John is going to keep do this until he can and until he gets away with it.

Mum never stopped battling for his freedom, hence she doesn’t know a whole lot about my brother’s and my curse breaking adventures.

would you say you have a “messed up life” ➔ In retrospect, my school life is fairly messed up. I’m fine back home but seriously, I question the Headmaster’s judgment and the security measures at Hogwarts. Having a normal day at Hogwarts without worrying about the Cursed Vaults is rare treat now these days.

Tentang Kesepian dan Agresivitas

Aku sering bertanya-tanya, di titik apa seorang anak yang sedang tumbuh untuk pertama kalinya mengalami hadirnya kesepian?

Tentu saja apa yang kumaksud bukanlah sebuah kesepian karena ketiadaan kawan atau mereka yang dianggap dekat, melainkan sebuah kesepian eksistensial, sensasi reflektif. Maksudku adalah momen saat seseorang menyadari hadirnya kehampaan atas kondisi manusia saat ini, di mana jejak-jejak awalnya hadir saat seorang anak menginjak remaja—atau setidaknya usia kuliah.

Apakah momen tersebut hadir di waktu yang lain, dalam diri orang-orang lain? Apakah momen tersebut hadir hanya bagi mereka yang berada dalam pengondisian sosial yang sama, tapi tidak hadir bagi mereka yang berbeda? Apakah malah cukup banyak orang tidak mengalami hal tersebut sehingga aku seharusnya menyudahi pertanyaanku tersebut? Masalahnya, merespon sendiri pertanyaan terakhirku barusan, pengalamanku mengatakan sebaliknya: banyak orang mendapati momen tersebut.

Topik ini sebenarnya bukan topik yang berat seperti anggapan banyak orang, tetapi bisa jadi berat saat dialami sendiri. Tanpa berupaya menjadi tradisionalis, diakui atau tidak, abad terakhir ini menunjukkan semakin menurunnya kemampuan tradisional manusia untuk berbincang dan bertukar pikiran secara nyata. Kita tidak berbincang bertatap muka, kita berbincang melalui medium yang mampu memberikan kita sensasi atas ketiadaannya konsekwensi. Rasa aman—berdasar pandangan ketiadaan konsekwensi tersebut—justru yang sedikit banyak berperan dalam pengisolasian diri kita sendiri. Sebagai spesies. Sehingga tidak heran apabila kesepian eksistensial tersebut bisa jadi merupakan hal yang esensial dalam beberapa tingkat dalam hidup sebagai seorang manusia.

Masalahnya, aku tidak yakin anak-anak muda paham hal tersebut. Aku juga dulu tidak paham.

Padahal pembahasan mengenai hal tersebut kurasa cukup banyak. Seorang sutradara Russia, Andrei Tarkovsky, saat dimintai saran bagi generasi muda Russia oleh wartawan, ia merespon:

learn to love solitude, to be more alone with yourselves. The problem with young people is their carrying out noisy and aggressive actions not to feel lonely.

Tapi apakah sesederhana itu? Sehingga sensasi rasa tersebut bisa dipastikan tak akan tumbuh lagi di kemudian hari? Rasanya tidak seperti itu juga. Aku malah berpendapat bahwa kita semua merasa sendirian dalam beberapa poin kehidupan, hal tersebut bahkan sudah menjadi kebenaran empiris yang tak dapat dihapuskan begitu saja dengan cara apapun. Sensasi rasa teralienasi telah hadir sepanjang sejarah kolektif di muka bumi ini sebagai homo sapiens; beberapa akan mengingat Schopenhauer, Kierkegaard, Sartre atau Camus. David Foster Wallace juga menyadari hal tersebut saat ia berkata bahwa kita, umat manusia, memiliki “kebebasan menjadi penguasa atas kerajaan kecil kita yang sebesar tengkorak, sendirian di tengah semua ciptaan” saat ia mengomentari budaya kontemporer.

Sementara saat ini, aku cukup bosan dengan bagaimana istilah dan posisi ‘jomblo’ seakan menjadi trend, yang terus diulang-ulang, bahkan hingga semarak di tengah kaum Kiri, bahkan juga hingga seakan menjadi salah satu topik cuitan sang walikota Ridwan Kamil. Memang, aku paham, bagaimana rasa saat seorang kawan yang cukup dekat, mulai berpasangan. Mereka jatuh cinta, merasa menemukan pasangan hidupnya. Kita semakin jarang melihat mereka, tetapi sebagai kawan kita harus memberikan selamat dan restu, walaupun mungkin sedikit cemburu, bukan karena sang pasangan, tapi karena perginya sang kawan.

Mungkin memang kaum Kiri, yang seringnya membangga-banggakan betapa logis dan ilmiahnya ideologi mereka, hanya becanda dengan respon berlebihan mereka atas status ‘jomblo’. Entahlah. Tapi lepas dari apakah mereka hanya becanda atau tidak, cinta bukanlah masalah utamanya—tidak seperti anggapan yang sebagai konsekwensi hadir atas popularitas isu jomblo. Masalahnya terletak pada upaya untuk mengisi kekosongan tersebut dengan sesuatu, bukannya malah dipahami sebagai bagian intrinsik dari hidup. Buddhisme dan zen, serta filsafat Timur mengajarkan bahwa kita tak bisa sekedar mengisi kekosongan tersebut dengan apapun—entah dengan pasangan, benda, atau apapun. Cinta justru membutuhkan sebuah kekosongan dalam tingkat tertentu, sama seperti bagaimana semua hal membutuhkan kekosongannya sendiri. Kekosongan adalah sebuah eksistensi spesifik sekaligus jawaban bagi pertanyaan yang hadir karena eksistensinya sendiri. Kita terlalu sering, dan seakan terus dipacu, untuk mengasosiasikan kesendirian sebagai kesepian, sebagai hal yang buruk, sebagai akhir dunia.

Betapa tidak? Saat individualitas didorong gila-gilaan, tetapi kalian semakin merasa malu apabila berjalan-jalan seorang diri, menghadiri sebuah acara dengan datang seorang diri, menonton bioskop sendirian, makan di restoran sendirian. Kalian mengaku individualis tetapi kalian selalu mengemis untuk ditemani.

Jadi bagaimana kesendirian ini sebaiknya direspon? Kita, kalau mengutip Camus, “mengkonfrontasikan dengan absurditas eksistensi kita sendiri��. Karenanya, sebagaimana dipaparkan dalam tulisannya, hal yang paling masuk akal adalah dengan pemberontakan, sebuah perang melawan eksistensi itu sendiri. Hal ini dapat dilihat dengan bagaimana anak-anak muda justru merespon kesendiriannya dengan cara yang agresif. Itu perang yang mereka kumandangkan atas hidup. Kuakui dulu aku juga demikian. Sama saja. Hanya seturut berkembangnya pemahamanku, terima kasih atas dunia yang memberiku kesempatan untuk berjumpa dengan mereka yang berbeda dengan diriku, aku malah melihat bahwa hal yang harus dilakukan justru dengan penerimaan.

Tidak. Ini bukan sebuah langkah nihilistik. Karena langkah nihilistik hanyalah sebuah bentuk agresi dan perang yang berbeda. Sebagaimana Nietzsche—yang sering disalahpahami sebagai Bapaknya para Nihilis—menyatakan bahwa nihilisme adalah sesuatu yang harus dilampaui untuk mencapai tujuan, bukan tujuan itu sendiri.

Hadirnya penerimaan itu, masalahnya kembali pada pertanyaanku di awal, di titik apa sang anak akan menemui hadirnya kesepian? Apakah ada konflik yang hening di mana beberapa anak akan belajar menyelesaikannya sementara anak lainnya tak henti melancarkan perang eksistensial secara instingtif? Mungkin jawabannya terletak pada individu itu sendiri, sebagaimana hal tersebut terlalu tinggi untuk dapat dijawab melalui ilmu psikologi, terlalu berantakan dan tak stabil.

Mungkin malah aku yang berpikir terlalu jauh saat aku merasa lelah dengan agresivitas-agresivitas yang hadir bertubi-tubi dalam masa Pilkada—yang tentunya akan berlanjut hingga setidaknya Pilpres dua tahun mendatang. Lelah karena mendapati ternyata sedemikian pentingnya identitas bagi tiap individu, sedemikian pentingnya pengakuan dari individu lainnya, karena kekosongan yang mereka miliki bukannya disadari dan diterima, melainkan malah direspon dengan perang. Aku bertanya-tanya, apakah ketidakmampuan mereka menerima kesendirian eksistensial pertama kali kala mereka muda berujung pada ketidakmampuan mereka menerima hal yang sama di usia mereka yang beranjak dewasa? Masalahnya lebih jauh, apakah memang solusinya adalah dengan menerima? Bukankah mereka yang agresif dalam momen Pilkada saat ini kebanyakan justru mengakui bahwa dirinya menerima hidayah Allah?

Bisa jadi usulan penerimaan hanya tetap sebuah spekulasi, itu karenanya aku berpikir bahwa apa yang dapat dilakukan adalah pertama-tama kita harus mulai belajar untuk mengenali kesendirian yang esensial dan isolasi dengan satu atau lain cara, bukan memusuhinya. Bahwa hidup tak selamanya menyenangkan. Bahwa kita tak selalu harus merespon dengan agresif setiap keheningan yang hadir atau kekosongan di antara not-not balok irama hidup, karena tak pernah ada musik yang dapat dinikmati tanpa adanya jeda sama sekali.
