i have an essay of this insanity but a chunk of it is:

-sue was made in the same lab as rupika, she was given to kireek as a child in lieu of proper payment for his services

- he's raised her as a partner and operative since she came under his wing. he's never mistreated her but he's always been stern and clinical

-a chunk of their bond is over being artificial beings with no real place in normie society on coral. sue longs for a normal life but is afraid to leave kireek

-ash is the heir to a man of high standing -- kireek's old boss, dead of mysterious circumstances

-sue and ash used to play together a lot whenever kireek had business with ash's family

- they had a silly little childhood love thing. sue became jaded at an early age and ultimately understood that it'd never work out but ash having a soft upbringing was always unrealistically idealistic about their relationship

-but ultimately sue was sad about apparently leaving her only friend behind and basically giving her life over to the criminal underworld, kireek encouraged her to forget about him

-SURPRISE, ash came to ragol also

- he had to give up most of his social standing to become a hunter but he wants to properly make something of himself. he wants to become the type of man who could impress the cynical girl from his childhood

- they have a surprise reunion on ragol and it turns into an on and off romance, complicated bc ash is goody goody and sue is associated with. well. assassins lol

-kireek comes to dislike ash. he's the son of a man he hates, he's a liability, he's here romping around on a dangerous planet like it's all fun and putting other people in danger, he's distracting his studentdaughter and pulling her away from him

- he wants that white boy DEAD

Duo Maxwell : I'm gonna believe to be honest that I am the best of the best and we are going to prove to you all, who is the best scythe wielder in all of Japan? My robot over here is Deathscythe and he wields a scythe for a robot! He can cut down to any pieces to more than you guys!

Hidan : For some starters, I got the best scythe there is and I have one right here! I've known about scythes and this is why I joined the Akatsuki to be the best scythe wielder! there is in all of Japan!

I can't stand of you soul-reaping dildos keeps fans talking about scythes are cooler than swords and every fictional characters in the world wields a stinkin' scythe! And that goes to you Magus.

Believe it or not, Soul Eater is hardly to believe that the name comes from the weapon of another scythe wielder and that is some old bullsh*t!

Elly : So you wanted a scythe so badly, then fight a different weapon with a big ass sword that is so damn big, It might shove it up in your ass! This is the reason that I am sick of everyone being a scythe wielder! Go find another weapon to wield and I meant to use a god damn sword! But before I'm gonna let you all go. I gotta come clean to you all scythe users from around the world that I have one very important for me to say this. And I have courage to speak it out and it pains me that I have to do this.

i'm not entirely sure if casts need sleep, and the thought might be unsettling to kireek since as an assassin he'd be hypervigilant of everything around him. so whenever they’re on a particularly long or grueling mission, kireek will sit watch next to marian while they sleep, making sure to eliminate any potential threats as silently as possible… if marian absolutely must take a rest, then nothing should come to disturb them while they do so - it’s cowardly and pathetic to attack someone so vulnerable! their enemies should be ashamed of being so weak.

marian wishes they could do the same for kireek, but there’s no need for that, he assures them. ‘just focus on getting stronger. i can handle them myself,’ he would say. he might get a little offended — protecting them is his job. not out of obligation, of course, but he can’t leave them be until the moment their souls clash in a heated battle… or something homoerotic like that
