Hey, I just realized that every numbered instalment of the Kingdom Hearts series technically kills off one of the flagship Disney characters.

KH1 - Mickey gets locked in "Hell" with Riku in the ending

KH2 - Goofy gets brained and is treated as dead for a bit

KH3 - Donald uses his lifepoints to cast the strongest spell in existence and dies from the strain before time gets rewound
