Growing up Jack’s parents didn’t seem to react strongly to anything he does, supportive or disapproving. They were adamant on living a stress free life it meant they were emotionally distant. Jack resolved to never be like that with his own kids, even if it cost him his looks.

i think deep down there IS a part of jack that knows how neglectful his parents were and it means so much when he does everything he can to not be like that with his own kids :') (gshenfe even if he doesn't realize he's hurting them in a different way)

SERIOUSLY THOUGH. i think maybe what if.. little jack learning compassion and empathy from molly. molly reading young jack bedtime stories and sewing him toys. according to flashbacks, molly totally could've been working at the pastel palace at the time?? which makes me feel like this is totally plausible!! so!! :)

So, Danny who wears sunglasses to hide his eyes from the GIW and Constantine who is very sure he's a ghost pretending to be human and vows to keep an eye on him.

The way the League meets Danny isn't all that grand. One moment there was Constantine, the next there was a boy lifting up and walking out of his coat while holding a pack of cigarettes.

"These are bad for you and will kill you." Theboy says while lighting himself one, Constantine doesn't even make a move to stop him as he tries it, only to immediately hack up a lung and Constantine takes that moment to pick his pack out of the boy's hand, lights himself one, and smoothly does what the boy failed to do while flipping him off.

The boy flipped him off in the midst of coughing.

Batman breaks the silence when the kid finally stood up properly, asking who he was and why he was here.

"Name's Danny, this guy." He points at Constantine. "Is my illegal guardian and I'm here becquse apparently you needed an expert in pacifying ghosts?"

"There are so many better ways you could have worded that." Constantine groaned and Danny smirked. "What? It's the truth though, I am your expert."

"You know bloody well what I'm talking about."

"Gotta be more specific, old man."

"Least I lived past 14."

"You wound me." The boy says, hand on his chest and wiping away invisible tears while Constantine rolled his eyes.

"Ahem." Batman narrowed his eyes.

Theories on why the Pastel siblings have been locked away for so long.

Lilyth didn’t want her children to be exposed by the very society who cruelly judged her and King Jack took it to far by thinking it meant never letting them leave the palace or far from Pastel Kingdom until he’s found what he needs to find for her.

King Leland exposed King Jack’s family’s true thoughts regarding Leelathae. Jack banished them from Pastel Kingdom and kept them away from his children, leaving Leland as his only support. Coupled with his subtle manipulation and Jack’s loneliness, he convinced him to keep his children away from the larger part of royal society so that when the time came Jack’s daughters will be willing to marry Leland’s sons since they weren’t presented with any other options.

this!! this would make A LOT of sense. banger theories. you can't tell me leland wouldn't manipulate this into happening.... having jack raise his daughters to be vulnerable in his eyes while leland had his sons "prepared", taking away options from the pastels, all really does seem like leland and it really do be fitting his motives. and jack misunderstanding something definitely seems like it's likely too lmao. ONE OR THE OTHER. BOTH REALLY WORK
