When it comes to festival in India, different types of foods were prepared and served. During Holi, “Malpua” has its own importance in lives of many eastern and northern region people.
I remember during Holi and Deepawali my mom used to prepare Puri, Puwa, aloo dum and kheer. I used to enjoy having delicious Puwa made by mom. Now I miss those yummy Puwa when I am working and cannot visit my hometown during Holi.
I will share a small and easy recipe to make delicious Puwa to celebrate festival, success, happiness and special moments of your life. This recipe can be prepared by any one.
Preparation time : 10 min
Cook time: 10 min
For 7-10 pua or 3~4 person
Ingredients:
1. 2 cup All purpose Flour (Maida)
2. 1 tea spoon Fennel seeds (Saunf)
3. Sugar (Chini) as per taste
4. 1/2 cup Semolina Seeds (Rava) - purely optional
5. Dry fruits - almonds, kaju and kismis
6. 2 Cardamom
7. 2 Banana - optional
8. Oil for fry or ghee (clarified butter)
Recipe:
1. Take a bowl mix Maida, fennel seeds, sugar, semolina and dry fruits to make a thick paste
2. Add optimal quantity of milk to get thick paste.
3. Heat a non stick Kadhai with oil in it. Pour big spoon paste into heated oil. Cook it in slow heat for few minutes and then turn it over to other side.
4. When the pua is turn brown in Color take it out and put it in tissue paper so that excess oil is absorbed.
5. You can serve delicious Puwas.
6. You can even put it in chaashni made of sugar, water, elaaichi powder and kesar to get taste of restaurant style puwa.
7. You can even try this puwa without chaashni with rabdi to add extra flavour to this delicious dessert.

2.Remove from the heat and keep warm.

1.Combine the flour, arrowroot and melted ghee in a bowl.
2.Add 1 cup of water, whisking continuously Add 2 more cups of water again in a thin stream while whisking continuously
3.Keep the batter in a cool place away from the heat.
4.Place the ghevar ring in a kadhai and pour melted ghee in it till it reaches 3/4 of the height of the mould.
5.Heat the ghee on a medium flame and put in one spoonful of the batter into the mould in a thin stream. The batter should settle in the mould.
6.Repeat seven times making a hole in the centre of the ghevar using a wooden skewer stick. Pour the batter into this centre each time.
7.Once cooked take out and Immerse in sugar syrup, drain quickly and place on a serving plate.

How to Make Nazaqati Boti Kebab recipes super suvai tamil
1.Take a wide bowl, put washed mutton, cubes add ginger paste, raw papaya paste, white onion paste, curd, coriander powder, yellow chili powder, gram masala, potli masala, salt and brown onion.
2.Blend well with the help of both hands, keep in refrigerator or in a cool place for 1 to 2 hours.
3.Take a wok, put on heat add half amount of ghee, then clove and cardamom, after roasting put the entire marinated mutton, add some amount of water, roasted channa powder and stir vigorously. Put on medium flame, cover it for almost 15 minutes till completely done.
4.After 15 minutes, remove lid when the mutton is almost done. Now add cashew, almond, chironji paste, dessicated coconut powder, rose petals and poppy paste. Again blend it with a ladle and roast for 5-10 minutes.
5.Now add saffron water and kewra water, stir 2-3 times and close the lid and remove from the flame immediately.

2.Remove from the heat and keep warm.

Shahi Kheer Recipe with Ingredients and Method
INGREDIENTS Milk - 1 Ltr Paneer - 250 gms Kesar dissolved in luke warm Milk - 1 gm Chopped badam, pista and cashewnuts - 15 gms each Sugar - 75 gms
METHOD 1. Pour 1 ltr milk in a pan. Add 75gms of sugar. 2. Stir constantly and cook till the milk is reduced to half the quantity. 3. Add the kesar dissolved in luke warm milk. Then, add the grated Paneer into the milk. Stir well. Bring to 2 boils. 4. Transfer into a fridge and allow to cool. Garnish with chopped nuts and serve cold.

How to Make Kesar Pista Phirni Super Suvai Tamil recipes

3.Broil saffron and set aside. Blanch pistachios, peel and cut into slivers.
4.Add the coarsely ground rice paste to the milk and cook stirring continuously so that there are no lumps and it does not burn or stick to the bottom of the pan.
5.Add Sugar and mix. Add green cardamom powder, saffron and mix. Add rose water. When the mixtures starts thickening take it off the flame.
6.Pour into soaked Kasoras / earthenware pots and keep them in the refrigerator to chill for 1 to 1 ½ hours. garnished with slivered pistachio nuts, saffron and dried rose petals.

4.Add the coarsely ground rice paste to the milk and cook stirring continuously so that there are no lumps and it does not burn or stick to the bottom of the pan.
5.Add Sugar and mix. Add green cardamom powder, saffron and mix. Add rose water. When the mixtures starts thickening take it off the flame.
6.Pour into soaked Kasoras / earthenware pots and keep them in the refrigerator to chill for 1 to 1 ½ hours. garnished with slivered pistachio nuts, saffron and dried rose petals.

Prepare Delicious Dishes Using Kesari Rava
Kesari Rava is also called as semolina or sooji or 'cream of wheat'. This is the most common ingredient used in Indian cuisine; this is most probably lying around your kitchen beside all other flours. Rava is widely used both in the Southern and Northern parts of India.
Rava is used to make savory and sweet delicacies. In the south, it is used to make Idli, Rava Dosa, Rava Uttapam, Kesari, Kichidi, Upma, and Pongal.
Whereas in North this is mostly used in the making of Halwa, Kheer, Upma, Kesari bath, Dhokla, and even in Bhatura. Apart from using it as the main ingredient, it is also used to coat food like patties, vegetable fries, and tikkas to attain a much crispier texture.
We list some of the most famous Kesari Rava recipes:
KESAR UPMA:
Kesar Upma is the most loved savory of India. This can be made within 10-20 mins.
INGREDIENTS:
Rava- 1 cup
Ghee- 1 tbsp
Groundnut - 2 tablespoons
Chana Dal - 1 tablespoon
Urad Dal - 1 tablespoon
Mustard Seeds - 1 teaspoon
Jeera - 1 teaspoon
Green Chillies - 2, chopped
Curry Leaves - 5 - 6
Onion - 1 medium, chopped
Water - 2½ cups
Salt - To taste
Coriander Leaves - 2 tablespoons, chopped
RECIPE:
Dry roast the Rava on low medium heat till it turns crunchy
Add ghee, mustard seeds, and jeera
Now add udar dal, chana dal, and peanuts, saute on medium heat till golden brown.
Next add chopped onions, chilies, and curry leaves. Fry till they turn fragrant.
Now pour the water, add salt according to taste, and let it boil.
When the water is boiling add Rava and stir continuously to break the lumps if formed.
Close the lid and let it boil for 6-7 mins. And garnish it with coriander.
RAVA DOSA:
Rava dosa is the easy crispy crepe of India.
INGREDIENTS:
Rava (Sooji) - ½ cup
Rice Flour - ½ cup
Maida - ¼ cup
Onion - 1 small, chopped
Green Chillies - 1-2, finely chopped
Ginger - ½ inch, finely chopped
Pepper - ½ teaspoon, crushed
Cumin Seeds - ½ teaspoon
Curry Leaves - 8-10, chopped
Butter Milk - 2 cups (300 ml)
Water - ½ cup (If required)
Coriander Leaves -2 tablespoons, chopped
Salt - To taste
Oil - For roasting
RECIPE:
Mix Rava, rice flour, and maida add chopped onions, chilies, ginger, cumin seeds, pepper, ginger, and curry leaves.
Pour buttermilk and stir to avoid lumps, mix it till you get pouring consistency, add water if required. Now add chopped coriander and salt to taste.
Rest it for 30 mins.
Heat the Tava and grease it with oil, once, it is hot pour the mixture starting from edges towards the center of Tava.
Fill in the gaps if any formed.
Roast for a few mins in medium heat.
Remove and enjoy with chutney.
RAVA KESARI BATH:
INGREDIENTS:
Dry fruits - 2 tbsp
Rava - 1 cup
Sugar - According to taste
Ghee - 2 tbsp
RECIPE:
In a thick pan add ghee and roast the dry fruits till golden brown.
Now add Rava in the same pan and roast till it emits a sweet aroma
Now add water and sugar to the pan.
Cook for 10-12 minutes.
Plate it with dry fruits.
