thoughts on keefe and vespera parallels?

I'll be honest, those characters are practically perpendicular in my mind.

I suppose the main thing to me is that they're both trying to overcome their core nature, but in opposite directions.

Keefe was designed to be a weapon, but fights against his nature and does whatever he can to make sure he doesn't hurt anyone.

Vespera is peaceful by nature, as an elf, but she does everything she can to overcome that and become capable of violence.

I'd be interested to hear the thoughts behind this ask.
