You cheer with the crowd as the cast of Legacies goes up on the stage. You're sat in the third row from the stage, eyes tracking Danielle's movements as she sits on her chair. She has no idea you flew to Georgia and arrived last night. It's a surprise you planned for her since you've both been so busy and have been missing each other.

The panel starts with a heap of people all lined up neatly, which is a bit surprising, but nice, to ask the cast questions. There's laughter and amusement radiating from the cast and the audience.

You try not to flush too much and to your own amusement, not bust out laughing, when someone gets to the microphone and asks a question about Danielle's girlfriend, which would be you. They've only seen you in a background of a live and a story of Jenny and Kaylee's on behind the scenes of legacies throwback.

Danielle obviously flushed right away at the question. Meanwhile Kaylee and Jenny chuckled, knowing the younger woman's utterly in love and infatuated with you.

You pulled out your phone and recorded her response, saving it for later. Her response was so sweet and you could see the love in her eyes.

"...And she's the best person to be around no matter my mood." She smiles lovesick.

"If you don't believe her, don't worry, we have proof" Jenny raised her eyebrows in encouragement, pointing to herself and Kaylee. "Ooh yeah" Kaylee smirks back at Danielle's embarrassment of her two best friends.

The cast and crowd chuckles at the teasing circle of the three friends.

As the panel goes on, you have a hard time not staring at Danielle, even if she's not the one talking or answering a question. Though at one point your eyes traveled over to Kaylee beside Dani, and your eyes lock.

Kaylee's mouth shaped into an 'o' shape before she smirked, discrettly looking from you to Danielle and back. She asks you with her eyes about confirmation, and you nod back, a smirk playing on your face, mirroring hers.

While Jenny answers a question about her character's wardrobe change during the seasons, Kaylee leans to the side and nudges Danielle in the side. The younger girl looks over to her friend, her eyebrows furrowed together in question.

Though instead of answering, she nodded into the crowd. Skeptically, Danielle turned her gaze into the crowd and searched around for what Kaylee was getting at.

And then her eyes landed on you.

You, her beautiful girlfriend who she had no idea was here.

Her cheeks immediately flushed, and you mouthed 'I love you', making her eyes widen and smile lovestruck.

"Ooh, what's got your attention Ms. Russell?" Jenny puts the focus onto Danielle, noticing the playful smirk on Kaylee's face and the flush on Dani's face turning more concentrated from her question.

"Um..nothing" the younger woman answers, shyness making its way into her voice. "Uh huh," Jenny says all 'serious'.

Before Jenny could probe more at Danielle, and much to the woman's relief the call for the panel ending is said.

They all said goodbye to the crowd and walked down the stairs to behind the stage. They went onto the huge grass field, occupying some of the other cast members from the vampire diaries and the originals and tents for shade containing tables with water for them to stay hydrated. Except for one.

Kaylee stayed behind and waved you over as everyone started standing from their seats to leave from this panel. You nod your head and sling your purse over your shoulder before discreetly walking over to her, hoping no one in the crowd takes notice.

Once you get there she leads you back stage and pulls you into a hug. "Hey Kaylee" you chuckle. "Hi" she pulls away, "Oh my gosh, I missed you so much. Aaand, I'm pretty sure your wifey missed you as well" Kaylee raises her eyebrow multiple times in a row for teasing.

You steer your direction over to where Jenny is grilling your girlfriend for answers to her question that got cut off from the ending of the panel.

"I should probably go save her, huh?" You cross your arms, leaning against Kaylee, who's arm is around your shoulders.

"That's probably a good idea, yeah" Kaylee chuckles and waves you off 'enchantedly' making you playfully roll your eyes and start you short journey over to Dani and Jenny.

"There's gotta be a good reason why you were as pink as bubblegum up there" you hear Jenny say with a teasing smirk.

Before Dani can answer, you bud in, "I think I may know the answer" you say, making them both turn towards you.

"Y/n/n!" Danielle exclaims and runs into your open arms. She hugs you tightly, head nuzzled into the crevice between your shoulder and neck.

"Hey, baby" you wrap your arms around her back, holding her closes to you. "You miss me?" you smile after ten seconds of her in your tight hold.

You start to rub one of your hands in circles on her back before looking up to the taller woman in front of you both. "Hey, Jen" You smile.

That made Danielle slacken her grip on you a bit and turns to look up at Jenny. "Shut up" Dani gets all shy again.

RELATIONSHIP TO GREER: Picture this: a small town young teen enters New York City for the first time with her older sister and brother. They have no other family, no other friends, and no money. They enroll at a local school and they’re immediately ostracized for being unusual. It’s New York though—and Greer Morrison is the it girl. Though they don’t go to the same school, the popular students talk about her. Holland knows that Greer Morrison is absolutely the last person that Holland would have contact with. They wouldn't even be in the same social circle if they went to the same school, which they didn't. But she heard her name out of the mouths of her bullies far too many times. Her parents claimed to work too much to let them run around town on their own. They were strict and didn't budge much on their rules and didn't want their children roaming around on their own. Cassidy was sixteen at the time and promised the second she turned eighteen that the three of them would leave this town. Two years later, the Bryant children packed their bags heading off to a new city, running as far away from their home as they could. More than just running away from home, Holland runs away from any tough situation, mostly acting like anything bad doesn't exist. Holland is the youngest child born to Daniel and Marilyn [REDACTED]. She has an older sister, Cassidy, and a brother, Henry, who are two and one year her senior. Close in age, they got along relatively well, though she was much closer with her sister then Henry. They’ve always been kind of a combination of Cassidy’s easy going personality and Henry’s quietness. 

Her parents were very strict growing up, so for the most part, she never really got a chance to be a kid. The only people her age that she knew were her siblings and a few other children around her age in her neighborhood that her parents vetted and deemed safe.

Holland was sixteen when Cassidy turned eighteen and got them away from their home, travelling cross country to New York City so they could blend in better. They were excited to get to be around a bunch more people their own age.

However, NYC was much different than their small town and Holland really struggled with bullies and making friends. They stuck to learning music and kind of existing with the other people her own age that also didn’t have a lot of friends.

Cassidy was stressed and worked several jobs to take care of the three of them. And when Henry graduated, he did the same thing. They both wanted to give their youngest sibling the time to be an actual kid that neither of them really got. 

They didn’t have the best grades after graduating from high school, but they were poor enough that they were able to snag a scholarship to Ogden. This is her first time really being on her own and seeing what the world is like and it’s... not easy, but she’s trying to make it work.

“Today is your birthday?!” That was the first thing she said while bursting into Y/N’s dorm room.

Y/N jumped off the bed in surprise because her bestfriend caught her off-guard. Once Y/N calmed down, she took her headset off slowly and closed her laptop. “What the hell, Saltzman!”

“Happy Birthday?” Josie whispered nervously before pursing her lips. Instead of saying thank you, you gave her a confused look. You never told anybody about your birthday, except for Mr. Saltzman and that was because he was the principal. 

“Where does this come from?” You asked while walking up to your bestfriend. “How do you know about my birthday?”

“I was in my father’s office earlier and I looked up your file. I swear, I don’t have any intention to stalk you, but then I saw your birthday. It’s pretty unique that your birthday is on New Year’s Eve.” Josie rambled before laughing nervously at your expression. “Y/N, please say something. I’m really sorry. Don’t be mad.”

“I’ll think about it.” Josie nodded before she walked out the door and closed it slowly.

You spent the rest of the day in your room because you didn’t want anyone to remind you that it was your birthday. If Josie just knew, the pain that happened on your last birthday party made you hate birthdays. A vampire killed your entire family, including you. The monstrous creature turned you to be one of their kind. That was the reason why was it so hard for you to except yourself.

Fortunately, there was Alaric, the person who saved you and made you accepted yourself for who you were. Josie was always there with you through ups and downs. You were so thankful to be apart of the Salvatore School. Although, the pain, the memory were still there and you didn’t have any intention to spit it out sooner.

The sun went down a few hours ago, you had dinner. It took everything for you to step out of your room without getting caught by anyone just to get into the kitchen and grab a blood bag. Attention was the last thing you wanted that night. Well, at least, that was what you thought until an hour before New Year. 

You got bored and finally gave up, so you decided to join the party and talk to Josie. You walked out of your room and went straight to the party. The loud music and cheers could be heard from across the hall. As you got closer the sound got louder and louder until you reached the room. 

You stayed in the doorway for a few seconds as it gained a few stares towards you. You got awkward, but you decided to shrug it off by walking through the sea of people, trying to find your one and only bestfriend, Josie Saltzman. 

After a few walks around the room, you didn’t see any sign of her existence. You felt guilty and upset for what you did earlier. Luckily, before you thought leaving the party was an option, Josie walked up the stage and started a speech.

“Hi, I’m Josie and-.” she sighed nervously and within a second her eyes landed on you. She gave me an unsure smile as you  gave her an “I’m sorry for I did earlier” smile. With that her smile got wider and you knew she was ready for whatever she was going to do next. “and since today is my best friend’s birthday, I decided to sing for her tonight.” 

The crowds cheered for her as the music started. You got nervous for a while, but it lasted once Josie started singing the first lyric. Your jaw dropped. She was singing Y/F/S. The song Josie used to make fun of, but there she was singing the song fully with her heart and she even memorized the lyrics. You were speechless and just with that you forgot what happened earlier between the two of you.

Once the song stopped, the brunette thanked the crowd as the crowd cheered. Josie looked at you one more time before walking down the stage and came up to you right away.

“First of all, don’t be mad. Second of all, what I did earlier was crossing the line, I’m really sorry.” Josie pursed her lips as a sign that she was nervous.

“No, I’m sorry. I should’ve not acted like that. Things weren’t great on my last birthday party and I should’ve never vented out on you or anybody.” Josie smiled widely then pulled me into a long tight hug which I returned a few seconds after. “By the way, about the song, you changed the whole meaning of birthday. Thank you.”

Summary: You surprise Kaylee with a trip to Disneyland for her birthday

"Where are we going?" Kaylee asks after singing along to the radio for a bit. She's blindfolded with a purple tie-dye scarf. "It's a surprise!" You exclaim, turning the blinker on before turning.

She huffs, causing you to chuckle and place your hand on her thigh. "Don't worry, we're almost there, ten more minutes" You let her know. "Yay," She quietly says, excited. "You're such a cutie" you squeeze her thigh before concentrating on the road again.

"Oookay, just wait one more second," You reach into the backseat and grab the tote bag. To which you pull out two matching Minnie Mouse ear headbands. You put on one pair and hold the other one out to her. "Aand, you can look!" She immediately unties the scarf, taking it off.

Her eyes land on the ears being handed to her. "Wait, seriously?" She looks out the windshield and windows seeing all the signs for Disneyland and California Adventure. "Oh my god! Ahhhh!" Kaylee exclaims, taking the ears from your hand and putting the black and red sequined Minnie ears on.

"Seriously, Happy Birthday!!" You tell her, grinning. You get out of the car, grabbing your mini backpack. Kaylee follows, slinging her own pink mini backpack over her shoulder before running over to you. She wraps her arms around your neck, hugging you. You hug her back, squeezing tightly.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you! I love you!" She pulls back. "You're welcome, baby. I love you too," You kiss her. "Now let's go have fun" You lock the car doors. "I love you so much, y/n/n" She giggles. "I love you too" you whisper in her ear.

You and Kaylee walk hand in hand to the entrances of the parks. As you're in line, you pull out your phone and bring up the tickets on the app.

"Okay, have a magical day," The cast member tells you guys after scanning the tickets.

Your girlfriend's grin grows bigger as she gets a happy birthday pin, her name written on it with a sharpie.

Kaylee's basically a big ball of energy, her smile can't be contained at this point. "Have I told you how much I love you" She links her arm with yours, holding tight. "Once or twice maybe" You kiss her cheek.

You guys stuff your faces and go on a bunch of rides, the Madhatter's tea cups especially. You've been on that ride four times now. "I think the kids are judging us" Kaylee looks away from a toddler dressed as Woody glaring at her.

"Oh, sweetie. It's okay" You coo and wrap your arm around her back in comfort. She cutely pouts into your shoulder before getting distracted. "They have an entire Frozen store, Oh my god" she clutches your hand and jogs over, dragging you along to the storefront. You chuckle, watching as her face lights up as you guys walk through the store.

She pauses, mouth agape. You follow her eyesight and land on an Olaf backpack. "It's perfect" Kaylee lets go of your hand and picks one up off the rack. she holds it in her hands as if she's holding gold.

"You want it, baby?" You place a hand on her shoulder. She looks down before nodding slowly, noticing how childish she's acting. "Well, then we have to get it for you." you kiss her on the cheek again and take it out of her hands.

You lead her to the checkout counter and place the Olaf backpack on top. As the cashier rings the item up, you bring out your wallet. "I can buy it, y/n/n," Josie tells you. "No, it's on me, hun" You smile.

You pay for the backpack with your card and hand Kaylee the Disney shopping bag as you guys walk out of the store. "Thank you!" She hugs you. "You're welcome" You grin.

You guys sit on a bench and she switches out her belongings from the mini pink backpack into the Olaf backpack. She puts the pink bag into the Disney shopping bag. She grunts as she's unable to rip the tag off. "Do you want some help, baby?" You ask, a sad smile on your face.

She looks down, a pout on her face, "Yes please." She hands the bag to you. You grasp the tag in your hand and rip it off in a few seconds. You hand the bag back over to her. "Thank you," she tells you, her smile reappearing. "No problem," You tell her and throw the tag into the trash can beside where you're sitting.

You guys end up on the Madhatter's tea cups again, Kaylee clutching her Olaf while you spin the teacup as fast as you can.

"I swear one of these times, I'm gonna throw up after going on that ride with you," She tells you as you guys make your way out the exit and into the shop with all the Minnie ears and Mickey hats.

"This is the best day ever, the best birthday ever," She tells you as you guys look at one of the ear displays. "I'm glad, you deserve the most for your birthday," You tell her and accidentally drop one of the flower ears. You immediately crouch down and pick it up before putting it back on the rack. "Nobody saw that" You quickly say, causing Kaylee to chuckle at your antics.
