Scream Factory has revealed the specs for its Funeral Home Blu-ray. Originally due out on January 30, it will now be released on February 6. The 1980 Canadian slasher film is also known as Cries in the Night.

William Fruet (Killer Party) directs from a script by Ida Nelson. Lesleh Donaldson, Kay Hawtrey, Jack Van Evera, Alf Humphreys, and Harvey Atkin star. Mark Irwin (Scream, The Fly) serves as director of photography.

Young and easily frightened Heather (Lesleh Donaldson) is called to stay with her grandmother in the hopes of helping her turn an old funeral home into a bed-and-breakfast. 1958 Pride & Prejudice(s)

There were 2 adaptations in 1958, and I get to watch neither of them. (boo) One was a remake of the 1952 BBC adaptation - they just took the script and cast new actors. Jane Downs as Elizabeth and Alan Badel as Mr. Darcy

Apparently nothing survives, not even screenplays, although it was translated for the 1960 Dutch version De vier dochters Bennet - which is available! (I plan on watching the non-English ones as well, but it may take me longer because that's not something I can do in the background at work ahaha) The other was a 1-hour episode of the "Encounters" series, with Kay Hawtrey as Elizabeth and Patrick Macnee as Mr. Darcy.

The internet tells me you can find several photos and that an early version of the script is still out there!
